"Sorry, but kitty doesn't wanna play. Can you let me down now?"
At that moment, both of the "hugger's" friends moved forward to try and take care of Jin Woo. One came in to attack Jin Woo from straight ahead while the other held back a little bit to try and hit Jin Woo from the blind side. Not noticing the individual who had slipped out of sight, Jin Woo placed all his attention on the two ahead of him: The one holding onto Hiyami and the other who appeared to be attacking him aggressively.
Instead of throwing a punch at Jin Woo, the attacker threw a hand past Jin Woo's face and grabbed his head from behind. Pulling Jin Woo's head in, he tried to drill his elbow into the boy's temple. Getting the gist of the attacker's intention, Jin Woo sped up and headbutted the upperclassman right on the forehead dropping him instantly. Unluckily for Jin Woo, the elbow found it's mark on the back of his head dazing him temporarily.
As a result of Jin Woo's hesitation, the other person who managed to bypass his line of sight was now directly behind him. The upperclassman then kicked Jin Woo in the left kidney causing him to crumple and fall on his knees.
"Cheap assholes.." muttered Jin Woo angrily as he attempted to turn around and deal with the attacker on his blind side. However, Jin Woo was not able to react quickly enough and was forced to attempt to sit and block the hits that were coming from his blind side. He was waiting for the moment when he could maybe be able to react.

Hiyami growled as she saw the fight breaking out in front of her. As it was, the upperclassman had lifted her off her feet and was essentially carrying her. She scowled, though she was secretly pleased that she was not, in fact, too fat to lift. Then, she attempted to kick him by bending her knee backwards. She got his shin, but he only tightened his grip around her throat.
After several moments, her body protested, going limp, and, as she'd hoped, he allowed oxygen to flow into her lungs once more. She coughed, a bit violently, as oxygen suddenly flowed back into her lungs.
"Ugh..." she whimpered quietly. "What'd I ever do to you?"
"Now, now," the older boy said, and without answering her question, he continued, "We can't have you interfering now, can we?"
"What? What are you trying to do?" she demanded. "Neither of us have even met you before!"
The upperclassman sniggered. "Yes, but you've met my friend, have't you?" he said, motioning to the unmoving upperclassman some feet away.
"He started it." Hiyami said automatically. She tried digging her nails into what she could reach of his arms. She soon found that not only was he like a friggin' monster, he was cutting off her air supply now.
"Can't have that, can we?" he said in falsely kind voice as the room began to swim around in front of Hiyami's eyes.

As Jin Woo took the beatings from the other remaining friend of the upperclassman, he began to notice that his attacks started to lose speed and power, but nonetheless still painful. Slowly shifting his weight from side to side, Jin Woo was finally able to turn himself around enough in order to see where the strikes were coming from. Jin Woo bid his time and waited for the moment when his opponent threw out a lazy kick aimed at his chin.
Quickly grabbing the half-hearted kick, Jin Woo placed the thin part of his forearm under his opponent's achilles' heel and slid the foot under his arm so that his ankle would be the one that was stuck between his elbow and his side. Jin Woo walked backwards and small but quick steps to throw the upperclassman off balance then gave a slight step forward toppling the older boy onto his back. He then crossed his legs over his opponent's knee, Jin Woo was able to complete the "leg-bar".
In an attempt to snap the enemy's achilles' tendon, Jin Woo pulled back as far as he could which caused immense stress on that small part of the body. However, Jin Woo did not wish to create permanent damage upon anyone on his first day at that part of the school so he intentionally eased up at the breaking point. As Jin Woo and stumbled backwards, his opponent could be seen rolling on the floor clutching his calve and heel. The achilles' tendon did not snap but his calve muscles cramped due to the stress placed on the heel.
"What? What are you trying to do?" she demanded. "Neither of us have even met you before!"
Hiyami's voice snapped Jin Woo back into his surroundings as he attempted to assess the situation around him.
The upperclassman sniggered. "Yes, but you've met my friend, haven't you?"
His friend?, thought Jin Woo to himself. What friend... Oh, the guy who first started this entire mess?
Rolling onto his stomach, Jin Woo was able to see what was going on around him. The upperclassman holding on to Hiyami had now turned around and begun to take Hiyami further away from the scene of the fight. From the sound of Hiyami's voice, it seemed as if he was slowly choking her as a constricter crushes it's prey. Angered by the cheapness of the man's tactics, Jin Woo cursed in frustration as he struggled to get to his feet.
He was definately tired from taking on several guys at once but still had the energy left to fight some more. Luckily, the upperclassman had turned his back on Jin Woo assuming that his two friends had already taken care of the situation. Afterall, what can a measly little freshman do?
Taking advantage of the upperclassman's carelessness, Jin Woo was able to walk within striking distance "quietly" since the food fight brawl was still going on around them. Right when the upperclassman took another stride, Jin Woo threw a quick and sharp kick at his groin area.

[OOC: I had the whole thing all typed up - a nice 600 words. And then my computer refreshed the page.... And logged me out. D: So if this is lacking in quality... That be why. -cries-]
Hiyami was surprised to see herself falling forward. Well, to be more exact, she was tumbling outta the guy's grip - which was very, very nice. She was free! Free, free, free! She resisted the inane urge to sing "Free Bird" because she didn't know the words, and she was too busy trying to stop coughing in order to inhale that sweet tasting oxygen. Well, she was trying to, in any case.
Still, she had a bad feeling and realized that he was going to fall. On her. And that would've pissed her off even more than the whole situation. She scowled - or would have if she hadn't been too busy rolling out of his way - and then caught her second wind, finally inhaling some... food-saturated oxygen. She almost gagged at the odd smells that accompanied the rush of life to her lungs, but stopped herself.
She rubbed her throat as she looked over at the fallen form - she'd definitely have bruises from that. Then she cautiously stood up, checking to see if anyone else was around to grab/attack either her or Jin Woo. Satisfied that there wasn't going to be any such event, she got to her feet.
"I'm sorry," she apologized for the hassle. "Are you okay?"
She didn't know if the body was down for good or not, but she sure as hell hoped it was. She very much believed she'd been mauled enough for one day. And Jin Woo looked pretty exhausted too.
She flinched when she heard a loud crashing sound and turned to see that one of the large cafeteria windows had been broken. Glass littered the ground both inside and out on the ground near the frame, but the windows were low enough that it wouldn't be too much of a risk to leave.
Hiyami nodded towards their new exit. "D'ya wanna get outta here?"

Watching the figure in front of him collapse onto the ground in severe pain, Jin Woo smirked as the upperclassman tried in vain to get up. Before he could take a few steps forward and cause some more damage, he heard Hiyami talking to him.
"I'm sorry," she apologized for the hassle. "Are you okay?"
Jin Woo quickly snapped out of the state in which he desired to hurt the upperclassman some more. As Jin Woo looked up to answer Hiyami, he noticed that she seemed exhausted and had a couple of red marks around her neck.
"umm... I think so. Couple of sore spots but nothing's broken"
Jin Woo then saw Hiyami flinch as he heard the shattering of glass in the window couple feet away from them. After being stuck in the stuffy cafeteria, Jin Woo welcomed the smell of fresh air.
"D'ya wanna get outta here?"
Grinning, Jin Woo replied "Yeah, I do not think I'd enjoy being in here any longer."
Before any authorities could prevent the kids from escaping through the window, Jin Woo grabbed Hiyami's hand and led her out through their new found exit.

She blinked when he'd grasped her by the hand, but ultimately, she didn't really care. She just wanted to get the hell outta there! She was relieved when they made it out with no other fights or incidents that involved mass amounts of pain and a divorce from oxygen. She should've been used to it, but it had been a long time since she'd last been choked. Her thoughts darkened before she jerked them out of the world of doom and gloom.
"Heh, we're going to want to change," she said, chuckling as she noted the condition of their clothing. They were both wearing clothing that had been marred by food, Hiyami more so than Jin Woo. Her throat was sore, but she guessed that would be there for a while yet.
Then, remembering that her apartment was far, far away, she groaned. To get to it, she had to cut through the vast amounts of open space that pretty much led out of campus. And she had to walk through the whole thing. While covered in food.
Hiyami swore under her breathe - just a few choice words, though there was no actual curse word spoken. Blah. Well, at least she could comfort herself with the fact that just about everyone in the cafeteria now would be facing the same thing later.
But that didn't keep her from recognizing that fact that later and now were two different things. She sighed.
"I'm in an apartment, so I've got to wait until I can get at my clothes. What about you? You goin' ta be okay until you get your own change of fashion wear?"

"Heh, we're going to want to change,"
Smiling, Jin Woo replied "Not unless you enjoy smelling like food the entire day". He then started laughing as they walked down the school courtyard. It was not every day where one could get involved in such a food fight and get out of it with a new friend. Or at least, he thought they were friends now. Walking aimlessly around the campus, Jin Woo found himself walking Hiyami towards his locker where he kept a spare change of clothing.
"I'm in an apartment, so I've got to wait until I can get at my clothes. What about you? You goin' ta be okay until you get your own change of fashion wear?"
To this Jin Woo just answered, "Well, my locker's really close to here and I have a spare change of clothing. You can say it's like sports wear but I have other casual wear just in case. I'll lend you mine."
After a couple minutes of walking, they reached the main academic building where Jin Woo's locker was located. It was conveniently located right next to the door so that they did not need to walk much. 24... 29... 16 *Click* the locker opened and Jin Woo pulled out a small sports bag which contained his clothing. The boy took out a baby blue t-shirt on which a white key design was splashed onto the chest. After handing the shirt to Hiyami, he took out a pair of navy blue basketball shorts and gave it to her as well.
"Here, you can change into these for the time being"

Hiyami nodded thoughtfully when he said that his own locker was nearby. Lucky guy. Then he'd offered to lend her a change, and she blinked, surprised.
"Thanks." she grinned at him.
Just a few minutes later, they arrived at the main building, and she reveled in the fresh cool breeze that blew across them when they entered. "God bless air conditioning!" she said cheerily. Although the coldness made her more aware of the extra weight on her own clothing, at the same time, it also allowed the food to cool. That, happily, meant no burns, which she'd been worried about when she'd seen people purchasing hot food to throw.
She blinked when he stopped, before realizing that they were at his locker. She looked away reflexively. After all, no one wanted to risk privacy, right? He pulled out a small sports bag - fairly small, actually, which surprised her, since she'd been under the impression that all sports bags were enormous.
He handed her some clothes, which, she was relieved to see, would likely fit her.
"Here, you can change into these for the time being." he said, and she nodded gratefully.
"Thanks a bunch. Seriously." she said, putting emphasis on the single-word sentence. She was very, very grateful. And pleased. As long as she didn't have to go traipsing across campus looking like she'd crawled from a dumpster, she was good. She could've kissed him.
Then, without further ado, she promptly stripped off her shirt, not really considering the location or the people around. She was used to it - oddly enough, slavery had forced her to become more open-minded, meaning that she never really thought about what was good or bad, or the 'rules' of society.
She was fortunate, she noted as she began to pull the baby blue shirt on over her head, that the food hadn't gone through her own traumatized T-shirt because it meant that she wouldn't ruin Jin Woo's clothes upon wearing them.
"Maybe I should store some clothes where I can get at 'em easy, too!" she said as she kicked off her sneakers to take off her jeans.

"Thanks a bunch. Seriously."
Noting her gratitude, Jin Woo grinned and replied with a simple "No problem" Jin Woo then looked into the bag to pick out his own change of clothing, he noticed something from the corner of his eye. Hiyami was just undressing in front of him as if she was just fine with it. Before he could stop her, she had already taken off her shirt and begun putting on the t-shirt that Jin Woo had given her.
"Maybe I should store some clothes where I can get at 'em easy, too!"
Before Hiyami could pull off her pants, Jin Woo poked her on her ribs in order to get her attention. With a slightly embarrassed smile, Jin Woo pointed towards the female restroom not too far down the hallway.
"Yup, it's actually really helpful at times.. And you know, I think you might prefer changing in the girl's restroom than in public out here. Someone might see you and yeah... get other thoughts."
It was not that Jin Woo minded the fact that this girl was undressing in front of him. Afterall, he did have to take care of his little sister quite a bit from time to time. " Besides, you'd want to wash some muck off your face right?"

She squeaked when he poked her. It wasn't like she could restrain it - she wasn't used to being poked, darn it! Still, when she turned to pout at him, she found he was pointing at the little girls' room that was just down the hall.
"Yup, it's actually really helpful at times... And you know, I think you might prefer changing in the girls' restroom than in public out here. Someone might see you and yeah... get other thoughts."
Hiyami blinked. Her first thought was more or less along the lines of what thoughts? Her second thought came after his next words:
"Besides, you'd want to wash some much off your face, right?"
She paused, and then nodded. She turned and, leaving her shirt and shoes on the ground where she'd dropped them, sauntered towards the bathroom, barefoot - she'd toed her socks off when she'd gotten her sneakers off - and tossed a playful wave at him before entering the restroom.
She was never seen again. Okay, fine. Makin' me tell the whole story. She changed out of her long jeans into his basketball shorts. They were comfortable. And very... airy. She made a face in the mirror before turning the water on. A couple of seconds were good enough for her. She'd managed to get herself clean-looking and presentable. Just... In guys' clothes. When she went back, she'd be able to put on her socks and shoes again, since they hadn't been hit. Anyways, she'd probably do laundry when she got back to the apartment, so it wasn't as though she was particularly worried about it. She grabbed her jeans, rolling them so the much was in the center and the clean parts were on the outside and headed back to Jin Woo's locker.
"The mission was a success!" she said, grinning at him. "And now it's your turn!" She pointed towards the little boys' room, which was in the other direction, but closer.

During the time Hiyami spent in the washroom making herself look presentable, Jin Woo looked through his bag and found that he had an extra pair of jeans that he was looking for that morning. "Ah.. so there you were. I was wondering where my other pair went."
Jin Woo finished picking out his change of clothes then pulled a plastic bag out of his locker. He would use this to take his dirty clothes home in a separate bag so that the muck would not get on any of his other items. He then waited for Hiyami to come out because Jin Woo did not want her to think that he had just left.
When Hiyami came out of the washroom, Jin Woo thought to himself, "Oh, so she does look pretty cute when she's not flinging around food trays..." He was still lost in thought when she came up to him more cheery than before and said,
"The mission was a success!" grinning at him. "And now it's your turn!"
Coming out of his slight daze, he answered "Oh.. yeah haha right. I'll be right out". Jin Woo then took his choice of clothing and went into the bathroom. Soon after taking off his shirt, Jin Woo checked himself for any other injuries he had other than the cut from the food tray. He first washed his face and hair several times in order to wash the remnants of food out. Jin Woo noted that he had several bruises not only on his cheek, forehead, and jaws but also on his sides and chest as well.
"Hope they aren't too serious" Jin Woo mumbled to himself as he took off his shoes and jeans and slipped into the new pair. The boy then dried off his hair and put on his new shirt feeling a lot cleaner than he had felt just moments ago. Putting his dirty clothing in the plastic bag, he walked out of the restroom and then towards Hiyami.
"If you don't mind, I can wash that white shirt of yours"
Well now, the color of the shirt resembeled anything but white. It was a motley discolored mix of brown, green, and red.
"You probably think that it'll never be the same again right?"

He'd gone to take his turn - as she'd surmised - and she took the time to sit and get her socks and shoes back on.... Because there was just about no way in hell she was doing that seated. Motor skills were crap standing - it wouldn't help to be doing something that involved doubling over while standing. That was just asking for it. Anyways, as she was getting to her feet, Jin Woo returned with an offer she simply couldn't refuse.
"If you don't mind, I can wash that white shirt of yours."
She'd simply blinked at him at first, entirely confused. What did he think he could do with it? The shirt was a goner, which was a shame. It was one of her favorites, and one of the nicer ones that she had, since it was semi-fitted instead of just a loose T-shirt. It didn't matter - she'd liked it. She'd also been grieving its loss - in her mind, of course - when he made the offer.
Still, she nodded, though dubiously. "If you think you can win, who am I to stop you?" she said, shrugging.
"You probably think that it'll never be the same again right?"
Hiyami blinked. Oh, he had no idea. At all. There was no way that the shirt would ever be the same again. Stains were terrible, and food stains - especially when they were all garbled together and as oily as most school cafeteria food.... Well, some shirts would just never bee the same, no matter how many times you washed them.
"Isn't it, though? That used to be such a nice pristine, white shirt." she said, sighing. "But if you can get the stains out, that would be wonderful, indeed.... And you'll be teaching me your secrets."
She grinned, playful as ever.
"Feel up to a game of tag?" she asked, eyes sparkling. She grabbed her bundled up blue jeans.... And tapped his shoulder as she waltzed by. "'Cuz you're it, and my apartment's the safe spot!"
And then she sprinted down the hall, accidentally splicing a couple of couples as she went. She shot out the door and took off, grinning as she felt the sunshine against her face. Of course, she had several goals here. The first of which was to treat Jin Woo's wounds. She knew he had to have some major bruises and she had a nice balm for 'em. And if there were breaks, she'd have to take responsibility and at least foot the hospital bill.

"It's not too bad, have you ever tried getting chili pepper stains off your clothing? The worst.."
Now taking Hiyami's white shirt and adding it to the plastic bag, Jin Woo tied it up tightly and put it back in the sports bag. He then took out necessary books for homework assignments, closed the locker and put them in the bag as well.
"Feel up to a game of tag?" before Jin Woo could give her an answer, Hiyami waltzed by, tapping him on the shoulder.
"'Cuz you're it, and my apartment's the safe spot!" He then watched as Hiyami sprinted off towards the direction of her apartment.
"Wait.. are you serious?" It appeared as if Hiyami was dead serious as she almost disappeared from sight before Jin Woo ran after her. What confused Jin Woo was that he could not tell whether she had just unknowingly invited him into or house, or whether she did it on purpose. From the looks of it, Hiyami seemed as if she felt playful so Jin Woo just followed along after her. Besides, it was too dangerous to let a girl walk or run home by herself in a school like this.

Through the commons, there were quite a few people that turned to look. She was certain one person had called after her: "Where's the fire?!" - but she hadn't lingered. Nope, her rubber soles of her sneakers hit the asphalt and her arms moved at her sides to help with her balance - not that they ever did much, but it was worth a try, right?
It wasn't too long - perhaps a maximum of ten minutes worth of running before she slowed down, panting. Physical Education, she could handle. This, though, was just a bit beyond that. She breathed in and out for just several seconds, and then continued on to her apartment. She was just in front of the complex anyways.
She grinned mischievously. She could just go straight to her apartment - but then he might get lost. She checked behind her, grinning when she saw that, he wasn't too far behind her. If anything, he was probably gaining on her. She waved, before heading into the apartment building that was the second from the front.
That first building had undergone construction for quite a while, and some shady characters had moved in, but since they hadn't bothered any of the other residents or her, she hadn't bothered with even looking into the matter or being curious about it. She headed to the second building and entered her pass code and, once inside, simply waited for the door to shut. Which it did. She grinned. Evilly, almost, but not quite.
Well, she was allowed to. She'd won, after all.

Jin Woo followed Hiyami at a comfortable pace, not too slow where he would lose sight of her and not too fast where he would be extremely exhausted. Afterall, he was carrying a bag which held not only his and Hiyami's dirty laundry, but also some of his school books as well.
As Jin Woo ran after Hiyami for about ten minutes he saw her wave and disappear into one of the two apartment that sat next to each other.
Mmm... never been here thought Jin Woo while he slowed to a complete stop in front of the two apartments. One appeared to have undergone reconstruction and looked a little dark and shady. The other apartment right next to it appeared to be normal and fairly clean.
Assuming that Hiyami did not live in a shady looking apartment, Jin Woo approached the second one and found himself pretty much locked outside the apartment.
"Ah... is this supposed to be a joke or did she want me to follow her in." Jin Woo then turned to his right and found a residential directory of all the people who lived in the apartment. Along with it was a buzzer which radioed into that person's room in which the person wishing to come in could communicate with the inhabitant of that place.
"Hiyami... Hiyami... uh I think these are all last names" muttered Jin Woo to himself as he attempted to figure out where Hiyami had lived. When Jin Woo looked through the glass doors once more, he saw that Hiyami was sitting just inside those doors staring at him with an evil smile on her face.
"Um, hi"
