Emily chuckled at James's answer regarding his eyepatch. Well, he successfully evaded the question though Emily thought best not to push the question further, thinking it was information he might rather not disclose to them. After all, they just met a few minutes ago.
It was a shame though, Emily really was interested to know.
"Well, I'll have to remember that tsunami bit in case you get troublesome. Although I'm still kinda thinking you'd come out on top in that fight. But I just got to know, what did you guys bring over with you. The pillars, they are strong, but all the people who transferred. Are there any specific people to avoid? Are there any especially dangerous types?"
Emily's smile dropped. Alas, the pillars of 259 had more or less successfully taken the previous hierarchy from the natives of PHS42. She knew all of them, save for the Head of the School Newsletter, personally.
It was quite thankful though, that none of these people knew she was a captain before. She really didn't look like it, after all. "As far as I've known, the School Captain and the Student Body President possess great ability and strength. The Varsity Captain isn't as strong as them, but he's not someone to take lightly. The HSN I don't know about, as I've never fought with him before."
...
Yeah, never fought with him before.
Maybe it should be time to change that soon. Arrange a meeting with the Head of the School Newsletter and see what he's got.

Riley saw James smile smugly at Emily, looking like he knew something they didn't know. "I didn't lose my eye. I know exactly where it is. As for the eye patch I got it from a facial prosthetic place. I passed up the whole glass eye thing, I found those extremely creepy." Riley just kind of stared blankly at James, which was the normal for him, as he heard Emily chuckle. Nice dodge James, he successfully managed to evade the question, as he then turned back to Riley, who by now, no longer had the blank stare on his face anymore. "Yee be going the right way for a plank walk Mr. Riley, I be the captain of this vessel, yar!" Riley chuckled as he saw James form a hook with two of his fingers on his right hand and made a hook motion at Riley, the smug smile back on his face, as Riley scowled back. "Careful what yee say captain, or yee be in for a mutiny... Yee crew don't take too kindly to walking the plank, we be as unforgiving as the ocean itself..."
"If you want to know what happened to it, I'll tell you another time, kay? I promise, even if you have to run up to may and grab me by the hair and yell 'Jake tell me how you became a cyclops!' and I'll say 'first of all my names James, and this is how it happened'..."
"Nah, we wouldn't grab you by the hair, we'd just leap onto to you and bug you 'till you give in." Riley replied smugly, as he grinned at Emily. Are there any especially dangerous types?" At this, Riley's grin faded, as did Emily's smile. Sadly, the pillars from 259, had beaten the crap out of the native Pillars of 42. Riley knew two of the pillars of 259, but the other two, he had no knowledge of. No one knew Riley had been a Pillar before, but not at 259, it was back at Point Hope. "As far as I've known, the School Captain and the Student Body President possess great ability and strength. The Varsity Captain isn't as strong as them, but he's not someone to take lightly. The HSN I don't know about, as I've never fought with him before."
"Ditto. I only know two of the Pillars, the School Captain, and the Varsity Captain. I fought against the Varsity Captain. He's strong, and shouldn't be taken lightly, he may look like the all brawn no brain type, but trust me, he's got brains inside that head of his. I don't know very much about the School Captain, beyond her name, and the other two Pillars, the SBP and the HSN, I know diddly squat about them. Ironic huh? I transferred from 259, but I don't know anything about the two Pillars who influence the students the most. As for any specific people to avoid, I can't really pinpoint anyone out at this point, but all I can say is, watch your back."

"Got it," He said once James had also given a similar answer, "Pillars bad, Mili-" He covered his mouth and coughed. He hadn't meant to say that word out loud. He didn't want to go off spatting about a group his roomie had told him about. After all, these people might be against Militia, or not know a thing about it. "Sorry, I was trying to say Pillars bad, Million to one chance I'll survive against them, you know before all the coughing."
He leaned back and said, "It's not my back I'm worried about really, it's the backs of everyone here. If we can't trust our leaders, if people start to dislike the pillars, people will go against them. And if these guys are as strong as you say they are.... people will get hurt."
And I do not want that to happen to anyone... not Sara, not Sam, nobody.
"Or maybe I'm just over thinking this all," He said sitting up, putting his hands flat on the grass with a smile on his face, looking back at the other two wondering if they'd continue their conversation from before or not, of course, he was also tempted to ask Emily out for coffee. She seemed to show an interest in him, and seemed to be curious about his eye. Most people didn't ask, and the ones that did were usually rude or making fun of him. She asked, but she was nice about it. So maybe he would tell her.
With a very vague description of the events and people involved, but more or less the truth. Of course, he wasn't about to ask her to coffee now. He'd wait till he could get a moment with her, "So....." He said, not sure what to do or say.

(ending this quickly, so Riley could go ^^) Emily was brooding again, as the two boys threw more opinions and observations about the current school hierarchy. Emily was about to open her mouth, when her cellphone rang. *Riiiing*Of course, anyone who was interested in old Videogames might recognize this as "Yume wa owaranai" from the Tales of Phantasia RPG. Panicking, the girl would search her pockets for the said phone, and found it on her right pocket. Excusing herself from the conversation, she picked it up as she stood up. "Moshi-moshi?" She said, slightly hushed. "Ah! Pasensya na tita. Nasanay lang." She began speaking in a foreign language, "Ah, di pa dapat po ako umuwi. Mamayang alas quatro pa po. Bakit po?"
"Ah... sige. Opo. Opo."*click*She turned to the two boys, not surprised if they were looking at them funny. "Sorry. I was told to skip class for the rest of the day, something's up at my aunt's home." Apparently, it was an emergency. Emily would mentally roll her eyes at this. She appreciated the idea that she had family, but -- they can be quite a bother. Emily was used to being alone, and/or being with people of the same age. She couldn't wait to move to her new apartment. She just had to wait one more month. Taking a note from her pocket she would scribble something down with a pen she was conveniently keeping on her pocket. It was her number. She gave it to Riley. "If you have a question about Militia, please just call or give me a message anytime you'd like, kay?" She would smile to the both of them and waved as she hurried off to her locker. Of course, Riley could share the information with James if he asked for it and if Riley actually gave it away. Many things you could actually do with a girls cellphone number. Emily was just clueless about the usual implications of that.

"Got it. Pillars bad, Mili-" Riley just kind of stared when he saw James cover his mouth and cough. "Sorry, I was trying to say Pillars bad, Million to one chance I'll survive against them, you know before all the coughing." "Uh, sure, if you say so," Riley replied, raising an eyebrow, if he didn't know any better, he could've sworn James was about to say the word Militia, not million. "Relax James, we know about Militia, both of us are part of it," Riley said kindly, "Although how you know about it, is what puzzles me. How did you find out about it?" As soon as James answered, Riley saw him lean back, before continuing. "It's not my back I'm worried about really, it's the backs of everyone here. If we can't trust our leaders, if people start to dislike the pillars, people will go against them. And if these guys are as strong as you say they are.... people will get hurt." "You're right," Riley said, agreeing with him, "Every one of us, has someone we want to protect. For me, it's my best friend, I don't want anything to ever happen to her, so I would protect her with my very life." And that was the truth. Riley cared about Reira so much, he would risk his own life, just for her.
"Or maybe I'm just over thinking this all." Riley thought about it, as he saw James sit up and place his hands flat on the grass, a smile on his face, looking back and forth between him and Emily. "Sometimes it's good to think about it," Riley responded, "But sometimes, you just need a break from it all, a chance to just sit back, relax, and not thinking about anything." And it was true. Everyone needed a break, even his boss, Emily. Okay, technically, she wasn't his boss, but he liked to call her his boss, to tease her. "So....." But before Emily could say anything, since Riley saw her open her mouth to speak, the sound of a ringtone went off, and Riley recognized the song as "Yume Wa Owanarai" from the game Tales of Phantasia, he loved that game, he had bought the re-made PSP version when he had been in Japan a year ago. He saw Emily begin to panic as she searched her pockets, which he found slightly amusing, before she found her cell in her right pocket. She then excused herself from the conversation, picking the call up as she stood up, as Riley waved his hand casually.
"Moshi-moshi?" Eh? Riley recognized that as Japanese. "Ah! Pasensya na tita. Nasanay lang." He then heard her begin to speak in a foreign language, as he looked up the sky, amusing himself, "Ah, di pa dapat po ako umuwi. Mamayang alas quatro pa po. Bakit po? Ah... sige. Opo. Opo." Emily then turned back to them, as he looked back down and over at her. "Sorry. I was told to skip class for the rest of the day, something's up at my aunt's home." "Don't worry about it boss." Riley said, waving his hand causally once again, yes, he had called Emily "boss." He then saw her take a note from her pocket and scribble something down on it, before handing it to Riley, who took it and looked at it puzzled, it was a phone number. "If you have a question about Militia, please just call or give me a message anytime you'd like, kay?" "Sure, I'll make sure to do that boss..." Riley said, as he stared at the note, before smiling and waving back at Emily as she left. "Hey James, if you want Emily's number, bring out your cell, and I'll tell you it." Riley said, once that was done, Riley would salute at James, before heading off on his merry way.
As he walked across the school grounds, his eyes passed absentmindedly over the students scattered around, including a very familiar face. Riley's eyes slid over the face, as he continued walking, but then stopped, and looked back, and took a few minutes, before recognizing the face, it was the guy who had stopped him outside the library at the Militia meeting, guess the guy was part of Militia now. Riley walked over to the guy, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, you're the guy from the Militia meeting right?" The guy turned around, a surprised look on his face, before he recognized Riley. "Huh? It's you! Yeah, from the Militia meeting. What is it?" "I have a favor to ask of you." "What is it?" "I'm not going to be here for much longer, and I... I want you to watch over Emily." "Emily... the girl with white hair, right?" "Yeah, her. This school is a tough school, and I don't doubt her strength, but all the same, watch out for her. And take this," Riley unzipped his North Face Jacket, and held it out for the guy to take, "You're going to need it, I won't where I'm going."
The guy looked at the jacket, and then at Riley. "But, I can't..." "Take it, I insist." The guy stared at Riley once more, before looking back at the jacket and sighing. "But... I... Alright, I'll take it." The guy took the jacket, and slung it over his arm. Riley then turned, and began to walk away. "What's your name?" Riley stopped, and turned. "Riley Davis, and yours?" "Ryuu Hikari." At the name, Riley's eyes flashed, but then turned back to calm just as quickly. "Don't forget, watch over Emily." "I will." Riley then walked away, as Ryuu watched him walk away, and pulled the jacket on, as he felt something in the pocket, and pulled out a note with Emily's number on it. "You forgot..." But Riley was gone. Ryuu looked back down at the note with Emily's number on it, and flipped it over, and saw a note was written on the back.
If you ever need anything about Militia, call Emily, this is her number, and give her my name, she'll know where you got the number from.
- Riley"

"Hey James, if you want Emily's number, bring out your cell, and I'll tell you it."
I could kiss you right now..... James thought, pulling out the pay as you go style phone that Rem had given to him. He added the number and started to think about it. Emily mentioned Militia, something James knew about. He would talk to her, get her side of the story. After all, he heard Rem's side. But he didn't know it from a different perspective. He wanted info, info on Rem, info on everything else. "Go ahead."
I hate sneaking around, so I'll just tell Rem straight up that I'm going to talk to her about it. After all, as long as I don't mention this new group I'm sure he won't mind.
"Yeah later......" He said, not even sure if Riley had said anything past the salute. Instead he looked down at the phone in his hand, pondering what they would discuss if they were to meet up for cocoa. He liked cocoa, and he didn't care what anyone at the site said, cocoa was manly.
