The board game was all set up. The school was his stage to act upon to mend to his will, soon enough he'd be able to direct his own piece but for now he was just the actor. But in his mind he could play the pieces with one another causing them to crash. That was the plan all along wasn't it? To crash...
Gabriel sat at a stone table. Pieces of ivory laid strewn across the table, it was a chess game. This scene was all too familiar to that of another scene not to long ago. Though this time things would be different, a humbled ego Gabriel carried around like a crutch left him more concerning than it once had been. He could not down play Matrim as simply some big dumb oaf he had to see him as a threat. A foe. To defeat at whatever means.
"Matrim Gallagher!" Gabriel exclaimed loudly in the courtyard.
"I challenge you in contestation for your title!"
He resumed his seat once the words were exclaimed. A wry grin on his face now he could come off as either far too cocky or even a bit beguiled for the scar from his previous loss to the man. In someway he was still scared, he didn't take kindly to losing. And grudges don't die easily.
Though something resonated in his jacket pocket a small dark phone. This would be his key. The board game would expand to become more than just a battle for the board game but a much larger scale he'd play. Gabriel certainly had a thing for the theatrics.

"I challenge you in contestation for your title!"
Matrim was sleeping on the grass, he looked over at Gabriel with one eye, he was quite a distance away from the kid, but he noticed that the kid was sitting down? Or something?
"If you want to challenge me for the title it's an actual fight or no dice. Meaning, I'll beat the shit out of you and this will be over with. If you want, we can make it a daily routine," Matrim said, not leaving his spot on the grass, "Also, you'll have to come over here, because... well to be honest. If you want to fight me, you got to come to me. Otherwise, you're a coward and you aren't even worth my time. Got it?"
Matrim let out a yawn as he charged his Qi, he knew his new trick. He could take on several people thanks to certain advantages he had.

Gabriel laughed in a mocking tone. His eyes glared at the captain lazing on the ground a few feet away, how could he have missed him? No matter it didn't change a thing. A creeping grin etched its way across his face with curious intent. Gabriel wouldn't be the one that had to move apparently Matrim had no idea what the purpose of the hierarchy was, he was to defend his title... so long as Gabriel called claim to it he could have it the Captain needed to defend his title.
"You obviously don't understand the situation here do you, this fight is on my terms so I don't think you have the flexibility to decide how this turns out." He let out a small laugh again still calm within his seat, "You will be the one to come over here."
Gabriel slouched back slipping his hands into his pockets one hand grazing over the buttons of the phone. Each had been labeled in Braille the night before so that he could read it without having to look. His buttons danced over the ones in particular referring to P.
His thumb hit P 1-8 activating their messages (ooc: Through PM), along with B1-2, as for the kn he'd leave for the time being. He'd time this correctly if anything at all. His plan would go through, all was secret nothing had even been revealed to the honor guard quite yet.
"How about we keep this civil?" That same devious smile it urged and taunted him hoping he'd make a false move.

Sara looked down at the phone in her hand. She smiled softly. This was it, it was starting. How nice... She had been waiting for this for so long now. To long. But at least it was finally here. This was going to be interesting. If they only knew... The thought made her chuckle softly as she pushed off the wall she had been leaning against and began making her way down the hall. Oh what tangled webs we weave...
They had no idea. None of them. This was going to be so much fun <3 She turned down another hall as she re read the text once more. Simple enough to complete this job. Heh... She leaned against the wall next to the intercom room. Time to start.
She clicked the menu button the cell phone and scrolled down. Forward Text. Perfect. She pressed the send button, chose her contact, and then off the text went~ Easy peasy lemon squeezy~
She laughed softly as she leaned her head back against the wall to wait.

Pre-ignition
Matrim was just about to get up when his phone buzzed, he pulled it out and opened it to read the text from Sara.
Sara, Your mission is to get to the intercom system and report the fact that there are breakouts of riots across the school. Also I'd like you to cut the power and once you've finished report to point B in order to create a more effective damage spread. Remember this is where we break them...
Matrim laughed and texted back....
Sara, your mission... is to do whatever the fuck you want. Basically, don't do what he asked you to, make sure nobody does it... and if there are riots, go end them for me. Even if that involves kicking everyone's ass, stop the riots. That is, if your up to it. If you have a better idea, go ahead and do that as well. Thanks partner,
Matrim
Matrim stood up, "So....."
Ignition
"Your plan.... was to... start riots in the school. Do something to cause me to either... leave the fight making you the winner, or sacrifice the well being of the students... correct? Or maybe I'm slightly off, possibly something a lot more retarded."
Matrim laughed, "You insignificant little dipshit I could end your life in five minutes flat and stop these students from so much as getting a single broken bone by ending the fighting shortly after. I mean seriously, what's the point in alarming students that there are riots and turning off the power? Causing widespread panic? Get a day off of classes? You must not know......."
Matrim charged, "The type of enemy I can become....."
Matrim would close in on Gabriel and deliver a straight left Jab aimed for Gabriel's nose, pressing off his left foot as he did this he would duck low and land on his right foot off to Gabriel's left slightly and ram the elbow of his left arm straight for Gabriel's ribcage, his entire arms and legs on fire.

Gabriel stood to applaud him with a smooth grin on his face certainly he would have expected quite as much. Good thing this time around he'd suspected Matrim to be an adequate foe. Still it made little difference in the end. Gabriel had planned this to perfection and he'd have no defeat this time around. Though he'd hoped for a little bit of trust he scoffed at the notion of it. He always knew Sara would prove troublesome. Her failure was his gain now he could weed out the weak members.
"Kill me? ahh I think you're taking this a bit too personally perhaps I should even the playing field a bit don't you think?" Gabriel flashed a wide grin as the man leapt towards him across the table hands enflamed.
He didn't have the time to do one over the other so he had to choose; long run gain or short run? He stuck with the long run, this would prove to be his end goal. Hand slid into the coat pocket mashing two more buttons activating his reinforcements.
Now things would prove interesting. He took a flaming punch in the shoulder in a belated attempt to dodge. His shoulder scaring the ground, fragmented pieces of ivory pieces scattering about like shrapnel. Gabriel hit the floor and ran toward the nearest building, time to buy time till... Plan B.
An evil grin enveloped on his face as he hit the stairs quickly turning to watch the chaos. He was still in this merely trying for a new tactic.

-18 hours earlier-
Matrim was confronted by a student and given an envelope, sealed with wax.... a fire like seal on it. Matrim laughed, and tore it open, reading the paper.....
"Hey kid...." Matrim said, scribbling a note and handing it to the kid, "Give this to whoever told you to give this to me. Tell them it's a reply."
-now-
Gabriel took one of the hits and went down, running off after doing something with his coat pocket. Matrim wasn't sure exactly, but considering that he pretty much had an idea of what was happening, he slowly followed, along the way he visited the flag pole grabbing the rope that lead up to the flag, it set aflame, and the flag was soon scorching as he went after Gabriel. Was it reckless? Yes... but Matrim couldn't worry about that now.
"Don't know what he means by evening the playing field..." Matrim muttered to himself, bits of clothing burned away off of him, the sleeves of his shirt, the legs of his pants, the shoes he had been wearing at the time, "Oh well. Let's see what the kid cooked up....."
Matrim would enter the building and call out, "If you run away from a fight it's still a loss. So guess what, either face me or admit defeat and we're done with this fight."

The phone in her hand beeped. She smiled and looked down at it. Perfect timing. She read the text quickly and laughed to herself.
Thanks partner, Matrim
Good man. This was to easy really. Gabriel should have seen it coming. Meaning he also probably planned ahead just in case. No problem. Sara could take on all those little toys he was using as pawns. There were a few that would be problems, but nothing major. She could do this.
She pushed off the wall and turned to the door. Far to easy. She snapped the lock to the door and pushed it open. If she wasn't going to do her part, NO ONE WAS >D HAHA
She walked over the PA system and looked at the... crap. The wires, the microphones, the pretty little toys. And then she smashed them. SARA SMASH =D
She grab a hold of a bunch of wires and pulled them out, ripping them out of their connections. Then she pulled the machine off its table, letting it drop to the floor with a loud bang. Then she kicked it, slammed her foot down on it, effecting breaking it. The top popped off and the destroyed as best she could what was inside it. She snapped the microphones apart, rendering them useless. She nodded in satisfaction, and then left the room. She was done here.
It was time to go handle some of the other little pawns.

And so the grenade had been tossed.
Right into a pile of explosive barrels teeming with dynamite, nitroglycerin, C4. Maybe add a few other small things in there, and all of a sudden you got the recipe for a massive explosion, or an epic fight between Matrim Gallagher and Gabriel Seran. Oh the humility. Alright, not really, but when you had dreams of a fight this epic, you tended to show up to watch.
Not only that, but there was more. Her initial prediction had changed the arrival date of Jonathan, and not only that, but there was a flag burning in said dream, which might be consistent with Matrim burning it...or something like that. Those fools, fighting for something that already existed in the world. Silly. Oh so silly.
Yeah, Thirteen was in one of her moods...
No, it wasn't that.
"What are you two knuckleheads fighting about again?"
She asked, walking out into the courtyard in full robes. She knew exactly what they were fighting about...think of it more as a test, you know, to see if they actually knew. Either way, drinking her smoothie, she stayed out of the way, but close enough to know what was going on.
People were going to break things...oh fun.

"Reira, Matrim is trying to have me killed I need you to come help calm him down he's lost his mind..."
The hell…?
The message she had received from Gabriel was very confusing. She didn’t know if she wanted to believe him or not. In fact, she went over all the reasons why she shouldn’t. Of course, all those reason came with oppositions that only further confused her. Like how Matrim’s mind had split into Alpha and Beta in the past. In the end, she decided to go check it out. Not because she believed in Gabriel’s words, but because she was just worried.
Opening her locker, she placed her books inside and slammed it shut. Once that was done, she rushed out of the building, cursing several people that got in her way. Before she even got outside, she stopped and glanced out a window. She had a perfect view of the courtyard and--
Why is Matrim burning a flag? Hehe maybe he really did lose his mind!
With an amused smile on her face, she continued down the hallway to the nearest exit. She knew where Matrim was, but where was Gabriel? Wasn’t he the one who texted her saying things about how her fiancé was going to kill him? Maybe he was the one who was going crazy. Rolling her eyes, she was just about to leave the building when she heard footsteps approach her from behind.

The black phone in Ethan's pocket gave a silent vibration while he sat behind a computer in the Science Department. Pulling it out, the slightest hint of a smile emerged in the corners of his mouth as he read the message.
Now was the time.
Preparations had been an all-day affair for Ethan once he'd been informed of the plan (ooc: via pm). Since school first opened, he'd spent time hooking up his hacking software to the computer he was working on now. With some help over the phone from one of his contacts among the people he served, he now had several systems within the building he was in rigged to do some very destructive things.
Ethan had at first asked his Lord for His Power in coercing an uprising among the faculty after updating Him on the situation, but was rejected. The Master still was far from the stage of revealing Himself, thus Ethan was to act on his own.
After the information on the computer was synchronized with his software, Ethan hit the Enter Key, readying himself for the ensuing chaos.
Suddenly, all around him other peoples' computers started short-circuiting and shooting out sparks while Ethan sat calmly in his chair. Students and staff members started freaking out and shouting as machinery set on fire and the lights abruptly went out, the only light source being the blue sky outside and the spreading flames of the computers. Ethan smiled to himself again as he'd made sure the emergency equipment had been thrown out in a dumpster so no one would be able to prevent the fires from being taken care of.
Ethan slipped out quietly before it occured to the other idiots in the room to flee as the fire alarm sounded off throughout the Science Department. Looking at his watch, Ethan counted down the seconds until his device set off several other crucial circuits within the building.
3 2 1
Ethan ducked out of the way of a wire catching on fire and shooting out bits of shrapnel, much like he'd seen Gabriel himself do with his Qi power. The flames on the wires would spread very fast throughout the hallways in a matter of minutes until the building itself would be consumed in various fires. You wanted a riot, Gabriel? Here you go...
Ethan flipped on his phone and looked up a number he had been provided with on the black phone. He was supposed to have help from someone else named TJ. He'd wait somewhere safe on the first floor for either a Pillar to arrive or his backup, whichever came first.

David took a deep breath, regret coursing through his veins for what he knew must happen. He was once friends with the young Seran, and had forged an alliance with him when the times had called for it. He didnt want this for him. He truly didn't.
But he knew it must be done.
-a few minutes earlier-
David's eyes shot to the window, a large, gaping pole made of pure flame signalling the call. He flipped open his phone and sent quick texts to those whom he knew would answer.
'It is time. Come to the Flame. Our hour is upon us.'
-Present-
David, though the explosion was obvious, kept his attention where he was. This is what needed to be resolved.
David stepped from the shadow of a side hallway, coming into view directly to the side of Gabriel and Matrim, about fifteen feet away. His eyes were hard and steeled- he knew what he must do. He didn't look to Matrim for her knew that Matrim already understood why he was there. He had asked for him, after all. He took a deep breath as he kept his gaze on Gabriel. He made the breath he took loud and obviously audible, like an over-exaggerated sigh though the feelings behind it were real.
"I am sorry for this, Gabriel. I really am." He cracked his neck.
His voice was calm before, and now it turned to a deep statement of fact, holding in it a finality.
"But nobody is coming to help you."
He would give Matrim a nod to go ahead and finish it. Though Gabriels defeat may not totally end it all, it would be a step.
If you cut the head off a snake...
Well, i don't think you need me to finish that analogy.

The school was in flames.
That was it.
Emily slid her phone shut, the message from David still on there as it locked and was placed on her pockets. There was a history of messages within her phone right now that showed that Emily wasn't happy. Soon after her devastating conversation with Gabriel, Emily had contacted Matrim to confirm everything. It turns out, her hunches were correct.
If anything, Emily trusted Matrim more than Gabriel at the moment. The scars were there to prove it. Her scarf was wrapped tightly by her neck, hiding it. Emily was by the window of the administration building, looking down onto Matrim, David and Gabriel. "What was it you were saying about a democracy mmm, Gabriel?" She said, "Does democracy involve blowing up things? Last time I checked, it didn't."
Well, Emily only assumed that Gabriel did it. I mean, look at all the timing of this? It was shouting "Ph34r m3h!" all over, which made Emily roll her eyes in sarcastic fear.
Emily yawned, jumping down from the second floor onto several pillars that led down. It was designed like that to be some sort of fire escape besides a really good lawn ornament, but apparently this BBQ was going to be burning things down. "... and last I checked, challenges to the pillarship required a one-on-one fight. Theatrics aren't needed here."
There was that side of Emily again.
In the meanwhile, she adjusted her gloves to fit her better. This was going to be a war, isn't it?

Connor was in class. He heard the hum of power go out. His phone went off. It was time.
No one would have suspected Connor would be involved. Connor was the quiet one. The 'good' kid. However, he had his assignment. and right now, it seemed like the game was on. He had no idea Sara was playing a different side. They had talked, and Connor really liked her. If it came down to it, he doubted he could bring himself to fight her right now. His own life was too confusing to deal with at the moment.
He moved, needing to find a way to get to Gabriel. Something told him that things were not alright. Though, he didn't know the full plan. Gabriel was tactical. Connor only hoped he knew what he was doing. I am to distract and help fight. Hopefully we'll be alright enough. Sara, I could use your help, too.
He knew where Gabriel would be. It was the others he didn't know to expect. His shades on, it helped hide the fact that he had activated his Qi. He would definitely be needing it. He found Gabriel, and others as well. He recognized the voices of two of them. Matrim, and Emily.
The school. He had managed to make it outside, though the explosion wasn't something he expected wither. He just was thankful he had made it out alright, and that he had covered his ears to avoid lasting damage from the noise.
He could tell by the aura's that he was not as strong or as powerful as the others. How Gabriel expected Connor to be of much help was beyond him. But, it was a little late for second guessing now.
His cane in hand, he grinned. "Sorry if I'm a little late." At the very least, his presence would have shocked Emily or Matrim. They had met him earlier. Connor had even spent some time with Emily after school. Why would they expect the blind kid to show up?
"You know, you could have warned me about this." He indicated the school. He was hoping, if nothing else, that his talking might stall things. Enough for the plan to go off without a hitch. "Was the explosion really necessary?"

Stu sat in the canteen. He wasn't normally seen there, nor really on school property ever. In fact, he wasn't even a student, was he?
Regardless. He knew the janitors; they had helped him evacuate some of the wounded after the color incidents. He nodded at them, and they left their stations, a few students asking where they were going. Stu recieved the message soon thereafter. He flipped open his phone, read the instructions. He was already in place. The man of a million affiliations stood, and pulled the gun from its holster inside his shirt.
And that's when Stu jumped into action. Students scattered, running about. They would find the doors locked, another bonus from the janitors. They were stuck inside the canteen, the Food Cooperative, held there by the Janitors who owed Stu a favor. Stu fired the gun, a blank, filled with a noisemaker.
All eyes turned to him. He smiled devilishly at them all.
"This school is now under the control of the Black Knights. We are one and we are all. We are here to show this school that it doesn't need that corrupt group of pillars to run things.
And you're all our allies. Who here has tried to get away with something only to be suppressed by the pillars? Who here was wrecked by one of them? Almost everyone, and anyone who hasn't knows someone who has.
We dream of a much more open system; we dream of one without the oppressiveness. Now go my friends, and spread like wildfire. Tell your friends...
There's a revolution going on."
He may have lied. It didn't matter. What mattered was that they were either now too scared to get in the Black Knight's way, or full of revolutionary spirit.
Others would be cast aside, with much fervor.
Stu ordered the doors unlocked, and the students scattered, some immediately getting into fights, others running around trashing the food co-op. Stu promised to pay the janitors back, though they personally hadn't paid for anything and as such it was free money for them.
Stu stepped off the table, and looked around for P7. He couldn't find him, but this didn't concern him; he had no real connections besides Gabriel. He got another text...
They were to meet. So be it.
Stu ran towards where Gabriel said he'd be. He only hoped he got there in time... lest he be injured upon arrival.
