Welcome beloved student! Welcome to Public High School #42, or what some would like to call Moral Crest High.

Area | Description |
A | Science and Technology Building Public High School #42's science department is well-funded, and the Science and Technology building is a physical display of that. The first floor contains the offices of the Laboratory Custodian and her supply room is off-bounds to anyone but herself and a few other science teachers. Other rooms in the said floor are Computer laboratories with Wi-Fi capabilities. Some of the students found this their haven, since the computer technicians here aren't as strict as of those in the Libary. The second and third floors are mostly classrooms, all fitted with projectors for the convenience of the teachers should they ever bring a laptop to the class. Some students use these classrooms for illegal assemblies, as well. |
B | Arts Building Unlike most schools, PHS42's Arts department is funded sufficiently. The half the first floor is an air-conditioned theater room, where the Drama class meets every friday. Most of the classrooms here are sound-proofed, and are a hot spot for gang conferences since the Janitor managing this building always manages to somehow misplace his key. |
C | Baseball/Softball Court It's like any baseball and softball court, with seats for spectators. Some students fight here, which lead to the great dismay of the Volunteer Gardeners. |
D | Covered Pool Area Some of the more athletic students hang out here to take a dip in the pool to practice, or to spend their time while cutting class. This is always kept clean, thanks to a very passive but diligent janitor who was said to have been a pillar back in his day in High School. |
E | Botanical Gardens Managed by a joint effort of the Arts and Science Departments, The botanical gardens is where Biology classes study botany and other plantlife for their lessons. Some of the janitors manage to plant some flowers and vegetables here. Some students manage to steal a few to eat or give to their lovers. |
F | Multi-purpose Covered Court A basketball court, Volleyball court and Badminton court? Silly, but yes. The basketball nets are there, hanging on the wall, and there are poles you can stick into several holes to put up nets in case it should be needed. The Varsity team lockers are found in the locker rooms right on the back of the room, and there is a shower room in there as well. |
G | Food Cooperative and Canteen The Janitors need extra income, so part of their job is managing this canteen during Recess and Breaktime. They cook really well and they do manage to make healthy menus most of the time, but you could probably question what they put in these things. They don't really look very well presented, actually. They taste well enough though, and some think it's all that matters. |
H | Administration Building The First floor of this building is dedicated to a huge library which was hailed "The biggest High School Library" of San Francisco. Features include books that run from the health benefits of apples to the zebra theory, but some students found it a better place to sleep because of the air-conditioned environment. The Librarian may be a kind old woman, but she's pretty strict when it comes to being quiet. Internet and Wi-Fi is free for all students to avail thanks to the efforts of the principal. The Principal and his Deans have their offices on the second floor. |
I | School Courtyard Where student assemblies usually happen if they weren't done on the Gym or any other school area. Fights are usually seen here, as well. |
J | Open Space Students like to loiter around here, as there are many benches around for them to sit on -- and possibly to throw into someone else's face. Not bad, for a violent school. |
K | Main Academic Building The first and second floor contains some normal classrooms with features similar to those of the Science building. Several of these room are dedicated to Home Economics and have kitchens on them for cooking lessons. The Third floor is the Teacher's Sanctuary, where they meet and deal with the grades of their ever-so-violent student populace. No students may enter this floor without a teacher's permission, or they will get beaten up... yeah, right. |
