Sylar was sitting on the top of the school. He had started to go there to look at the stars and to think where he would be if he had stayed in L.A. Probably dead on the streets with parents that didn’t care. The only problem was that he missed it out there. Being with his parents and all lead to bad memories that sylar had tried to forget his whole life. He hated them so much for what his father did to him. He pulled his shirt off and looked where he was cut. Nothing was there to remind him of what had happened. Nothing at all. It was like he healed then and there so nothing had even happened. It pissed him off that he threw his shirt. He watched it float down to the ground. Well this couldn’t get any better. Sylar was on the school roof shirtless and black jeans. The only thing was he wanted someone else to talk to. They might actually hit it off and it would so somewhere. Maybe they would be great friends or more than that. He didn’t know since there was no one else up there. Sylar laid down on the ground and continued to watch the stars.

Vespyr was on her usual nightly stroll around the city, taking a quick patrol around the school to see what food she could find. On a recent excursion she had discovered that this place was indeed a breadbasket of sustenance; the other teenagers who actually attended this filthy place had just as filthy habits and often left their food strewn all over the campus. It payed off well for the hungry young girl, although she would never set foot here for any other reason. Highschool was a madhouse and she needed none of it, not when she was already half-mad herself.
As she was walking briskly, something landed on her head and she shrieked. She snatched the thing off her head with a swift clawed hand and scoffed. It was a shirt. She looked up but didn't see anything. It was probably some kids still hanging around who thought it would be funny to pick on the creepy homeless girl. As much as Vespyr would have wanted to taste their blood, she was never in the mood to start a full-on fight and so she dropped the shirt to the ground with a snarl. Maybe I'll just scare them.
She jumped onto a nearby wall and lept toward the rooftop, grasping the edge with her bony fingers. She scampered up the rough wall with her boots. There was eccelent grip. In a moment she was on the roof, looking like something from a horror movie as her hair fell over her eyes and she knelt on her hands and knees.

Sylar turned his head as he heard something land on the roof. He turned his head and saw something that seemed like an animal at first glimpse but I noticed that the hair was to long. It was a person. He started to wonder if it was a girl or guy that was crazy enough to do something that sylar would also due? It didn’t matter though. He was glad someone else was up here now. Sylar sat up to try and get a better look but the light wasn’t quite working for him. Oh well.
“Hey, you over there. Come over here and talk. Unless you don’t like people and I’m in your house. Yet that would be weird. Plus did you see my shirt that fell? I don’t see it.”
It was true. Sylar had lost track of his shirt when it had fallen off the roof. It was as black as night so he was never going to see it float down. It was starting to get chilly and he would sooner or later need it.

Vespyr narrowed her eyes at the young man sitting shirtless on the top of the school building a few yards from where she was crouched. She stood immediately, her lithe body bathed in darkness. The boy struck her as odd at first sight, and what a first impression. He must have been quite lonely, for when he spoke his eyes looked pleading and his words were even more desperate sounding. And quite straightforward.
"No thanks... You were right on. I hate people." Vespyr hissed, turning her back on the stranger. "Your shirt is down there. It landed on me head. Watch where you throw your stuff, eh?"
Vespyr was about to make the leap of faith to the next rooftop when curiousity overtook her and she whirled around, her violet eyes glaring questioningly. Her bony hands clenched and she cocked her head, mouth twisted in a grimace as she spoke, "But what the hell are you doing up here anyways, eh?"

“I didn’t mean for it to land on your head. It was an accident for I didn’t throw it.” Sylar looked over to the girl that was currently standing next to the ledge. Her head was cocked as she asked her question. “Well I usually come up her after a long day. People tend to piss me off but at the same time every once in a while it is nice to hold a conversation. I come up here because I have annoying neighbors who never go to bed until midnight so I stay up here and hang out. So if you want to scram then leave. If you want to hang out come to the edge and talk.”
When Sylar said hang out he meant it. After he was done talking he turned around and used his legs to latch on to the wall and hung upside down. If the girl was a normal person she would freak out naturally. If she was different like Sylar suspected her to be then she may have joined. If she was a loner than she would probably take off.

Vespyr scoffed and stood up straight as the stranger invited her for conversation, assuming a rather uncomfortable-looking position hanging upside-down on the ledge. Wierdo, she thought and turned her head toward the eastern horizon. There was a thin red line hovering above the rooftops in the distance. Her violet eyes peered from their black-lined sockets with an almost worried glint.
"Eh, no thanks. I'd rather leave not. Bye." Vespyr mumbled and jumped down from the roof, landing in a crouch. Why the hell am I running into such wierd people lately? The girl shoved her hands into the pockets of her trenchcoat and walked away briskly, not bothering to turn back at the shirtless guy. It would be dawn soon ayway, and she best get back to her own rooftop.
