Serafion was walking around school, a bag over his shoulder and a hand in his coat pocket. He was given stares because of his coat, and whenever he talked he got looks because of his accent, but he didn't care. All he wanted was to fight, or train, or at least see a fight. Since coming to this school he had wondered if it was as violent as he had heard, but hadn't seen much. It was very disappointing to him, yet still he wanted to know, so he was getting frustrated.
"This is boring!" He said, grabbing a kid by the front of their shirt and lifting them to his eye level, "You! What is your name?"
"Uhm... uhh, it's To-"
"You fight me, Toe. Right here, right now, yes?"
"I'm really not... I don't want to get in trouble with... umm... can you let me go please?"
Serafion let the kid go reluctantly, and he went off on his way. Still he looked around, slamming his hand on the lockers getting pissed off, "I thought these schools had fighting, is there nobody who will fight me? Are you all cowards?"
The crowd turned to look at him, and he scanned them to find someone who looked like a challenge, or possibly someone who would speak up.

Sara walked through the halls with earphones in for the first time ever. She had gotten her first IPod as a gift to herself for making it through the insanely rough patch of her life so well. ~Congratz Sara~<3 She was a little chilly though. She should have been wearing her spring coat over the t-shirt, and maybe better shoes then the simple flats she had on. But they just looked so cute with her jeans.
Problem was... She couldn't figure out how to work the damn thing. She turned a corner, bumping into someone, and continued walking. The thing was turned up so damn loud she didn't hear them cussing at her as she walked away.
She couldn't figure out the volume control. Actually, at this point, none of the buttons were working. Well... There was really only one button... And a circle around the button. But nothing was working. She flipped it over in her hands, looking for another button. There was a little thing on the bottom. Maybe it was like a lock button or something.
She glanced up quickly and saw a small crowd. Figuring it to be a class waiting to get into their room, she pushed through them, and ended up in the center of the small semi-circle of people. Realizing that something was up, she looked up, and found herself face to face with some guy.
"What are you looking at, you got a problem?!" Of course she yelled this, thinking she had only spoken it at normal tone. It was only after she had spoken that she pulled the ear plugs from her ears, the music blaring out of them as she tried to stuff the thing in her pocket.

"What are you looking at, you got a problem?!" The little girl said loudly and Serafion was almost shocked by how loud she was being. He looked down at her, listening to what she had said, and thought it over until he finally started laughing. The thought of this little girl starting a fight with him was preposterous. It was just too unacceptable. To think that she was doing this! He laughed until finally he stopped and spoke to her.
"That is very funny. Good joke, yes?" He'd pat her head with his right hand, ruffle her hair a little and return his gaze to the crowd, "You are all cowards... even this little girl has more bravery in her little pinky then any of you. Is there anyone out there who would fight me? Anyone at all? Oh, and little girl, unless you want to get hurt you might want to leave this place, ok?"
Not even looking down towards her his eyes continued to scan the crowd looking for a TRUE challenger.

Sara had no idea she had just screamed at the guy. None at all. In fact, she thought she had been quite polite considering the circumstances and how she usually spoke to people. So when she pulled the earphones out of her ears and he began to laugh, she was actually quite confused. Her face reddened in embarrassment and anger as she cocked her hip waiting for him to finish. She was very aware of the small crowd around her, watching. God she hated high school kids. So bloody immature.
Then his hand touched her head, ruffling her hair and he spoke. Oh hell no. No one ruffled her hair like that. Not now. Not ever. She was confused though. Sara had no intention of fighting today. Why did he think she wanted to fight? And then it hit her, and she assumed the scenario of which she had walked in on. Oh crap... Well she very well couldn't back out now. Especially if there was someone who didn't take her seriously.
"Oh, and little girl, unless you want to get hurt you might want to leave this place, ok?"
Ok, now she was ready for a fight. Guy SERIOUSLY needed to learn who he was dealing with. As quickly as she could move so that she could catch him off guard, and thus embarrass him as much as he had embarrassed her, her left hand reached up to grasp his wrist. The moment she had a hold of him, she would pull the arm, and twist it as she shifted behind him, pulling it behind his back. As this was Sara, and for Sara, everything always went to plan~ she would then lift her right foot and slam it into his lower back, while still holding his arm. Then she would let go of him, letting him be pushed forward from her kick. "You have no CLUE what you just started boy."

A grab and a twist later Serafion found himself being kicked in the back. He went forward, putting his hand out against a wall to keep him from falling forward, "You have no CLUE what you just started boy." She said, and he turned around with a smile on his face. It was almost a satisfied devilish grin on his face. She hit hard, not as hard as he could hit judging from the hit. But he could handle her strength. It was her speed that was impressive. He may have been oblivious and head strong, but this was something different.
"I know exactly what it is I am starting," He said in his thick Russian accent, looking around the crowd once more. He let out a small laugh, not making fun of her, but out of enjoyment. This was going to be fun, "I am fighting a true challenger. An honorable fighter."
He hoped that was it anyway, he charged, taking a long step landing on his left foot he swung his right foot around aiming it for just below her shoulder, aiming to hit her bicep or upper ribs if her arm was up for some reason.

As soon as Sara spoke to him, she stepped back, falling into a light fighting stance, her body angled away from him, arms held loosely in front of her. He had taken the hit quite well, catching himself as he was pushed forward.
He had a thick accent, and under any other circumstances, she probably would have been interested in hearing about his country. But listening to him, hearing that accent, brought back the terrible memories of the last Russian she had fought. That kid had nearly killed her. And he hadn't seemed quite as... odd as this guy either.
"I am fighting a true challenger. An honorable fighter."
PFFT Oh ya right. This was Sara they were talking about. And then he charged her. His right leg came up, swinging at her upper body. It was an easy attack to read, but a good counter would probably cause her some damage. Her left arm lifted, and her body turned further towards his oncoming leg, and just before it hit her, the arm would drop again, wrapping around the leg. His foot would slam into her just below the armpit, but the damage would be minimized as the brunt of the force would be spread out across her chest as well from his calf.
Holding onto this leg would stop her from being thrown away form his kick, but he was strong and she was still pushed back from the force. She moved quickly though, ignoring the pain in her side, and wrapping her right arm under the leg. Then, using the momentum from the movements, she spun, pulling his leg with her and then letting go, in an attempt to throw him away from her. If it worked, she would then take the time to start bitching and moaning about the pain in her ribs, her arms wrapping around her torso as she doubled over to take a breath.

The girl said nothing, which was a plus. Less talking more fighting. She grabbed his leg and threw him by it. He was glad that he had kicked something, even though she began to throw him he did not worry because she was not the strongest girl in the world. He was tossed but he managed. He attempted to roll backward, but ended up rolling backwards too fast, landing hard on his knees and forearms. He got up slowly, staggering slightly as he became right side up again. He looked at his opponent who seemed to be recovering after their encounter.
"You are a strange one. You accept my challenge but complain about getting hurt... this is confusing." He said, and charged through the crowd of people. They had separated rather quickly when he was thrown to accommodate him, and avoid getting caught up in the wake of his path. He made his way back to the fight and then threw a right fist, aiming an uppercut for the girls chin. He ducked down slightly before doing this to compensate for the fact that she was shorter and an uppercut from a taller opponent would be lacking in momentum.
This was all there was to his attack pattern. You're basic punch-kick-punch-kick style fighting. He was relatively new to actual fighting after all.

"You are a strange one. You accept my challenge but complain about getting hurt... this is confusing."
Sara's head lifted to watch him as he spoke. Confusing? The bloody kid could have broken her ribs! And she was confusing him!? Ohhh... he was going to get it. She threw her hands in front of her as he charged her. The guy was a lot slower then her, and easy to read to. This was going to be easy~
She planted her right foot in front of her, and as soon as he drew his arm back she pivoted, turning counter-clockwise on her right foot out of his way. She would do a complete turn, her left arm moving away from her body, fist clenched to slam into his back. She was going to end this quickly.
Just before she would hit him, she would activate her Qi, a light greenish wind flowing over her body just above her skin. As she almost completed the spin, her fist would slam into his back, and he would be pushed forward by a tremendous amount of force. It would probably hurt to~She kinda felt bad about that <3

She was quick, extremely quick. And she slammed her fist against his back, and it hurt, but he felt something, something he hadn't felt from the throw. Somehow this was stronger, he was sent flying forward, by the midsection. His back hurt from the hit, she had somehow hit stronger, and it confused him. He ran into students like bowling pins. The ones who were circled around him hadn't gotten out of the way this time around. He imagined it was because of how much faster he had been flung.
He got up, kids complaining about getting hurt, Serafion himself just got a few bruises on the face from colliding with a boy. He was thankful he didn't accidentally bump lips with someone. He got up rubbing his head and looked at Sara, seeing the aura around her body he knew what this was, he had heard of it. He had just not seen it himself first hand until now, "Dusha... Qi..."
He was holding his back and he walked forward, getting closer he knelt down, "I concede. You are beyond me... Please, let me know your name. I wish to know the name of person who defeated me so easily..." Serafion was pissed, but he knew when he was beaten. The second she used Qi he knew he was no match for her. He hadn't even found his own. And he knew that with her previous speed and strength, a Qi would only make her stronger.

Sara finished the turn and watched with pride as he bowled over a bunch of students. That had been nice, and the sight of him rubbing his head and back filled her with a sick sense of accomplishment. This was funner then she had thought it was going to be. She readied herself as he approached.
"I concede. You are beyond me... Please, let me know your name. I wish to know the name of person who defeated me so easily..."
O_______________________O
Whoa... What? Sara looked down at him as he knelt in front of her. She took a tentative step away from him, her expression both confused and angry. He was giving up? D< What the hell was this?! If he thought he was getting out of it this easy, then he was sorely mistaken =_=
"What the hell man? You can't just give up! Get the hell up and fight me!" She leaned forward slightly, her eyes narrowing. Sara could never understand giving up in a fight. Matrim had tried to teach her, and she had learned to give up... When she was on the verge of death. She couldn't understand why this guy had suddenly given up. Not at all. They had barely even started. He still had a chance as far as she was concerned. However, she made no attempt to close the distance between them or attack him. If he was going to go through with giving up, what could she really do? Attack an unwilling fighter? Pfft.

"What the hell man? You can't just give up! Get the hell up and fight me!" She said, leaning forward with her eyes narrowing. She seemed angry, but he would not fight her. Not after that.
"No, this was good but no." He got up looking rather annoyed with her, "You are faster, stronger, and you have discovered your Qi.. this makes you out of my... what is word..." He rubbed his chin and spoke once more, "League... you are too strong. I know where I stand with you, and I learned during this fight. That is all I require. If you want to fight more, perhaps another time. You do not wish to tell me your name so I guess we'll leave it to fate to bring us together again."
He began to walk away. She'd either have to stop him or attack him to keep this going. If she wanted to talk that was one thing, but it seemed all she wanted to do was continue to prove her strength over him. This was not honorable in his eyes, it was selfish. She had won, she did not need to humiliate his loss any further, and to continue to ask him after he said no made him feel even worse. But he would not be bullied into attacking her again this day at this time.

She watched him back away, still not completely understanding or comprehending what had just happened. She seemed to feel thrilled that she had won, that she had been good enough to scare him off before the fight had even really started. But... Why was he leaving...? And why did he seem offended by her...? She felt bad. She didn't understand why she would feel bad. Why she would even care. In some ways, she could understand, and she had developed a lot in maturity since starting here. She just... Didn't want to end on this bad note with him.
She knew she needed to stop him. She didn't know why, only that she did. Why the hell did she feel like a bully now? "Wait!" The moment she had spoke, she glanced around, realizing that there were still people looking at them. She glared at them all, her face reddening, and she jogged after him.
Catching up with him, linking her arm through his and pulled him towards the door leading outside. She was avoiding his gaze like the plague, her face getting redder and redder by the second. This was hard for her to do. Why didn't people realize that, and just accept her actions as being... normal. No, people had to make her say and do things, like apologize, which, even at the best of times was nearly impossible for her. But they needed to get out of the hallway. She wondered who the hell this kid was. She had never seen him before, and Sara prided herself on knowing most of the people from the school at this point.
A few seconds later, as they got a little further from the crowd, if he allowed her to pull him along, she would glance up at him quickly, making sure he was listening. "I never said I didn't want to give it to you. I'm Sara." Another glance around to hide her blush. "Who the hell are you?"

"Wait!"
He turned his head in wonder as she jogged to catch up to him. He wondered if she was going to attack him, but he didn't see it happening. So he waited and she linked arms with him, pulling him towards the door. At first he resisted, but realized it was useless to resist and just followed her, letting her pull him out of the building, "I never said I didn't want to give it to you. I'm Sara. Who the hell are you?"
"My name is Serafion Alekseiko Awren," He said bowing slightly, closing his eyes, but once again opening them so that those red orbs were staring into her own Hazel ones. He ignored her face, which had reddened a little. She seemed embarrassed by this, but once again he did not understand. Perhaps all American women were so strange, of course he wasn't sure if she was American. "I came here from Russia, I am a fighter but I have not been in many fights, you see. I have no shame being beaten by a stronger opponent just because she is female, but I do have shame in fighting someone who has discovered what I have not. I am not honorable enough to fight someone of your level. Not until I discover how to use my Qi as well."

She met his gaze confidently with her own. He has crazy ass eyes though. That was kind of cool. His name was weird though. Really weird, and hard to say. But that made it epic. And it sounded like her name to... That was awesome. Her face reddened a little more.
"Not until I discover how to use my Qi as well."
Wait... He didn't know how to use Qi? Well wasn't that interesting...? Her eyes widened slightly as she considered him. She didn't like his reasoning though about not fighting. Not honorable enough? Well what the hell did that make her? He should fight whether he had it or not. How long had it taken her to learn how to use hers? Way to damn long, that was for sure. The scar on her chest suddenly felt cold, and it dawned on her why someone might not want to fight someone with a qi.
Sara was to strong willed and hard headed to realize when to back down in a fight. This guy seemed to be smarter then her in that area at least. She could only imagine how hard it must have been. But what was she supposed to say to that?
"You shouldn't be ashamed at all..." She crossed her arms, turning away from him slightly. She didn't really know what she was doing, and she wasn't one for motivational talks, so she would just say what she was thinking. "It's how you learn. You have a lot of potential... You need to think more of yourself."

"It's how you learn. You have a lot of potential... You need to think more of yourself."
"I know plenty, I have no shame. I just know my place, I am not like......" He was getting upset and nearly brought his brother up, but realized she knew nothing of his brother. So it really was none of her business, "I will learn Qi, and then I will beat you. You will see." He said with narrowed eyes, looking at her with a look of challenge. He was going to beat this girl, he was determined. That was his goal, he was going to beat this Sara girl.
He would then reach out and turn her around, both hands would be holding her shoulders, and his face would break her personal space so that their eyes were on level, "Perhaps you teach me to use Qi? It would be fun to fight you again, and this way I won't feel bad for fighting someone so..... what is word..." It left his head, as words in English often did. In her mind she might be thinking he was going to say something like 'short' or 'womanish' or 'girly'. But then the word came to mind.
"Talented."
