"Yeah, it was nice to meet you. It's always nice to have bold friends, even if they have a hidden wild side they don't want to share."
He eyed her playfully. Nick would never give up his quest of, well, being himself. He couldn't help flirting now, and he couldn't ever not help himself. He chuckled when she said she didn't know where her class was.
"Mind escorting me to class? I'll get lost right now."[/b]
"I do not mind at all, love. I shall escort you, unless you decide to ditch with me." he offered.
Nick was a bad influence when it came to girls, class, and the option to ditch and go off and talk or whatever.

"Well you'll have to forgive me." she said with a small smirk."I've never been good at sharing." Tash considered it for a minute. The proposition of an entirely free day was tempting. It wasn't that Tash hated learning or school. It was just that her last school had been a magnate school. She was already a semester ahead of any of the classes here and she often felt like classroom learning was a waste of time in the first place. But she hadn't even been here one day. And she couldn't afford car insurance on her own, so....
"I think I'll take a rain check. I think I should at least pretend I give a shit on my first day here.." She nudges him with her elbow, her emerald eyes dancing. "Come on, donnaiolo, if I'm gonna show up at all, I'm gonna be on time. That's how I do shit."
Even though she means it, it's also said playfully. Tash might be a girl who says what she really thinks, but you'll rarely catch her taking herself too seriously. While she waits for him to lead the way, she rummages around in her bag, producing a leather headband with purple strips of fabric on it and a pen. In a practiced motion, she pulls the band over her head then slides it back in a somewhat successful bid to contain her wild locks.
"Seriously though. Raincheck. I'm not gonna disappear into thin air. Here -" She snags his hand and pops the cap off the pen with her teeth, then writes her number on his palm in acid green ink. "Happy now, donnaiolo?" she ribs him."Now you won't lose me. Come on, let's move."

Tash was a stubborn one, and Nick liked something he couldn't just have, every so often. It gave him a challenge and something to look forward to, and it made victory that much sweeter if he succeeded. But now was not the time, he would have plenty more opportunities because now he had her number, and that also told Nick that Tash wasn't done with him either.
"Happy now, donnaiolo? Now you won't lose me. Come on, let's move."[/i]
Nick laughed at the nickname she gave him in Italian. It was funny because it was true. He collected his stuff and began leading her to her class, knowing the exact way to the hallway that housed American Government.
"So you think I'm a lady's man, eh?" he looked up at her with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

Her hand snakes out, slapping the palm she's written on lightly."Don't take that the wrong way, mister."She says with a small impish smile.
"I like you, Nick, but you'll be fighting a losing battle, I can promise you that."A small shrug, light punch to the shoulder. A quick flash of a smile."Of course, if you're intent upon giving it a shot I suppose there's nothing I can really do to stop you. And I don't think you're a ladies' man. I've already done my thinking. By now, I know."
He would try anyway: she knew it. Boys like him could never resist a challenge. Fine by her - he was a sweet guy so she knew no harm would come of it. She adjusted the strap on her messenger bag so it didn't dig so far into her tawny shoulder and turned to face him.
"Which way?"

She was sly, but that only increased Nick's curiosity and forwardness towards her. He smirked at her knowing that he was a lady's man, it was a bit obvious, but she had the wherewithal to resist it. But Nick thought that maybe over time, he could break down her barriers eventually. It didn't really matter too much to him, but it was still worth a shot. Couldn't hurt, right? Plus it was the fact that he could lose at it is what made it a challenge.
"Which way?"[/i]
"It's actually just in that building and down the hall to the left. What room number." he said as he pushed one of the double doors to the building open.

Boys. They never quit. Reaching into one of the many pouches of her bag, she extracted a much folded schedule. It read "Natasha Maria LaVeau - Grade 11 - Semester Schedule" across the top. She studied it for a minute, tongue poking out as she concentrated on finding the right class. "Room 212. Grazie." She walked through the door he'd opened for her, flashing him a quick smile as she tucked the schedule into her back pocket. What a gentleman. That was rare out here in NorCal. In the States, period. Well, she could see how his quick charm, his little bits of chivalry, and those big blues might do it for some girls. Wasn't that she couldn't appreciate. It was simply that he didn't stand a chance to win this little game of theirs. Not that he'd see that. Which was okay. She found that stubbornness kind of endearing. Tash found herself at the door to the classroom presently, a few last students filing in before the final bell for passing period. She turned to Nick, slouching against the door a bit and smiling. "Well, Nick, you're a lifesaver. I'd have been lost without you. Have fun 'in class', huh?" The little smirk told him she remembered very well he was ditching."Later?"

Nick smirked at her. She was a fun one, and no matter how stubborn she was, he would continue to pester her with his antics. He found her too intriguing and attractive to let up any time soon and he had both her name and number. Nick was set and he thought that he'd see her somewhat soon. "No problem, love. I try my best, and I'll catch you later." he winked at her. Nick was hopeless in trying to ever kick the habit of flirting, but for now he enjoyed it. He turned around and walked away, waving to the girl behind him, wondering where he was going to sleep now. -End-
