The now famous arena of 42 has been changed yet again, to compensate for the difficulty a pillar must face when in battle. As the dirt from the previous round had been swapped away, the field was covered in water, filling the arena up a few feet, like a shallow pool. The new cooling system, installed by Mr. Orange before his departure, was kicked into full gear, freezing the liquid. This created an ice arena of sorts, further testing the fighters capabilities.
The announcer cleared his throat before he began, "The remaining rounds will be overseen by your own Director of Media... Mr. Damien Kross!"

"Well fight fans, we've got a hell of a matchup for you!" I addressed the crowd, my eyes surveying the audience. "The icy arena below will soon be covered in blood- and we're all here to see it! In this corner, weighing it at seven pounds, he's lucky I had to forfeit, Trizen! And in this corner, with the sweaty palms and tea-stained smile, he's the guy lurking in your closet while you sleep! Nicolas Constantine! Alright fighters, let's get it on!"

The announcer cleared his throat before he began, "The remaining rounds will be overseen by your own Director of Media... Mr. Damien Kross!"
Trizen was not quite in the ring yet, and he had yet to see what was happening. The match prior to this one was quite the bargain, and Damien suddenly took to forfeiting. That bothered the young boy a bit, mainly because he knew Damien had Qi just like all the others. The boy often wondered what it would have been like to experience another kind of Qi attack, though was glad he didn't for the post part. He still had to recover from his knee smashing. Damien was brutal indeed.
"Well... I guess it's time for me to go..." The boy said on standing up off the bench and walking towards the arena entrance.
"The icy arena below will soon be covered in blood- and we're all here to see it!" The crowd was going crazy. He had never heard so many people in a stadium ready to watch a match... actually, no. He had never heard so many people in a stadium ready to watch a match HE was fighting. This was larger than his fight with Ryuu at school. It was almost sick the way these people were looking for someone to get a good smackdown.
"In this corner, weighing it at seven pounds, he's lucky I had to forfeit, Trizen!"
The raven-haired boy rolled his eyes and smirked on hearing Damien do his announcement. When time he entered the arena, Trizen, for one thing, was glad he had a good understanding of the arena. The boy had a plan mapped out in his mind, but he knew a lot of improvisation would be needed. If Damien was his last opponent then clearly this tournament had its fair share of great fighters. He wondered who he had the honour of dueling next.
'I should forget about the plan,' the boy thought to himself as he chuckled lightly, 'I don't even know who I'm fighting!'
And in this corner, with the sweaty palms and tea-stained smile, he's the guy lurking in your closet while you sleep! Nicolas Constantine! Alright fighters, let's get it on!"
"Nicolas Constantine..." The boy thought back to where he heard that name from. There it was. He was the boy that was involved in that rock band with Ryuu and Jasmine. That was a long while ago.
'I wonder whatever happened to that band...'

"The remaining rounds will be overseen by your own Director of Media... Mr. Damien Kross!"
Nick facepalmed. Of all the people who could distract him while fighting, especially in such an important match, Damien would be one of the last people he'd want announcing.
"Well fight fans, we've got a hell of a matchup for you!"[/b] Damien began.
Nick assumed that it would be a good matchup judging by him somehow making it to the semi-final round of the tournament. He still couldn't comprehend how he made it this far and he definitely thought of himself as the underdog thus far.
"The icy arena below will soon be covered in blood- and we're all here to see it!"[/b]
He looked down as he stepped onto the icy floor of the arena. Nick could already see how this could be a disadvantage to the combatants as he slowly made his way to the center. He looked around as he did so to see more people in the stands than he had seen in the previous rounds, but now it didn't make him nervous.
"In this corner, weighing it at seven pounds, he's lucky I had to forfeit, Trizen!"
Trizen... Trizen... Nick had heard that name somewhere before, but he couldn't place it, maybe he would be able to when he saw his opponent, but for now he had no direct attachment to him as Nick did the previous round.
"And in this corner, with the sweaty palms and tea-stained smile, he's the guy lurking in your closet while you sleep! Nicolas Constantine!"
Nick's brow furrowed and looked around at the stands seeing if he could find Damien to give him a dirty look. He did not have sweaty palms nor a tea-stained smile from all the tea he drank. And he certainly wasn't a creeper! That's Damien the Jester for ya...
"Alright fighters, let's get it on!"[/b]
Nick approached the center of the arena, waiting for his opponent to show. Hopefully he wouldn't get cold feet.

The wild haired boy stood waiting and when his opponent finally arrived, a smirk rose on his face. He did know the boy. He was from that band.
"Here! I'm over here!" The boy waved as Nicholas didn't seem to realize Trizen was in the arena.
With a bit of a light jog, the sophomore carefully made his way to the center of the area to meet up with Nick. This would certainly prove to be a good match. The pair of them were at arm's length of one another and Trizen made sure to get a good look into the eyes of his opponent.
"Let's have a good fight." The boy said with a nod and smile. Trizen was looking forward to this fight, mainly because he didn't know how it was going to turn out. Everyone had their tricks, and their way of doing things. It would only be in battle that Trizen would find out how to shape and evolve his own brand of hybrid fighting.
With both hands up and fisted, the boy waited to experience Nick's first move.

Nick hadn't noticed that his opponent was standing a few yards away from him to his right. What a great way to meet your opponent, showing them that you're oblivious to everything around you. Well, if that's what Trizen thought of him, he'd be quick to realize that wasn't the case.
Nick turned to face his opponent for the semi-final round and the boy jogged up to meet him, arms length. He had seen the boy from somewhere around school, but Nick couldn't seem to recall where exactly.
"Let's have a good fight."[/b] he boy smiled and nodded towards Nick.
"Yeah, back at ya."
He raised his hands up in his boxer stance and the boy raised his fists to fight as well. Nick could automatically see that Trizen's stance was defensive, so he was expecting him to strike first.
And that's what he did. Nick would start with a flurry of quick alternating jabs to the lower stomach, waiting for the opening where he could knock him in the face with a power shot. He was expecting a counter though, but the fight had to start somewhere.

The fight was underway.
Nick Constantine had thrown ad furious assault of jabs. Left, right, left, right, left, right.. Trizen was taking a step back every now and again in rhythm with Nick's approaching footsteps. Flurries were usually broken up by something large, everybody did it. Trizen was prone to doing things like that quite often, but with such flurries incoming,
The boy grunted as Nick's speed surprised Trizen. A number of punches had indeed managed to hit its target, which made Trizen very conscious about Nick's fighting style. This was the surface and young Takano had not yet scratched the surface as to what kind of fighter Mister Constantine really was. Though this taste put his mind in a different kind of place. Nick read Trizen's movements well, which meant the boy had to use a different source of inspiration to make the bout interesting.
With Nick seeing his opening and throwing the power shot to his face, Trizen ducked slightly under his incoming right arm (assuming it was right arm that came forward), stepped in and with gather momentum made a blunt and powerful right shoulder tackle. The hit would certainly cause for trouble of balance on this ice, and even hoped to make Nick's right shoulder sore as he either flew or drifted to his left.

Being a boxer, Nick always had a good balanced stance as he slowly moved forward on the ice, pummeling at his foe. When he went in with the power swing with his left, though, Trizen ducked and attempted to check him with his right shoulder.
Now it didn't really matter what arm he had swung with, even though his left was his more powerful arm, because Nick would still have another fist close to his body to block the shoulder coming at him.
Normally if he had gotten checked with an elbow at this point, he would have lost his balance after the power shot and toppled over even when he tried to lessen the blow with his right hand, but in this case he just slid back with the momentum from the iced floor.
He would imagine that he would only slide back a few feet before Trizen realized that his check didn't work and stop pushing forward. If he stopped, Nick would then push in the other direction with his feet, his hand still on Trizen and he would activate his Qi, allowing him to slide along the ice, pushing his opponent in the opposite direction with incredible speed. He would attempt to ram him into the nearest wall unless Trizen did something to prevent himself from doing so.

The young sophomore did side-tackle Nick a good distance, which gave Trizen a bit of breathing room. However, Nick was stronger than Trizen had anticipated, particularly in regards to the iced floor. It seemed the normal amount of output was not enough due to Nick's strong arm that absorbed most of the blunt force.
'Whoa... this guy's a little tougher than I thought...' Takano thought to himself as he watched Nick rush back in different speeds. This was a bit of a shock considering everything. Nick had a firm amount of upper body power that cushioned the tackle. A move Trizen liked to use when quoting Judo or shifting momentum, though the move didn't work too well since he moved in on the opposite arm -- the right instead of left.
Soon enough, before he realized it, Trizen was being pushed back. He was faster than before. Much faster than before. How? Now, our raven-haired competitor knew how to stop this, but he wanted to see where it was going to go. Though that much was obvious.
SMASH!
Takano-san was rammed into the nearest wall. Not interrupting the course of action that would take place. Though when his head hit the wall, that knocked a bit of sense out of him. They were in close contact now. Trizen was still holding off his opponent's arms so that they wouldn't move. If Nick found a way to break out, then the next set of movements would have existed only plotted minds.
The martial artist would keep his balance by pushing his back against the wall and used the tips of his feet like a snake and assault the points that followed: Toes, shins, then knees. The boy would work his way from Nick's toes up to his knees. And seeing as how Trizen was wearing spiked ends on the bottom of his shoes, a gift by David Blaze, the attack would have worn down the use of Nick's legs, or at least made it harder to move -- attacking essential joints as they were.

We have waited long enough. Winner is Trizen.
