(Specs welcome.)
"Thank you maam."
The lunch lady smiled warmly. They werent used to an individual acknowledging thanks for thier food, so it was a welcome comodity. They were growing to like him, he knew, and he was happy for that. they were actually nice people, though they acted tough because of the populace and what would happen to them, or could happen to them, if they showed thier were actually softies. He took his seat at a table, eating quickly. today was full and busy, and things just hadnt gone well for him from the moment he woke up. Not only did he fall out of his bed this morning, but he was late, so his shower was hurried.
Of course, because of that, he forgot to rinse his hair.
SO.
Once he went to the locker room amidst laughter and washed his hair in the showers there, he went to class, only to remember that he was suppose to finish his homework this morning but didnt because he woke up too late.
Now, of course, was no the end of his tragedy of a day. After eating, he walked happly away from his table, getting drink and barreling headlong around a corner into an unsuspecting person, spilling a drink all over them..
'DAMMIT!'
He held out his hands.
"Woah, sorry man. Want me to get you some napkins?"

What the fu-
The thought came to Cain like a bolt and despite its processing speed, it was still cut off as Cain came to realised what had happened. His body felt cold suddenly, and his shirt was sticking to his body. Considering that he was wearing a dress shirt, it stuck perfectly well to his torso. He stared at it for a moment, before raising his head, his hazel eyes peering through from under his blue fringe as he stared at the man. Normally, Cain would not be so pissed, but he had woken up on the wrong side of the bed that day. And also, if it had been water, he would have probably shrugged it off, but it had been apple juice. OOC: Assuming.
And apple juice was very, very sweet.
"Woah, sorry man. Want me to get you some napkins?"
Cain looked at the man for a moment, unsure of how to take the apology. This had not been the first time this had happened. The last time it did, the man had merely laughed and even joked about it, labelling Cain 'Fresh Meat'. True, he was knew here, but had he not proven himself enough to no longer be considered as fresh meat? True, he had a lot of losses thus far, but he had his share of dominant moments too. Cain sighed, unable to find himself to lash out at him, though... Or maybe...
"... Tell you what, let's have a little spar? If I win, you'll go get those napkins and clean up my shirt. But if you win, I'll pay for your next lunch. What do you say?"

David cocked an eyebrow in surprise.
A spar?
It wasn't often someone just randomly asked him to pay for what he did with a fight, but then again he was used to be around people who actually cared about him or knew who he was. Besides, it wasn't like he was anywhere near his full capabilities anyway, so he doubted most people even felt him a threat. He felt a little unsure though- someone who just popped out with a fight offer must either have a serious attitude or feel extremely confident. He shrugged, setting the can on a table before turning around and facing the kid.
"Alright, deal." He glanced around. "Did you want to do this here or somewhere else?"
David didn't mind- he had a little while to burn before his next actual class period. Having only two or three classes per day was a gift. He waited for the boy to respond, cracking his knuckles as he made fists with them and relaxing his hands afterward.

"Alright, deal. Did you want to do this here or somewhere else?" "Here's fine with me."
Cain replied, a smirk on his face as he shifted his right foot back, reaching up as he unbuttoned the top few buttons of his shirt, not wanting it to hinder his movement as it stuck onto his body. At that, Cain raised his fists, that smirk replaced with a grin. No, he was not being confident here. He was being excited. Such could be seen from his body as it shivered slightly, as if unable to wait for this fight to start. His opponent then proceeded to prepare himself with the unloosening of his knuckles, the motion producing soft cracking sounds.
"Before we start, though, let's be sure we're on good terms. My name's Cain Alexander."
He introduced himself, his brief expression of excitement and bloodthirst replaced with honest hospitality and cheer, as if completely unaware of what was going to take place the moment one of them started to run at the other. Oh boy, this was going to be so much fun.

David unbuttoned the clasps of his dress shirt at the wrists, the cufts coming apart easily as he began to roll them up smoothely. It had been a long time since he had fought for something other than defense or politics. this was just a fight for fighting, a brawl between two boys for something of truly little worth. David didnt feel like he had anything to prove- he had shown himself to all who stepped forward. If this newcomer- this Cain- wanted something from the young Blaze he would have to first prove himself to be worthy. It may be cocky or arrogant in his mind, but he didnt think he had to show off what he brought to the table. Fighting was and always would be a big part of who he was, of the reputation he carried.
He smiled, knowing that there were some who would recognize him from 259 and still others who he had yet to show his prowess to. He put his left foot back, showing opposite balance shift. He kept both his hands at his sides, a calm and friendly look in his eyes. He didnt want any hostility between them either, but he also knew that the time was ripe for him to begin remaking and reforging his name, so instead of giving this kid his name he gave a small incline of his head to indicate he heard the boy.
"It will be an honor to fight you Cain." He grinned broader. "Do not take it personally, but i will give my name at the conclusion of this fight, if you don't mind."
It was a standard tactic he employed when he first began fighting- it made people recognize and remember your name, when, after a fight you have won, you gave your name. Thats not to say David was totally concieted and felt himself the obvious victor- as with any battle, he went into it not knowing the outcome, and he would be wary. Even if he lost he would give his name- it would bolster this boys reputation he knew, and if David lost then this kid would deserve it. He chucked up his chin, as if to indicate that he was ready and he would allow this boy to start off the contest of strength, speed and skill.
He felt a knot in his stomach.
Anticipation.
He was eager for this battle to begin.
OOC((Sorry for taking so long to reply. i will be more timely in the future.))

"Whatever rocks your chair, friend."
Cain replied with that excited smirk of his, his right fist clenching a little tighter as the feeling of excitement urged him forward, the calling so hard that soon enough, the blue-haired junior was unable to help himself. Sliding his right foot back, he would lift his heel up, resting it on his toes, before throwing his whole body forward, the junior scaling the distance between them in a mere second. His clenched right fist would snap forward after cocking itself by his right cheek, the flesh weapon swinging in an arc as a right hook, aiming for his opponent's left cheek.
He would pull his left arm back to his chest, ready to counter whatever his opponent would throw back at him, knowing that this being the first strike, it was definitely going to fail in finding its target. Cain's right foot would be in front, his left leg placed behind him, his thigh muscles tensing as he readied to swing his left leg forward hard onto David's left waist.
And so, the fight had begun.

David didnt respond after Cain spoke- there was nothing left more to say. He waited as the boy coiled his body and launched forward, throwing his body toward David to begin the assault. Kids around them had moved a couple tables and chairs from out of the way to give a little room, only about fifteen feet in every direction. David turned his body forward as the kid moved toward him, shifting his entire stance in seconds. He did it at the moment of attack- lowering his body as the boys cocked fist flew, bringing his head under the arm at the elbow. Now his stance was nuetral, legs a little over shoulder width apart. His right hand would snap up and grab Cains arm just above elbow just before he completed his movement (just to make sure the kid didnt bring the arm back as people were wont to do when throwing a punch), holding it forcefully about three inches above Davids and a foot from his head.
His left hand moved to a point, one that might be used in styles such as crane or snake in Kung Fu. It flew upwards as well, the peaked fingertips hard and ready to damage. Thier target? The Armpit. David knew that in that area was a large cluster of nerves, and using little force to that area would cause discomfort. He, however, would be putting as much power as he could get behind his blow at that distance, his point being to injure the mobility of that right arm. If his blow connected, Cain wouldnm't just have serious discomfort in moving his arm, he would have sharp pain, and his arm from the elbow to the fingertips would flare and ache for hours.
The positives on his side was that his movements were quick- by keeping his limbs close to his body and making sure that the distances in which his extremities moved were short ones, it would be more difficult to avoid and hard to see. Of course, the negatives were that Cain would probably forsee something of this nature since, as all fighters knew, it was very rare that the first punch of a fight ever landed. Therefore, David would be cautious as he moved, making sure that as he ducked under that arm he kept his eyes on the shoulder for movement. Wouldnt want his opponent to pull a fast one on him, now would he?
