Connor had been leaving clues all day. he had skipped class, and had help from another student to write the messages he had posted in several strategic spots. The first was at her locker, the second lerad to the classroom where she had busted in to fight with him The third was on the door leading to the roof. That was where he was waiting for her, a single rose in hand.
Ok, so maybe it was semi romantic. He didn't even think she would go for it. After all, it was Sara. The same Sara who had put him through a window. The same one who had been a part of Gabriel's team. However, she was also the same one he had shared a great conversation with not to long ago, and who had visited him in the hospital. He had been thinking about her, and though he still had feelings for Bix, he knew they would not be reciprocated. At least, not how he had hoped.
He had felt a connection with Sara, right from the first day they spoke. So, he decided he would give this a shot. After all, what was the worst that could happen? She would say no? He was used to that.
He sat and waited. Let the scavenger hunt begin.
The notes read, as follows:
On the locker, folded and taped, Note 1: Here is where your hunt begins A person who waits for you A free dinner awaits, as well as a date But first, there is something to do
A little game to pass the time The second clue you now must find A room where learning takes flight However, one day it was disrupted When here, you chose to fight
On the door of the classroom, Note 2: You've made it this far, But you're not done yet This is only one stop along the way A location of a higher elevation Is your next destination
Final clue, taped on the door to the roof, Note 3: Up the stairs, where a meeting took place You'll see me, though I won't see you As I've never seen your face
Though we have shared much, and I hope this works To get your attention This is how I though to ask you out Come up here for a small token of my affection.
When Sara would arrive, Connor would be there, rose in hand, and smile at her.

Sara arrived to school late, as usual. Not happy about having to deal with her locker on a day such as this, she was happy to find a distraction waiting for her. A note, taped to her locker. She pulled the note off the door and unfolded it. Here is where your hunt begins A person who waits for you A free dinner awaits, as well as a date But first, there is something to do
A little game to pass the time The second clue you now must find A room where learning takes flight However, one day it was disrupted When here, you chose to fightO_____________________O Wow... That was not what she was expecting... A date? Sara was being asked on a date...? " No one had ever asked her on a date before, not like this... Like... She had been on dates ya, but this was... Sweet... Who would do this? Sara was completely lost as to who would want to date her " She didn't have many friends, and most people were afraid of her what with her current mental state and all... But hell, a free dinner !! Why not?! And maybe he would turn out to be nice =3 She reread the note once more. A place where learning takes flight? She was in a bloody school D< The whole damn place had rooms with learning in it D< She tried to think of all the rooms where she had started a fight. Surprisingly... there were only two " And she didn't think the one with Travis, FOREVER ago, counted. So off she went, in search of that room where she had fought... Connor? ... Was it him...? She had a little trouble remembering exactly what room it had been, but after checking out a couple hallways, she found the right one. Taped to the door was another note. She couldn't help but smile as she pulled it off the door. This was really sweet. The note, shorter then the first, read: You've made it this far, But you're not done yet This is only one stop along the way A location of a higher elevation Is your next destinationShe reread the note just to be sure. It was Connor wasn't it...? She didn't know what to think about that... She preferred not to think about it just yet. She liked Connor. She cared about him. He was a good guy. He really was. And maybe... Just maybe... She liked him a little more then a friend... She would need to really think about what she felt about him. But not yet =3 Soooo... A higher location. The roof... She found the door easily enough. She had been up there often enough. Another note was taped to the door. She read it carefully, leaning against the wall. Up the stairs, where a meeting took place You'll see me, though I won't see you As I've never seen your face
Though we have shared much, and I hope this works To get your attention This is how I though to ask you out Come up here for a small token of my affection. It was him. There was no doubt about it. He liked her? Sara closed her eyes, sighing deeply. Did she want to put more chaos in her life? Not that Connor would bring her chaos, but a relationship with her mental problems? But it was Connor... If there was anyone she cared about, it was him. Could she do this to him? Could she involve herself with him without him knowing why she was the way she was? What would he think if he ever found out what she had done during her kidnapping? Well... He had gotten himself into this. If he wanted to do this, who was she to stop him. He might get hurt, but that was his choice. She opened the door and climbed the stairs. At the top, she took a deep breath and opened the door. And there he was, smiling, with a single rose in his hands. She stood for a moment, looking at him, a sudden girlish shyness kicking in. Unsure of what to do she stepped forward, wringing her hands. "Hi..." She spoke softly, the smile on her face aparent in her voice. God... " Since when had she ever been so shy. But something about him going through all of this for her made her feel so... girly...

Connor had still only just gotten out of the hospital. He was thankful for this bit of time. His hand and ribs were bandaged, the bones still mending. Though, at least the ribs were covered with the shirt. Other than that, he was doing alright. His pain was minimal, and he was able to walk, talk, and breath. The black eye was gone, and his nose hadn't been broken, so to look at him was to see the friendly, open face of Connor. He had expected a number of things. For her to maybe bust up here, punch him in the shoulder, call him her blind bitch, maybe demand the food promised in the notes. Or, perhaps to yell at him for the search. What he didn't expect was for her to be... well, smiling and shy. For a second, he wasn't sure if it was Sara. It was her voice, but the smile and tone of shyness didn't seem like her. After all, what would make her shy around him? He took a step forward, and the vibration gave way to her height. He felt her aura. It was definitely her. Connor had been nervous as he had waited for her. Why? Well, it turned out he really did have a bit of a crush on her. The more he had thought about this, as he had the notes written (the other student who had helped thought Connor was crazy for trying this with arguably the toughest girl in school), the more it confirmed that feeling. And as Connor had not only never been on a formal or informal date, he had not idea what he was doing. But, he did at least know that this would be unique. "Well, I guess the clues were clear." Yeah, boy was he smooth. Connor was obviously as shy about this as she was. Any and all confidence he had before was now gone. He was close enough to her, and took her hand, placing the rose in it. "I... um... didn't know how you would take it. I've never been on a date, and I've never done any of that before." He got a weird feeling around her. Was she really being, well, girly around him? He didn't think he had that kind of an effect on anyone. But, if that was the case, did that mean she liked him, too? Connor hoped so. He did want to know her better. And he hoped maybe that might happen tonight. "I made reservations. They're for six thirty." Connor took a breath before naming the restaurant. " Sutro's." He said it with a smile. Not a proud one, but a 'hope-you-want-to-go-with-me' one. The restaurant was known for it's location. It looked out over the ocean, making watching a sunset a highlight during dinner. It was also known for being very pricey. One could easily drop over a hundred dollars on dinner for two, including desert. One fact about Connor that no one really knew was that he was very well off. Looking at him, no one would even guess. He lived simply, and made no mention about money to anyone. At some point, she might ask how he could afford to take her out there. She would learn then. But, for now, he wanted to do something special to make her smile.

He took her hand, placing the rose in it. This... somehow... caused Sara to blush more " Sara really wasn't used to this sort of thing. It made her feel... really good actually >_>" But wow, this was a really big surprise though, she hadn't been expecting this... In the least ><" She tried to think of what to say as he spoke to her. He seemed a lot less nervous then she was. Then he named the restaurant. Sutro's. She looked up to him, a shocked expression on her face. That was a pricey place, but a very nice one. She had never been there, but she had heard about it from her uncle. He often took his clients there when he was trying to close deals and things. The small giggle left her before she could stop herself, but she managed to get out a 'wow...' She didn't know what it was about him, but thinking back to everything they had been through, the things she had done and said to him, it was pretty obvious that she felt something for him. What? She didn't know yet, but tonight might just tell her that. "That... Umm... Wow, sounds really nice." She laughed again, looking around at anything but him. She needed to do something to break the awkwardness. But... Something productive. OH SHE KNEW! She pushed onto her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her lips to his. Kisses always got rid of the awkwardness, and would tell her if she was attracted to him!! =D!! It was perfect! GO SARA!

She giggled. He had gotten that kind of reaction out of her? Really? If he was a typical guy, he might be feeling confident. Even cocky. But, no. Instead, he thought at any moment, he might blow it. She had said wow. The rumors of the restaurant were true enough. Connor had never been there. He hoped that the food was worth it. Well, not so much for money, but that it made her happy.
She seemed unsure of what to say, and in truth, he was at a loss. There was still time, though not epic amounts. Enough to enjoy a bit of conversation before they were picked up. No, not a limo. At least, not the long black kind. He did arrange for a ride, though. Before he could tell her, he felt her move.
What happened shocked him immensely. She moved to fast for him. He thought she would tackle him, maybe playfully attack. He wouldn't have been prepared. He was even less prepared for her to wrap her arms around him and kiss him.
His eyes behind his shades widened, and his cheeks got hot. He blushed hard, and was frozen for a few moments. He had only been kissed once before, though there was not the feeling behind it that he longed for. He wasn't sure if there was here, but he did know one thing.
It felt really nice.
Her lips were soft, and warm. He closed his eyes, and instinct took over. His own arms wrapped around her, and his lips matched rhythm with hers. He didn't know how long it lasted before it broke, and he worried that he might be too bold in returning it. But, he was gambling from the start with this, wasn't he?
When the kiss ended, the blush hadn't left his face. He was speechless for a bit after it too. He didn't know if she had felt anything, and he didn't want to get his hopes up, only to have them fall. But, it was definitely a kiss he would remember.
"Wow." It was the only thing he could say. His entire body was hypersensitive, as all his sense compensated for the loss of his sight. So, there was a lingering tingle on his lips. "I... w-w-wasn't expecting a r-r-reaction like that." He was grinning, and his face almost matched his hair. The look on his face told her how he felt about the kiss. He had loved it. She had also got him to stutter. She showed him affection, and he liked her. That was enough to get his nerves going.
He took off his shades. She was one of the few people who actually seemed alright with his eyes, so there was little need to hide them. At least from her. He took a breath before speaking, calming himself. "There is a ride coming to pick us up. I... had hoped you'd say yes. I'll take the kiss as a yes." He blushed again at the thought of it. Please, please, PLEASE don't let that be the last one! "So I arranged for it to pick us up. The place is supposed to be very scenic. I thought we might spend some time there before we eat."
Yes, obviously he had planned for her. Scenic would do him no good, but it might set a more romantic mood. He only hoped that maybe this would turn out to be something more than just a friendship. But, that depended on if she liked him. Unless she had any objections, or anything else she wished to do up here, they would head to the front of the school and wait for the car, which would be there in about five minutes.
