"Ugh.." Trizen felt himself grunt as Gabriel's left hand pinned the right side of his body down. From here, the threat of actually being pummeled was very real and very quick. One swift punch after another, it seemed Trizen would develop abdomen strength by the end of the week -- though it hurt like hell. Trying to protect his body with his left arm, Trizen's eyes searched for a way to counter, it was ridiculous to think he would have been pinned so easily, not to mention there was nothing nearby he could grab. Then his eyes lit. An idea.
Trizen felt the rhythm of Gabriel's blows until he caught one just right. The boy's left hand grabbed Seran's right wrist with his right hand, and secured the hold of his arm with his freer left hand. He then took his eft foot over the top of Seran's right ankle to create another lock. If these three locks were successful, Trizen would continue on.
'Alright...'
Raising his hips straight up, Trizen would attempt to roll to his left to reverse the hold, and being that Mister Seran would be locked, there would not be a way for him to counter, except for his left arm that was still free. If the roll was completed, Trizen would swing his head back and launch it forward to make a strong connection with that of Gabriel's. Sure, it would hurt, but Trizen felt better knowing he would be able to break away from Gabriel for a moment. And he did just that as he pushed off and took a few steps back.

Gabriel felt the fiery passion behind each of his blows as he pounded the man into the ground. They felt weighted with contempt, he didn’t desire to destroy Trizen or harm him too badly but he had to pull his best if the boy was to ever improve. He knew that much Trizen had to be the sacrificial lamb in a sense, lest the others suffer worse things than his own fate.
Gabriels fists clashed he could already feel Trizen’s body tearing and then building up from that to become hardened and even stronger than before. It only took but a moment Trizen had found the flaw in Gabriel’s offense. As he was pulled down a smile lit his face.
*thump*
Feeling the ground was revitalizing, a great sense of accomplishment filled him, though there was still much more to learn. Gabriel turned upright expecting Trizen to punch him but no the man had head butted Gabriel, a move he’d commonly used in his own fights. There was some blood coming out of his nose as the hit impacted into his face. Good.
Eyes drifted copper as the identity of Reven came to be, bringing a knee up Reven smashed the boy in the gut (assuming it would hit), Reven would press the man off of him and stand tall boxing position once again at his feet.

Trizen forehead bled a bit, though that was one hell of a thrust he made at Gabriel's face. If anything, Trizen was trying to get out, now things were beginning to get a little seriously. Overly serious. Yes, he understood the importance of training, but if Gabriel was pulling back in strength the way he was, Trizen wondered what it would be like against the likes of someone who would not hold back at all. Someone who would have taken Trizen's life without thought or whim of a flinch.
Whatever the outcome, Trizen did not expect the sudden blow to the gut made by Gabriel's knee, though by now he already was looking for a way out. Now that there was distance between the two of them, the boy made sure not to take his eyes off him again. Trizen calculated his surroundings by vibe and peripheral.
'Something tells me we're not just training anymore...' the freshman thought to himself as Gabriel's eyes changed colour. The fifteen year old held his stomach for a moment and toughened up as he was reading the ever-changing Mr. Seran. Whatever mood he was in, it looked less civil, less tactful and certainly very shady. '...Do I want to find out what this is?'
Keeping his eyes on the one known as Reven, Trizen mimicked his stance with a slight hint of Jeet Kune Do. The boy liked to move though wondered what Gabriel would do next. In order to find out, Trizen would make a quick dash make and make one small bounce before making a full roundhouse kick incoming to the left side of Gabriel's torso.

Reven watched and waited never giving himself away, to Trizen he was still the ever-present, Gabriel Seran but on another level he was the murderous cruel Reven Eid, a figment of mist and shadow, of blood and tears. Trizen proceded to attack with a fully extended roundhouse kick…too slow, Reven had the leg in his grasp in a short flash before he’d pick the boy up and hurtle him around and into the side of the wall.
Gabriel may have been subconsciously holding back, but now under the influence of his “subconscious” there was little to pin him back, to shieth him from the onslaught to come. Reven directed two well placed kicks into Trizen’s side.
“Never let them catch you in pain, never let yourself be caught lying down, for they will not give you mercy…and I certainly will not either.” Reven spoke with intent, his voice dark. He never had a mind for this though now he wanted the same goal as Gabriel and now worked with him rather than against.

When Trizen's leg was caught, he felt a sudden rush of fear as he knew something was off about Gabriel. He didn't know what it was, but it certainly was not the kind of training session the freshman was anticipating.
Shot back some distance by the throw, Trizen's body slammed hard into the wall and hit the ground just as fast. It was almost impossible to think Trizen would get any stronger from this. It was clearly something else -- though he couldn't think of what. The boy was too busy trying to recover from what just happened.
"Sh--" Trizen clenched his teeth together as Reven kicked him twice. It was clear, Gabriel was much stronger than Trizen, and the boy was not even sure how much he would be able to muster. But if the guy was not about to let him go, the wild haired boy was gonna have to try and make his move in boldness knowing well he probably would be really, very sore in the weeks to come.
Gritting his teeth, the young one struggled to stay upright as his legs began to move out of pure willpower. Trizen clearly was not prepared for this sort of strength, or rigidity, but he was not about to stay down because of it. The Takano boy had to prove he was not simply a talker when it came to defending what he believed in to the ground. Taking a breath through his nostrils, Trizen was obviously shaken but determined to stand. He stared straight at Reven, not blinking for a moment as the boy would be only a few feet from him as he stood on his own two feet.

Gabriel’s eyes flickered back now as the copper iris’s faded back to a clear emerald sparkling. It would seem as if his stature became less rigid and more formal as Gabriel came to his full height and bowed.
“Congratulations… you’ve passed round one of the training.” Gabriel said with a smile
All traces of Reven were gone besides the bloodstained nails that had gripped fiercely into his palm. The two were on an even level now both wanted the same thing….everything! (ooc: sorry gotta cut this a bit short but rematch again soon k?)

((Sounds cool. So... I still get the experience for this???))
Trizen stood with more of a confused feeling if anything. Was this to prove that Trizen was not all talk? If that was the case, the boy figured he was lucky he was alive. Thinking back, Takano was very much lucky to be alive, especially after that incident with the Dragons months ago.
The young one still never kept his eyes of Gabriel who seemed a bit more... relaxed -- if that was the word to use. His posture was different and everything seemed a little less hostile. Very much so. Trizen didn't bother to say anything that would further his damage. The boy had taken quite the beating and now he knew he would pay the price once the adrenaline started dying down. So instead, the boy limped over to his discarded belongings, picked them up and swung his back over his very sore right shoulder. This was by no means an exaggeration when he said he'd fought through a war with survival.
'So... this is what training's gonna be like?' he thought as he nodded at Gabriel once before making his way towards the exit. 'I wonder if I'm doing the right thing...'
