Victor was out at the front of the school, chilling by the flagpole. tonight would be the first try of his fight club! SO EXCITING! he had invited a few friends through text, but realized... there was one friend that he couldn't... text
hence being here, searching the crowd for bobbing red hair that signified connor, the kind hearted blind man of the school. Break wore his usual smile as he scanned the crowds, he shouldn't be too hard to spot...

OOC: Keep in mind... this is after Connor's release from the hospital. He is still recovering, and is bandaged and still not in fighting shape. But... that won't stop him from hanging out. And once he's healed up, then maybe a fight or two.
School was out, and Connor was still recuperating from his injuries. He had been in the hospital for quite some time, but thankfully, the support of his friends and his own will had gained him leave. He was bandaged on his chest, covering the scaring from the burn. His hand was still bandaged, as the small bones had still far to go before he would have use of his hand again. Breathing was still trying at times, but his ribs were in the process of mending. All in all, he was alive, and his spirits had not diminished.
He had gotten a few looks, though he never saw them. He did hear the whispers, those that were amazed that he had managed to survive the attack, and was alright with returning to school. He even acted like nothing was wrong.
He felt the sun upon his face, his hair appearing even brighter outside. He took in a breath, gave a small wince at the pain, but let it all out with a smile. Today had been a good day.

Scanning...scanning... A HA!
Victor jumped from the ledge he had been sitting on, pushing through the crowd of students leaving the school, eager to get home. His body like the prow of a ship cutting through the ocean of students against the flow of traffic, thank god for large shoulders. "Connor!" he called out, his voice friendly and good natured, deep and easily resonating over the chatter of the other students. He pushed through, apologizing and excusing himself as he finally stopped in front of the blind boy.
Victor winced, he had forgotten that connor had only recently gotten out of the hospital, and his pain still showed. "Hey bro... I was wondering if you where doing anything afterschool, cause it'd be super cool if you wanted to hang out... and theres a little somthing going on later tonight if you're interested..." he alluded with a smile, VERY GENTLY nudging Connors arm playfully.

Connor grinned at the sound of Victor's voice. He and the boy had begin to become very close friends, even after only a few short days. He smiled, and though there was pain thanks to his condition, there was also a pleasantness to his face. He was obviously glad to meet up with his friend. "Hey! Good to hear you're voice. What's up?"
Victor greeted him, and even gave a nudge to his shoulder. Thankfully, he was far above Connor's injuries. "Well, I've got no plans today." He had plans, but that was for tomorrow. He had put together a plan to ask Sara out on a date, and was hoping it would work. But, that was not today. Today, he was free. "Hang out sounds great, and I got the night free, too. So, I'm in." He grinned.
He walked on with Victor, and let him lead. "So, can you share what's going on later, or is this something of a surprise?"

Victor smiled and began walking with a little spring in his step as his mouth began moving at lightning speed "Yeah, remember when we where hanging out in the music room, and I mentioned how much I wish fights could just be for fun?" he asked, barely waiting for an affirmative answer before his rich voice continued "well, I invited some friends over to my house later for a little fight club, there are gonna be some rules so no one gets seriously hurt, and everyone will just be able to blow off some steam, you know?" he said, his eyes upturning to the clear blue sky, the sunlight catching his eyes and turning them almost a milky white, still grasping for their dark blue hue. "then I figured... I'm not doing anything until then, so I figured I'd ask of your plans..." he explained as the distance between them and the school began to become apperant and the sounds of the other kids leaving, car doors opening and closing and driving up and away began to fade. He turned, walking toward a little dirt path off the far western side of the school, knowing it would lead toward town. "So, how have you been? your looking better" Victor said, his eyes softening as his voice took on its less boisterous, more listening tone.

Victor was obviously excited. It was contagious, and as he spoke, Connor couldn't help but smile. At Victor's question, he had enough time to utter a 'Yes' before Victor started again, almost lost in his plans. The idea sounded very interesting, actually. It would be a great way to ease stress, and at the same time would make for great training. Victor talked, and Connor listened as they grew farther and farther from the school, Connor trusting Victor as the lead.
He then asked how Connor was doing. "Well, I'm recovering. Things are feeling a little tender, but I'll be alright." His voice was cheery, but he didn't go into detail. He was in more pain then he showed, and his chest was scared in places where the flames licked a bit too hard. But, with a shirt on, you'd never see that. "I don't think I'm in any real condition to fight or spar, at least not for a while." There was a disappointment in that statement.
But, his tone lightened, the happy Connor shining through. "But, this idea sounds great, and I'd love to stick around. if nothing else, I can be a ref." He smiled. "Eventually, I'll step in. But, I'd like the full use of my left hand first." It was fully bandaged, the fingers individual. It was as if he was mummified in that hand only. His chest matched of course, but he was covered.
"You sound in great spirits. I guess things have been going well." Even if Connor had been feeling down (which he wasn't), Victor's mood would have cheered him up instantly. He just had that effect.

Victor's face grew comically saddened when Connor said he wouldn't be able to fight, but it snapped out of it when he offered to Ref. "That sounds great" Victor interjected quickly. the sounds of the people and busy streets indicated their walking had now gotten them to one of the little shopping centers around town. "Things always go well when you look at them in the right light. Nothing too bad, nothing too good has happened, just been living life I guess... things have been so slow around here" he said with a little scoff "thats why I'm really excited for tonight, A fight club is just the sort of thing everyone needs!" he said with full spirits again.
he looked around, finding one of the many cafe's he'd been too recently... almost by fate this was the one he had met gabriel in so long ago, when he fought that crazy guy who wanted to kill gabriel. Victor did not regret his decision to have saved him.
"You thirsty or hungry or anything like that?" Victor asked, coming to a stop in front of the cafe, he knew he was.
