(OOC: Prior to Ground Zero)
Another lonely evening. A setting sky orange and scarlet as an homely sun set its time away on this day. Now to be replaced by an alien moon in the other section of the sky. Gabriel took in the moment with a gasp of awe certainly aware of the sudden calm that came with it. Reporters had stated tonight would be an awfully turbid night but something so harsh had to be predestined by something beautiful and soon after there'd be a bright new sunrise. Something that would reveal the harms of the past. Then it was the job of people to work the new day to clean and make everything anew. Something beautiful.
Gabriel sat atop the roof of the administrative building. A bomber jacket strapped comfortably about his wide shoulders and a set of dark jeans around his waist. He was at peace. He needed to be, it was do or die in a few days and he needed to follow through with whatever strength he could manage. Not only was he set out on his original quest but now he had the hopes of others behind him. A following destined for change.
A sigh. His arms set lightly atop the granite surface so that he could peer over the edge cheerfully. He wasn't worried, there'd be a time for that later on but for now he wanted to remember this calm this complacence. He had a vision of this in his new tomorrow...

Trizen Takano had managed to open and close the rooftop door without making a sound. In events like these, he liked utilizing his lightfoot technique, not to mention he thought it was cooler to suddenly appear out of nowhere, as opposed to loud obnoxious noises and sounds.
The boy stood some distance from the brewing thinker, obviously taking in the subtle touch of the day's end, though the aura of foreshadowing lingered on his grace and deep in the subconscious of Trizen's spirit. Whether or not the soul was able to successfully tell and discypher its cryptic message was one thing, but the clear and obvious not seen until the following day, was something the young one failed to grasp while keeping in the awe and majesty of nature's blissful wish: Peace.
For the while it seemed Trizen and Gabriel were one in thought and aura while he stood in his casual dress. Surely now, it would start. The moment Trizen's mind reminded him why he was even there. The reminder. The promise. The new goal and search for trust that seemed elusive in past whiles. Young Takano would be here settle the standard between himself and the one he looked up to: Gabriel Seran.
"Mister Seran," He liked to address Gabriel that way. The older boy was always so serious. "You wanted to speak with me?"

Gabriel sat there a long while taking in the scenery for once without the disturbingly serious persona. He figured that all his troubles where to blame for that attitude. Though something had certainly gotten him this far. A faint grin appeared remembering the past wiles and the work he'd spent trekking along the path to peace. It was impossible that much he had grasped but perhaps there was a better way to go about it at the moment. Perhaps something had given him hope to think beyond the norms and succeed. One could only hope.
His thoughts were cut short when he felt the eyes of someone on him. Either that or perhaps his own suspicious feelings seemed to be getting the better of him.
"Mister Seran, You wanted to speak with me?"
Gabriel turned his head to lock eyes quickly with Trizen. At first he shared no reaction but soon enough a small welcoming smile appeared on his face. The coldness was lost from him in this one moment and for that much he felt honored. A gift of fortune.
"yes... hmm Go ahead and take a seat I won't keep you long." Gabriel patted the space of ledge next to him still quick enjoying the sun.
"I wanted to concern you about the changes I had in mind. though going about attaining them will be another thing completely."
Gabriel shuddered a bit recalling his plan. He hoped that Trizen didn't think less of him for what he was about to do. In fact he didn't think upon the public atrocity it would cause. A small wince towards those involved.
"I hope you don't think less of me when my methods are revealed but I can assure you it is simply a means to an end. I want to have a republic put into effect so that we no longer have to be dominated by the pillar system and their oppressive rule."

Seeing the smile, Trizen felt a little better. A little more at ease. He knew it was going to be a serious conversation, and now it would only be time that revealed all that was between them. Whether or not David wrong and whether or not Trizen could truly trust this young man. Time told everything.
Seeing the pat of hand and relating them with his words, Trizen walked over beside Gabriel and did as friendly said. It was comfortable, though a tad nerve-wrecking seeing as how they were on the rooftop of a very tall building.
Gabriel then began to speak. He said his piece and said the foremost candid part of it. "Republic? That sounds fair... but now it sounds like a democratic pillar system. Unless this republic is made up of students of all ranks and levels, representations of grades and... well, I guess you know what I mean." Trizen said chuckling to himself a bit. Gabriel obviously knew what he was doing, though he wondered how this would differ from David's plans. "Then what of the current pillars? Will they be able to be apart of this new republic? Or would they all be "exiled" or simply stripped of their titles in a manner of speaking?"
In the end, Trizen was more worried about the safety of the students. Particularly those that were close to him. If Trizen learned anything about Gabriel, it was that at time he was reckless. Particularly when things got heated. He hoped in the heat of it all, Gabriel would not doing anything he regretted. Especially towards the Pillars.

Gabriel turned with an amazed grin that he'd been catching on so quickly. "You're exactly right, in fact I had hoped that this republic would be primarily made up off bits and pieces of each grade. Hopefully they'll feel the need to participate since we kind of over ran this place." Gabriel chuckled with a low hum in his voice.
That was the edge to the conflicts transfers. He remembered it back at #259 how they had been so devout of eliminating the transfer students that seemed so insanely strong only to have the tables turned again. Now they were the very transfers that caused the wreckage. It would seem as though the same route was being followed the transfers out to protect their own and only a few actually trying to protect the people. Hypocrisy, thats what it all was.
His eyes glowed as Trizen suggested exile however. In fact it had come to mind. The current pillars had done nothing but make things worse. Endorsing what they saw was right upon the school rather than taking it to the people. Whenever they truly had problems with the current issues they corrupted and mended the students to their will. But what would that make Gabriel if he were to exile them. No, he'd thought this through enough to understand.
"Indeed, I've thought on that many times." Gabriel sighed lightly, "It doesn't matter what I may want, democracy shall decide their fate... I shall keep my own ends out of it."

"You're exactly right, in fact I had hoped that this republic would be primarily made up off bits and pieces of each grade. Hopefully they'll feel the need to participate since we kind of over ran this place." Gabriel chuckled with a low hum in his voice.
Trizen sighed in relief. It looked like things were looking up for Gabriel. Perhaps David and Emily were making a bigger deal out of this than they thought. They made Gabe look like he was some kind of demon. Serious, sure. But demon? Killer? Manipulator? Hardly. Well, at least Trizen thought this way. Gabriel just had an awesome amount of charisma. Seemed like the kind of guy that would be able to win people over by saying very few words and charmed a smile every now and again. Well, at least Trizen thought this way.
Then Trizen mentioned the exiling set of things. Gabriel gave his answer, though he hoped in a way that it wouldn't have one at all. Complete exile from the school? Perhaps out of political affairs or something smaller but... well, it was a democratic system. He hoped it wouldn't come to that. He hoped people weren't that cruel. Everyone deserved a second chance if they were really, truly going to prove themselves.
"But if you're going to spearhead a lot of it, you'd have the most influence seeing as how you would have single-handedly created this republic..." Trizen said sounding slightly disappointed with the answer. "And Gabriel... something's been bugging me."
The young one fidgeted with the thought but decided to just say it, "David and Emily really think that you're going to become a sort of dictator. Now with you saying republic, I'm hoping that what they're saying isn't true. That and they believe you really would do anything it took to win what seems to be a brewing war... If you don't mind me asking... what are you doing that's making them so worried about the school's well-being? You're only going after the Pillars, right? No one else?"
Trizen knew the Pillars could take care of themselves. They were supposed to. They were Pillars. But Trizen worried that Mister Seran would cross some kind of moral boundary. There was always a code to follow and some kind of decency. Whatever that was. The boy just wanted to know if he could Gabriel enough to join him, or stay out completely from the brewing battle. Choosing between Gabriel and David was probably the toughest decision he had to make.

Gabriel nodded a bit unfortunatly. Indeed he was very true about that. Having the most influence did have potential hazardous side-effects. Even setting up the Republic would do nothing more than inspire a sense of Fascism that would spread throughout the school's system.
"hmmm now that could indeed prove troublesome. Thats why I hope to have people keep me in check..."
"And Gabriel... something's been bugging me."
Gabriel's head turned up curiously a Trizen's quick statement. Gabriel could only wonder what he'd say. Whatever had to prove bad incitements. He listened curiously. Already having heard much of this from their mouths directly it didn't surprise him. Though his former allies had known him very little much less given him the urgancey to ask him of his inquiries. They much more so pressed their own ideals something Gabriel didn't fancey at all. They were much too refined to old system's old habits and the ways of a structured society.
Gabriel shook his head. "Trizen, I don't know what to say but I'm going to have to do something horrible. I'm not sure if I'll get the chance to be forgiven for this. Emily and David have their ideals set in stone and I am incapable of changing them, but I do not blame them in fact I envy them."
He loomed over the boy like a father would placing a trusting hand on his shoulder. The warm human hand not his metallic appendage. In was comforting and non-judgmental whatever Trizen chose would be his own destiny not influenced by Gabriel.
"I would want nothing more than to earn your trust rather than have it forced upon you. So here... This is for you, when the time is right you'll know when to activate it..."
Gabriel handed him a power conduit. The circutry powered the subterranian generator beneath the school. The very thing that fueled his plans lie in the hands of a conflicted teenager. What a gamble indeed. Gabriel pressed aside the worry and logic in his mind telling him not to give it away but he fought the evil spiits within him seeking out the light instead. Trust.

Then he stood over the boy. Interesting. Trizen didn't really notice it before, but Gabriel was quite tall. He stood at a quintessential 6'2" while Trizen was merely 5'8". Not bad for fifteen, but even still, Gabriel was sure to be a tall man when he was fully grown. Trizen did trust Gabriel, especially when being reassured that he wasn't about to force his opinions. But then there was a bit of a twist.
'A power conduit?'
"What... what would you do that would require me to use this?" The boy really didn't know when, but he trusted Gabriel knew that Trizen would figure it out. As strange as that sounded, but Gabe was right. Trizen was conflicted. Deeply. As much as he figured his own resolve was to see the school safe, he found it difficult to think which path was best when both were foggy. David's path relied on Gabriel's own being too dark and narrow. Gabriel's own relied on the path and direction the Pillars were taking the school. Interesting how both men were sources of light for different paths. Trizen just didn't know which road to take... or if he should take one at all.
