The Naked Truth (Kate)

The kiss had brought Kate back into reality. Well, rather snapped her out of her grouchy sort of mood. That depressing sort of mood that Kate always had trouble getting out of. It was broken, away, and not to be talked about. Kate grinned at Adrian and chuckled just slightly. One hand came up and swatted his face, lightly and playfully.

"Stop grinning like that."

She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. No, she wasn't ready for a relationship. And despite how her body felt, how she wanted him sooooooo badly... Kate was refraining from sleeping with him as well. Why? Because she was doing it... so that it would be so much better when it happened.

Or at least she was getting a kick out of it. Torturing him and all that. One hand reached up and traced his left ear with her fingertips, smirk on her lips.

"No, you," he said, sticking his tongue out at her. She leaned in and kissed his cheek, which only brought that smile back to his face. When she traced his ear, his eyes closed and his smile got a lot more distant, since she was touching his sensitive spot. When she finished, his eyes fluttered open, and he let out a little contented sigh.

"Now, Kate... we have a problem," he said, moving completely on from the sad state of earlier, tactful enough to at least pick up on that clue. He looked down at the jeans he was wearing. "I'm afriad if I wear these middle-class pants any longer, they'll fuse to my body and be a source of embarrassment for years to come. Wanna skip school and go back to my condo to get some new clothes?"

He was that worried about the jeans? They weren't high class, but he made them look good. They looked really good on his hips.... Kate moved her gaze rather quickly. Torturing him was going to be a drag on what she wanted too. Kate reached out and twined his fingers in hers. Tightly, like she would never let go.

"Sure, I'll come to your place Adrian. You didn't have to come up with an excuse to ask me."

Teasing, she kept on grinning. Stepped slightly away and toward the parking lot. Kate assumed that because he needed to go home to change, he couldn't find his clothing here. Was there a real problem? Probably not because he could afford plenty more.

Adrian shook his head at her reply, but couldn't help but smirk, regardless of his intentions. Truly, he hadn't even thought of it in that regard. Adrian simply wanted to change out of the pants he was wearing, which required him to go home, and more importantly, he really didn't wanna go anywhere at this point without Kate nearby.

"Well... c'mon then." He released his grip on her, excepting one hand that clasped around hers, and headed off to his car, on his way back to his condominium.
