At a bar again. Who would’ve guessed? She blamed it all on the dip shit who cheated on her. She really had to stop doing that. Every time she thought about him…about their supposed ‘love’…and how just randomly he threw her away because he decided to cheat on her with some Sara chick, Reira got very, very, pissed off. She felt used. She felt like all the time her and Matrim spent together was a waste, that it meant nothing…that she was nothing. Not to mention that Matrim even-- “--PROPOSED to me!!! ARGH!!!” And there went her drink, right into the wall. Course the bartender at this club was startled, but she quickly regained her composure and slipped away before he could even gather who had done such an uncivil act. Not like this club didn’t see plenty of uncivil things. If you took only a look at the place people were going crazy everywhere. The whole floor was alive with dancing people, the music was loud and it was just high energy. Reira didn’t really fit in with all the ‘happy’ folk, but at least she looked like it with what she was wearing. It wasn’t anything special, but meh, its not like she was out to impress anyone. Hell, she felt like picking a fight with someone, just to release some of her pent up rage. Err she probably wouldn’t win, seeing as how she was rather tipsy, but meh. “You going to order something or what,” said the bartender. He looked at her more closely. “Hey…weren’t you the one who broke my glass?!” Reira’s glossed lips smiled at him. She was sitting crossed legged on a stool, her hair falling in brown curls over her back. “Course not sweety, now why don’t you hit me up with some more shorts of tequila, yah?” The bartender huffed at her and gave her what she wanted. Good man. Taking another shot, she suddenly had the urge to dance.

(OOC: Takes place AFTER the thread between Matrim, Sara and Travis)
--PROPOSED to me!!! ARGH!!!
Travis hadn't really been paying much attention to what was happening around him. At least not until he heard that and glanced over, only to see a glass go flying by his head, shattering upon the wall. Travis was about to say something, but the girl who had thrown it slipped out of sight, probably to try and hide from the bartender. Travis simply shoot his head for a moment, and then dropped those icy blue eyes down to the three shots he had in front of him right now. All filled to the top of Jack Daniel's Whiskey. He picked one up, and downed it as his mind began to wander.
This male couldn't exactly say that he was happy with his current situation. Hell he was crushed. He had never expected Sara to cheat on him, he had thought things were going well. But apparently he was wrong. He couldn't help but feel as if he had been the one to do something wrong. And it had been with Matrim no less, whom Travis definitely couldn't say he had been getting a long with. He didn't quite understand why it happened. He had thought he was doing all the right things. It was going so good for a short time. Now it was all falling to pieces. He still hadn't been back to the apartment to pick his stuff up. Another shot slid down the back of Travis' throat, eyes closing as he passed through.
Travis couldn't say he was much of a dance club person, but he had known there would be alcohol here. And this just happened to be the first place he drove by. It was better then nothing, but he couldn't exactly say he was dressed up to impress the ladies. After all, the last thing he really wanted on his mind right now was a girl. Though, you never know. He felt a little spiteful toward Sara for what she had done. He thought maybe it would help to get him over her. But he wasn't just going out and looking for it. He just wanted to drink himself stupid tonight. The third shot was finished, and Travis pushed himself from his stool, and steadied himself before he glanced over and caught his eyes on a rather hot female. At least.. He hoped she was hot. He was pretty hammered right now. He had been here for at least an hour now.
As soon as he prepared himself to walk, Travis moved across the bar toward the female as she sat on the her stool. He'd stop right next to her, his left hand knocking on the bar counter to get the tender's attention. Having heard what the girl ordered earlier, Travis would speak up. First to the bartender, and then he would turn to face the unknown female at his right. He was still pretty good at controlling his speech, and so he wasn't slurring all over the place just yet. But boy did he feel confident. That was Travis though, he was always full of pride and confidence.
"Can I get a shot of Whiskey, and a shot of Tequila.. And can I get you're name?"

As she was waiting for the tender to get what she ordered, Reira began to spin a few times in her chair. That was the one bad thing about her and alcohol, she just couldn’t keep still. She felt restless, and her emotional situation didn’t really help her in that sense, but hey, at least she had a fun spinny chair right? Turning the chair back to face the bar, she just so happened to glance at the guy to her left. It was only a glance, but she already knew what type of boy he was.
Ha was a handsome fellow that much was for sure. And based on stereotypical theories, she’d say he was the type of person that knew he was hot and used it. Reira made a note to be wary or him…but then again, wasn’t she hot and didn’t she know how to use her looks to get what she wanted? Didn’t she just do that with the bartender? Hmm, that thought eluded her, but the point was she was interested in him.
Straightening her back, she focused her attention on the bartender, or so it seemed. She was actually watching the distraction to her left through her peripherals, glancing over at him every now and then to send him a small look with her cerulean eyes. He was attempting to walk? It sure looked liked it, she wished him luck. And she only whished him luck if he was walking to come sit beside her, if not, may curses fall on him.
Oh good, he was lucky. Reira knew he was sitting beside her now, but paid him no heed, at least for now. Instead she was digging in her purse for her lip gloss. Once she found it, she applied it and in the midst of her application he asked for her name. She puckered her lips once and put the gloss away.
“I don’t know stranger, why should I give you my name,” she said, with a flirtatious smile. Whether he answered or not, she’d tell him. “It’s Reira DeMorvick. Do I get the pleasure of knowing yours?” He was such a lovely distraction!
Their alcohol had arrived and Reira immediately went to shoot down two of her four shots. Damn, this would do her good. Just to see how far she could go without being caught, she adjusted her position so that her crossed legs were slightly brushing against his.
“I don’t suppose you dance, do you?”
She gave him a small grin.

It’s Reira DeMorvick. Do I get the pleasure of knowing yours?
"Sure, but you gotta drink that shot first."
Travis would smile back at her, and wait patiently for his alcohol to come. He was actually a little surprised he was doing this. He almost felt a little paranoid, wondering if Sara somehow found him, what she's say or do. But he quickly shook the thoughts of her's out of his head. She cheated on him, she had no right to tell him what to do right now. And there was no way he was going to let her dwell on his mind after what he had done, right? Wrong.. He had loved Sara. But he had already given her a warning after he had seen her get all snuggly with Matrim with Travis was fighting an 8 foot tall giant of a man, DEFENDING HER!
"I'm Travis. Travis Delmonte."
His head would tilt back downward, toward the girl for a moment. he couldn't help but take in her beauty, and the rest of the package that came with it. Yeah, she was definitely a winner. At least, he hoped she was. Sometimes the beer goggles could cause problems, but at this moment she looked fine. Travis would feel something brush against his jeans, and he'd glance down and crack a smile of his. He'd have to be stupid to think she wasn't interested. Unless he was too drunk, and just happened to be getting the wrong signals. No, he believed she was interested. And it was confirmed when she spoke.
I don’t suppose you dance, do you?
"Only if it's with you."
He'd toss her a little wink, and glance toward the bar tender once more. He was contemplating whether or not he should get another shot. Travis was suppose to drive home, after all he had his motorcycle parked outside.. But that probably wasn't going to happen. He'd probably have to take a cab home anyways, so he decided he'd just go all out at this very moment. He'd knock on the table and ask for another shot.
And then he would take a step forward, turning to face that girl as he held his right hand out toward her. He'd wait to take his shot later, right now Reira wanted to dance. And oddly enough, Travis had the sudden urge to dance. Whether she took his hand and lead him toward the crowd, or let him take the lead, these two were heading out into the floor.

He was telling he to drink her shots?! That was funny. Oh Reira would drink them, there was no doubt about that. Right now, alcohol was her life, cause as she saw it she had nothing. All the happiness in her life disappeared in mere minutes. She had no friends here, no one to confide in really, and she didn’t even have a place to stay. Only money…but money could only take her so far. And so, alcohol was her absolute best friend! The fake happiness it provided her with was better then feeling empty.
Four shots down, plus previous shots to back it up. Oh yeah, she was feeling pretty happy. Who knows, maybe Travis would show her a fun time. It would help to keep her mind off things. There was really nothing to feel guilty about in her mind. Matrim made the mistake not her. And as she saw it, she wouldn’t pay for that mistake. Of course, it hurt, but what could she do? Reira was going to move on and try her best not to ask ‘what could have been.’
The introductions were made quickly. The alcohol consumed. What were they waiting for?
"Only if it's with you."
A small blush formed on her cheeks as she laughed slightly. “Really now? I guess I have my work cut out for me!” Well that was encouraging!
Forgetting about his shot, he offered his hand to her and she couldn’t help but smile. Slipping her hand in his, she followed him onto the dance floor. It was packed with dancing bodies and Reira found herself pressed very close to him, which oddly enough was totally fine with her. In fact, it didn’t take her long to get into the groove of things.
With people to her left, her right and even behind her, the only place to move was forward, closer to Travis. The music compelling her, she grabbed his hands and turned around, placing his hands on her stomach. Looking over her shoulder, she grinned at him. Then her hips began to sway.

Really now? I guess I have my work cut out for me!
Travis lead the girl out through the crowd, moving back and fourth between the bodies movie. The energy was something Travis wasn't really use to. But he was drunk right now, and he was just about up for anything and it didn't look like he was going to lack any company either. Atleast for a a few hours. Travis needed it. He felt so lonely because of the fact that he was no longer with Sara. He had gotten so use to seeing her all day, and going to bed with his arms wrapped around her. While he may not get something like that tonight, at least talking to her was going to help. He needed some kind of attention. He had no real friends.
Soon enough they came to a spot where they could get a little space. Wasn't much, and he had been aware of just how close the girl had been to him the whole time. He was trying not to keep it too close to his mind. After all, it wasn't like be brought girls home on a regular basis or anything like that. While he definitely wasn't going to push it, but certain things couldn't stop from popping into Travis' head. Especially when Reira turned her back to him, and his hands touched her flesh. He'd press himself forward a bit, his head close to the side of hers and he'd begin to move with her.
"Heh. You're pretty good."
Travis would keep himself close, moving with sync with her when he had spoke just loud enough for her to hear him. His hands would slide across her body slightly. He was definitely enjoy himself right now. He was buzzed, and he was touchy feeling with a girl he didn't even know. And it was only just beginning. He was having fun, and he hoped it wouldn't end to soon. He was having a good time out for the first time in awhile. Thoughts of Sara came to mind again, but it wasn't going to change anything.. She had done something he warned her not to do before.

It never really filtered through her mind that maybe this was all a huge mistake. Until now. The way his hands slid across her body made her bite her lip with the shivers coursing though her. Travis was a stranger. All she knew was his name, yet she allowed him to touch her, welcomed it. She wanted it…because the way he touched her now made her feel wanted…like she was worth something. It may not have made sense to anyone else, but it made perfect sense to her. It may not have been the same loving touch she felt from Matrim, but at least now she didn’t feel so abandoned.
Whether this was a mistake or not, she did not care anymore. Reira just wanted to forget. Besides, she was having a lot of fun and she didn’t want it to stop. He was just so..tempting. The part of her that questioned consequences went blank. Whatever would happen tonight she’d have no regrets. Feeling his head to the side of hers, she lifted her chins slightly so that their cheeks were now touching. His hands free to roam, she slid her own around his sides and slipped them into his back pant pockets.
"Heh. You're pretty good."
A suggestive smile touched her lips. “Yeah? You’re not too bad yourself…but I think we can both do a little bit…better.”
She pressed into him just a little bit harder, almost to tease him slightly. The energy on the dance floor didn’t look like it would slow down anytime soon. She was getting rather hot. Her breathing was definitely increasing and as she danced with Travis it took all her will power not to just kiss him right then and there. Was it bad to be having such thoughts and desires?

Yeah? You’re not too bad yourself…but I think we can both do a little bit…better.
Travis had felt her hands move back, and slide into the back pockets of his jeans. This was definitely taking an interesting turn, it wasn't as if Travis had planned this all along or anything like that. While such physical friction was not a bad thing at all, Travis couldn't help but feel that maybe, just maybe this was only happening because of the alcohol. Either way, it still felt pretty damn good. And he couldn't deny himself the pleasure of this dance. He had no idea what was going to happen later, but when she pressed harder against him it overloaded his brain with TONS of images. It felt slightly weird that it was with someone other then Sara.. But she had made a big mistake. Travis wasn't doing anything wrong right now. So he kept it going.
His own hands would slide upward, stopping just above her navel before they dropped back down and slide over that jean skirt of hers, and dipped into her own front pockets. He'd close his eyes for a moment, and listen to the music as he danced. Reira's body was still moving against his, and he would keep motion and just try to match her to the best of his ability. He wasn't the best dancer in the world, but he'd make due with the skills he had. Pressing his own chest forward as the material of his shirt stuck slightly to his body. He too, was getting really hot. Hell, this place was like an oven right now. But he didn't really mind, even though he was working up a sweat, he had no plans to just stop right now.
"Better? Heh.. I think if this got any 'better' they'd call the cops on us."
He'd continue to keep himself close, and his head would shift slightly as he danced with Reira. Those lips of his briefly brushed against the side of her neck, but he quickly pulled them from her flesh. He wasn't exactly sure how she'd react to such a thing. Hell, Travis had done it out of pure instinct, it had pretty much happened before he could think to stop it. It was totally the alcohol, right? Well, it was surely looking like it me a night worth remembering.. Who knew, maybe it would be therapeutic. Maybe it would help to let Travis forget about Sara, and what she had done to him. And at this moment, he was totally overcome by ecstasy.
What a lucky catch! Gah.. Better not get ahead of myself here..
And just when Travis was really getting into the groove of things, the song that was being played stopped. The pace slowed almost immediately as the new song that played was a lot slower. It was a little surprising, that was for sure. But that didn't mean that Reira and Travis had to stop dancing. In fact, Travis hope she wouldn't want to leave him just yet. His hands would slide from her pockets, and he'd place them upon her sides. Turning Reira to face him, Travis' right arm would wrap around her back, and grip her right side. His lips would move, and he'd speak to her again, that little grin of his showing up on his face.
"I hope you'll give me more then one dance.."

Her mind was in a state of bliss. To her it felt like she was in her own separate world. The music was mere background noise and the only thing she could concentrate on was his touch and the way he was making her feel right now. Her legs tensed when he moved his hands over her stomach and back down to rest on her jean pockets. It was driving her crazy, because now she only wanted more. However bad it would have seemed to her had she been sober, this right now just felt so insatiably sweet.
She could only chuckle at his response to her comment about being better. It certainly was true. With the way things were heating up things who knows what could happen. All she knew was she didn’t want it to stop. As their bodies moved in sync with the music she let out a small gasp when she felt him kiss her neck delicately. Her head was spinning. She couldn’t hold back anymore---and then the music stopped. A little disheartened at first, she quickly got into the rhythm of things again. A slow song eh, she could do that. She wasn’t done with him yet.
"I hope you'll give me more then one dance.."
“Oh of course I will hun.” she said with a grin.
Allowing him to turn her around, she wrapped her arms around his neck and began to fall into the slow pace of the song. She smiled at him, continuing to mind her feet. For some reason this felt okay. She couldn’t see anything wrong with her actions…or the action she was about to take. Course, she couldn’t stop herself even if she wanted to. It just sort of happened. Leaning her head forward, her eyes closing, Reira kissed him. It was a small, graceful kiss and once she realized what she was doing, her eyes fluttered opened and she blushed madly.
“..Sorry…I didn't mean too…”
Good one Rei. She was a little bit embarrassed and she couldn't help but make that feeling worse thinking about how he may react.

Oh of course I will hun.
That was the answer that Travis had been looking for. He figured she would have said yes anythings, but he hadn't been 100% sure. Then again, they were both kind of drunk at this time. Maybe it was just the alcohol, or maybe both of them were looking for some kind of physical therapy. In all honesty, Travis was hurting because of what happened to his relationship. He had put a lot into it, and it had only crumbled at his feet. He was just trying to heal, and if this was going to end up helping him, he'd take the chance. And then it came, the kiss he hadn't expected at all really.
And when Reira's lips pulled away from his, he was a little confused. He wasn't really sure what he was suppose to think. It felt odd.. Not in a bad way. She was a good kisser, but the thing that felt so odd about it was that it wasn't with Sara. Maybe he was a little stupid for thinking something like that, but he couldn't help it. And even though it wasn't Sara, he still liked it. He almost moved in right away to give her a kiss in return, but instead she spoke. And Travis' icy blues caught sight of face, and the blush which flooded over her.
..Sorry…I didn't mean too…
He figured he could have said something to her, but he decided not to. After all, didn't actions speak louder then words? Travis leaned in, his left hand grabbing at her side again, his right arm sliding across her back to grab Reira's other side. He'd drop his lips to hers, a kiss of his own would be granted. And he'd hold it there for a little longer then she did, as long as she let him. This was going to be a good night, at least that is how he felt right now. Sara still clung at the edge of his mind, threatening to bring him down. But he wasn't going to let it happen.. She had cheated on him.. Not the other way around.
"I.. Didn't mind it at all."
Travis was growing a little thirsty, and he'd cast a short glance over toward the bar counter, and then drop his head toward the side of her own. His head would tilt slightly once again, and this time those lips would press against her neck, though this time they would be a big more prominent. Maybe it was a bad idea, but Travis couldn't help it. He was getting wrapping up in this, and he was starting to act on impulse. He'd wait a little bit longer, continuing to move slowly, his body still pressed up against his. Those hands of his slowly slide and drop downwards, his fingers a few inches short from the bottom of her skirt. Finally he'd let out another whisper toward her ear.
"Want another drink?"

Did she say she couldn’t see anything wrong with her actions? Well, now she did, especially when he didn’t say anything after her apology. Maybe she was being too forward. When she kissed him she felt strange, like she was doing something daring…like she was cheating on Matrim…she liked it! But accepting that it was over between the two of them was tough. For crying out loud they were engaged and been dating since freshmen year. None of that existed anymore. She felt a sting of pain in her chest and hated herself for making things awkward between her and Travis. All because of Matrim. He ruined everything.
But besides that, the kiss was a good. It was thrilling. The taste and feel of his lips on hers made her crave it all the more. Still, she really wished he would say something, anything really. Reira felt his speculating stare and she couldn’t help but start to shy away. Which totally wasn’t like her. She was usually a very up front woman. To say the least, her body was getting warmer under those eyes of his. Death by embarrassment? Hmm, why not? Smiling nervously, she was about to say something else when she was brutally distracted…in a very, very nice way.
Grabbing and pulling her closer, his lips found hers once again. At first she was quite shocked and failed to respond, but gradually she melted into the kiss and returned it with as much enthusiasm as he was. The kiss was long and exhilarating. After a few more minutes, she broke away from the kiss, breathless.
"I.. Didn't mind it at all."
“I’m glad, because there’s a lot more where that came from.”
The boundaries were gone. She wouldn’t hold back anymore. She couldn’t, not with all the signs her body was giving her. Especially when he kissed her on the neck. Her neck arched, as she let out a small, whisper of a moan. Her hands squeezed his shoulders and slowly slid down his chiselled chest to his belt buckle, pulling his waist closer to hers. Reira was lost in the midst of it all. She wasn’t really aware that people could have been staring at them, but she knew that they couldn’t get any further than this.
"Want another drink?"
“Yeah, sure,” she said, walking over to the bar. What to drink though? Alcohol was nice, but after all that dancing she was leaning more towards something more hydrating. As she leaned against the bar counter deciding on what she wanted, she felt someone slap her ass. Whoa, someone was frisky. Turning around she was thinking that it was Travis, in which case it would be okay, but it wasn’t. Instead it was some blond jock with his equally jocky friends. Why did this always happen to her?
“Hey doll,” the blond said with a stupid grin on his face. “Why don’t you dance with me like you danced with him?---” He made a hand gesture to Travis “--I’m sure I can show you a better time.” Of course, what would a stupid prick like him be without his followers to laugh at his lame assed jokes? Glaring at them all Reira smiled devilishly and turned him down, but not with words. Instead she abruptly picked up a bar stool and smashed him over the head. The poor dear didn’t see it coming.
Okay, so maybe that was a little impulsive, because well..the chair broke. But hey, she had an obsession with chairs. The blond fell to the ground, knocked out cold. Then his friends set their attention on her. “Let’s teach this bitch a lesson!” Pfft they can try. As long as there was more chairs---she looked around.
Ah hell…no more chairs.

Travis felt himself relax when Reira complied with the kiss. No longer was Sara going to intrude on his thoughts this night, no now it was just about the girl before him. He still didn't really know her, but he was a young guy and she was a young girl. She seemed interesting enough, and Travis would definitely like to get to know her a little better. Of course, he wasn't sure how well that would go due to their intoxication. The small talk would most-likely continue later on, if they even made it that far. So far though Travis was happy with his decision to stop here. It hadn't been a bad idea at all.
I’m glad, because there’s a lot more where that came from.
Heh.. I like the sound of that.
The rest of his plan followed through, and those ears of his would catch the sound that escape from between the girl's lips. It had been faint, but he knew what that sound was. And Her hands squeezing, and then setting into motion only helped to further prove that he was indeed a lucky man. Reira was going to be his first step back into recovery, and who knew what he could get out of it. He wasn't exactly sure if he wanted another commitment just yet, but he was sure that there would be plenty of time to figure that kind of thing out at a later time. Just the fact that the girl was responding to him this way, it only helped to push things along with him. Maybe he really didn't need Sara..
While Travis certainly hadn't wanted to pull away from the girl, it happened after he suggested they took a drink. He was trailing behind her slightly, and as he walked he couldn't help but settle those icy blues upon her body. His vision was swimming slightly, but he was still pretty good when it came to his balance and his depth perception. Usually Travis only got really clumsy when he was near ready to pass out. And there was NO way he'd pass out just yet. Of course.. Travis was only a man. He couldn't fight the temptations to let those eyes travel the girl's body as she moved back toward the bar counter. Unfortunately though he was cut off by a few assholes, and it seemed they didn't have any manners either.
Especially the first guy. Now Travis had a pretty bad temper when he let things boil, and the first guy had pissed him off enough as it was, when he caught sight of him slap her ass. That ass was totally his at this moment in time, and there was no way in hell Travis was going to let that dude get away with what he had done! But before he could really reacted, he watched as Reira grasped the closet stool she could find, and smashed it over his face. Travis' arms would be thrown high as he couldn't help but scream out, he was drunk after all..
"DAAAAMN! She just fucked you up, dude!"
Course the guy who got hit probably wasn't in this world at the moment, but regardless Travis had said it anyways. And it seemed that his buddies planned to try and get a piece of Reira as well, but Travis wouldn't have that! Stepping forward on his left, that left arm of his swung wide. Due to the fact that he was behind the dude, he wasn't even aware Travis was swinging at him. This spelled doom for the male, and even though Travis' intoxication had caused him to throw his punch a little too off, his forearm still connected against the side of the guy's head, giving him a sudden jerk to the right and sending him sliding across the dance floor, knocking people over like bowling pins.
Travis was a strong dude, he could punch a hole clean through a brick wall if he really wanted, and right now he wasn't even sure how to judge his strength. He had probably hit the male a lot harder then he originally intended. But whatever, they deserved every last injury that they received here and now. Stepping forward on somewhat stable legs, Travis' right leg snapped out as the male rushed Reira. He aimed to straight up slam his shin against his opponent's groin as he tried to attack the girl. He'd watch with a cocky grin as the male yelped in pain and shot upward into the air a bit, due to the force behind the blow. He immediately hit the ground on his knees, just a tiny bit short of Reira, and began to vomit all over the male whom had been hit with the chair.
Travis would take care to maneuver around the douche bags that had started all this trouble. He felt bad for the employee that was going to have to clean all this shit up. But it totally wasn't going to be him! Nope! Travis would grab at Reira's hand, and then glance back toward the counter. He'd grab the shot he had left upon it earlier, and down it really quickly before he'd turn back toward her, lean close to her once again and talk into her ear so she could hear him clearly.
"Forget this place.. I'm gonna get out of here, do you want to come?"
To where exactly? Well.. That was the one issue he had here. He totally didn't have a place to go home to. His parents probably weren't going to like that fact that he was coming home with some chick. Not that he really cared about them anyways, they just lived too far away. He had cash though.. So at least if she decided she didn't want to leave with him he'd have the money to go rent a place to stay for the night or something. Maybe, just maybe she'd keep him company.. Maybe? Travis had an odd feeling it would be a yes.. Especially after their little dance session earlier. He'd wait for her answer, and then lead her from the club if she said yes. Just in time too, because that the angry club owner could be heard shouting about the mess, and screaming for them to leave right away.

The next order of events happened rather quickly. Reira was going to throw these bitches down, she even went so far as to fall into a defensive stance, but Travis beat her to it. With one powerful swing from his arm, Jerk went flying, toppling people over like it was some sick bowling game. Holy cow, Travis could punch! She had to admit, she liked how he was defending her. Not only did he look hot doing it, he was also very strong. That in itself boosted her attraction to him. Jerk Numero Deux was efficiently taken care of next with a quick hit in the junk. The poor guy fell to the floor, puking up chunks on his fallen friend.
That‘s what you get…
Moving to the side to avoid the puke, Reira could do nothing but laugh a the three men’s misfortune. If they weren’t knocked out, they were either moaning and almost crying in pain. Daayyum Travis was good. If she had to fight them on her own it would have took much longer and she’d probably get a few hits on her. At least she could take pride about smashing the stool over the one dude’s head. Watching Travis walking towards her, she met him half way, glad that he took her hand in his.
“Thanks for that,” she said, squeezing his hand slightly.
It really did mean a lot to her. Not just because he totally saved her from having to fight, but because it was nice to feel like someone actually cared for her. Well, she knew he probably just looked at her like she was just ‘some girl’ but it was nice to pretend that she had at least someone out there to look out for her. At least for tonight. Then tomorrow would come and the effects of the alcohol would wear out and she’d be back to zero. For now, she’d do all she could to just have fun. And even if she was under the effects of the alcohol, she wouldn't forget about this night, or him.
"Forget this place.. I'm gonna get out of here, do you want to come?"
After he took another shot he asked her to leave with him. Should she though? It was tough to call. She didn’t know a thing about him, but she really wanted to get to know him. So far he seemed like a really nice guy and Reira didn’t have anything to lose. There was no one that knew her here, no one to judge her, or even stop her. So, why not? Apparently she had better voice her answer soon, or else she’d be in a lot of shit from the manager. Which was not something she particularly wanted to deal with.
“Sure, what are we waiting for?”
With a happy air surrounding her, she followed Travis out of the club and into the brightly lit streets of San Fran. Was it bad that she was using him to forget about Matrim? Cursing herself inwardly, she made herself swear to avoid thinking about him from now on. Tonight was all about Travis.
“So where are we headed to?”

Travis nodded when she had thanked him for helping her. The way he saw it, she might not have even needed the help he gave her. That chair sure as hell knocked the first dude out with one hit. Travis couldn't help but wonder just how strong she was. He liked a woman that could handle her self, and that was part of the reason he had liked Sara so much. Those icy blues hid behind his eyelids as he pushed her from his mind again. It seemed no matter how many times he tried to get her out of his head, she always seemed to pop back in. But the squeeze upon his hand pulled him from though, and he resettled his mind at the task on hand.
So where are we headed to?
"Well.. I gotta rent a room for a bit. You can keep me company for a little while?"
They were outside now when he spoke, and those eyes crawled the length of the street and he looked about for a cab. He had brought his motorcycle, but he really wasn't sure if that was such a good idea to drive it home. He had his cash on him, and the keys. He figured he could just pick it up the following day. While he was a risk taker from time to time, he knew he had one too many shots tonight. But he was feeling good. Travis was in a great mood, and he was about to spend some time with a new.. friend? He wasn't sure what was going to happen between them when things were said and done, but she definitely seemed to be the kind of girl that Travis could see himself hanging out with, maybe in dating..
But that wouldn't come so soon, right? He had just broken up with Jess.. He wasn't sure another relationship right off the bat was a good idea. He'd step to the edge of the side walk, and scream out for a taxi, his free hand lifting out and signaling. A few of those cabs would pass, but finally one of the yellow cars would stop in front of them, and Travis would open the door. He'd allow Reira to move on inside first, and he'd climb in after her. After asking the driver to go to the nearest hotel, he'd glance over toward the girl and realize that he was still grasping her hand. He didn't make any conscious effort to let go though. If she was uncomfortable with it, she'd tell him so, wouldn't she?
Being so close to her now, in the semi privacy of the cab they were currently sitting in, Travis couldn't stop his mind from wandering once again. Those icy blues would catch upon Reira's legs, and the slowly climb up her body, finally locking upon that beautiful face of hers. The hand which was holding her's would give another little squeeze, and he'd inch a little closer toward her, his left arm draping over Rei's shoulders, his left hand bending slightly as he looked to press it against the side of her face and turn her head his way a bit more. Travis would drop his lips against her's once again, the only real difference this time was that fact that she'd more then likely notice his tongue.
Travis was completely oblivious to the driver, in fact he didn't even give a shit about him. After all, this kind of thing was actually probably pretty common. This thing probably always happened on the late night, regardless Travis couldn't help himself. The dance he had with her kept coming to his mind, her body pressed up against his, those hands of theirs searching. His head was swimming, but not just from the alcohol. There was quite a bit of lust thrown in their for good measure. He wasn't going to be shy about it, after all he was rarely a shy person. You could call him a little aggressive, maybe even dominating. But it wasn't like he was going to force her into anything. If she really wanted to back out, he'd let her. He wasn't some crazy rapist.

"Well.. I gotta rent a room for a bit. You can keep me company for a little while?"
To be honest, Reira was really stepping out of her moral zone for this one. The funny thing was, she didn’t care. She felt like a new person around him, like her past didn’t happen. She liked being around Travis and therefore going back to a hotel with him didn’t sound bad to her at all. Besides, if things started to go bad, which she hardly doubted would happen…because things have been nothing but good so far…, she was confident she could stand her ground. Pushing all her worries aside, she looked up at him and gave him that smile of hers. Wow, she smiled a lot tonight hadn’t she? It was nice to have something to smile at again.
“I have absolutely no problem with that.”
It was true, she really didn’t. I mean, she didn’t know what he meant by keeping him company, but she had a decent guess. Who knows, maybe she had him all wrong. But what could she say? Just looking at him made her stomach swirl with butterflies. He was a very handsome fellow. He was captivating and Reira was under his spell. She couldn’t say no if she wanted to. God, she just really hoped this wasn’t the last time she saw him. It would suck to meet someone like him and never see him again. Reira wasn’t looking for anything…just a friend.
The two of them continued to walk down the street, a small wind was picking up. It was rather chilly and Reira really wished she brought a sweater or something before she decided to go clubbing. Oh right, her mind was in the clouds. As the wind blew at her she instinctively drew closer to him. He was warm. A cab better stop soon or she’d find herself hugging him or something…her fault for wearing a mini skirt and a haulter top. Finally a cab stopped for them and she was eager to get into the nice warm interior. Reira entered first, not letting go of his hand. Once Travis settled in, the cab driver took off.
It was weird. She didn’t want to let go of his hand. She wasn’t a clingy person, don’t get her wrong. It was just that…she had this funny thought in her mind that if she let go of him now, she’d miss out on an opportunity. She didn’t want to miss this. Blushing slightly at her silly thoughts, she subconsciously crossed those lovely legs of hers and snuggled in closer to him. Blinking once, she had the feeling that he was looking at her and as she turned her face to gaze at him they made eye contact. Her heart fluttered. She flashed him that smile and before she knew it, they were lip locked and oh so very close. She loved it.
Her tongue meeting his, she kissed him deeply, almost roughly. Oh yeah, there was no stopping her now. She was so caught up in the moment that she forgot the cab driver could see everything. Oh well, lucky guy. Still in the kiss, she moved her body so that she was now sitting on top of him, straddling his waist with her thighs. She encouraged him by grabbing his hands and putting them on her hips. The kiss continued and it really was too bad that the cab driver found a hotel so fast…then again maybe it was a good thing. To end the kiss, she bit his lower lip and tugged on it gently. The cab came to a park at a very expensive looking hotel. Grinning at Travis she leaned in towards his ear and whispered.
“That was only an appetizer.”
She was such a tease. Getting off of him, she stepped out of the cab and paid the driver, whom was very red in the face. Once Travis got out of the cab, the diver would speed off to do god knows what and then they two of them were free to enter the hotel. Linking her hand in his once again, she began to walk to the entrance.
