(ooc: I have permission from Masaru to add him inhere subvertly if he has any issues with it he can contact me and I'll make the changes; so he's like totally standing beside me somewhere... yea... O yea also have permission from Selena to grab Reira um lost the Msn convo but I'll have it reconfirmed when she's on though she insists upon it being a struggle so yea XD)
IC:
His Black Knights were ready. Those loyal to him stood by his side. Time however seemed against him. The odds tilting uncomfortably against his favor. Old allies were now enemies, they fit the stage opposite of him. Emily, the first person he'd met from this school, his first ally and at one point the person he looked up to the most. David Blaze, his first true rival, a friend he'd fought with for the greater good. Matrim, his greatest rival he'd fought thus far. Now would define how far this rivalry would go.
Gabriel stood before his allies, before his foes, his tattered leather jacket faltered in the winds rapid movements. His gaze locked in a deadly trance with the burning flag. His anger sparked in a flurry as his focus spiked. But a grin shown nonetheless. This was what he'd wanted in the end. This stage before him, change was within reach.
"You who stand against me throw down your arms and embrace a new change. Our school lies in wreckage and you choose me as your foe." Gabriel scoffed darkly. "What hypocrites you are! You preach to be out for the greater good yet you stand merely to defend a title, something I aim to mend..."
A small glint from his pocket appeared as he received a small black phone. It had been on speaker the whole while he'd been talking, playing to the entire school. Gabriel grinned bringing the phone to his lips.
"This is Gabriel Seran, calling all students to stop fighting, throw down your arms immediately and come to the courtyard."
He hung up the phone with a cool collected motion in the power of his hand he controlled the populace of the school. His dark gaze fixated on his audience. Now came the difficult part of the game.
"Matrim, now you will see the that power is not about strength of bone nor body but the power of ones heart!"
Gabriel shifted back. His gaze locked on Reira. It took but a second to reach out and grab her. His metallic limb would clasp around her leading her to his side as the metal appendage found its way to rest at her belly. They'd seen his Qi and if his bluff paid off Matrim would stand down and surrender the title. And that would be a war solve without a single drop of blood.
"Now lets see how strong your heart is!"

And there Matrim stood, as if in slow motion as everything slowly took place. First he had David and Emily, both of whom were completely on his side from the look of things. This was something he was glad for. And as buildings set fire, sprinklers went off and stopped the flames. It seemed as if Sara not doing her job for Gabriel at least kept the buildings from burning down. Not to mention that with the fire alarm pulled the fire trucks would be here soon. Riots came and riots went, that wasn't Matrim's biggest concern.
It was when he grabbed her....
Tear his NECK OUT!!!!!
Matrim's teeth gritted, the addiction in his body had done a lot, and the stressful decision placed before him yet again... it was that time all over again....
That is Reira and YOUR child... set aside this foolish title you idiot, give up!
Matrim's fists tightened....
"....so Connor....." He said, "Gabriel is threatening my pregnant fiance' ..... and you chose to follow him?"
Matrim's words tasted like venom as they left his mouth. He wasn't sure who would gain control, but he was losing control. This situation had no place for logic, no place for reasoning, no place for sense. This whole thing was senseless. And that's when it happened, that's when it kicked in and one side won. One side always won.....
Matrim's Qi ended, Matrim dropped to his knees, his left hand placed on the ground, his head bowed but his eyes focusing on Reira's stomach....
"Don't.... don't hurt her.... I swear if you do....." He didn't forfeit his title yet, mostly because he was hoping somebody here would help. Emily or David, or someone else. Maybe Reira would nut shot Gabriel and it would be done and over with. All Matrim could think of was where Aternity was. Where his closest friend and brother happened to be. "If you do I'll let him out... and when I do he knows exactly how to hurt you... so let her go... let her go now and no harm will come to you. But if you so much as think about using your Qi....."
Matrim's facial expression changed.... a menacing look coming over... the fight for control was too strong....
"Little Reira all grown up, I believe it's been awhile. Tell me girl, do you wish for me to save you, or do you wish for him to save you... after all, a title is just a title, but something tells me that the child of Matrim Gallagher would never be taken down by a fucktard such as this. An animal who needs to be put back in his cage to rot for eternity..." He laughed as his eyes traveled to Gabriel, "I'll even give you all a little present..... he's bluffing!!!!"

”It was inevitable Gabriel; you should've seen this coming...” A voice said quietly from the speakers in the administration building where Gabriel, Matrim, David, and Emily were currently assembled. A lone figure sat in the chair in the radio broadcast room, unconscious, injured students were crumpled up against the wall, as Ryuu rested his legs on the table, leaning back in the chair. He had taken over the airwaves of the entire school, and considering no one except Emily and David knew of his plan, by the time Gabriel's subordinates reached the radio broadcast room, Ryuu would long gone.
It was time. As soon as he received the text message from David, Ryuu placed his iPhone back in his pocket, the message still on the screen, before making his way to the radio broadcast room, seeing as the PA room was currently out of commission. After Gabriel had tried to get him over to his side, and failed, the same day, Ryuu had contacted Emily the moment he left, telling her it was time. Ryuu was loyal to Emily, and only Emily, no one else. He listened and obeyed no one but her. He knew there would be some resistance against him when he barged into the radio room, seeing as he was not part of the group of students who were entitled to use the radio microphone, and while he didn't like to hurt other students without a reason, this is one of the situations where he simply had no choice but to do it, in order to do what he needed to do, which in this case, was use the radio microphone in order to drive the message to Gabriel.
- Present -
Ryuu lifted his legs off the table, and flicked the microphone off, before getting off the chair, leaving it spinning slightly as he exited out of the radio broadcast room, his hands in the pockets of the gray overcoat he wore on top of a plain black t-shirt, loose black track pants, and his black Converse shoes. "It didn't have to come to this Gabriel Seran,” Ryuu said quietly, as he slipped out of the shadows, having arrived at the fight unnoticed a couple minutes later, adjusting his black fingerless gloves, as he stood beside Emily, “You made it come to this, and now there's nowhere left to run.”

To Emily, there was no such thing as rivalry on this case. Rivalry was reserved for her and that bastard, Patrick. She stood there, as she watched everything unfold.
"You who stand against me throw down your arms and embrace a new change. Our school lies in wreckage and you choose me as your foe." Gabriel began. "What hypocrites you are! You preach to be out for the greater good yet you stand merely to defend a title, something I aim to mend..."
Emily watched, still as ever as Gabriel took his phone and called the student body to his aid. The white-haired girl looked around stoically. "Matrim, now you will see the that power is not about strength of bone nor body but the power of ones heart!"
"Now lets see how strong your heart is!"
It was then when Matrim gave his two cents, almost changing personalities for each paragraph. It was something Emily had never seen before, and it seems like he was one of them - those who were torn between two entities.
This time however, Emily would not join them.
Closing her eyes, Emily delved into the deeper part of her consciousness - where once again, she and Kari convened.
"... you're determined, aren't you?"
"... I have no reason not to."
"... Why have you been holding back all this time?"
"... Fear." Emily said, "A fear of loss."
"What makes things so different now?"
"I know where I stand." Emily declared, stepping forward and looking onto the crowd. "I believe your logic fails you, Gabriel."
The girl's eyes were flaring with determination she had yet displayed ever since the Correctional Facility. Ideals were bursting forth from this girl, her aura now becoming dangerous from the usual warm atmosphere she always had. This was a side of her she had yet to show to the public.
Even at the days she was School Captain, she had never seen something like this. Linda had pulled her down from her throne without anyone else getting hurt - and this was how it was going to be.
Gabriel knew full well of Emily's power. She was far beyond his reach, even Matrim probably wouldn't compare - but he was the closest. Emily was aware of this, but it was only now when she had the resolve to use it. "You claim to be the greater good, and yet you not only pull the entire school against us - but you even pulled in the captain's pregnant fiance on your side, and I suspect you did tell your cronies to blow up one school building." She laughed, her arms now crossed by her chest. "Is that concern for your fellow students and to the community? You don't deserve the title you desire. You drag people into this challenge instead of facing it yourself - why, that's not concern, that's blasphemy and total cowardice."
Emily looked around again - there were only a few students who came. Such lack of influence. Emily gave Gabriel a sly smirk and then addressed the populace with a voice of determination and will. "My friends, this is all very charming isn't it?" She said, "One building costing the government tens and thousands of dollars of our parents taxes, blown to smithereens because this man right here-" She said, laying her hands to akimbo to Gabriel, "-Decided he wants change. However, I question the type of change he desires for all of us."
She then pointed at the burning ruin of a building, "IS THIS THE CHANGE YOU DESIRE FOR US ALL?" She declared, "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT FOR OUR FUTURE?! A BURNING PYRE!?"
*EPIC CHARISMA CHECK OF DOOM*
Ryuu then arrived. Emily smiled at him - he was a good man, who knew where he stood. "You're now at a check, dark king." She said sternly, and with authority, "Now, why don't you stop this filthy game of chess and fight a challenge as it should. Leave the rest of the school out of this."
"And you will, or you and the rest will answer to me."

David watched everything unfold, arms still across his chest as he waited for the climax of Gabriels plans. It almost seemed that Gabriel, while trying to reach the top, had sunk to the lowest of the low. He was using a preganant girl, a woman, to try and turn the School Captain agaisnt himself. He needed that for a win? It was dispicable and disgusting. It was so far out of what David thought Gabriel would do that it almost made him Pity the kid. David almost stepped forward to speak, but noticed Emily walking forward instead. He remained calm, eyes following after her as she tore Gabriel logic to the floor in much the same way he had planned. Good girl, she was. Had a good head on her shoulders.
He waited until she was finished before he walked forward as well, standing between Emily and the School Captain.
"Gabriel, we came here to not only protect a title, but to protect this school. As Emily said, you have done the damage to the school, not us. We have only tried protecting it. You were once like us, honorable and a friend. Its not too late for you to step down, to admit that you have lost and give in without consequence." His face, during this, was again calm and concerned, honest and truthful in what he spoke of. As he spoke the next line, however, he cracked his knuckles by making fists with them at his sides.
"If you don't regardless of a title, i'll stop you myself, even if it means a war, because it will be for the betterment of everyone in this building. They won't have to live in fear that one of your cronies is going to attack them, or that they don't have a choice in what is done." He stared a hold through the boy. "Wether you believe me a threat or not isn't important- that girl you hold has no sway over me, and i will defeat you regardless. Your choices are thus- stand down and come with us, or continue to nibble at the ends of dead plans. Either way will have the end of this battle and the peace of this school as a result."
David wouldn't be intimidated. Though he was a little curious as to what happened to Em to make her act so strange, he knew that now was not the time to adress it. Things needed to be done and done quickly, and with Matrim in the state he was in they probably couldn't count on him to fight. At least, not while gabriel held that girl in his hands. He could understand the frustration and fear inside the current School Captain- he would probably feel it too if it was someone he loved up there. But now was not the time to worry about that. He continued to watch Gabriel, waiting for a reply.
'Make your choice, Gabriel. Whatever you choose, this ends.'

Sometimes, most times, Connor found that being blind was a blessing. He could avoid the stares, avoid judging looks. At times like this, it was a curse. Connor hated violence, and hated more plotting of such. He had been in the dark far too long, but always had some sort of insight. He always knew something to aide him.=
Here, there was only darkness.
Matrim addressed him. The only one to. Connor had no idea who it was Gabriel grabbed, but he knew what would become of her if he unleashed his Qi. When Matrim spoke, and Connor got another vibration, he understood what was going on.
He turned to Matrim in utter horror and shock. Connor's face reflected that he had no idea what Gabriel was doing.
He was torn. He wanted change in the school. He wanted peace. But, what was the cost of such peace? Gabriel had mentioned they would be hated for bringing change. Connor hadn't understood. But, he didn't remember anything at all about this.
He didn't like where this was going. Not at all. Gabriel had been right about Connor. His inner strength was that to rally. Was that to stand for what he believed in. Connor did not believe in going about things this way. Not by threatening the innocent, especially of that of one yet-to-be.
This whole thing reminded him of one other mastermind. Someone who could also put a plan into motion. The same one who had given him the scars he so desperately tried to hide.
Mathew Amtrum.
Though his voice was softer than the others, and he didn't yell, his voice still cut through the noise. Like a voice over in a movie preview, he was heard.
"Gabriel... I respect that you would want to change things for the better. I respected you enough to want to train under you. I listened to you at the meeting. I was willing to follow." He took a step forward. "You never mentioned threatening innocent lives. I assumed self sacrifice. That, I was willing to do." He shook his head. He was standing beside Emily and David. "There has to be another way. I cannot agree to follow you if you harm that girl, or the child within."
He took up his own stance. He didn't want to. He prayed Gabriel was bluffing. The problem with Gabriel choosing Connor was simple. He had morals that he didn't sway upon. He knew he wasn't strong enough to fight Gabriel or take him down. Honestly, that wasn't his intent. He wanted this madness to stop. This couldn't be Gabriel's real plan, could it?
"Gabriel... let... her... go."

Ethan stood by in a corner, near Gabriel's side but at the same time, apart and aloof from the madness of the chaos taking place. So much happened, one thing right after the other. Gabriel suddenly seized some girl and held her captive in his arm, that same arm he had tortured Ethan with not too long ago, leaving a small scar on the side of his face...
The School Captain on the other side of the room seemed to suffer some sort of bizarre psychological meltdown, seemingly surrendering, then suddenly threatening and taunting. A girl stepped forward between them all, condemning Gabriel for, ironically enough, Ethan's own actions. To this he smiled. Clearly this stupid girl knew nothing of a display of power. She failed to understand that this was what was to happen to the enemies of the change. If she wanted the destruction to end, she and her cohorts were the ones who should step down, lest they bring upon themselves a sea of fire.
Still, Ethan couldn’t help but find it amusing that his own actions had unwittingly created more enemies for Gabriel. No matter. If Gabriel was as truly strong as he believed himself to be, then he would overcome all of this opposition.
Another student stepped forward, apparently someone important as well. More challenging, more arguing. Then a third spoke up, only it was one on their own side.
"Gabriel... I respect that you would want to change things for the better. I respected you enough to want to train under you. I listened to you at the meeting. I was willing to follow. You never mentioned threatening innocent lives. I assumed self sacrifice. That, I was willing to do. There has to be another way. I cannot agree to follow you if you harm that girl, or the child within."
The boy then moved forward and seemingly prepared to fight Gabriel.
"Gabriel... let... her... go."
Ethan now emerged from the shadows, hands in his pockets and took his place between Gabriel and the red-haired boy. Ethan could see from his gaze that he was apparently blind. Still, his cold hazel eyes met the blank green ones. Ethan had no personal stake in all this. However, he had commited himself to helping Gabriel come into power, if only for Ethan's own personal gain, and by extension the Paladins'. He spoke directly to the blind one, his voice quiet and unlike the loud noise throughout the rest of the room, but audible only to the other boy.
"Perhaps you don't understand what is at stake, here. All you fools and your petty moralities... you could never understand the meaning of sacrifice. To you, all it is stupid bravado and self-martyring. If this is what is necessary, so be it." His voice took on a sharp edge. "Stand down."

Gabriel stayed quiet as Matirm preached to Conner, in the end it was his choice Gabriel could do nothing about it. And he knew where loyalties stood. He knew that this would be the most difficult part of the job. He knew there'd be no going back from this point. He would be hated... Hunted... and killed. Yet he still proceeded forward what was it that made peace? Humanity could not define it. There had never been any peace but through great distruction there would never need to be any war. There had been a time of great waiting, a point in time where either side trained and prepared. They saw this coming from the very beginning but no one stopped it. Deep in there hearts they'd have to know it was true. Secretly they all desired conflict. It was human nature.
“You made it come to this, and now there's nowhere left to run.”
Gabriel made a small grin on his face. Even a chuckle to match it. He had to pull this off successfully. Though it was only a bluff he'd have to pull it off. Ryuu and Emily knew Reven was insane how were they to know he was not in control. And Matrim already presumed him to be psychotic. Even Blaze knew he would go to worlds end to meet his goals. If they played to those characters he knew so well there'd be no opposition...
"Then I guess theres no going back." Gabriel said as his right limb charged the electric circutry pulsating visibly. Another bluff though this one certainly more imminant.
He moved a hand over Reira's throat chocking her air off lightly. Only to appear violent though it would be loose enough for her to breath freely. She'd know what it was. A cool whisper only the two could hear.
"Please, stay the way you are... I will not harm you even if they kill me." He returned to the spiteful grin daring the entourage to charge his position he had the high ground and still endless warriers at his disposal. Along with his Black Knights still seething at the change at hand.
"IS THIS THE CHANGE YOU DESIRE FOR US ALL?" Emily chanted declared, "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT FOR OUR FUTURE?! A BURNING PYRE!?"
Gabriel glared in challenge. Emily, so very strong even as a public speaker. The shy pretenses set aside she was surely Unfettered re-encarnate. Though she lacked the will to do what is necessary.
"What is a building? What is a school for that matter but the people which dwell within them?" Gabriel commanded authority boasting the words with vigor.
"The buildings were cleared of innocents, this is a statement of the Black Knights and all free thinking people. Those who fight in the name of a building as opposed to the free will of the students do not deserve the prospects of authority. Rather they demand their tyranny to go unquestioned and unopposed. Freedom is the true answer here. What are you willing to give for that right!"
Gabriel's eyes turned on David. His words much mirroring the others though it held no weight anymore. Each ones just a sting at the heart though in the end he could take it. The pain was a burden he'd been carrying within for too long. He was glad he didn't share it with the subordinates. He was glad they wouldn't suffer for his sins. For he knew he was unfit for the title. He knew it would become but another weight on him. But then what was his plan to be. ahh yes it was something to be born anew. Something birthed from the hearts and minds of the common student. The few who were unable to speak freely against the tyrants of before. Something unshakable.
'One straw crumbles and breaks beneath the hand, a hundred straw stand firm against the break.'
"Gabriel... let... her... go."
His gaze turned on Conner. His voice of reason. He had faith in this one boy but somewhere behind the lies and stories he'd seen this to come in the end. He was not spiteful. No Gabriel knew the boy's heart it was kindred to his own. He wanted good. Though in this world of evil, change had to come at a cost.
"Conner... How do you fight evil? Do you stay pure and good only to know that the world around you will forever remain unchanged. "Or would you taint your hands with evil to defeat evil?" Gabriel gave the boy a small ammendable grin.
He didn't blame him, against all odds Gabriel would suffer. He'd be the one to fall before an ever growing wave of hatred. But it'd die here. Today Vengeance would die. Today everything would have to be rewritten to fit a changing world one in which the strong could co-exist with the many.
"Well then... It seems like it would be your move... Do you dare take the Dark King? At what cost...?" Gabriel stood dead center unwavering to the countless mob. A defining line breaking out between students.
Black Knights and the few that believed in him stood before the stairs, while Emily's followers gathered at her side. Gabriel had hoped for no blood to be spilled this day...
'When does war end?....'
'....When somebody wins.'

Post by Victor "Break" D'Armond on May 30, 2009 18:03:43 GMT -5
(OOC: Sara hasn't posted for a week so I'm just gonna take the other topic as a Tie and come over here)
Victor was late to the party, fashionably late as usual. He'd heard the announcement for all students to throw down their arms, stop fighting and come to the courtyard. After barely escaping sara this seemed a welcome change, of course the riots hadn't been stopped, and victor couldn't for the life of him tell why sara thought that beating up the person who started a riot would end it... oh well.
Victor came to the courtyard and saw what looked like a scene out of an action movie. A burning building, a charred flag, the entirety of the school pillar system all facing the one gabriel seran who held a girl by her throat, his hands charged with the electricity that once incapacitated break in a fight that now seemed like it was ages ago. Break remembered only last night helping this man put the finishing touches on his scheme. Today Victor was dressed very simple, some tight flexible jeans and a white t-shirt, he'd known there was going to be a big battle today. He also knew this was well out of his league.
And then gabriel, threatening the poor girl he held, this didn't seem right, even connor looked ready to fight gabriel, and it seemed as though everyone was turning against him. Break thought about this for a moment or so. It was a matter of loyalty that he not betray gabriel, it was a matter of honor that he not support what gabriel was doing to that girl, it was a matter of personal preservation that he wasn't about to jump in the fray on gabriels side against so many powerful fighters, it was a matter of wanting to just be friends with everyone, for fights to just be for fun, for once just have everything make some fucking sense that he decided to remain absolutely quiet, he wasn't going to fight anyone, he wasn't going to say a word, this was a time of observation, this was another persons game. He hadn't been here long enough to create his own story yet, and it wasn't his place to interrupt someone elses. One day, maybe it would be him on one side or another (hopefully neither burning flags, buildings, or threatening the helpless) but that one day, was not today.
He crossed his arms, gabriel had always interested him as a person. 'so whats next?' he asked gabriel in his mind

((Holy crap I missed a lot…sorry for this late post!! And sorry if my post doesn’t really ‘fit’ perfectly with all of your guys’, I’m just going to kinda rush this post, so I don’t hold this thing back ^^ …baah, I’m so busy with grad ….))
Several people she didn’t recognize ran past her. Things were getting hectic. That familiar feeling of ‘something bad is going to happen, turn back now’ rushed over her. Of course, Reira being Reira couldn’t stop her feet from proceeding forward. Before she knew it she was standing just a little ways off from Gabriel. She wanted to be by Matrim, but to do that she would have to move around Gabe…and call it female intuition, but she wasn’t getting good vibes from him right now.
Obviously these people were mad. Again obviously, at Gabriel. Why? Well she didn’t know at first, but as she remained quiet and listened, it appeared that he was trying to collapse the Pillars, aka Matrim. An irritated look on her face, she continued to listen to everyone speak, not thinking she played a significant role in the situation. And so, she remained quiet, a shadow behind the others.
Then Gabriel’s gaze locked on her. Reira stiffened. Whereas a few minutes ago no one was paying attention to her, now it felt as if all the stares were directed at her. Great. “Gabriel, you’re being a--” Her sentence was unfinished as she felt Gabriel’s arm rush out to grab her and bring her back to him. Her right hand clenched as she brought her arm back to swing at his cheek, until she felt him place his own hand on her stomach. Immediately she faltered in her attack and a scared look replaced her previous one.
He wouldn’t…!!
But it occurred to her that yes, he would. She was the bait. She realized now that all that time he spent in pretending he was her friend, only to use her for this moment. How foolish she was to have not noticed it until now…now that Gabriel had spilled his desires in front of his audience. My my, wasn’t she the main attraction. But what could she do? She felt helpless. If she even made one move he’d hurt her child. It was a thought she couldn’t bare to see come true. Then there was Matrim. She hated to make him go through something like this. It always had to happen to them, didn’t it? Things just never seemed to stay peaceful for them, like fate was shunning them for being together.
Reira almost couldn’t look when Matrim dropped to his knees. Here she was again, making him go through so much pain. It was just like last time…when she was the reason behind him splitting his mind. She looked at him them, her eyes telling him how sorry she was. Then he mention something about letting ‘him’ out. Her eyes widened, knowing full well what the hell was going to happen next.
“No..don’t..”
Too late, Alpha was free. The look on his face proved it. All the memories of him came rushing back, particularly those of how much she hated him and how he made her life miserable. Even though she didn’t want to even speak to him, there were more important things right now, like saving her child.
“Do it Alpha. Do whatever you need to do.”
Now it was all a matter of time, choices everyone there made, and making their moves. As for Reira, well, she wouldn‘t let Gabriel win… With a sudden movement, she tried to escape from his grasp, only to have his hand come to life with electricity. She sent him a deathly glare, which was answered with him constricting her airway. Both of her hands tried to pry her neck free, but she only ended up making the choking sensation worse. Her vision was getting blurry from the lack of oxygen…she was lucky he was letting just enough pass through.
"Please, stay the way you are... I will not harm you even if they kill me."
Fucking asshole!

All the speeches, all the words, every little thing was ignored. Every person in the room didn't exist aside from Gabriel, Reira, and Alpha. Hell, even Gabriel was muted, all the focus was on the girl who had just said the magic words. Reira was out of the hated list as far as Alpha was conerned because of the very statement that came from her mouth. “Do it Alpha. Do whatever you need to do.”And then he dumped her ass, punched her in the stomach, pulled her hair, and finished with a fancy double flip down the nearest flight of stairs. The world rejoiced. They were rid of the evil witch of the west. ! .... Uhm.... no Alpha....Awwwww! Fucking buzzkill.... oh fine I guess I'll save her ass..... AGAIN.....Ok, so maybe some anger was still there. But right now? she had given him the green light, and that was all he needed. "Hey Fucktard..... how fast can you do your little tri-"Alpha was already off, going as quickly as possible he would run at the two, jumping into the air he grabbed the metallic arm with both hands, jumping up he donkey kicked Gabriel at the side and the side of his head, he was using the strength in his arms and legs, using every bit of smarts he had along with experience taking apart limbs from bodies... *cough aternity cough*, they came off easier than one might expect. Effectively Matrim will have attempted to rip off his actual physical left arm, while simultaneously attempting to break Gabriel's neck with the heel of his foot. This quick attempt would end with Matrim letting go, dropping and rolling around to Gabriel's back side where he would roll up, grab the base of his right arm and attempt to rip that metal bit off as well before Gabriel could react. He may be fast.... ....but Alpha knew he was smart enough to at least dislocate a limb, give one hell of a stiff neck and still manage to tear off a metal arm at the very least. Especially considering how much experience he had with metal limbs. Still shoulda at least made fun of Reira....No, A, just.... no....This kid better take after Matrim in the whole not-getting-kidnapped genes....

Stu was there, having arrived and watched on the sidelines. He watched as Gabriel pulled out his bluff, attempting to get the pillar to step down and relinquish his title to Gabriel without a protracted fight.
He also saw as the Pillar immediately shot forwards. Stu acted then.
He knew he stood no chance going toe to toe with the boy, but that's why he brought out the Super shotty. The smart thing would be to aim it at Matrim and fire, knowing fully well that at their relatively short distance that most of the pellets would hit, combined with the boy not exactly paying any attention to anything other than Gabriel, the devastating effect might be enough to knock him out if not away from Gabriel.
Stu however was going the crazy route. He rushed up behind Reira, and aimed the shotgun right to her side, pressing the cool smooth barrel against her stomach.
"Stop. Or I'll fire. And I hold less moral convictions than Gabriel does."
This was no bluff. He wouldn't hesitate to fire into the pregnant girl's stomach. The fact that she was pregnant at this age disgusted Stu, but the fact that harm would come to Gabriel disgusted him more.
Only Stu was allowed to hurt Gabriel, only Stu.
Stu's left arm would attempt to snake around the girl's neck and hold her hostage. Should she attempt to get away... the trigger would be pulled. And so would end the life of another person.

“hatred….yes, ….dishonesty…yes…but what is the result of destruction in this never ending cycle…the result of war….? The answer is simple …and that is why human heart longs for conflict…”
Her whisper would go unheard above the crowd of angry people. Here Bastille stood on top the bell tower, leaning dangerously over almost to the point of falling. She saw Blaze struggling, her heart wrenched a bit, but her curiosity kept her from jumping six stories down to him…also a tad bit of common sense that even a agent of her caliber would surely obtain some injury after that fall regardless of skill.
Her silver hair, as it always did when her qi was activated, grew in wisps to her waist, glimmering in the sun. Her blond bangs spread across her face and her crimson eyes seemed to grow colder and darker. Her attire was a pair of black jeans, converse, a black corset, black long sleeve shirt and her bomber jacket. Her swords lay strapped to her numerous belts but her hand only rested on them, no intention to pull either out of their hilt.
“he is blind to reason, blind to the ending…blinded…but by what? this I long to see play out…it should be interesting” she spoke softly again as if to herself.
“all he is, Is a downright idiot…don’t let your blood thirst get in the way…the outcome is simple…he will fall, long and hard…but perhaps” again to herself
“he will grow from it…” the wisps of smoke faded quickly in the breeze.
“damn French” she remarked shortly and then almost turned back. It was some of the students who made her turn back around. Regardless of weather or not she might choose to involve herself…she would wait, this would likely turn to be interesting….Gabriel holding some girl…that obviously held importance for Matrim.
She leaned further out into the sun, her eyes narrowing in a soft way to look upon the crowd again. Emotion was void from her face. Her hair blowing out in front of her. She took the cigarette from her mouth and dropped it towards the ground. The fire would blow out completely before it destroyed itself on the ground…would anyone pick up the ashes? Or would those ashes blow in the wind to create a tree off in the distances?
“creation…ah yes….creation.”

The boy Ethan stood between Gabriel and Connor. Like Connor was that much of a threat to Gabriel. Connor had activated his Qi long ago, and the boy who stood between them was not as powerful as the others. He even had the nerve to speak so only Connor could hear. Without knowing what Connor had been through in his other school, what Connor had done to try to gain peace, he spoke about not knowing what sacrifice is.
Then he had the nerve to tell him to stand down. Connor removed his shades, his eyes actually glowing. "Not a chance."
He knew who his first opponent would be. "You have the audacity to tell me that I don't know about sacrifice?" His anger grew. His voice grew louder, enough that all would hear. "When you're attacked and actually crucified for trying to preserve peace, then talk to me about knowing sacrifice." He locked on to Ethan. The boy was going down.
When Gabriel spoke about remaining pure or tainting yourself, Connor replied, though he had not turned to his teacher. "Regardless what you do, you don't use an innocent as a shield. There is always another way." As Matrim moved, so did Connor, though their targets were different. Connor charged forward, and at the last second, he dropped. He had used this tactic before, but only when sparring Sara.
Once he dropped, he would modify the attack. He struck out with both fists as hard as he could, while bracing himself with his left leg behind his right. The attack would be aimed at Ethan's gut. Whether hit or miss, Connor would stand. He was using all at his disposal to not loose his target.
Connor would let others worry about each other. He knew he would likely have to deal with Gabriel at some point. But, Connor couldn't abandon his morals. It wasn't in him. He was still faced off against Ethan.
"You wanted to play body guard?" His tone was less than gentle. The wolf was ready to be unleashed. "Come on, then."
But, there was little fight that might come. Apparently, there was an ace in the hole, one that Connor couldn't foresee. A boy, with a gun, and one that was apparently on Gabriel's side. The side, Connor... was on? Was still on? The whole thing was very confusing. The boy was quickly at the girl's side, opposite Gabriel, and pointed the deadly firearm at the girl. No, not just her, but the belly holding the unborn child.
Connor stepped back, still holding his stance. He had returned to Emily's side. Connor had no idea what to do. The gears in his mind turned quickly, but no solution had come to him. He didn't want to risk the girl being harmed, and the death of either her, or her child.
This was your grand plan, Gabriel? This? How is this going to bring peace? Connor's mind poured over these questions that didn't leave his lips. He spoke quietly to Emily, enough that she might hear, but other's would not. "Tell me... tell me you have a plan." He had tears forming in his eyes. He hated for innocent people to suffer, and he didn't want anyone to get hurt. The scene... well, this was one of those times he was glad to be blind.
"What can be done?"

"Regardless what you do, you don't use an innocent as a shield. There is always another way."
"Ha!" Scoffed Ethan. "And that is why you still know nothing. A sacrifice is what it is, whether it's your life or anothers. Or are you too weak to stomach what is so necessary for victory?" Ethan grew tired of this small talk. He raised a hand and gave a challenging gesture in Connor's direction, figuring that Connor had somehow gained the gift of sight from some sort of Qi, seeing as his eyes under the removed shades suddenly glowed with a green intensity. "You may be blind now, but you'll be seeing red before I'm finished with you."
Ethan seemed to have gotten a reaction from his newfound opponent, as Connor now rushed forward and charged him. Hmph. No sense of strategy. Ethan thrust out a quick jabbing kick to knock back his attacker, but at the last possible second Connor ducked down low from the kick and thrust out both fists, catching Ethan in the central upper torso region. If Ethan hadn't reflexively responded to the sudden change of movement, he might have taken the hit completely.
Bending back from the impact of the fists, he flew back and landed in a graceful backflip a few feet away, a wolfish and disturbingly dark grin lighting his normally dull features. He'd enjoy bringing this simpering little disabled wretch to heel.
Now that the Captain had engaged Gabriel and one of the latter's other men had leveled a gun at Reira, chaos ensued among the mass of students. Groups of people charged at each other from both sides and major mobs of brawling ensued. Keeping Conner Dwyre within his line of sight, Ethan actually ran in a perimeter circling around him, moving in between students rushing, punching and falling around him, intending for Conner to lose track of where he was. The fool already seemed plenty distracted by the drama of what was happening with the pregnant hostage and how to respond. This would be too easy.
Ethan would emerge from a crowd behind the redheaded fighter, jumping out with a flying fist aimed at the side of Conner's head. Following up with that shattering strike, Ethan would feint off to the side and fly into a furious barrage of punches at Conner, laying as many blows as fast as he could. He knew this opened him up to a potential counter if this Conner was a skilled combatant, but Ethan aimed to overwhelm him with sheer offense. Ethan wanted to see what he was capable of.
