There were many things Emily had to think about. Most of which were matters of the heart that she had yet to resolve. Emily was a girl who was more or less always problematic with something - it was a typical find amongst children of her age.
Why was life always like this to her?
She was always so close to finding the things that make her happy, and yet she's still quite miserable.
... and all those nightmares she kept on getting ever since she got shot.
No, she shouldn't even try to remember that. After all, she made up her mind - didn't she? Emily made up her mind to do her Boss a favor and reorganize Militia for his return.
She had never done anything remotely useful to him, might as well start with this. There was this slight fear that he might not even like it - but that was a risk Emily was willing to take.
That someone she looked up to would despise her, think of her as an enemy.
She didn't want that, but considering how her mind worked right now, it was an inevitable possibility. And it was then that morning when she had called a friend over to her house to talk. Yes, it was Delilah.
She couldn't talk to David about this. Emily couldn't even talk to Matrim either, considering that she had this feeling that he hated her. She didn't want to talk to Gabriel yet, or anyone else.
She didn't want to bother Ryuu with her own insecurities, which worsened things for the white-haired girl.
She had been feeling alone all this time, and still pondered often if she really was alone.
She wished Ryuu was here with her, to comfort her like he did that night. Emily missed him, even though for some reason when she tried calling him he wasn't picking up. Maybe he was busy with something? Who knows.
Well, there Emily was waiting by her door for that dark-haired girl to arrive. She had previously given her directions to her home, and there was very little else to say that time.
Right now she needed someone to talk to - a shoulder to cry on, if you will.
