"... C-Cain..." Gabriel took notice this time as he persisted to fight on.
Admirable no doubt, so his assumption was not off. He enjoyed a man with pride, one with pride was good and well placed amongst others thought they lost standing easily they rose to the top more vicariously than any others before. Gabriel knelt down to his level and offered a hand up.
"Good," He looked at his hand still jolting slightly, he hadn't gained full control yet the volts were still sporadic and a danger. Gabriel recoiled his hand trying to empathize the hand of acceptance outward.
"The world needs more people like you Cain, in fact if you're interested I'd be willing to need you" Gabriel cooed thoughtfully still crouched down at his level his hands steadied his balance behind his back.

And Gabriel approached him, the blue-haired fighter's instincts screaming for him to get back up and ready himself. However, his mind said otherwise as his opponent neared him. He did not seem to show any more signs of hostility. Had the larger fighter already claimed victory over this fight? Cain gritted his teeth in frustration once more. He had lost already. And to think, to a faster fighter. He had never been beaten in terms of speed before, not even by the Sonia on roller-blades.
Gabriel reached out a hand to help him up. Cain simply glanced at him, thinking at first it was a trick, but realised that the fight had indeed ended. He let out a soft sigh and was about to reach for the hand when he noticed a spark emerging from it. He frowned. A trick? Or perhaps it just slipped Gabriel's mind? He hoped it was the latter.
"The world needs more people like you Cain, in fact if you're interested I'd be willing to need you"
Was he asking for Cain's help? Cain stared at him, his face still strained. Wow. This man was certainly quite amusing. Despite what had happened earlier, he was still willing to talk to him, much less try to ask his help for something.
"... You have a weird way of getting people's attention."
He replied in a raspy voice as he lowered his head for a moment, before letting out a loud sigh. At that, placing his hands on his knees, he slowly brought himself up onto his feet, his hands still on his knees.
"Start talking."

"... You have a weird way of getting people's attention."
Gabriel laughed lightly for a short moment, "I find that it weeds out those without any willpower."
"Start talking."
A grin emerged on his face, Gabriel himself was losing and gaining support in many aspects, the pillars for one thought he was a nutter mad hatter even. He liked that it gave him room to move to the top to ascend the ladder in other words. While his own comrades had a similar theory or perhaps they found that his solution would end in victory which was probably the reason they had stayed so loyal.
"I assume you already understand the pillar system, would I be correct?" He started slowly hoping to fill his thoughts with whatever accusations he felt resided with the name.
"I'm looking for talent that can help orchestrate a change of the guard, though there is one key difference, the members won't be in their based on their power they will be there based on merit through an electoral process." Gabriel was yet to be finished, "Along with that I plan to end the gang warfare here once we've established that chokehold."

"I assume you already understand the pillar system, would I be correct?"
At this time, Gabriel had Cain's full attention. The Pillar System. Of course Cain understood it. He had spent most of his sophomore year as the school captain of the most violent school in New York. He knew the ins and outs of the systems, the do's and don't's, the advantages and the disadvantages. And he had even been studying it long before he became the School Captain then. He was, after all, helping to plot an end against the system.
"I'm looking for talent that can help orchestrate a change of the guard, though there is one key difference, the members won't be in their based on their power they will be there based on merit through an electoral process. Along with that I plan to end the gang warfare here once we've established that chokehold."
Cain looked at Gabriel for a moment, before looking at the floor in front of him. So, he wanted to change the system in 42, huh? That seemed like an almost impossible task. The system was not just in 42, after all. It had spread throughout America, even to some schools in Europe and Canada. It had been somewhat proven effective to be an efficient disciplinary method and had to government's full support. If he did succeed in establish a new order in 42, Cain wondered then how long it would take.
At that, Cain looked up at Gabriel. As battle-loving as Cain seemed to be, he also had a good head on his shoulders. He analysed situations carefully before taking action, be it in the battlefield or out. He was smart, sharp and well-informed. Not wasting any more time, Cain finally replied.
"You asked whether or not I understand the Pillar System and I'll say yes. In fact, I was the School Captain in the school I was in before I transferred here. 552, if you have heard of it."
Cain paused for a while, like Gabriel had earlier. As soon as he deemed that the pause was long enough, he continued.
"As interesting as it is, Gabriel, I'm unfortunate that I have to decline your offer for now. I have just transferred here and I have yet to get a feel of things, much less know about what is really going on here. I don't want to be getting involved in the situation yet, when I have not even analysed it properly yet. And so, I have to say no."
"However, maybe once I've gotten to know 42 better, I'll come back to you. That depends, of course, on how things go. Is that good enough for you?"

Gabriel smirked at his reply, 552, and the school captain no less. Gabriel recalled the war within 259 against the 552 transfers how he challenged everyone nearly finding himself waiting at the transfer's office waiting for them to come by an spark a challenge. But all old disputes set aside Gabriel found transfers to be quite useful to sway the tide he needed to turn old enemies into close allies.
There was the slight pause when Cain gave his reply. nodding in agreement Gabriel found no problem with the issue like most the students needed time to address their qualms. Though eventually whether Cain decided to join or not the plan would go through without much disturbance. The only thing that interrupted his plans now were the two head's; Mr. Purple, & Mr. Orange. The pillars were minor details now, weak facets and if the Militia chose to assist he would be proud to enforce the democracy however if none were willing to stand he would fight alone and take what he claimed. Change a bright future.
"Understandably so, I do hope you see things through you indeed have great potential." He wasn't lying despite fighting so quickly through he saw some merit in this one something he wanted to know whether it was a strange hidden charisma or strength but he'd be willing to find it.
"Heres my card," Gabriel said as the sparks yielded, extending a palm out with a card his name and number listed, "If you need me I'll be there, always willing to help out a friendly face." He smiled and turned walking away smoothly.

"Understandably so, I do hope you see things through you indeed have great potential."
Cain simply stared at Gabriel as he sat there, propped against the wall. Great potential? And so Cain had thought. In 552, he had been one of the strongest fighter, matching up to even the fearsome Jay, who had been overpowering every single student in the school, and also defeating Sirus, being the first person to do so in twenty five of his fights. But now, here he was in San Francisco, and he lost his first fight terribly. Of course, there was a little handicap here, that came in the form of a metallic hand, but you get the point.
Cain had been overpowered, outmatched, outclassed and outsmarted. He really needed to start training again. And considering that this was just his first fight, Cain knew that there would be tougher opponents here in San Francisco, people that could easily bring him down as Gabriel had. He looked at the floor for a moment, that thought lingering in his mind. And after a while, he grinned.
He no longer regretted coming to San Francisco.
"Heres my card, If you need me I'll be there, always willing to help out a friendly face."
Cain glanced up at Gabriel, before turning his attention to the card. Reaching forward cautiously, he made sure not to get shocked anymore by any stray charges still in the man's arm. However, seeing that it seemed alright, Cain grabbed the card politely from his hand, albeit a bit rushed. He gave Gabriel but a nod, still sitting in place. Some muscles in his body were still numb after receiving such an intense amount of pressure from the lightning, so he would have to stay there a bit longer. And as Gabriel walked away, Cain watched him off.
What a weird guy.
He let out a soft sigh, glancing at the ground once more, before letting out a chuckle.
"... He still owes me eggs."
