And so, the newest chapter would be written... Which book you ask? Why, thank you for asking... "The Big Book of Epic Ass Kickings" by Doctor Damien Kross. Has a nice ring to it...
At any rate, I entered the arena, the sound of the wood against my sneakers making an unfamiliar sound... I was so used to my dress shoes, but with such an arena fight, different attire was needed. I donned jeans, a black T, and sneakers... So strange for me... But oh well, I needed to win these fights.
I would hold nothing back against my opponent... Granted, I would spare him the awful power of my Qi... He wouldn't get to know the pain of The Orchestra. That's just mean.
Don't be too tough Jester... Give him a little break.
Hm, lemme think... NO.

((Sorry for the delay, Damien. Let's enjoy the bout.))
Coming onto the arena floor, Trizen noticed the change from dust and dirt to hardwood. Interesting. The young one wondered what or if there was underneath the flooring, but he figured it would have to be a surprise. The sophomore felt a little better from his fight with Elmira. It seemed the competitors were given a good window of time to recover before making their turn into the next round.
Trizen knew better than anyone that the fight with this opponent now was going to be... well, perhaps now was not that time to state any sort of thought. The Jester was one to intimidate early on, and Trizen had seen the fellow fight before, but he knew this had to come first. The moment in which the raven-haired student had to keep his focus on. The fight was not going to be easy and he knew the Jester would make sure of it.
Takano would stand some distance from the Jester now. He was in his normal, everyday attire of blue jeans, white shoes, long shirt and brown vest. The boy didn't wear an expression on his face, instead he nodded once and said, "Best of luck to the both of us."

I gave my opponent a quick once over... My hands slipped into my pockets, my head cocking at him. A smile would come to my face as a certain glint came to my eye.
"Trizen, correct? Unfortunately, I don't have your last name... Meh, too bad." I sniffed. "And thank you for the luck. I won't be a dick and say anything like 'you'll need the luck' or something like that... But, I may as well." I assumed a Hapkido stance.
I was going to end this quickly. I would lock in a submission and make him tap out and yell for mercy. At least, I hoped he'd tap out and yell for mercy... I'd hate to mess up this nice fighting arena...
Was that Infected Mushroom? Oh shit yeah...

'Jeez... Ego much?' The boy thought to himself as he received Damien's disposition. He was confident and had no shortage of it, but his stance was familiar. It was closer to home. Trizen knew he had to be very careful with this particular opponent. Damien liked to laugh, he was an actor and improvisor which meant he was mainly into reaction. How could Trizen use this? He wasn't sure, but he would take a guess from starts.
"Takano," the boy said in response to Damien, "My name is Trizen Takano." The boy didn't want to rush towards his destruction. That would've been a stupid idea. Instead, the boy slowly began to circle Damien anti-clockwise from that same distance away. It wasn't arm's length which meant if Damien wanted him, he would have to get him.

"Trizen Takano... Alright, I'll remember that." I smiled.
With that, I began, moving towards him slowly in my Hapkido stance. I didn't make the mistake of charging head-on into battle like an idiot. This was a fight that would be won through the standard glory of combat. Two people, two fighting styles, one winner. The way combat was meant to be.
When within reach, I would begin the assault with a right hook, my fist speeding towards it's target- my foe's face. Were he to block it, I would put my right leg behind his right knee and push forward, attempting to leg trip him to the ground. From there, ground combat would begin.

'Judo? No... hmm.. let's find out what it's about.' The young one thought as he kept moving in his circle.
Now Damien was within arm's reach. Trizen had to expect the unexpected, but with that stance, an arm assault was going to be first. Kickers liked to bounce and Damien seemed to be very careful. Calculative. The Takano boy needed to be especially careful. Here it was now. The Jester had thrown his a right hook to the face.
Trizen kept his hands up, ducked under the right hook and stepped forward in momentum. Once Damien and Trizen were side by side, Trizen's right arm held strong as his body shifted rightward in a blunt and powerful shoulder tackle.

OOC- Keep track of your stats at the start of the fight. Mine are unchanged.
The shoulder charge was quite unexpected, the force slamming into me. I was sent faltering to the left, but quickly recovered, take a quick double-step to the right to launch a leaping side kick. My foot would be aiming for his face- hopefully his chin- making for what could be, in a very slim chance, a KO. Doubtful.
Now, kicking normally wasn't my thing, but that didn't mean it wasn't effective. Hapkido was a style of grapples, throws, locks, and punches, but I could still kick with the best of em.
This kid appeared to be more than I originally thought. Perhaps it would be wise to not underestimate him. Great things come in small packages...

((Noted. I PMed K.O.S. about the first set of changes, he said they were alright. With the new set of exp./items won, I won't add them for this fight -- I'll just keep them in my profile. Sorry Damien, I definitely should've said something.))
The Jester was a fierce fighter. The red-haired man certainly knew how to recover and was fluid in his movements, but this meant Trizen was forced to react faster than he was able to think. If there were three options, he had to choose one. When Damien faltered left, the boy knew he had to turn keep off all protruding ideas of plans, ideas or options. But then it seemed Damien was sort of the same way. Whatever sort of stance it was, Trizen figured it was a relative of Judo. Cool, but definitely not worth finding out how much pain it would bring him.
'!!!'
A foot came in at Trizen's right side when the Jester bounced back. In that way, the young boy pulled his torso back, not just to dodge (the kick grazing his chin), but as a sort of wind up to what was coming. Trizen's two arms pulled back mid-way and with sudden force, the boy went to Twin Palm the full-extended leg. Both hands shot forward in full-thrust went towards the airborne leg (by this time, closer to this thigh).

OOC- Sry bout late reply.
With a surprising maneuver, my opponent slammed his palms into my thigh with force, an attempt to bruise and push away. Interesting. I've never faced someone who practiced Iron Palm. This was going to be enlightening as a fighter.
The attack would push me backwards, almost making me loose balance. However, despite the sudden pain in my leg, I'd be able to recover and assume my Hapkido stance.
"Excellent moves. I'll admit- I underestimated you. I'll chalk that one down as a mistake." I smiled. "Let's try again."
I would approach him at a steady pace, knowing better than to charge, and tempt him to attack me. I'd fake a few maneuvers, only to resume my stance and circle him. If he would not attack, I'd fake a left jab, and instead, take advantage of when his arms would likely be raised and go for a spear, attempting to bring him down into my realm- the grapple realm.

((It's all good.))
When Damien said his bit, Trizen knew the Jester had compiled more data. As much as it did sound robotic. Damien was an actor, and in order for any art student to be great at the craft, he had to be a quick thinker. Observant, bold and a risk taker. As much as Damien seemed to be relaxed about the fight, it was probably because the Jester had gotten a gist of Trizen's approach when approached. The boy had to take the fight to him now. The roles would be reversed.
'I have to be careful now...'
Mister Kross was circling Trizen (clockwise or no?), tempting him to attack. Trizen felt he had to take the bait. With a bit of a running dash, the boy lifted his right knee on leaping towards the man. It was aimed for his face. Then in a sudden snap change, Trizen shifted his weight to his right and had his left leg extended. The boy had picked up a bit of south asian martial arts, one of them being the limp legged Muay Thai. It would be a hard and fast airborne kick to the right side of Damien's neck if the Jester did not react.

His attack would come quickly- a Muay Thai knee strike. I prepared to block the attack, when he sharply turned the attack to a kick. OoOo, not bad. With my Hapkido stance in perfect form, I would intercept the kick, crossing my left hand to the right of my neck, using my palm to cushion the blow. Then, once they collided, my right hand would quickly take hold of his leg at the shin, and my right leg would sweep his solitary leg out from under him, an attempt to drop the student to the ground.
Once there, and with his leg still in my grasp, I would send a series of stomping kicks to the knee of the leg I held. Yes, now, I would begin to wear down my opponent with severe damage to a single body part- and which better than the knee? It would make movement painful, it would make his leg attacks weaker... In essence, he would be so much easier to defeat.

'Should've seen that coming...'
Trizen thought to himself as his body was tossed to the ground. His left leg was caught and being stabbed at multiple times by Damien's feet. Both feet. Wait...
'Both of his legs are moving powerfully... which means ga--'
Damien was pounding at his knee which hurt like a mess. Though Trizen's twin palm attack seemed to weaken his right leg. It made well for Trizen since he was able to tolerate those blows a little better. But now he had to get out of it. The boy had to think about something and quick.
STOMP-STOMP-STOMP
'Right-Left-Right-'
On seeing the rhythm of his stomps, Trizen timed the falling of his left leg and made for the tactic strike. With his right leg already off the ground, he made for a firm and solid throw down of his spike shoed foot to land on Damien's left foot. With that foundation in momentum, he threw himself up like a curl, pushed off Damien's foot to launch another knee strike for Damien's face. If blocked Trizen still had two arms available.
The boy's right hand was coming for Damien's forehead with a straight and powerful Iron Palm.
((Took of an attack. Wanted to see what would happen.))
