I'd rather make a new character than transfer one.
But I really can't decide where to get started designing one.
The most basic first decision seems to be whether the character is male or female.
A male perspective would be easier and more natural for me to write, and a writing the perspective of a female character would be a learning experience.
Please take a second and vote. I would appreciate it and would reward you with cookies. And if you don't care, don't vote; simple as that!

Personally, I can't do female characters. Plus I find it easier to put more effort and ability into growing and expanding a male character anyway, as I understand them better. If I did a female character, I'm afraid she'd end up static and one-dimensional. And have huge boobs.
So I say make a dude. Learning experiences are good, but I'm more about refining what ya got.

If you think you can portray someone of the opposite sex then do it. Otherwise, i'd say you can go somewhere in between and portray a gay person?

If it flows better the content may come out better, that's also a good point. And yes, keeping the boobs realistic can be a challenge... but I think I could struggle through it. *pony-expresses Adrian some choco-chip* If you think you can portray someone of the opposite sex then do it. Otherwise, i'd say you can go somewhere in between and portray a gay person? Hahaha now THAT would be a learning experience...I suppose if I was choosing a route based on its deviation from my comfort zone I should do that one. *quarterback-sneaks Emily a bag of Mint Oreos*

You should talk to Greg (he's plays Linda) about the whole experience thing. I think it'd be fun to see you play a girl WHAR R MAH SNACKZ.

I guess it wouldnt be impossible, but it wouldn't be a character who just gives it away. Enjoy those e-cookies. They're fairly gentle on one's health. You should talk to Greg (he's plays Linda) about the whole experience thing. I think it'd be fun to see you play a girl WHAR R MAH SNACKZ. I will do so! AHH! You're just in it for the food! *catapults a box of Pepperidge Farm Entertainment assorted cookies to Nazareth*

You want a learning experience? Hermaphrodite. That idea might be as crazy as possible whiel still maintaining some merit. *mails you a top hat full of Vienna Fingers* I stand corrected. I've played a girl before. Not as hard as it seems *Shrug* you're probably right. It makes more of a difference in the design stage than anywhere else. I would want to do a good job of it is all. *hands you a foot-wide Toll House cookie*
