Nick knew the stakes he would place on the table. They were the stakes he used for any fight with a pretty girl, and it had already served him well one time around.
"A date. With me. That's all, the rest of our friendship would be up to you." he said nonchalantly, slowing walking toward her, dragging his feet.
He smirked at her. Putting his hoodie in his locker, he was now sporting a tight black T-shirt that hugged his chest. Not only was it comfortable, but it didn't get in the way.
"And what are your stakes for if you win?"

Bastille smirked. Her lips curled up into an evil smile almost. Her eyes narrowed and her hair blew in the wind softly. Dramatic effect was a go. Thank you Amtrum, it was her turn now. She secretly made a mental note to give kudos to Mathew if she ever saw him again.
“you will become and indentured servant of the Cunningham family… simply chores is all…anything I require. That is all..” she said with a satisfied smirk. Unlike Amtrum however, he wasn’t going to make him a complete slave. She would even pay him, unknowingly…she just wanted to revel in the fact she had indentured a person before. The thought made her giddy for this fight.
“shall we begin?”

"Yes." simply put.
He probably would mind being her slave. In multiple ways as Nick thought. But that was beside the point. He was here and now, and he would show this "royalty" a thing or two in the art of dueling. He also knew not to underestimate her, as she was probably well versed in the form as well. The wealthy families always taught their kin the ancient arts of their ancestors. How good they were was a whole other story.
Nick looked down at the two culturally opposite swords.
"Which is mine and which is yours?" he asked, pointing at the weapons.

Bastille looked at the swords with only glance then threw the samurai sword towards the kid. She withdrew her own sword and took her stance. It was almost perfect, like a dance. She closed her eyes then suddenly opened them. Her eyes where a little more orange in color due to the contacts she wore, for they increased her ability to read movement. Her hands gripped the handle and her shoes dug in a bit. She then flicked her sword out in a swift movement with an almost evil grin upon her face.
“shall we begin?”
She asked and then flicked it into the proper stance.
“on guard” her face began stoic and nonchalant, her smirk gone and replaced with a frown.

Nick caught the sword and looked at it with a disgusted look on his face. A katana? This was going to be interesting...
He unsheathed the weapon and swung it around to get a feel for it. It wasn't that bad. Odd blade, but light none-the-less. Nick shrugged.
"Alright."
He lunged at her with the sword, jabbing at her with it, aimed at her chest. It was a bit awkward to be using the katana like a rapier. He would continue to go at her until their swords became locked or if she tried to do something fancy.

She locked him with ease but pirouetted around her blade letting hers slide away as she slid her fingers down the edge of the blade and went towards his face going to slam her hilt into the side of his face. Keeping in close distance would keep him from using wide swings and she intended to kill him with it. She wasn’t sure if her hilt made contact but if not she would jump over him and then turn to hold a sword to him if he turned so that it would be directly in front of him. She smirked…this guy had enough brains to predict some of her movements but she knew she was just above him in some of her stats. Plus she had two items costumed to help her….She might be cheating a bit but over all it only made her giggle. For once it was good to be evil. A snicker escaped her lips and she would then go forward again keeping him on the defense. She would continue to swing at him.

Her blows with her sword hit hard, but Nick was able to withstand them. Once they were locked, she tried to fake him out and hit him in the face with her hilt, Nick dodging the attempted cheap shot with lightning fast haste, thus activating his Qi. She then jumped over him in an attempt to stab him from behind. He knew that if he turned around, he'd get a face full of sharped metal and he wasn't in the proper situation where he could duel her backwards. So he dove in the way he was facing, getting away from her and spreading the distance between them so they weren't fighting in close quarters.
Nick turned around after rolling and got to his feet quickly. They now faced each other and Nick had a very serious look on his face. He twirled the sword in his hand a couple times before getting a good grasp on it and charge her with fast, powerful, wide slices.

Bastille kicked up her leg and slammed it against his blade. Her wrist bands upped her dexterity and her contacts her intelligence. Taking and attack like this to her leg was nothing and since she was able to close to predict his movements her smirk only grew wider. Yet she knew not to underestimate him…she could tell he was strong. Yet she was being a bit condescending when every time he got near to touching her and she blocked along with saying a quick “good” or “nice” as if in training.
Bastille would then finally go and slam her sword against his and attempt to push it to the ground as she slid up it again towards him going to ram her elbow in his face then her sword. She wasn’t skilled with her qi just yet…but if she could continuously dodge him for a while…it should get her somewhere…then again she was being forced to attack so her qi was near useless right now. So she focused on her items giving her strength. She then would go to trip him with a quick slide of her leg and slide down into a crouch to slice across his legs. She wasn’t going to give him much time to react.

Man, she was even fast for when his Qi was active. Nick kept parrying her normal blows, but those cheap shots through him off guard.
Bastille's leg kicked his sword, forcing it to the left at a force that would remove it from his hand if he tried to bring it back, so he continued with the force, twirling around back to the starting point, able to block her next attack.
Nick ignored her compliments as he was too engulfed in battle to hear them.
Then she swung forcefully down at his sword, pushing it towards the ground. She then leaned in with her elbow to his face as his sword was down and then tried to slice off his face with her sword. Well, the elbow connected and it hurt badly, but Nick was too on top of the position of her sword to let it lop off his head. He used his Qi to duck, the dulled blade still able to remove some strands of hair as it passed.
Now was time for the counterattack. She was basically right next to him, so he took his right arm in which the sword was and swung it upward very powerfully from the ground where she had locked it beforehand. He would be amazed if she could dodge or block and attack that was right next to her after she used her weapon to attack him.

She took the hit. Straight on but only with a smirk as she used it to slam her own sword back at his shoulder, going to hit the pressure point for his arm hoping to keep knock it out of use. She then grabbed his sword and went to push it away from her.
If it worked the sword would most likely somewhat cut her gloved hand. Regardless she would continued to push it away as she went for a full head slam. She then would go to kick him where the sun precariously never shined. She then would go to, with her own sword, remove his from him and then point her sword at him. Of course all of this might not work and certainly not if the first move didn’t.
If she was unable to push the sword away she would twist around him going to slam her sword into his back. The plan was to stay on the offensive and keep this guy going. As long as she could hold out fighting she could very well win this quickly.

Bastille took his powerful hit like it was nothing, smirking as she took it.
Uh-oh, that's not good and I'm too close...
Nick looked at her with wide eyes before she slammed her sword into his shoulder, loosening his grip on his own weapon, allowing her to swipe it out of the way and bash his head in with her own before surprisingly kicking him in his family jewels. Talk about a good follow-through. With two of his pressure points hit, he wouldn't be able to hold onto his weapon when Bastille hit it to the side with her sword. It skid across the roof and stopped near the edge, too far for Nick to retrieve it if he ever recollected himself.
Nick looked back towards Bastille from watching his sword slide away to find a blade right in front of his face. He smiled embarrassingly with defeat.
"Y-you win, queenie. I'm assuming no date then?"

She held her stomach from when she had taken an earlier hit. Her head was spinning a bit. The kid was good with a blade. However her hand was simply better played, her sword was still tightly in her hand. She wondered if it would be an appropriate time to tell him that she had broken her hand on purpose, upon numerous occasions so that her hand was more accustomed to having an iron grip around her handle so she wouldn’t let go. In a way that was kind of cheating, then again so was her choice to use gymnastics as well as a little old fashion street fighting.
She then bent down and gave him her hand. “nah, unfortunately for you im seeing someone…” she said with a smirk. This was unlike her. To be giving a hand openly without interjection. She was changing again…she hated that. When he was up, whether by her hand or not, she stood and flicked her sword up in front of her face then quickly away signaling the end of the match and then walking away. As she got to the door she paused.
“monkey see, monkey do…” she murmured to herself then turned over her shoulder to look at him with a cynical smile.
“it will be your majesty from here on out boya”

“Nah, unfortunately for you I'm seeing someone…”
Nick frowned and took her extended hand to help himself up. So she had planned to win the entire time, so the stake that he placed didn't really matter. This girl was full of foul play, but nevertheless, Nick had enjoyed the fight and he had lost fair and square. Well, kind of. But Nick being a man of him word, would fulfill his promise.
Bastille signaled the end of the match, and Nick would have replied with his own, but his sword was on the ground, twenty feet away from him.
“Monkey see, monkey do… it will be your majesty from here on out boya”
Nick sighed, not terribly thrilled for the week in which he would be her personal slave.
"Yes, your majesty..." he said half to himself.
He dusted himself off and followed Bastille towards the entrance from the roof.
