Sara dropped back into the seat in front of him, pulling the glass he had filled towards her. She was shocked. He and Reira... Were no longer together. That was... a surprise. Her head dropped. It was her fault. She had cost him someone very important to him. She felt bad. She hadn't thought that he would tell Reira. She had never met his fiancee, but she was sure that she was a good person, and she knew Matrim loved her deeply. And it was because of her stupid actions that they were no longer together. But he was taking it surprisingly well. That sort of surprised her as well, but it made her feel slightly better. If he had been in tears, she would probably want to jump off a cliff for having done that to him. And he was asking her for help. Her eyes lifted to his face.
Sara didn't know if it was the drink or not, or something more... But his logic made sense to her. They were just good friends right? And friends helped friends. She picked up the drink, taking a small gulp, licking her lips as she thought about it. He was asking her for help as a friend, and she would do whatever it took to help him. She had just told him that. Her vision was swimming a little. God DAMN she was such an easy drunk... She focused on him, slightly blurry eyed. She didn't quite know what he was asking her for. Was it more of what they had done in the park...? Or did he just need someone to listen to him?
Her hand dropped from the glass, reaching out to take his hand. "Matrim, whatever you need, I'll happily give you... You can count on me." She gave a small giggle, smiling at him from across the table. "I'll always be here for you... What are friends for?" It was meant in the most innocently way possible, but her drunk mind couldn't help but return to that day in the park. She blushed as she thought about it, sitting back up straight in her chair as she finished her drink. Then her hands fell back into her lap as she looked around the bar, avoiding his gaze.

"Matrim, whatever you need, I'll happily give you... You can count on me. I'll always be here for you... What are friends for?"
Friends....
Matrim thought about this. He didn't really have friends, except Sara was a friend. She was actually a really good friend of his now that he thought of it. The fact was that Matrim usually didn't allow himself to get close to people, because he always thought they'd get hurt if he did. He still had that superman complex where he thought he put people in danger because they knew him. He had it in him ever since becoming School Captain at PH. And part of it was paranoia until things started happening to his friends and the people he cared about.
But here was different, he wasn't some major player, he was just the Varsity Captain, not even some major pillar. Not to mention the pillars were doing good, nothing really bad was happening. Nobody was really targeting them, and if they did they probably weren't the types to go after the ones they cared about, they were more likely to go directly for the pillars themselves. "Thank you...."
Matrim's leg hooked around the middle support of the circular table, and shoved it to the side. Matrim's free hand lifted the bottle so it wouldn't spill over. He took a swig from it and pulled on the hand Sara had put on his own, he would pull her onto his lap, and press another kiss on her. He'd then say, "Do you want to get out of here? Go somewhere more private?"

"Thank you...."
Her head had dropped, her gaze going to her lap. It was hard to look at him. She hated not knowing what was going through someone's head. Especially at a moment like this. She wished she could read his mind, know what he was thinking. She felt awkward, not knowing whether he liked her or not, whether he was serious about what he said. "It's really nothing... I do it because I want to..-"
She was cut off by the table in front of her being pulled away. She flinched, and then was pulled from her seat. She tripped slightly, landing against Matrim... And his lips. There was shock this time, both because of the suddenness of the act, and because of the sudden explosion of heat and tingles throughout her body. It was only quick, but it was enough to have her panting as it broke.
"Do you want to get out of here? Go somewhere more private?"
She pushed herself off of him, a smile touching her lips. She had to admit... The idea sounded very good to her. She felt amazing, with the alcohol now having full run of her mind. She giggled, blushing. She wanted to let herself loose, have fun. She wondered if he would be able to give that to her.
"That... sounds like a good idea." She leaned down slowly, shyly, to press her lips to his. She was still holding his hand and she moved it to her side, letting it fall on her hip to do as it pleased. She hoped that would be enough to show him how much that plan appealed to her. She pulled away, breaking the kiss and straightening to leave. "Any ideas where to go...?"

She smiled at his question. She giggled, and even blushed. It sounded like she was going to say yes to him, and much to his expectations that's exactly what she had done, "That... sounds like a good idea." She moved his hand to her waist, and it gripped her where it had while they were dancing. And then his right hand traveled up, hovering over her scar, but not pressing against it, just hovering over where it would be as she kissed him. Finally she broke away, "Any ideas where to go...?"
He grinned, looking outside at his motorcycle, "How about...." He said, thinking about it. He wanted some place more private, so why not take her to his place? He had gotten a pretty nice loft. Wide open space, but it had a separate room for a restroom. A kitchen, a bedroom, all of that had been built in though though most of it was open space. Still he had managed to convert the place into a really nice looking pad. Sometimes it paid to be rich, and he was feeling a bit spendy when he got into San Fran, especially since he hadn't spent all that much at Long Beach.
"How about we go back to my loft," He said, "I have drinks there, a large bed, and it's very private." He'd say, leaning in to whisper into her ears, "We could make all the noise we want," After this he'd nibble on her ear lobe a little, before letting go and backing off. If she got a yes, he'd lift her off of him, and holding her by the hand he'd take her to his bike, and drive her back towards his loft.

Seeing his hand hover over the spot on her chest where the burn was filled Sara with mixed feelings. There was... a strange excitement... But at the same time, anger. She was conscious of the sweater, tight at her neck, and she wished she didn't have to wear it. It was uncomfortable, and not really her. She pulled away from the kiss, letting him speak.
The idea of going to his home... It made her nervous. But it sounded really good to her right now. The soft biting on her ear wasn't helping matters though, and the small hints at what might happen filled her with excitement. It was a strange feeling. She hadn't meant to feel this way. She hadn't planned on it, and had never expected it. It must have been the alcohol clouding her mind, because she hadn't intended to do this again. And now here she was, practically panting for it.
"That... sounds good. Your place is fine..." She blushed deeply, as though admitting that she was excited, and maybe, in some small way... really wanted it, was shameful. She was lifted off of him and led by her hand to his bike.
The nerves crept up on her. She hated riding on the motorcycle. And he was drunk... This... For some reason this didn't seem to be a smart idea, but she kept quiet. She climbed on with him, her arms wrapping around him as she clung to him like a child. This was going to be a long ride...
