The Jester was a good negotiator, but Adrian had already figured that out from the fight of days before. He had done the wealthy boy a favor then, and was calling it in now. As such, Adrian felt obligated to give the Pillar the information he requested. Adrian usually didn't lie unless he had to, and right now, it didn't feel prudent to withhold anything from Damien, especially considering the dearth of information there was.
"Look, Mr. Kross," Adrian began, dropping his fork and placing both hands to either side of his plate, a display of neutrality. "I'm not exactly sure what it is you WANT to hear from me, but here are the exact details of the night. I met Kate earlier in the week. We flirted. I asked her out for Friday. She bet me she could beat me up. I took the bet, and we speculated the winner would be the loser's personal pet for the night. She beat the hell out of me, and I lost the bet. I went to her place early to help pick out a swimsuit for the party, it was that Beach Party you probably heard Mathew talk about over the intercom. We flirted some more, hung out, went to eat, went to the party, and I stayed the night."
It was a long string of words and information, and so, Adrian paused, giving the Pillar a chance to digest it all. He was soon to get to the part that he assumed the boy wanted to hear. "Did I kiss her? Yes, and she kissed me as well." One more pause, and Adrian looked Damien dead in the eye to ensure he understood the sincerity of his statements. "We did NOT, however, go any farther than that. This I tell you in full confidence."
