So here Min was, out in the city wanting to simply stroll around for the enjoyment of good ol' mother nature. It was unfortunate, however, when she saw a female around her age running out of a store with unpaid goods in her arms. How'd Min know they were unpaid? It was simple; an owner chased the girl out and was yelling, 'Thief! Thief!'... So, although Min preferred to stay out of other peoples' business, the owner looked at Min with pleading eyes, to which she found it hard to refuse. And that's why Min was now chasing after the female with pretty gosh darn speed, grabbing the girl by the wrist, jerking her forward to face Min. It was then when she started screaming for help, making Min look like a bad guy, when in reality, it was her who was bad. But the thing is, Min had already chased the girl a good couple of blocks, meaning no one around her had witnessed what the girl had actually done. Not only that, but the girl managed to drop most of the items she stole, which other people that had chased the girl along with her had picked up to return to the store. Get this. They all stopped chasing except Min, and now, she was in a place where she didn't even know.
But no one was helping the girl, no matter how much she cried for help. She was an extremely good actress, she'd give her that much, and it didn't help Min look like a good person when she punched the other girl in the face.
["SOMEONE, PLEASE HELP!"]
The only reason Min punched her in the face was because Min thought it would knock her out. Guess she wasn't strong enough, because it didn't happen. This was rather unpleasing to the young Korean, and...
Well, what do you know? Looks like a "saviour" came to help that girl after all.
Oh...goodie...

Jin Woo made his way down the avenue carrying a backpack filled with books, worksheets, and random paperwork he needed to have filled out. SAT prep items... something that all Korean kids must have gone through at one point in their lives. Finally having finished with his classes for the day, Jin Woo walked down the avenue hoping to buy some food. In hopes of possibly getting to stores a bit more quickly, Jin Woo took a different route this time than the one he took home almost every day. Several minutes after he had taken the "shortcut", Jin Woo heard screams of a girl off in the distance.
"Uhh... screaming? That can't be good", Jin Woo mumbled to himself as he found himself walking towards the noise. Why am I walking towards this? the boy thought to himself. Shouldn't I be going away from things like these conflicts?
Jin Woo walked for a minute or two before he could see the source of the noise. There appeared to be two girls of similar age standing next to each other with one grabbing the other's arm. One appeared to be trying to get away while the other held a firm grip on her hand and did not seem too keen to be letting her go.
"SOMEONE, PLEASE HELP!" one of the girls shouted as Jin Woo looked on at the scene unfolding before him.
Help? Is the girl getting attacked or something? the young boy thought as he slowly walked closer to the increasingly noisy scene. There appeared to be a few onlookers none of which appeared to have any idea of what was going on. No one else seemed to have much courage to do anything about it either. Just then, the girl holding onto the other's arm struck the screaming girl in the face hoping to knock her out. However, the only effect this had was to raise the level of noise th "helpless" girl was making. Obviously, Jin Woo hated loud noise and especially scene of a weaker person being attacked by a stronger individual. The boy quickly ran towards the scene and tried to prevent the Asian girl from causing any more harm than she had already done. Grabbing her free arm with his right hand Jin Woo attempted to get her attention
"What the hell are you doing hitting helpless people like that?"

"Oh, please, will you just shut the bloody hell up-"
First, she felt a hand grab at her free hand, to which Min responded as a form of threat, and therefore jerking herself immediately away from the boy, yet still kept a firm grip on the other girl. Next, she heard his words, but they went in one ear and out the other, because Young-Min was hella pissed off at this whole situation. She went out of her way to catch a thief for a mile or two, and right when she catches the stupid b*tch, she starts creating a ruckus by screaming for help. Help? Annoying brats like her made her cringe, and Min wasn't even sure why this girl was stealing from that store, considering the way she dressed. Which, by the way, made Min look more like a bad guy because she was wearing sweats and a hoodie - yes, even during the summer. Man, she looked like a thug in comparison.
"What the hell are you doing hitting helpless people like that?"
"Oye, if you don't know the full story, then f*ck off," she said, eyes glaring at the boy. It was probably a bad idea to swear at him, but considering that she was losing her patience?
It's not very feminine to swear, right? But Min? Feminine?
Feminine, my as$.

"Oye, if you don't know the full story, then f*ck off,"
Here Jin Woo was, trying to straighten things out while the Asian girl randomly cursed him out for trying to help out both of them. It seemed obvious to everyone who the bad person was. A girl with a hoodie and baggy pants who was beating up on some nicely dressed girl? Jin Woo fought against his initial reaction to stop the asian girl from hurting anyone and decided to go along and listen to her side of the story.
"Well... I guess I do give a f*ck so tell me the whole story"
Apparently, the entire time Jin Woo was there to try and make things better, the other girl held captive by Min did not seem to want to shut up. Jin Woo held his urge to hit the other girl in the face as he waited for Min's response.
"HELP ME SOMEONE!!! HURRY"
"DAMMIT SHUT THE F*CK UP NO ONE'S DOING ANYTHING RIGHT NOW"
What a sight it was, one girl dressed up thug-like, a boy who seemed to dress casually with slightly baggy pants and a fitting shirt, and another girl who dressed preppy screaming for her life. Anyone would think that the girl was caught up in a gang-member fight.

"Well... I guess I do give a f*ck so tell me the whole story."
"What the? No one asked if you gave a f*ck! I just said to f*ck off!" Min yelled in frustration, eyes piercing right into the boy. Man, if she didn't have to hold onto the little annoying brat then she would have punched his face in already, only because he was annoying her. Who the hell was he to meddle in someone else's business? And although he demanded to know the full story, the way he said it made Min want to choke him. Asking like that wouldn't get anyone anywhere, and his tone of voice actually only fed the flame. Not to mention, the girl's constant squeal for help was really pissing her up. Piece of sh...
"HELP ME SOMEONE!!! HURRY!"
"DAMMIT SHUT THE F*CK UP NO ONE'S DOING ANYTHING RIGHT NOW!" "SHUT THE F*(K UP!"
They both seemed to yell at the girl at the same time, which immediately shut her up. She turned her attention to the boy, eyes narrowing slightly.
"It isn't any of your business to know the story," Min hissed. With that, she would tighten her grip on the girl and literally drag her back in the direction of the store. The boy could choose to attack, but just know that Min usually never turns her back on threats - yeah, she considered him a threat - unless she had a plan formulating. He could attack her, but he better be ready for the consequences to follow.
"B!tch, you caused me way too much trouble," Min cursed.

"It isn't any of your business to know the story," the girl hissed at Jin Woo as she dragged the girl somewhere while keeping a close eye on him as well. Obviously, the girl felt threatened by Jin Woo and he could sense that she was being annoyed by his antics. A small grin started to play across his face as he decided that he would follow the two girls to where they came from.
"Well having come across such a scene and not do anything about it, now it would make me the bad person as well."
As Jin Woo said those words, he started to walk alongside Min and the girl she was dragging and waited for her response. Jin Woo knew what he was doing would aggravate her even more but decided that it may have been for the better.
((In Korean))
"Gap jagi jja-jeung mahn naego mohya" Jin Woo mumbled to himself as he kept a close watch on the Asian girl's movements. "Gyung chal ii boh myun mooseun saeng-gak hallago" He then chuckled wondering if the girl understood what he was saying
((Why the sudden outburst of anger... What would the police say if they saw all of this))

"Well having come across such a scene and not do anything about it, now it would make me the bad person as well."
"No, it wouldn't. It'd make you a pansy," Min retorted, ignoring the boy the best she could as she made her way slowly but surely towards the shop. She was irritated, tired, thirsty, sleepy, and...she was tired. Yes, the narrator realizes that tired was mentioned twice, but it was for emphasis. Min was especially sick of the girl trying to wriggle out of her grasp. Of course, if it were Min, she wouldn't stand still and just let someone drag her off somewhere either, especially if it were some stranger who just punched her in the face. But Min's grip was firm, and this girl was a p&ssy, so it wasn't that hard - just TIRING.
"Gap jagi jja-jeung mahn naego mohya.. Gyung chal ii boh myun mooseun saeng-gak hallago."
"Ya, 18nomah, nah dah ahrah dutkuhduhn," Min turned to face the boy who was annoyingly following them, glaring. "Mahl joshim hara. Sunbae ahntae bahnmahlee nahwuhnee?"

"No, it wouldn't. It'd make you a pansy,"
Slightly annoyed by that comment, Jin Woo merely replied with a disgruntled "Whatever..". He then noticed that the Asian girl, as tough as she acted, seemed quite exhausted to be dragging the struggling one all over the place.
"Ya, 18nomah, nah dah ahrah dutkuhduhn. Mahl joshim hara. Sunbae ahntae bahnmahlee nahwuhnee?"
The moment Jin Woo picked up the Korean words, he perked up and a smile began to play across his face. As Jin Woo was from Koreatown Los Angeles, he was not used to the lack of Korean being spoken on the streets. Rather, Korean seemed to be a rarity up in the northern part of the state. Therefore, every time Jin Woo heard his native language, the boy would perk up and become slightly happier.
"Ahni, suhnbae jii mohlat jana. Yul Neh saht jari gaht ji saengyut neuhn dae... Geuredo, hangook saram mahnnat seuni, bangawayo!"
((No, didn't know you were a "senior". You look like you're about fourteen. However, I'm glad to have met another korean person!))
Turning his eyes onto the struggling girl before them, Jin Woo decided to ask,
"So, why are you running away again?"

"Ahni, suhnbae jii mohlat jana. Yul Neh saht jari gaht ji saengyut neuhn dae... Geuredo, hangook saram mahnnat seuni, bangawayo!"
"What?!" Young-Min glared at the boy when he commented about her looking fourteen, but softened up when she heard the last part of his phrase. Yeah, Min also seemed to have a lighter mood when talking to others that were of the same ethnicity, unless that person was a super butt face. Then...not so much. And this guy wasn't a butt face at all; just a little annoying, with him tagging along. But she didn't blame him, since she was the one lookin' like a thug. It's just...she was too "preoccupied" at the time to explain - even if it were succinct - the situation. Anyway, she replied, her hostility levels dropping quite significantly.
"Eung, bangapda."
It was then when the boy decided to ask the dragging blonde a question, one which she wasn't answering. She looked away and clearly avoided the question, and Min realized that she gave up struggling and was now willingly following - for whatever reason.
"She stole a bunch of sh!t from a store and ran."
["You don't have proof!"]
"Oh shut up, the shop owner and like, fifty other people saw you, dumb broad. Who the hell taught you to steal? Must have been one dumb-a$s because you're stealing in daylight."

"She stole a bunch of sh!t from a store and ran."
"Ah... I see" replied Jin Woo as he eyed the neighborhood around him. It did not seem like a very friendly area as bunch of people started to leer and them. "These people are starting to creep me out a bit".

"Yeah, and I'm sure those people were not a part of this neighborhood. They seem a bit angry".
Sure enough, even as Jin Woo and Young Min were trying to drag the girl back to the store which she stole from, they were getting a lot of evil stares. Truthfully, Jin Woo had never walked into this area of town either. He had often gone in the opposite direction and taken a longer route home just because he liked being out as much as possible. As much as he was not afraid of his environment, Jin Woo did not want to cause unnecessary trouble.
