Introduction
Statistics are a visual representation for your character's physical and mental condition. For instance a character that you made to be strong and tough would have a high Strength and Constitution, while he might have a lower Dexterity due to his size. However, over time one can learn to adapt and change how they are. As you gain more experience you may raise your stats. We encourage you to not think of stats as a restriction to your character, but as a quick and visual way to chart where your character is at, characters with more experience will naturally be stronger and better able to cope in this violent environment then those that are just being thrust in.
What are stats?
There are six stats that define your character, three defining your physical state (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution), and three defining your mental state (Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma).
Strength: Simply put Strength is how much damage you do per hit. It is everything from how much you can lift and throw to how much damage you can do to a person or object. Strength is the best stat that you can have because it is your raw power. It allows you to hit hard and take down people fast.
Dexterity: Simply put Dexterity is not only how fast one moves, but everything to do with flexibility and reflexes. Your ability to jump out of the way, or bend backwards is all reflected in your Dexterity. Dexterity is the best stat to have because it allows you to maneuver in combat so that you will be able to strike at openings that appear while hopefully staying safe.
Constitution: Simply put Constitution is your durability. How tough your body is. Whether it is how strong your immune system or your ability to keep going after a beating that would kill a weaker man. In the end it all comes down to your Constitution. Constitution is the best stat to have because it allows you to keep on taking hits so that at the end of the fight you will be the last one standing.
Intelligence: Simply put this is your book smarts. What kind of grades you get as well as how complex you think. Problem solving and thinking one step ahead of those less intelligent then you. Smart fighting is good fighting and with intelligence you can make sure you are the smartest. Intelligence is the best stat to have because it means you are a quick thinker and your attacks are harder to read. You can make sure that your enemy won't know what hit them.
Wisdom: Simply put this is your street smarts. Your ability to read people, tell when they are lying to you or hiding something. Also it is your ability to read your enemy. See through feints and attacks to see just what is heading your way. Wisdom is the best stat to have because with it you will never be caught off guard.
Charisma: Simply put this is your inner power. Not just your soul or spirit but your personality and looks. People with high charisma are normally good looking and good with people, but more then that, deeper they have a strong personality and a strong inner power within. Charisma is the best stat to have because you will be able to unlock your full potential and if you play your cards right you will never be lacking in allies.
Stat rules
Starting players (native characters) are given 120 stat points to distribute among all six stats as they please. Transfers are given starting stats of 90, plus whatever experience you can prove. However no stat can go below 1, in addition to that you must keep your stats (before items and Qi are added) below any current stat cap that you are under. PLEASE NOTE: WHEN ADDING ITEMS AND QI, YOU ARE TO MULTIPLY FIRST, THEN ADD
Stat points are gained several ways, from time to time events may happen and experience points will be awarded for the events. The same holds true for classes.
Upon ranking up in post count you are given an additional 10 stat points as well as a new stat cap.
The most common way to gain experience is through combat. After a fight is completed you gain 1 experience point for everybody that you fought in that thread. For instance if Sally and Joe had a fight both of them would get 1 experience point. But if Sally and Jane both fought against Joe, then Joe would get 2 experience points and Sally and Jane would still get 1.
Notice: To all of you transfers out there the price you pay for transferring your character with your old stats is that you do not get to add in the extra stat points that you would have had if you had started here. This way we give starting characters a bit of a head start on catching up to all of you.

Further Notes
After talking with the admin we decided that the fairest way to deal with some of the higher stats that transfers have is this. When you transfer everyone starts at the starting stat cap. Meaning everyone starts with a cap of 40. Additional EXP that surpasses 40 may be put in to your other stats to make transfers weaker, but more balanced. This will ensure that native characters stand a chance against the stronger transfers and can keep up.
As an example say a character transferring over has the following stats.
Str: 35
Dex: 50
Con: 30
Int: 10
Wis: 50
Cha: 60
As you can see he has several stats that go over the cap. So his Dex, Wis, and Cha all get dropped to 40, the extra stats are now unused exp. This means he had 40 exp to move around as he wishes giving him these stats now.
Str: 40
Dex: 40
Con: 40
Int: 35
Wis: 40
Cha: 40
Still a force to be reckoned with no doubt, but now he is not so powerful that someone wouldn't stand a chance facing him. Keep in mind that this is just base stats and with your items and Qi you can still break these caps.
