"Alone" time (Gabriel/Alexis)

Gabriel set his hands on her hips and started somewhat swaying, in the middle of the kitchen. He shushed her then pecked her gently on the lips. "There is no need to apologize, your sister simply cares for you." well, she knew that much, but if she cared she would let her be with Gabriel. Couldn't the girl see Olivia liked him? Not like Alexis did some stupid shit.

"You should thank her when she comes home, we could have done something stupid, no matter how much we could have been enjoying ourselves." for some reason that hurt a bit. Something stupid? Does that mean he would have regretted going any further with her? She put on a fake smile for his sake, she didn't want him to think there was something horrible on her mind. He tended to act upon what was on her mind a lot.

"Yeah...sure.."

Suddenly he scooped her up into his arms, obviously without any problems, 'cause she was a small girl. He sat her on her lap as if she were being treated like a child, not the young woman she was... now watching the child movie.

Belle was playing in the snow...

She rested the side of her head against his shoulder as she tried not to make any signs of being completely embarrassed about the events that had just occured. "Yeah...I'm glad she stopped us." because if she didn't, Olivia may have gone further with a guy that probably doesn't like her.

Gabriel sat there with her content and unknowing of what she had been thinking but it felt a bit wrong. Was she being awkwardly quiet because she was embarrassed that Alexis had simply popped in on a bad moment or because he'd said something wrong. Either way he wanted her to know clear well of his intentions. Gabriel's lips moved coddling over to her neck playfully kissing along it making his way up to her ear.

'You do know I care deeply about you?" Gabriel whispered in a calm voice, "I will never let anything harm you."

Anything but a whisper would let the secret out. He could never allow for that to happen. It was their little secret, a secret promise. Gabriel sealed it with a soft kiss on her cheek and a brief glance. There could be no one else he would rather stand before a tremulous wrath but her.

For awhile they sat there quietly, but the silence was broken when he started kissing her neck. She moved slightly, 'cause she wasn't really wanting any of that from him at the moment. But he whispered how much he cared for her and that he wouldn't let anything harm her. Though.. how was she supposed to know what he felt about her?

"Yeah..I know."

It seemed like a lie, partially because it was. She didn't know. He probably only wanted her for sex, and nothing more. That is probably Alexis saw in him. She knew his true intentions or something, and she wanted to help her? After all, who would want a relationship with Olivia? Everyone treats her like a fucking child, even her two minute younger sister acted a hell a lot more mature than Livi.

She wiggled her way off Gabriel, and sat beside him on the couch. She didn't feel right sitting on the lap of a guy who didn't want her to be there. Her eyes were fixed on the animation, and avoiding once single glance at Gabriel's reaction to her sudden repositioning. She didn't want to look him in the at the moment.

Gabriel now felt the ray of something turning awry he could smell it as if it were looming on the air. he could feel it in Olivia's body, resisting to meet his. It upset and most of all worried him. Olivia dispersed from his grasp easily seeing as how she was quite small. Gabriel's vision followed closely after trying to focus on the root of the problem. No answer, this worried him.

Shifting his body on the couch Gabriel turned to speak with her looking at her face which she'd been edging her glance away from him. Now he was sure of his wrong doing.

"Ma belle, are you alright?" Gabriel didn't move closer he simply stretched a hand out to clasp her knee providing a bit of contact to work with, "Please, tell me what's troubling you?"

"Ma belle, are you alright? Please, tell me what's troubling you?"

He rested a hand on her knee, and for some reason it didn't seem all that comforting. "Am I a game to you?" her eyes still looked at the T.V, "It sure feels like when ever you are with me you are trying to change me... and making me someone that I'm not... Taking advantage over the fact I like you." she sighed and her gaze finally brought up the courage to look him in the eye. "I like you a lot..and I'm not sure how much it will hurt after you win that game and never play it again..."

She couldn't believe she let her guard down for him. When really she should have had her sheild up to prevent people like him... people who will use her, then throw her away once she is over and done with.

Gabriel didn't get angry, nor cross with her. He merely felt sorry, sorry that he'd pushed her so far, that he'd been trying so hard to make her something she wasn't. It wasn't like him to do that, to hurt her and destroy what little trust she'd held for him. Gabriel moved now off of the couch in front of her so she wouldn't be able to look away. His hands took on a new form clasping around hers defensively, pleading for attention.

"Olivia," Gabriel said pleading almost at a loss for words, "I never meant to change you, I don't want to hurt you or ever take advantage of you." Gabriel pressed now making himself appear so much smaller so she'd give him an audience.

"All I've ever wanted is you, this is you, the bluntly obvious person that you are." He gave a small smile trying to pull at least one out of her, "even if it is a little strange at times, I wouldn't leave you for anything..."

"Please understand I Lo...Like you so very much I couldn't stand to lose you." His voice was near the edge of reason.

He sat himself infront of her, holding her in a way that got her attention. His eyes seemed to spell a plea.

"Olivia, I never meant to change you, I don't want to hurt you or ever take advantage of you. All I've ever wanted is you, this is you, the bluntly obvious person that you are. Even if it is a little strange at times, I wouldn't leave you for anything..."

Would he be telling he truth. The look he was giving her was telling he was being honest. Though Aelxis can pass off a lie quite easily.

"Please understand I Lo..."

She held her breath.

no, no, no, no...

"Like you so very much I couldn't stand to lose you."

She let out her breath. That was close. She wouldn't have been ready for those words so soon. Though if he managed to almost slip up, he was telling the truth. She finally smiled. She couldn't honestly be mad at him. Though it was very close to being that only moments ago.

She rested her forearms on his shoulders, and hooked her hands together behind his neck.

"I feel the same way about you." she leaned in closer to him and pressed a small, but passionate kiss on his lips. "I'm sorry... I'm I'm sorry I even doubted you..."

A quick kiss. And with that a deep breath and recovery from the near heart attack she'd given him. Gabriel's hands rolled up her arms clasping around her wrists with care. He was quit now, possibly still recovering from his bluster. She didn't seem to have caught it and for that he was thankful. Gabriel stood now briefly to sit beside her again.

"There is no need to apologize, Ma Belle." He said in a calm voice,

Gabriel's eyes leveled heavily to hers and pulled her in once more into a close embrace. He'd be damned to let her go this soon, he'd just only gotten past her walls. And she was breaching his.

he brought her into another embrace, stating she didn't have to apologize. Though she did have to after all, she made the wrong assumptions.

Again she wiggled from his embrace, but this time she laid on the couch, resting her head on his lap, and hugging his legs with her one arm. Maybe all of this was just denial she had someone to care for her.

"So....you actually promise.....not to leave me?" her fingers massaged his leg, in a circle-like motion. "I wont leave you...If you don't hurt me.."

Maybe it wasn't a good thing he had such a grasp around her, though that thouhgt hadn't crossed her mind. All she thought about was him.

Gabriel smiled briefly, though it was more of a tired smile. He was exhausted and it only seemed to be hitting him now. Olivia's tracing circles into his leg brought an almost hypnotic edge to his exhaustion. It lulled him away into a darker realm. He wasn't ready to leave yet. There was still so very much to have done. A steady hand pet her cheek brushing away a stand of hair out of her face so that he'd have a better view of her when he replied.

"I promise, I'll always be here." A cool voice before he stretched to the side his elbow holding his balance slowly.

She smiled when he promised. Hopefully he was a man of his word.

her eyes dazed in and out as she watched the screen. The movie started getting blurry then focused again. it was begining to get hard to keep her eyes open. She needed sleep.

She moved her head slowly, to check on Gabriel's condition, and he seemed tired himself.

"I'm probably ready for bed." she sat up from his lap and rubbed at her eyes. She leaned in to kiss him on the lips, only to part, but kept a close distance to his face, "You can stay too. I have a big bed.. More than enough room?" she got a little red in the face for askig a question. "We wont do anything 'stupid'.. we could just sleep."

Of course she was hoping he would agree, 'cause she wasn't really looking forward to being left alone. "Its just... Alexis is gone and li isn't here....and i'm scared." she put a smile on. That and she didn't want to see him leave.

Gabriel accepted the kiss all too readily, he enjoyed its bittersweet moment as it slowly ended to his dismay. Olivia's voice almost sounded like a whisper though it was so close it was everywhere. He grinned happily encompassing his grip around her tenderly.

"You just don't want me to leave do you?" Gabriel replied with a small smile, "It's okay I don't want to either." he finished with a small kiss and a bat of his eyes.

He let this one last a little longer pressing for as much as he could being patient and not overly hungry.

"Big bed huh?" A smile escaped once more.

She smiled and kissed him back.

"Big bed huh?"

She let out a breathy laugh. "Yeah..." and she hopped on him, straddling him again. "Sweep me off my feet and carry me to mein bed!" she gave him another kiss, and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Up the stairs and to the left!" she said in the most epic hero voice she could manage. "Come on! On with you!" she laughed waiting for him to do as she demanded. Yes! Olivia demanding? OOODD!

Back to the straddling, Gabriel certainly enjoyed himself. She was more herself now the girl he'd seen behind the mask. She'd hidden from him and everything such a short while ago all it took was a little fear. He smile wryly.

"As you wish my lady..." Gabriel said kissing her again, before she would know it Gabriel would have Olivia up in his arms and been halfway up the stairs turning quickly into the bedroom.

"So, I have a feeling you get quite cold at night?" He said with a smooth smile lying her between the covers following her in closely so that he could wrap an arm around her. The warmth burnt up the bed and Gabriel felt his eyes drop. Tired sleep edged its way in close but he wouldn't be beaten by her. Not yet.

"So, I have a feeling you get quite cold at night?"

She smiled as he set her down in the blankets. "Very cold..I think the heat is broken... no not really...I just want you to hold me." she said with a little innocent giggle. Of course she was bluntly truthful. He followed shortly behind, tucking himself in and wrapping an arm around her. It felt good to have some one be there for her at night. Even when she was little and had nightmares, her parents didn't care.

She felt sleep try and overwhelm her, but before it got its dark fingers on her, she wiggled closely to him, kissing him on the lips. "Thanks for staying... Goodnight." and shortly after she fell asleep.
