Now I'm certain the answer is somewhere, so I am asking for either a link or maybe a brief explanation if anybody is willing.
I am curious about what newbs like me are to do in regard to fighting. I gotta raise my stats somehow, yes? ^^
I'm just not about picking fights with people who are much higher in exp and stats than my own character...Anyway!
I'd appreciate some assistance, SVP.

Well, are you asking for proper etiquette or the whatnot on how to fight on an RP, or sup? 'Can link you to a few to read to follow examples and whatnot.

If its on what to do or what not to do... Don't assume auto-hits. You'll start utilizing the word "attempt" or phrase "try to" a lot when fighting. The rest...

Well, we can jump you right into a fight, teach you the basics that way. One of the best ways. And while my statistics are high, I can penalize m'self for the thread's sake to give you a fighting chance.---That, and I tend to give people the edge in a fight anyways. >_>

I've fought plenty of times in roleplays, yes, and auto-hits are one of my biggest peeves. D< -shakefist-

Although I am partially uncertain when it involves stats. I just think of D&D, which I've played, which is more complicated than this seems. So maybe I'm looking for something in regard to coupling text with statistics. And maybe that's what a Xin board is.

Your character and writing style is really interesting, and hopefully Ophelia appeals to you. If you're up for conflict, let's do it. Now, does she have to win in order to gain exp?

You only have to participate to gain XP.

Nien. You don't have to win to gain EXP. You get them regardless if you win or lose.
