Fighting Like a Girl (Kate)

[Fei Long]

Let's make a checklist here:

1. You run into pretty girl.

2. Pretty girl wants to fight.

3. Pretty girl turns into Supergirl.

4. Manged to hurt Supergirl, and walk away from death.

5. Supergirl wants to offer you something.

Fei Long eyed her closely as she moved ever closer to him. For once, he became a bit weary of a girl moving into his personal space. Why? Because he had found out first hand that this one was powerful. A girl this powerful had to have a mind behind it too. Otherwise she wouldn't have been able to use her looks to her advantage so well.

And so well, she did.

"I'd say what's in it for you? What do you get by making me a front runner around here?"

[Kate]

She licked her lips and smiled slowly. This sort of spread across her lips that suggested all sorts of naughty things. The blonde looked up at him with a tilt of the head, her hands still on his shirt.

"I'm one of those who likes fun, darling. And introducing you around, getting you swimming in my circles sounds like a whole load of fun."

She leaned backward and just smiled at him. Those emerald eyes were dancing. Kate removed her hands, tucking her thumbs into her jean belt loops.

"So what do you say cutie, want in on some of the most painful bit of fun you'll have in your life?"

She was setting him up. Setting him up to join in the gang, the Reapers. Another one to be brought into the flock.

Fei Long tilted his head downwards just slightly, enough to catch her emerald gaze looking back up at him. There were certain things that always garnered Tiao Fei Long's attention. Among them were women, power, and fame. Kate released her hold on his shirt, taking a step back after her reply to his inquiry.

He continued to eye her, his eyes narrowing slightly to make him look the stereotypical angry asian. No more than a few seconds later his eyes would open back up, as a cocky smirk once again crawled up on his face. Slipping his hands in his pockets, Fei Long shrugged his shoulders forward, allowing his gaze to move over more of Kate's features than just her eyes once more.

"What the hell. I'll give it a try."

[Kate]

She grinned, and plucked a a card from a pocket. It was cream colored, with her name and her phone number on it. She held it out for him. If he took it, then all was well. If he didn't, then she'd put it back in her pocket rather disappointed.

"I'll be having a party soon, call me in the next couple of days so I have your number."

That's right, Kate hadn't thrown a party in forever. She was going to be throwing one soon though. Her last had really been with... Damien. Kate just smiled and lifted an eyebrow at Fei. Would he be game for it?

"I'm sure a good amount of people will be there."

And almost all of them Reapers. Yes, this would be interesting indeed.

[Fei Long]

Fei Long reached out with his right hand, gripping the card inbetween his index and middle finger. As he brought his hand back, he flipped the card between his fingers, pointing it face up towards him. Fei Long looked at it, more than a little amused.

The girl's got business cards? Exactly who am I getting into bed with here...

Not everything was boding so well, but the bait was still too tasty for Fei Long to refuse. He nodded to Kate, slipping the card into the same pocket as his phone so next time he pulled out his phone he'd remember to call Kate, as if he could forget a girl like that. Keeping his hands in his pockets, Fei Long smiled one more time at Kate before he'd make his leave, assuming she'd do the same.

"It'll be interesting to see what circles a girl like you hangs around in. I'll see you later, then."
