Shopping is win (Open)

Linda was walking around the Avenues with her purse over her shoulder and her stunner shades on her face. Something about today just screamed it was time for shopping. Lately Linda had been feeling kind of sick, and so it was good to get outside for once for a shopping spree.

Her purse, Juicy Couture. Her glasses, Juicy Couture as well. Linda may be well off, but today she was taking full advantage of the sun and fresh air, and thus, strutted her stuff so to speak. Pacing down the side walk she caught a familiar face....

[Kate]

Kate was shopping of course. A new town meant she needed some new clothing. New shoes, new dresses, new everything!! And with her bank account that was something the blonde could handle with ease. She was wearing normal clothing, for Kate. A pair of white slacks, green snake heels, dark green tank, white purse. Her own shades were on top of her head, and those emerald eyes were peering around.

However, in the start of her little shopping spree... Kate noticed a face. This face she knew very well. They had ran into each other in each of the major places in Kate's life, this one apparently was not different. Linda was here. Of course Kate should have realized that Linda would be here too, because of the Reapers trying to take over this place as well... but she just hadn't put together two and two.

"LINDA!!!"

Yeah, Kate was almost acting like a school girl. The only person she really considered herself decently close to was Linda. Now she was waving and almost running toward her friend.

Linda turned her head in the direction of where she thought her name was called.

Zomg.... it was Kate!

"KATIE!!!!!!!!!!" Linda yelled running toward her friend, thank god she wasn't wearing heels, Linda had no running skills in heels at all.

Linda was shocked, she didn't know Kate had transferred out this far north too! Struggling to contain herself as she ran, Linda squealed.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! How are you!?!?" She yelled as she came up and hugged her friend, embracing her tightly. With Kate now here Linda felt a little better.

Hug via the bone dragon was always bone cracking. Well, at least almost bone cracking. Kate returned the hug with a huge smile all the same. Once the embrace was over she moved back and laughed out loud. Great minds think alike right?

"I'm good Linda, very good. I should have known you would be here too. How are you?"

Yeah, she left it hanging in the air about the Reapers. The blonde knew that they were both in the Reapers, but she wasn't about to go saying that out loud in a busy street. She pointed at a nearby shop, grinning almost ear to ear.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say you were here to shop. Since that's what I was doing, can I tag along with you?"

Kate was shopping too, go figure. Great minds do think alike.

"Can you go shopping with me? Pfft! Hell I would be honored if you would go blow obscene amounts of money with me!" Linda smiled at Kate.

It had begun, the destined shoppers would now blow money like nobodies business. Linda looked around behind Kate and such, as if she was looking for someone or being shady.

"You wouldn't happen to have you entourage with you somewhere would you? I don't think us ladies should carry any bags." Linda said with a smile. She had big plans for shopping today, huge plans.

Kate was wondering why Linda was looking around, but that question was shortly answered. The other girl knew Kate all too well. She lifted her cell phone, flipped it open, and quickly spoke into it.

"Croaker, One Eye, come carry some bags for us pretty please."

She didn't have to worry about them finding her and Linda. Soon enough the two 'shadows' were standing right behind the two girls. Both were rather big, Croaker a little bit more so than One Eye (who really only had one eye). Both were suited, and not smiling. Kate supposed that carrying bags wasn't something they were exactly looking forward to do. But oh damn well.

"I wanted a new wardrobe for the new city. A fresh new look and all that jazz."

Promptly she linked her arm with Linda's and headed into the first shop on the left. She had all day, and it sounded like Linda did as well. They would hit every damned store on all the streets and areas if they felt like it.

"Anything you looking for?"

"I'm looking for the exact same thing you are, new wardrobe for a new city. I'm thinking, shoes, clothes, accessories, and the whole shabang!" Linda answered Kate's question as they two girls entered the store.

"Oh... My... God... Kate look at these Shoooooooeezzzz!" Linda shrieked as she ran up to some black stilettos that were on display up in the front of the store.

"These are freaking hot! We should get some for school don't you think?" Linda asked Kate with a smile as she picked up the shoe and searched it for a price tag.

Picking the shoe up, Linda looked inside the box below it, still searching for the ever elusive price tag.

Linda was acting like a school girl, which was all fine and dandy because they were having fun. Kate hadn't really gone shopping with anyone besides... Kyr. But that was a long time ago, almost in a different word it seemed. The black heels were something every girl should have. Staples to a wardrobe. Those full lips twisted and smirked as Kate nodded.

"Of course! I have a thing for heels."

That was an understatement, as Kate loved her high heels. She could run, lunge, leap in the things if she absolutely had to. Kate chuckled under her breath and looked at Linda, who was searching for a price tag.

"If there isn't a price tag, we can always go up front and ask someone."

She picked up another set of heels, a deep silver 4 inch set, with gems set on the strap across the toes. Kate loved things like that. And just in her size too! Shoes were something every woman loved, because they would always fit.

"Bah" Linda replied casually.

"If there isn't a price tag it is either one of two things. Free, or really expensive."

Linda grinned ear to ear, taking the box and shoes up with her to the register.

"Um excuse me," Linda asked the lady at the front desk, "I would like to get these in every color you have."

The women stared at Linda blankly, then sighed. "Alright, what is your shoe size?"

"Eight and a Half!" She shouted with glee! It was time to continue with this shopping spree.

[Kate]

Every single color? Linda was out to buy a ton of stuff. Kate grinned, and put aside her silver heels. Croaker would keep an eye on them, just in case another shopper decided to try and buy her purchases. She moved instead to the dresses, and picked up a slinky little black thing. It was a sheath dress with a V in the front for some deep cleavage and then a bigger V in the back with strands of pearls done across. It made it classy, despite the shortness of the dress.

"Linda! Look at this! It'd go awesome with your shoes!!!"

In fact it would look amazing on the other girl. After all, Linda's cleavage out did her own. The only other female who could do such a thing, after all. The blonde smiled, and continued to hold it up for her friend, waiting for the other girl to come and meet her.

"I'm not sure if they have it in a bunch of different colors though."

A chuckle, a little light teasing. Nothing to offend Linda or anything.

"Hmmm?" Linda questioned her shopping buddy with a smile. She walked over to Kate who was holding a sexy lil' thang.

"Oh my god, that is soooo hot! You are totally right! I need that with my black heels!" Linda said examining the dress Kate was referring to. Kate had some good taste in clothing, always a good quality to have in a shopping buddy.

Linda turned to her left, noticing a silver version of the black dress Kate had suggested Linda buy.

"Hey check this out Katie." Linda said as she held up her new find. "It comes in other colors too!"

Silver was Kate's thing. Silver and white, at least lately. She seemed to feel... sexier somehow when she was wearing those colors. Green and blue things to help add it along, but in those colors she just felt classy and perfect. So of course she picked up the silver version of the dress with a smile. Such a wonderful looking thing, it would go just right with her heels.

"I always buy these formal dresses, and then have barely any places to wear them too..."

Just a statement, but was that going to stop Kate from buying the dress? Oh hell no! The girl quickly placed it with the shoes and walked back to where her friend was standing.

"If you find anything you like, just put it next to my stuff. The boys will watch it."

She nodded over to Croaker and One Eye, who were milling about trying to look all big and bad in the women's clothing store. It wasn't working very well, now was it? Kate giggled just a bit and smiled at Linda, glad to be with a friend.

"Ooooo, big strong men are useful!" Linda giggled as she walked over to One Eye and handed him her black dress. That dress was going to look absolutely stunning with Linda's new black heels. Linda almost had a melt down thinking about all the cool stuff she and Kate were getting.

Then... something caught her eye.

"Katie.... Do.. you... see... what... I see...?" Linda asked in an odd manor, just staring and pointing at a whole display of Knee High UGGZ!

Kate's eyebrows lifted as she looked at where Linda was pointing. Knee high Uggz, which were an interesting sort of thing. See, Kate would indeed say that everyone needed at least one pair in their wardrobe. Were they her favorite? No, far from it. She liked a simple pair of heels more than anything else. However, the blonde picked up a pair of light brown Uggz all the same. Her exact size, and her eyes wandered over something else that was knee high.

An interesting pair of shoes, converse, knee high. Gray with paint purposely splattered all over them. They weren't exactly classy, but Kate was willing to call them rather bad ass. She found a pair in her size as well, and dumped both boots on her growing stack of things. One Eye had gently placed Linda's dress on one arm, careful not to do anything to it what so ever.

"This place is a pretty good spot, I have a feeling were going to be regulars."

She smiled and tucked strands of hair behind her ears. The pale girl pointed at some bracelets she liked. The thick chunky sort of metal with crystals embedded into them at perfect rectangular spots. Pretty stuff.

Linda noticed Kate's expression was rather... Ugg-lacking. Meh, tis was ok... More Uggz for LINDA! The Juicy wearing half-Asian walked over to the Ugg display and grabbed two pairs for herself. One pair, tall knee high and white, the other knee high and black with fur around the top. Uggs were just too sexy. She walked over and added the boots to her and Kate's growing pile of goodies.

She took note that the lady was still not back with all her pairs of shoes... pity. Linda was really curious just all what colors they had those heels in. She stood at the counter, tapping her foot.. expecting her goodies.
