Nick stared at her with a strange look on his face. Man ho? He had never been called that before... and it didn't hurt or anything, but it was a bit random to be asking when she had just met him.

"Um... I wouldn't really call myself a ho..."

He thought of how he would describe himself. Not a whore or a prostitute because he didn't do it for money, so those were out of the question, and ho or slut seemed a bit too raunchy. Nick didn't just sleep around with anyone, he had what he'd like to think were standards, and most of the time he liked to put a romantic twist on that sort of thing. It depended on the girl.

Sooo basically, her definition of a man ho.... She played with her straw, bringing it up and down the the lid, making that annoying noise nobody likes. She stopped play with it and rested her head in her palms.

Conversation was bleak when she wasn't allowed to fool around and/or flirt. How do guys and girls make conversation without hooking up? Alexis will definitely have to ask someone, though the only people that she knows right now are Li, Olivia, and Nick... well she saw that Matrim guy in a class, but meh, they weren't tight at all he just came into the auditorium and started singing with her back at Point Hope, which annoyed her... So, no one to ask advice from 'cause....Well, Li probably wouldn't know, Olivia is socialy innept and Nick was right here being the victim of Alexis' learning "the ways of the conversation".. so she was drawing blanks.

"Music? Like any of that fun stuff?" everyone could agree that is a great topic of small talk. Everyone liked music which brought up conversation, and hey! even if they didn't like music it would bring up a debate on why the hell they wouldn't... which is rare... 'cause who hates music?

She was silent for a little while while she made squeaky noises with her straw. This would have annoyed most people, but being musically inclined he heard it in a different way. He looked at her with a sly smile when she asked what she did.

"Music? Like any of that fun stuff?

"Music!? Music is my life!"

She had no idea the significance of the question she had just asked; how important that art was to him.

"What about music did you want to know?"

There was so much he could talk about that he though he might ask for specifics.

"Music!? Music is my life!" she smiled while tapping on the table in a rythmatic beat as he said this. Ha, hit a soft spot.

"What about music did you want to know?" well, Alexis knew a bit, after all she made most of her money bye conning her piano or singing students. She also liked to play with anything tht can be hooked up to a computer, like her synth.

Alexis shrugged, with the smile still plastered to her face. "All sorts of things... like, do you play an instrument or more.. or what kind of music you are into... yah know? The basics?" she loved music as well. Jogging or playing music emptied her head and cleared her stress. Everyone should learn and instrument or two, it really helps body and soul.

Nick's smile widened as she asked about instruments. She had no clue about the arsenal he played.

"I play a total of thirteen instruments, including the double bass, the bass guitar, classical guitar, piano, keyboard, synthesizer, cello, violin, viola, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, and of course, the harmonica!"

He waited for her reaction or response to the impressive information about himself, then he would continue.

"And as for listening, I listen to mostly rock and trance, but I'm definitely not limited with the music I've been exposed to."

He leaned forward and put his head in his hands, which were propped up on the table by his elbows. He looked up at her with his big, dark blue eyes.

"What about you?"

He smiled listing off all the instruments he played. She could tell he was quite proud of himself, and she would be too if she could play all those instruments. When he finished off his list, she nodded with an impressed expression, then he carried onto what type of music he listened to.

"And as for listening, I listen to mostly rock and trance, but I'm definitely not limited with the music I've been exposed to."

He leaned on his hands, as she had done earlier and now went to ask her the same question she did to him.

"What about you?"

She shrugged, obviously not as impressive as all of his.. "I sing, play the piano, key board, keytar, synthesizer, a turn table, or just a laptop with a cool program." Nick and her did a couple of the same instruments while he also shared some intrest in some of the ones Olivia knew how to play, like the guitar and Violin. "For my playlist? Um... I basically like anything with an electric sound.. which means something like.. a punk band with an electric sound or even a pop band with one... or I am a fan of Chopin." because Chopin is what she grew up learning on the piano.. that and her first song she learned, Video killed the radio star...

*Ring, ring*

"Ello?" Alexis rolled her eyes when she heard her voice.. and even the backround music. "Livi, are you listening to my CDs?" she listened to Olivia's defence and Alexis didn't buy it "I don't care if you like them, they are no where near done so I didn't want them to be played til- No I will not pick you up Salad.... K bye." she hung up the phone and stuck it on the table.

"Sorry... My sister wanted salad.." she spoke in an annoyed tone, because Livi made it so, after all she wasn't her sister's bitch.

She was a musician, too. Mostly based on keyboard instruments it seemed. And on top of that, she could sing. That's one thing that plagued Nick's skill; he couldn't sing for crap, but he could basically learn any instrument he picked up.

"Oh, that's right, you have a twin..."

Nick thought about that for a second. If she was taken, and she had a twin, then if he asked to meet her twin, and she was single, Nick would have a much better chance to get with her. Or so he thought...

"Is she single?"

He smiled widely.

"Oh, that's right, you have a twin..."

Alexis nodded in agreement to his words. She wish she didn't have a twin. They get annoying, especially Livi and her many problems.

"Is she single?" Alexis' brows perked to his question. She almost had the whole, she is my sister, better not go around her, but not really. After all she hadn't been around Livi that long to know her. But Alexis smiled at the question none the less. It would be funny to see him hit on her sister. See how much she would squirm.

"All her life..." she laughed. Livi was clearly the loner. "Why? Wanna tap my sister?" a little intimidation, to make it look like she gives a shit..

Nick laughed when she asked if he wanted to tap her sister. He thought it was an odd way to ask if he wanted to meet her. Twins were usually very similar or exact opposites from each other, so he guessed the answer to her question would lay in her personality. Because the thing about twins is they look the same!

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying." he said sarcastically.

"Like I would just meet you and then say, hey I want to bang your sister and not you. That would be rude of me. Plus I haven't even met her yet."

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying." she coudld hear the sarcasm in his voice as she rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Meh, could happen..." she winked as she continued to speak. "I can text her and say 'I met a guy who wants to tap you'. Woud you like that?" of course that was a joke. No one would want someone to do that, and he definitely didn't want to tap Olivia, after all, he didn't even know her name.. The looks were a given, but just a couple differences in each other's appearence.

She picked up her phone and pretended to text Livi, to see how he would react.

He knew she was joking, so Nick tested to see if she actually would do it by acting like he didn't care if she did it or not.

"Eh, I guess it's fine if you don't mind me doing your sister."

Wait. How in bloody hell did the conversation get to this!?

Nick mentally shrugged at himself and decided to just go with the flow, like he did with most situations, but it was still a thought. It wasn't every day that you met someone who didn't mind you fooling around with their sister as nonchalant as this had turned out to be.

"Eh, I guess it's fine if you don't mind me doing your sister." her eyes left the screen of the phone and one eyebrow cocked in a questioning manner. Was he testing her? Bad move, Nick, bad move.

There is this guy, Nick, and he would do you. she flipped the phone to his direction so he would be able to read the little message on the screen. Personally she didn't care whether Olivia got the message or not. Her finger slid to the send button and she had a mischievous smile spread across her lips. She turned his little test right back to him.

"I can send it, I don't mind." now it was time for his reaction.

He leaned back in his chair and shrugged.

"If you don't mind, do it. But you're the one who'd know your sister's reaction, not me."

He was still testing her, but now he was actually a bit curious towards what her sister would say to a text like that. He didn't know her sister like she did, so it would be up to her to send it or not. He lifted an eyebrow.

"Well? Are you going to do it or not?" he smirked.

Nick found it funny that he was pressuring her to send that kind of text.

He leaned back, saying he didn't mind.

"Well? Are you going to do it or not?"

*Click*

She set the phone on the table and grabbed her smoothie. She was almost done and so she took a couple more gulps and set it back down on the table, before leaning back and crossing her legs.

Alexis had no clue how her sister react. She was quite excited for the text. "Might take her awhile...came from a poor family, so when she moved in with me I made her invest into a phone.. so she is just getting the hang of texting..." she flicked her foot up and down as she waited. Then the familiar ring tone went off and the phone nearly vibrated off the table.

Why must you insist on harrassing me?

Alexis sighed and held her phone up infront of Nick.

*Click*

She uploaded the picture into the message and replied back to her sister.

Here, this is what he looks like...and since when do you talk back?

She looked up to Nick with a smile. "She doesn't believe me, though she has more than one good reason as to why..." her phone went off sortly after

Sorry for talking back...
Alexis snorted at her sister's lack of self defence. "Damn straights you're sorry."

She pressed send and then they played the waiting game, Nick taking a sip of his smoothie, which as half full. He watched her questioningly throughout the process of receiving a text back.

When the phone signaled a reply, she snatched the phone and looked at the text, not telling Nick what it said, but instead taking a picture of him, texting and sending the picture she just took.

Nick was about to object, realizing what had just happened, when the phone buzzed and rang again. He was going to ask for an explanation, but she beat him to it.

"She doesn't believe me, though she has more than one good reason as to why..."

He didn't know exactly what she meant by that remark, but he was curious.

"So... what did she say...?"
