(Open to anyone, really, just let Ryuu get his Asian butt in here first.)
Adrian hadn't really been one for good moods lately. What with his kidnapping and subsequent expulsion from his family and all, one can hardly blame the boy. Kate was the only one keeping Adrian in any kind of check these days, and yet, due to the Reaper motto, she hardly did anything of the sort. As of late, Adrian had been free to do what he wanted, he wanted, and as of late, he'd been wanting to hurt people.
Maybe not cripplingly so, the boy wasn't a monster. However, he DID have a lot of pent up rage still within, even despite his usually outward displays of it on a day to day basis. Today, Adrian was displaying that rage by trashing a cafe.
He had already knocked out the cashier, and most of the patrons of the noon-time meal had scattered. The waitstaff cowered around, unsure whether to leave or not, as they probably assumed they would be getting compensated for this if they stayed. One guy tried to be a hero, sneaking up behind Adrian with the mop held like a bo staff, but Adrian caught the boy sneaking up by his reflection in the mirror, and grabbed a chair and whipped around, cracking the wooden seating apparatus over the boy's head. The waiter dropped like a stone and Adrian followed through with the swing, letting the chair go after a full turn to whip it into the window, shattering it with a loud crash. This would get the attention of anyone outside, if the spectacle inside hadn't done enough already.
"Anyone else want to take a shot?" Adrian growled, slamming his fist into the end of a table, breaking a large chunk of it off. The manager came in from the back, looking rather upset by all of this. Adrian's growl turned into a smirk, as a thought crossed his mind. "Just make the bill out to one William Hanlon," he said with nothing short of utter distaste.
He heard a noise behind him and turned around to face the doorway of the establishment, thinking he had heard the bell sound that jingles when someone walks in.

Ryuu walked along the streets, his hands in his pockets, going no where in particular. He passed by all kinds of people, people who had finished work, people dressed in casual clothes who were shopping, tourists, heck, even couples. As he passed by the cafe, he heard the sound of glass shattering, followed by a loud crash. Ryuu stopped in his tracks, and turned around, and saw a chair on the sidewalk, shards of glass scattered everywhere. A crowd had gathered outside, as Ryuu stared at the chair, before heading into the cafe himself. The minute Ryuu walked in, he had a bad feeling a fight was going to ensue, and it wasn't just because of the chair that had been thrown. For one thing, the place was absolutely trashed, most of the patrons of the noon-time meal had evacuated. Only the wait staff had stayed behind, and Ryuu saw the cashier and a waiter was knocked out, sprawled out on the ground. The bell that jingled when someone walks in faded out, as the door closed behind Ryuu with a soft click.
It was like a bull had come tearing through the place... more than twice, and it seemed the perpetrator behind this mess was a tall, muscular blond guy, who had broken off a chunk of a table, as Ryuu saw him turn around and face him. Ryuu looked around oddly calmly at the destruction in front of him, before looking at the blond guy. "Why?" He asked simply, his arms loosely by his sides, ready to react in case the guy decided to pick a fight. Ryuu saw the manager was clearly upset by this, but if a fight broke out, the better question would be, what hasn't been smashed to pieces here, not like a few more things being smashed was going to hurt... right? Ryuu spread his legs out slightly, though it looked like he was standing sideways, his arms still by his side, though he was focused and ready for anything, even a raging bull that happened to look like one certain blond guy named Adrian Hanlon.

A young Asian boy walked in at the time, and with him came only a single question, borne of a single word.
Why.
Adrian cocked his head to the side, regarding the boy with a scrutinizing look. It was a good question, in all honesty, but considering the former Hanlon's mindset at the time, it was anything but. "Are you serious?" he would ask in return, not answering the question presented to him first.
Adrian took a step forward, and held out his hands to showcase all that he had done. "Sometimes, a guy's just gotta let it all out, y'know? And if you can, then you should. If somebody's gotta take the punch for it, so to speak..." Adrian paused to look over to the fallen cashier and waiter, giving an unconcerned shrug. "Well, y'know what they say about omelettes and eggs and all that."
Adrian smirked, amused by his own words before turning back to the boy. "But you're not here about all that, right? You don't seem the type. Probably too reserved. But I bet you've got the power to do the same things I've done here today, if not more, don't you?" Adrian gestured his hands towards Ryuu, palms out to question him with his body as well as his words. "And really, that begs an even better question..."
Adrian shrugged as he regarded the Asian before him.
"Why not?"

Ryuu saw the guy cock his head to side, regarding Ryuu with a scrutinizing look on his face, as Ryuu returned the look with his own calm expression. "Are you serious?" Well given the fact Ryuu was frighteningly calm, I'd say yes, he was serious. He saw the guy take a step forward, holding his hands out, showcasing all that he had done. "Sometimes, a guy's just gotta let it all out, y'know? And if you can, then you should. If somebody's gotta take the punch for it, so to speak..." Ryuu saw the guy pause to look over at the downed cashier and waiter, before shrug unconcerned. "Well, y'know what they say about omelets and eggs and all that." Ryuu saw the guy turn back to him, a smirk on his face, apparently amused by his own words, as Ryuu maintained his cool and calm demeanor.
"But you're not here about all that, right? You don't seem the type. Probably too reserved. But I bet you've got the power to do the same things I've done here today, if not more, don't you?" Ryuu saw the guy gesture his hands towards, his palms out to question him. "And really, that begs an even better question..." Ryuu saw him shrug as the guy regarded him. "Perhaps I do have the power to do the same things that you did here today," Ryuu said after taking a moment to think, "But you and I, are different. I don't seek fights out unless there's a reason. This is no different. I do not seek out to aimlessly trash a place, not unless there is a reason." Ryuu, during this time, had closed his eyes, his mind focusing, before they shot open. "You involved innocent people in your destruction, and that is something that I cannot understand why." Ryuu then spread his legs out shoulder-length, his arms still loosely by his side. "The better question is, why did you do this? Simply to revel in destruction? If that is the case..." Ryuu would bring his hands out in front, open loosely, as he focused on the guy, waiting to see what he would do.

"Then what?" Adrian would ask, the smirk widening. He was enjoying this one so far. It seemed this Asian boy would play the part of the heroic good guy, if only for now. "Even if I had done all these things, what is there left to do or say? What's done has been done, after all. Would you fight me, to save their honor?"
Adrian couldn't help but laugh, though, despite the context, it didn't seem as if he was lauging at Ryuu, but rather at the whole scene around him, as well as the irony. Only a few scant weeks ago, he'd have looked down his own nose at himself for his actions, but likely secretly wanted to do the same. Being free from his name also seemed to mean he was free from any shackles holding him back, and the freedom felt good. Adrian was simply enjoying himself at this point, and not to mention giving the onlookers outside something to watch.
He could feel their stares, and knew they would be getting bored soon. The destruction was winding down, and no one was getting hurt. People were bloodthirsty by nature, regardless of whether they tried to conceal it or not. Even this Asian in front of him seemed to be heavily insinuating that a fight between them would soon take place, despite there being little reasoning for it, or at least reasoning in the way that Adrian supposed the smaller boy defined it.
Adrian lifted his fists, no longer adopting a rigid boxing stance, but a much wider one, his right hand close up to his face, his left farther out, fingers curled into a tight fist. "The choice is yours, my friend. You seem to harbor thoughts of it, it's just as well that you came forth now. If not... can you take the risk that I won't attack you the second you turn your back?"
Adrian smirked, and held his fighting stance. While he waited for Ryuu to make his move, Adrian mused over a few things. Primarily, the irony in the situation. Ryuu seemed to be willing to fight in order to take revenge for the innocents that Adrian had injured, yet, and maybe just in Adrian's mind, neither had been innocent at all.
Secondly was the overwhelming adrenaline rush that came with the thought of fighting someone who would put up a real battle.
Thirdly, and most importantly, was the fact that, deep in the back of his mind, Adrian couldn't help but feel like he was emulating Mathew Amtrum, perhaps more closely than he could ever expect, and yet all the while without attempting to.

"Then what?" Ryuu heard the guy ask, his smirk widening. "Even if I had done all these things, what is there left to do or say? What's done has been done, after all. Would you fight me, to save their honor?" "Honor is overrated," Ryuu replied, as he heard Adrian laugh, despite the context, it didn't seem like he was laughing at Ryuu, more like at the entire situation, "But I'd fight you, not to save anyone's honor. I'd fight you, just for the sake of a good ol' fashion spar." Ryuu didn't like to fight, not without a good reason, and wasn't getting stronger a good reason? Ryuu could feel the stares of the people around them, they would be getting bored soon. The destruction was slowing down, and no one was getting hurt or injured. People, despite how much they deny it, had a bloodthirsty nature to them, whether they concealed it or not. All human beings were like that, it was a primitive instinct you could say. Ryuu saw the guy lift his hands up, no longer in a rigid boxing stance, but a much wider one, his right hand close up to his face, his left farther out, fingers curled into a tight fist.
"The choice is yours, my friend. You seem to harbor thoughts of it, it's just as well that you came forth now. If not... can you take the risk that I won't attack you the second you turn your back?"
Ryuu saw Adrian smirk as he held his stance, while Ryuu shifted his back foot slightly. "I don't usually fight, not without a good reason. Even if you attack me the second I turn my back, that is your choice, your decision. I wouldn't hold it against you, seeing as you choose it of your own free will." Ryuu then flexed his fingers, before returning them back to the loose pose he had been in before. "If it's a spar you want, then by all means, we'll spar." Ryuu took in a deep breath, while keeping his focus on Adrian, letting his mind relax. Despite the fact there was little reason for either of them to fight, Ryuu had no idea whether the two Adrian had knocked out were innocent or not, but that was not his reason to spar. His reason was, he wanted to get stronger, to protect those he cared about, and every fight helped him out, little by little. "I'm not fighting to get revenge for the two you knocked out," Ryuu said, looking at Adrian, "That would be pointless. I'm fighting, to get stronger."

As Ryuu spoke, revealing his true intentions, Adrian laughed again, a wide smile on his face. He was enjoying himself, and this boy had no intention of ruining his fun. He pointed out towards Ryuu with his left index finger somewhat dramatically, since his arm was already out, his entire arm was pointed at Ryuu.
"I may just find myself liking you yet, my friend," he said, his smile slinking back down to a knowing smirk.
Adrian rolled his right shoulder as his left finger retracted, and he flexed the fingers on his left hand a few times, before flicking them back toward his face, in the universal "Bring it" sign. "If that's your call, buddy, then by all means, let's get this going. Full disclosure, though: I don't just spar."

The moment Ryuu revealed his true intentions for fighting, he heard Adrian laugh, a wide smile on his face, as Ryuu smirked slightly. It seemed he was enjoying himself, and Ryuu had no intention of ruining his fun. He then saw Adrian point out at him with his left index finger in a somewhat dramatic fashion, since his arm was already out, his entire arm was pointing at Ryuu. "I may just find myself liking you yet, my friend." He heard Adrian say, his smile slinking back down to a knowing smirk. "I could say the same for you good sir," Ryuu replied, the smirk still on his face, "Anyone who likes a good fight can't be all bad." He then saw Adrian roll his left shoulder as he retracted his left finger, flexing the fingers of his left hand a few times before flicking them back toward his face, in the universal "Bring it" sign, as Ryuu's smirk widened.
"If that's your call, buddy, then by all means, let's get this going. Full disclosure, though: I don't just spar."
"Heh, as you wish," Ryuu replied, as he clapped his hands together, preparing his Qi for activation, but he highly doubted he would need to use it, "Just to let you know, I never hold back in any of my fights, I fight with all I got." He would then run at Adrian at a reasonable speed, one that would allow him to stop or evade easily. Once he reached Adrian, he would rear his left arm back and launch a simple jab, all this strike served to do was let Ryuu assess Adrian's skills, see how fast he could react to Ryuu's attack. While Ryuu launched his jab, he kept his right hand close by, in case he needed to counter or block any strikes Adrian might launch while Ryuu was attacking. Ryuu's eyes focused not only on Adrian's arms, but kept an eye out on his lower limbs too, which were just as equally as deadly too.
