In The Shadows (Jeremy)

[Ryuu]

Ryuu yawned widely, as he stood in an alleyway located near Golden Gate Park. He was leaning against the brick wall, his hands in his pockets, watching cars zoom by on the road. He was separated from the main road by a chain link fence, and the shadow of the building hid him from view. He stared up at the evening sky, which was orange from the sunset, since he was bored. Sighing, he straightened up, dusted off and straightened his jacket. Time to head home, or so he thought. He walked down the alleyway, and just about reached the entrance to the main sidewalk, when he heard a rough voice shout out somewhere to his right in an adjacent alleyway to the one he was in. "That's him! He's the one that ruined my fun with that girl! Get him and kick his ass!" Ryuu turned his gaze and saw three guys come running straight for him, stopping and surrounding Ryuu. "You... You're going to pay for ruining my fun with that blond girl, get him!" "But Sam, he looks pretty tough, are you sure you want---" "Don't question me Eddie, or I'll stomp your face in too!" "Alright, alright, you don't have to get so violent with us, we're helping you alright?" "Good! Just make sure to watch out alright?" "Just as long as I don't get involved, I don't care."

Sam, along with the other guy then ran at Ryuu, who had gotten bored and was about to leave, but as soon as his friend got close enough, Ryuu decked the guy in the face with a powerful punch, enough to draw blood, sending the guy crumpling to the ground, blood flowing from his nose. "Now that you've got my attention..." Ryuu muttered, as Sam, who had been behind saw his friend get knocked out, immediately rushed at Ryuu, who ducked under his punch easily and swiveled around, sending a roundhouse kick into his gut, which sent him flying backwards, as he landed on the ground, hard, knocking him unconscious. Now Eddie was the only one standing, he just stared as Ryuu knocked out both Sam and decked his friend to the ground, before deciding it wasn't worth it to confront him, and along with the guy who's nose was bleeding, they helped Sam up and high-tailed it out of there. Ryuu then dusted his hands off, and was about to leave, when he saw someone block his way leading onto the main sidewalk.

Jeremiah fisted a man in the face, sending his body sprawling into the opening of the Alley, just as the boy whose presence he did not yet realize was there turned around. He walked over to the body of the battered man, who had a shaved skull similiar to Jeremiahs, only his was tattooed. JEremy wore a leather jacket with Deep blue jeans, this time with a deep blue shirt under his coat instead of a normal white one. He wore shades over his eyes and had a smoke between his lips. He grabbed the guys shirt, lifting the body a few inches up off the ground. "You tell Mr. Mattins that i said i'm out. When i say i'm out, i mean i'm out." He punched the guy in the front of the chin, instantly knocking him unconscious.

He turned to the alley, standing up straight rather slowly, bringing up a hand to his cig and taking a deep drag before pouring the smoke out his nostrils. His eyes caught the other youths as they ran, his eyes travelling back to the kid who stood silent in front of him, staring at him like he was some kind of obstacle. He guessed thats how a lot of people veiwed him- as nothing more then an obstacle. Of course, to him, the world continuously followed him, and didnt like that he moved too slow, therefore making him an obstacle to everyone.

He flicked a little ash of his cig.

"Keep staring like that, kid, and someone might think your trying to pick a fight."

Of course, he stared directly into the boys eyes, his calm, placid blues showing cold animosity and fearless determination, as well as a chilling pall of a cold blooded individual who would not hesitate to snap this young mans neck in public view.

He replaced his cig, never wavering his gaze from the young man before him.

"Keep staring like that, kid, and someone might think your trying to pick a fight." Ryuu did not speak up immediately, instead he continued to calmly look back at the giant guy that towered over him. The guy had decked out another guy a few moments ago, and said guy was now sprawled out at the feet of the giant guy, who had a cigarette in his hand. Ryuu's gaze never wavered from the guy's gaze, even as the guy's calm, placid blue eyes showed nothing but cold animosity and fearless determination. But just as Ryuu was about to speak, he darted forward, charging right at the giant guy, as he pulled his right arm back, looking like he was going to attack him without any reason. As soon as Ryuu got close enough, he fired his right arm in a quick jab, but his fist was not aiming for the guy, instead, it was aimed for the guy that had snuck up silently behind Jeremy.

Ryuu's fist connected with the guy's face with a sickening crunch, breaking the guy's nose, as blood began to pour from the guy's nose while he was sent flying backwards, and landed on the ground hard, his head making a sickening crack. Ryuu calmly straightened up, and looked over at the guy. "I do not pick fights aimlessly. I only pick fights when it is necessary. I sometimes fight for fun, but beyond that, I do not seek fights out when it is unnecessary. I will not however, deny a challenge, or a spar even. You seem like you could give me a good challenge," Ryuu said calmly, his arms by his sides, "You are free to deny or ignore this, but how about a challenge?" Ryuu continued to look calmly at the guy, unfathomed by the cold blooded look in his eyes.
