Perfect rivals indeed. Bastille stood her stance ready for the next attack. Her eyes seamed to smirk just as much as her lips did as they curled back over her teeth. She let her hair fall around her face out of the pony tail and with a dramatic flick of her head it scattered becoming soaked instantly. Her hands gripped the hilt and she prepared for the next move.
She headed straight on again full in attacks and ready to dodge. She would go for a barrage of cross body slices, then go to using her legs and extra arm for punches and kicks. She wanted to overwhelm him with fast and flexible attacks forcing him to think about this fight.

Gabriel's eyes studied her intently, he wasn't thinking per say, he was more in a trance. It was a dark one, the rain fell in about them falling brilliantly soaking his hair and stinging his eyes. His sword buzzed with the jitter of electric volts surging through it. He'd have to finely tune it next duel to greater enhance the strength and the magnitude of the force he so desired.
Bastille charged, it was unlike her to charge that was the thought shooting into his head as he worried of what she was going to do. The thing about this rivalry is that they stayed perfectly in tune as one enhanced the other. their methods changed to meet a specific purpose and their strengths tilted to combat the other. Gabriel raised a blade to defend from the clashing blow, backing a step to counteract the force. And with the same step he pressed the blow back with ample force seething in the vacuum of static. She had a free arm as did he, Gabriel would see it used to a purpose. Lifting his right arm he reached out to grab her face to send the volts through it and perhaps knock her out before any ample beating was to ensue. Truth was he was fighting an inner turmoil within himself so that he wouldn't become overwhelmed and resort to alter tactics ones he had unfortunately learned for the purpose against the pillars.

Bastille twirled away from his thrust for her face. She could still feel the static in her body and her turn ended on not so elegant a note. Her fingers twitched uncontrollably and she had to work to keep up with his powerful throws. He wasn’t exact huge so it was a bit easier to dodge him. She pushed off and went for a full frontal stab to the chest hoping to jam the blade so far it would break a few ribs before she pulled away and spun again to slam another into his back. Her ability to calculate, like always, was her upper hand.
But it was in these attacks she realized his attackd had grazed her, leaving a her injured eye bleeding. Great…virgin mary much? She felt like the rain only made it more dramatic, hopefully it would wash away the blood. She could also feel her attacks slowing. The electricity was jolting her so much her reaction time was slowling.

His fist missed and her blade drew ever neared to his chest. In a hasty retreat Gabriel leapt back loosing some footing but grabbed at the end of her blade sending a few volts through it. His ribs were fine however as he fell to his knees pulling the sword in over his shoulder and aiming his own under her arm. It would be slightly parallel as to miss and potential body parts but it would drag her right into him the center of his power. The voltage there would feel quite intense and the lengths of their blades would count for nothing.
"You've certainly gotten better." Gabriel chanted panting from exhaustion, the flow was taking its toll on him as well. They were fairly close but it was evident that for now the advantage was his.

Bastille let out a gasp and suddenly fell forward into her blade. It hurt, god it felt like her insides where on fire. She coughed and smirked. She then slashed across his chest and moving towards him went to do multiple combos…yet still her moves where slowing. But that didn’t mean they weren’t fast. She went for a barrage attack. She wasn’t sure if anything hit but suddenly she back flipped and landed on her feet but slid down to one knee. She pushed off that knee to stand back up but her head was hanging and she was out of breathe. Her skin was steaming and her eye continued to bleed. Her heart was racing faster then it should be. She would have to find away to counter his attack.

Gabriel reacted badly in the closed quarters, he suffered from an onslaught of her slashes, feeling the buckle of his bones beneath the force of the attacks. She was getting stronger, soon enough they'd be tied again. He couldn't stand the defeat of t all, he wanted to hold out but his breath was weighing heavily. Taking a step back he looked at her dropping his blade to the floor. his body seemed to be glowing with the electric current still pulsating through him. It was painful, and he needed a remedy.

Bastille backed up a bit her legs shaking and her limbs shaking. It was a draw, and it was evident. They both had held her own. Her skin was burned and bleeding and her innards churned in a most sickening manner. She felt like she was melting in a slow and painful way. Like overcooked eggs left to fry in the pan. Her heart was beating to fast, and the blood was rushing through her head to fast. She held up her sword to go again with a smirk. But suddenly the arm drooped again and she stood there very still. Ironically, she had passed out standing up.
