Ever since she got her visions back, it was like another world was opened up to her. Of knowledge, of joy, of power. The only problem was, was that there was a double-edged sword behind so much knowledge in people and future events. Some of it was painful. Many people could probably do better without the fact of knowing someone might die tomorrow, someone might be seriously hurt, or that something might happen to us all.
Like a meteor crashing suddenly into the planet, and jellying everyone's bodies into mush.
...
Just kidding, that was still a long way off, past Aurora's lifetime. Meteor impacts were so rare, but yet so absolute that she had almost no problem predicting when they would happen. This generation would have no problem with the spacefaring rocks...maybe the next, but not this one. Now that that was out of the way, the little blind one, dressed in her green coat walked the halls of Moral Crest High, not caring much for the people around her, but in her newfound...rather, found again powers.
Some of the predictions she made were of the more mundane things...a bathroom flooding, a rock coming flying through the window in about...now.
*CRASH*
Damn kids and their silly fights. But one thing in particular had been problematic. She had a headache...and as she walked closer to her destination, it got more painful. It wasn't the visions either, those didn't hurt, but there were...flashbacks, of pain, of misery in a nearby someones life, and if it was eminating like this. Well, do the math.
Evil aura + evil person + PHS 42 = Evil plot to destroy the world.
Maybe not that extreme of course, but it was still something to consider. Thirteen would know the culprit as soon...as...she...rounded...the...
*Thud*
Corner.
Took that one a little early. She walked a little forward and then turned. A tap of the foot revealed the person...that same one...the wind user. Crud. But fun.
But still crud...

Sara closed her locker door and leaned back against it, her bag at her feet. Crap... She was tired today. So tired. And her stomach hurt to. So bad. It was like her ovaries were going to explode. Her arms wrapped tenderly around her torso. She wanted to cry. What had she ever done to the gods to deserve their cruelty like this? Surely she couldn't have been that bad of a person...
She was supposed to be in class right now, but after a series of spasms in her poor, poor tummy, she decided to go check something. Sure enough, it was that time again TT.TT She was early and had none of her stuff with her. Not even in her locker like she had originally thought. ~Cue pity fest <3 ~ God, her life was pathetic. Maybe she should just go home-
*CRASH*
Sara's head snapped to the side at the sound of what Sara could only assume to be a rock coming through the window. God, she hated this school. This school and every other school. And the silly little students who found that sort of thing funny. And just students in general... The anger was welling up inside her, spurred on by her hormones. HORMONAL RAGEEEEE... AKA... PMS =_=
Her arms fell from her torso and she pushed off her locker, turning in the direction that the crash had come from. She was going to kill someone today. She damn well knew it. It was just a matter of who the unlucky person to meet the wrath of Sara was going to be. Just at the corner Sara watched as someone bumped into the wall. Seems they had made the turn SLIGHTLY to soon... Sara could see the shoulder of the person as they smacked into it.
Sara stopped for only a moment, dumbfounded, and then burst out laughing. She was laughing so hard she doubled over, arms across her stomach as the laughs rocked her body. That was good. That was to good. To funny!! HORMONAL LAUGHTER <3 But it was hurting her stomach... Her poor poor tummy D: She tried to take a deep breath, wiping a tear from her eye, but the laughter started again.
Wow... From sadness, to anger, to uncontrollable laughter. What a day this was going to be. Poor Sara. Her eyes fell to the person as her laughter died down. She thought she recognized the girl. Wasn't that the one she had hit that day with her qi? Wasn't she blind...? OH WELL~ Sara burst into fresh laughter.
PMS Sara is PMSing <3

Now, if you could imagine Aurora's head as a typewriter, this is the part where the receptionist would be at the desk, click click, clicking away without any thought as to what the hell was going on. This girl was laughing, but Thirteen couldn't decide if it was from the fact that she was blind, or the fact that she had just run into a wall, a rarity if there ever was one. Now the response...the receptionist was still typing as Aurora glared blankly at the girl. Man...this one was nuts wasn't...
Holy crap.
Aurora clinched her head in a bout of pain. This person was the source of the nasty air about. The evil stuff. But why was it so painful? A vision into the past revealed little, and for little reason. The one intriguing thing however...was the fact that she looked oddly like Aurora herself. Hm. That was actually interesting. But this incessant laughing. Ugh, so annoying! Although for some odd reason, (There was a lot of odd reasons.) she didn't fault her.
"Uhhh. Are you okay, I know you're probably laughing at me, but seriously, it wasn't THAT funny."
Scorn. Ugh. What a pain.
The typewriter finally stopped in her head.
*DING!*

Sara was laughing to hard, her eyes clouded by tears to see the girl grab her head. Sara herself didn't know what was so funny, it was just a combination of the fact that the girl was blind, and had just walked into a wall, and then the fact that Sara was looking for something to bring her mood up. Well here it was. Even if it was cruel to laugh at her... It was her own fault for not having some sort of walking stick.
"Uhhh. Are you okay, I know you're probably laughing at me, but seriously, it wasn't THAT funny."
Sara tried to take a deep breath, standing up straighter to look at the girl. She still had a large smile on her face. Really, the timing of that had just been to perfect. "Of course I'm laughing at you! It was hilarious!" She wiped her eyes, still chuckling. "But I guess I should be asking you the same thing. Are you ok?"
Sara took a step forward towards the girl when her stomach spasmed in pain again. She stopped, the laughter dying completely. She needed to get home and deal with this... This wasn't good. At all. Sara closed her eyes, waiting out the spasms. She could feel the anger coming back. Nice. And the poor soul who was right in front of her? One wrong word from her, and Sara was going to knock her out and loot her bag =_=

Mmm hmm. Hilarious, I bet it was girl. Totally hilarious. Now that that angry thought got out of the writers mind, he could get along to what Thirteen was actually thinking. And honestly, it wasn't all that much. The typewriter was still chug-a-lugging away, but instead of concentrating on Sara herself, Thirteen was all over her past and probable futures. Aurora hadn't seen a complete past, but she didn't want to see it either.
However...her future...
That was truly frightening.
Fate was cruel, it truly was...this girl was truly a dark destined in disguise. She...she...was...going...well. Thirteen backed up with a little twinge of fear in her eyes. This girl was destined for murder sometime in her school life. All of a sudden Thirteen felt the need to escape her presence. But how would she be nice about it? Dear God.
"Uhh...yeah, I'm fine, and I'm glad you found it funny."
Without a word, she started to walk past her bag, hoping to escape...if she did, great, if not...
Cruudddd...

"Uhh...yeah, I'm fine, and I'm glad you found it funny."
Sara snapped out of her pain ridden thoughts. The way she had replied.... It was weird. As though she thought Sara was odd or something. Focusing her gaze on the blind girl, Sara realized that she looked kind of uncomfortable. Well that sucked. How dare she? Sara wasn't weird... Not at all...
The girl began to walk past her, not saying another word. Sara remained motionless. How rude. Who the hell did she think she was? Sara was in pain here, and the girl thought she could just walk away? Nu uh. No way.
Sara turned and face the girls back as she walked away, picking up her bag in the process. Pulling out a book, Sara decided to take her favorite form of action. Whipping things at people <3 "And just where do you think you're going? I'm not done laughing yet." And with that she threw the book at the back of the girls head.

Aurora almost made it out, in fact, she was close to rounding off a corner when her feet started vibrating. This girl...she was moving in an aggressive motion, one foot over the other, leaning towards Auroras back. Physics told her the rest. Her arm was carrying a weight, a large one, and it was accelerating ever fast from her arm. This indicated only one probable thing. Incoming random flying object!
Aurora was quick to duck, but the pain in doing so was excruciating. The pain of Ryuu's blow that deflated her lung, the concussion. Jeez. You'd think someone would take pity that was already at a disadvantage. But of course not. That'd make for a boring thread, and those darned kids. They liked their violence didn't they!
Thirteen turned, she was angry, but didn't really show it...just one of those silly emotional things.
She picked the book and tossed it back to Sara. The punk.
"You're a lousy shot...can't even hit a blind girl."
And carried on.

"You're a lousy shot...can't even hit a blind girl."
Sara sidstepped the book that was thrown back at her. And then she stood there... Just stood there, a little stunned at what had just happened. Her mind was drawing a complete blank. The girl had dodged the book... Dodged it. The DAMN blind girl, dodged the book... AND insulted her. OH HELL NO. Sara growled in her throat and crouched. This little shit was going down.
Sara ran forward at the girls retreating back. How dare she think she could just walk away after that! Sara moved quickly, closing the distance between them. As soon as she was close enough, her two hands moved out, reaching for the girl. She didn't care where, simply needed to touch her. There was little chance of her getting away, one touch was all Sara needed, anywhere. Unless the girl could dodge roll epically away from her, she was going flying ( OOC - BUTTON MASHHH 'O' ). As soon as Sara was close enough, she would activate her qi, the familiar green wind flowing over her body, just above her skin.
Her right arm would move for the girls back, her left in a wide sweep for her side. Better hope it was the back Sara hit, because the side would send the girl slamming into a wall. The back would send her sprawling across the floor in front of her. The moment Sara touched her, anywhere, she would be hit with an enormous amount of force and pushed away from her. HAHA GIRL, TAKE THAT.

"You really feel the need to justify your own superiority? So be it."
This is why Aurora DIDN'T like leaving her scythe at home. especially if she was as slow as this. Damn you Ryuu. It wasn't his fault, Aurora just didn't like giving up, but she knew her limits, and after this girl tried to ambush her next...well, let's just say the first defense maneuver didn't go so well. Aurora attempted to mash 'O', but the problem was that she remained an Xbox 360 player. Seeing as though she couldn't smash the B button instead, Thirteen was sent flying, but not before being smart about it.
It was a longer corridor, and by spreading her lack of weight, the inertia and momentum wouldn't carry as far, and would also cause less damage on impact. It was like a parachute in action. She'd hit the wall, but not very hard. However, because of the previous damage she was recovering from, she managed to cough up a little bit of blood. So not cool.
"Really now? Qi? Can't just...fight...for real?"
To be honest, Aurora would have loved her Qi right now to be useful in combat...unfortunately, it wasn't...not yet anyways. Another hit like that, and it was likely that her lung would deflate. Again. She had a needle for that. However, she reoriented herself defensively. The girl would not ambush her again.

Sara watched the girl hit the wall. She felt that familiar bubble of triumph inside her, but it was short lived as the girl coughed up blood. Well... That was new. Sara had never seen anyone cough up blood before because she had hit them with her Qi. Her face was an expression of shock. Oh jeez... She hadn't mean to hurt the girl badly... Not THIS badly atleast. She went to take a step forward, her arm lifting towards the girl before she could move.
"Really now? Qi? Can't just...fight...for real?"
Sara stopped. Well that wasn't nice. She debated calling the girl on her comment and decided against it. It was obvious Sara would win this one. Sara had no idea if the girl even had a chance against her because she hadn't really fought back, but it definitely wasn't fair to keep going if she was coughing up blood, whether it was caused by Sara's qi or not.
So she ignored the comment and walked slowly towards the girl. "Hey.... Hey are you ok? I didn't mean to hurt you that bad... Should I get the nurse or something?" Sara would normally have touched the person in some way, but she didn't quite know how the touchy thing worked with blind people, so she settled for leaning forward to get a better look at her.

And all of a sudden, there was massive change in mood. Granted Thirteen was still just a little irked, always being the subject of someones test or otherwise superiority complex. Aurora was already down from the Qi, the sheer force of impact, but trying to fight again? That was just silly. Her lung collapsed, and once again, for the second time, she was forced to stab herself and leave a needle in so it could reinflate. Pain...misery. Ugh.
"Leave it to 42 to give me a collapsed lung and another concussion."
She looked down. She was breathing, and the bleeding was start to stop. She'd be fine. A third strike would certainly put her in the ER though. Aurora was weak when it came to offensive fighting, but now? She was weak in all the areas. Her defensive measures were rather crippled. There were certainly fun times to be had.
"Yes...I'll be fine in a few minutes."
She looked up and shook her head once.
"I may as well know who I just lost against, I'm Aurora...Thirteen. And you?"

Sara flinched as the girl stabbed herself with a needle. What the hell... That was... Oh god, that was disturbing. Her mind went completely blank as she watched the girl do... whatever it was she was doing... Her eyes glued to the small form. Small... OMGNOWAI, SHE WAS SHORTER THEN SARA!? How could she not have noticed?! Sadly though, it wasn't the time for that. The comment about 42 went right over Sara's head. She was far to engrossed in watching what the girl was doing.
"Yes...I'll be fine in a few minutes...I may as well know who I just lost against, I'm Aurora...Thirteen. And you?"
Sara continued to stare at the spot she had driven the needle into. That was just... To gross for words... Didn't that hurt? Didn't that... feel... BAD?! She couldn't wrap her head around. She gave her head a small shake and her gaze lifted to meet the blind girls. Thirteen. Interesting. Sara took another step towards her, tentatively holding out her hand. Damn her soft heart. She always hesitated when they were injured. She really needed to work on that. What was she supposed to do? Bop a serial killer on the head, then let him rampage because he was injured? Pssh.
"I'm Sara... Did you need... anything..? Should you just sit here for a while...?" Her hand was held out to her in case she wanted to get up. If not, Sara would simply sit next to the girl. "I'm sorry I freaked out... You looked really scared of me for a minute there..." She laughed nervously. "I'm not that bad... Just that time, know what I mean?" Another laugh and a wink. Girl to girl, she would understand.

At the course time was taking now, it appeared that Aurora was not the subject of the prophecy she could see. She knew Sara would be the one in this case, but who she cast it on, was still a mystery. Aurora was back to breathing normally, and the bleeding had ceased. However, feeling weakened from the attack, she remained seated and silent for the moment, no longer thinking about the attack, but the dreams, the visions that she had before hand while she had the moment.
Finally, she was able to pull the needle out and case it up to have it sterilized later. Damn, that did hurt, but only now was she feeling it. Taking out a bandage, she placed it where the wound now was and leaned back a little, finally able to speak, but still frightened.
"Yes yes...I'm just going to sit. It's okay, I understand..."
She knew now the reason for the blatant attack, but now...Thirteen didn't know. This girl was going to be the enemy of many very, very soon.
"...I'm very frightened dear. Something's going to happen to you. There is death in your future...murder...insanity. Evil."
Thirteen didn't dare tell her the details. If one knew the future, something more dangerous might occur. If you knew your future, you had none at all. Thirteen however was incapable of lying...rather, she didn't do so very well. It was dangerous to be around her right now, and even more so in just a couple of days. Thirteen had to get away from her...quickly.
There wasn't anyway she could fight in her current condition. What if...?
What if...

"Yes yes...I'm just going to sit. It's okay, I understand..."
Sara stood up straight and looked around as another spasm rocked her stomach. God... She was going to murder mother nature. Being a girl sucked. Then she plopped herself down next to the girl. She put a little distance between them, both because the girl seemed genuinely uncomfortable with Sara. Not that she could blame her. I mean, she had just picked a fight with her out of nowhere. And also because the girl had pulled the needle out. Sara stared at it with shock on her face. That was soooo gross D<
"...I'm very frightened dear. Something's going to happen to you. There is death in your future...murder...insanity. Evil."
Sara stopped for only a second before turning a confused smile up to the girls face. What was she on about? Was she trying to say that she was a psychic...? OhhhhhhhHHhhHhHhHhHh Scaryyyy.... Sara wasn't a believer in that sort of thing. She let out a small laugh.
"What? I don't get it, is that some sort of like... joke? You can tell the future?" She sighed. In a school like this, that wasn't something you joked about. "That's not funny..." A nervous laugh escaped her. Who knew when you were going to get killed with students like this everywhere. "You're joking right?"

So it seemed that the both of them were in pain. That made sense. Her time of the month, and a very painful blow to the back and lungs. Yep. They were all in this together. Thirteen would have to deal with it very soon, but that was alright...it came along with the girl thing. It just happened...and so, she'd take it, deal with it, and be done with it. Simple as that. But now...greater things were happening that Aurora couldn't make out. Not at least. Her visions were clouded, but clear enough to see the pain and suffering that Sara would both take and dish out.
Of course, just like all before her, Sara was one of those that doubted her abilities. Which was fine...it was in human nature. But sadly...this was no joke. Her visions and dreams were Qi driven, they weren't just figments of the mind. This was real...or it would be soon. Sara was in trouble...in big time trouble.
"No...I'm not joking. I saw something horrible in your future...I've seen your past...living on the streets after the earthquake...there's something coming in your future soon...in the next week. I...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have told you this..."
Aurora was frightened, and she would have to get it out. The visions were haunting...unless they were expressed, there was no way to even sleep...but now...she'd only hurt Sara. That's not what she wanted.
Not in the slightest.
