Sara looked at the piece of paper in her hand. He had written his number down on it for her. And who was HE you might ask? No, it wasn't a hot date. Serafion. Such an odd name. But something about him pushed her to do this, to take him up on his proposal that she train him. There was just something about him. He showed potential. A lot of it. She really thought he might be able to pull this off and become a really good fighter. But it was the qi he was looking for.
The only problem was, Sara was still new to her own qi. She thought he could use some work on his fighting, and that, she could help him with. But qi? That might be more Matrims area. But she wasn't about to let this one go. Not when she had a chance like this presenting itself.
She punched the number into her phone. She would text him, not call. It seemed that everyone set up training sessions that way. So she would to. He had said he would make time, and now she had time. So this was good. He better show up though, or she was going to be pissed.
Meet me at the park in half an hour, by the lake. We start then. Sara.
Simple. To the point. She pressed the send button then hung her head, taking a deep breath. She hoped she was doing the right thing here. She leaned back against the tree. Ya, she was already in the park. Good for her. The sun was getting low. It was still light, but it would be dark soon. The park was slowly emptying, and it was for that reason she had chosen night. She didn't want a repeat of the last fight she had had in the park. Not that she intended to... do it... with him, but she didn't need people watching them fight. It only caused problems. She looked out over the small pond. It was a nice spot.

"Which park? Oh well... I find her no matter what. This is just part of training." He said, making his way through town. He walked by a childrens park, but knowing that wasn't the place he kept going. Then he saw a large park, one that probably had a lake in it. After passing a hot dog vendor and getting something to eat, he and his belly's new friend made their way through the park, exploring it. He was about halfway done with the hotdog when he saw a small pond, and a girl sitting by a tree. It was a nice spot from the looks of it, and she seemed somewhat... peaceful.
He approached slowly, still holding the last half of the hot dog, slipping his left arm out of his jacket, and then grabbing the dog with the left hand as he slid his right arm out of the jacket, gripping it by the collar and flinging it over his right shoulder, his sunglasses still on as he made his way towards Sara, "It is nice day for fighting. You did good job at picking time and place, lots of room, lots of beauty, and water nearby to wash blood off of my body."
That's right, he knew he would bleed. He was somewhat counting on it happening. He took another bite of the hot dog, looking down towards his teacher and awaiting instructions.

Sara heard him approach by the rustle of his jacket. She turned her head and watched him switch the food he was holding between hands and then toss it over his shoulder. Smooth. Very smooth. She pushed herself to her feet, her hands digging into the pockets of the black sweat pants she had worn as she turned towards the lake. She wanted to be able to move for this. She didn't know what to expect, but she thought she might need to use all her agility.
She didn't turn to look at him as he spoke, but her eyes did widen slightly at the mention of washing blood off in the lake. They narrowed quickly and she gave him another few minutes to eat some of his hot dog. Then she turned to him, her hands leaving her pockets to unzip her jacket.
She pulled it off, speaking to him. "Well... I was going to ask you if you were sure about this again, but after that comment, I'm guessing that would be a pointless thing to ask." She turned away, dropping her jacket at the base off the tree. She was wearing a black tank top. Yes, a tanktop. She wanted mobility here, the fact that the burn scar was showing didn't bother her. At all. It might even be good for him to see that. She also slipped off her shoes. She could see why Matrim did it now. She had no good running shoes... Despite what one might think, Sara did care about how she looked, and she thought running shoes looked bad on her. So she had none. All the shoes she had would slow her down slipping off her feet.
Turning back to him, hands on her hips, she spoke. "Well, first thing were gunna do is-" And then she threw herself at him, her right arm coming up, bent at the elbow in front of her, straight, to catch him across his abdomen, and hopefully take him down, with her landing on top of him, straddling him. Her left hand would go for his neck, her right held loosely at her side, open, finger clawed for what she would do next. "You have to be more on guard first off." Then she would bring her hand down closer to his face, and activate her qi, the familiar green wind flowing over her skin again. Without stopping, she would then tap his face. His head would be hit with an insane amount of force, slamming back into the ground.
If he passed out, she would get off him and wait to see if he got up. Chances were, he wasn't. In which case, she would leave him there. Ya, it was cruel. But he needed to learn that if he couldn't get past one attack, then he wasn't worth her time. Even in her first session she lasted longer then that... Didn't she? It didn't matter, if he was out, training was done for the day. If he was still there, she would roll off him to the side, gaining her feet quickly, and giving him the chance to fight back. Couldn't break them if they felt there was no hope right? Oh yeah. She could do this, wasn't that hard...

"Well, first thing were gunna do is-" And like that the girl launched at Serafion. He saw this coming, well... sort of. He was finishing his hot dog, and some part of him always knew he wouldn't end up with the last of the hot dog. Although he had wondered if the girl would steal the last of his hot dog for training. Anyway, elbow connected and the hot dog went flying away, fly away meaty goodness! Be free! Go off and become dog food for some lucky pooch!
She was straddling him now, and he was reminded of his fight with Kate, his body starting to warm up and his heart beat quickening. One of her hands got his neck, and the other was out of his vision at the time, "You have to be more on guard first off."
Serafion was confused. It was training, someone usually said 'start' or 'go' or possibly even shot a starter pistol. In any case her Qi hit his head, his head hit the dirt, and just like that....
Serafion was out like a lamp.

Sara looked down at him. She had been right. He was out. She sighed, looking around to make sure no one had seen what had just happened. Calming herself, her qi deactivating, she walked back to the tree and slipped her shoes back on.
She wasn't going to stick around. Not happening. The guy got himself knocked out, and it wasn't her problem. Still... She looked back at him. She wasn't that sort of person, she couldn't just leave him there... She felt bad. She felt mean. Atleast it was a clean knock out... Right? She should check that.
Dropping down next to his left side, she grabbed his right side and pulled him over adjusting his arms and legs so he was laying comfortably. She had seen others do this to people who had been knocked out. It was supposed to stop them from dying or something. Once that was done she checked his head for blood. There was none that she could see, but there would be a huge lump when he woke up.
By the way... While she was it, might as well check his wallet right...? She patted the pockets of his pants, feeling nothing. Then she remembered the jacket. She pulled it towards her and that was where she found the wallet. She needed to hurry though, didn't need him waking up while she was doing this. She went through the wallet quickly. There was stupid guy stuff in it. Condoms. Why the hell do guys carry condoms? It just didn't make sense. When they came from a wallet, they were never safe. Then some money, both Russian and American. Sara had an obsession with other countries, so she stole some of his Russian money. Not a lot. Just enough to add to her collection. She looked back to him. The guy was actually kind of cute. She blushed, and looked away. Even if he had walked up in here like an idiot and got himself knocked out, she was still happy to see his enthusiasm to learn qi. Hopefully the speed with which she had beaten him would only fuel that enthusiasm.
There was another piece of paper to. With a number on it. Kate McHallin. Wasn't that...? Sara felt a snake of... Let's call it anger, flow through her. She leaned back, pulling her jacket to her. She pulled out a pen, and scribbled a large ex through the name and number, and then wrote "Sara" and her own number on it. Thar.
That was when she checked his ID. 14 years old. She looked from the card to the guys face. No way... There was no way he was only 14... She hung her head. Damn. Well so much for that. But hey, at least he had her number now. She stuffed the wallet back in his pocket, slipped on her jacket and walked away. She felt kinda bad. She had just knocked out a 14 year old... What the hell was wrong with her?

When Serafion woke up he had been moved. He got up slowly, and grabbed his coat, getting up he put it on and looked around, not finding any trace of Sara, but he pulled out his wallet because it felt like it was in a strange way. Looking in it he found that stuff had been moved around and...
"She robbed me of my Russian money? What was point in this?" He then noticed some pen markings on the card Kate had given him. Her name and number were crossed out and replaced by Sara's own. He smiled at this, and put his wallet away. His phone already had Kate's number programmed in, but taught Serafion a lot about Sara. For instance Sara clearly was jealous of Kate. Why else would she have done this? And if Kate had her own guy, Serafion would leave her to it. He could find his own girl.
It was clear that she had beaten him, and in fact in record time too. He was embarrassed of his defeat, he would not allow such an easy win take place again.
(Surprisingly quick end to thread?)
