Was the other girl going to cry? It sure as hell sounded like it. Kate didn't say anything, just searching the area for something to get the hell out of here. The blonde wanted out for the sole reason of removing herself from the small area with the other girl. If she freaked out, it wouldn't be pretty. One way or another.
The entire thing shuddered once again, Kate stood. If this thing was going down, she was going down standing. Unknown to the two females, the reason it was shuddering like this was because Kate's bodyguards were trying to get the damned thing open. They were in the process of getting the door open, and rescuing the two girls trapped inside.
"Well, I suppose this isn't the greatest afternoon ever."
A half joke, really. Kate did joke in situations like these. She nearly always did. Not in the old days though, when she had acted like she had a stick up her butt. Silly old Kate.

"Well, I suppose this isn't the greatest afternoon ever."
Sara looked up at the girl noting that her voice was coming from higher up... or in her general direction at least... wondering if she should stand to. She was scared shitless, but she really didn't want the other girl to know that. She had let out some startled whimpers as the elevator had shook, but the girl must not have heard them as she was standing. Thankfully...
The elevator gave a small shudder and she eased herself up the wall, until she was on her feet. There was a loud banging and scraping noise and Sara screamed something along the lines of "Oh my god, we're going to die", her hands moving to her head. Immediately after, the elevator gave a particularly large lurch and Sara was thrown forwards towards the other girl.

Kate McHallin was the sort who reacted easily to certain situations. This was one of those situations. The other girl lurched her way, and the blonde didn't miss a beat. She grabbed the female known as Sara by her arms, and stopped her from slamming into the wall. A growl escaped her lips, and she yelled in the general direction of the doors.
"I SWEAR TO GOD CAPTAIN, IF THAT'S YOUR WAY TO RESCUE US I'M GUNNA DAMN WELL FIRE YOUR BALD ASS."
She had figured it out, from the sounds that were being made and the direction it was all coming from of course. A small gap opened from the doors, and light poured into the small space like some sort of holy guidance. Until a man stepped in the way.
"I am not bald thank you Miss McHallin. We'll have you out in a moment, so I'd like to think I get to keep my job."
The voice was smooth, deep, and calm. Swan was working then. The tall, handsome one with long brown hair. Not the big bald guy in charge of them all. Kate had a lot of bodyguards.

"I SWEAR TO GOD CAPTAIN, IF THAT'S YOUR WAY TO RESCUE US I'M GUNNA DAMN WELL FIRE YOUR BALD ASS."
Sara felt herself come to a sudden stop, the blonds hands on her arms. Sara didn't move an inch as she yelled towards the elevator doors, and then she pushed herself away, leaning back against the wall across of the girl. What the hell was going on here? The elevator suddenly filled with light. Just as quick as that had happened, a figure suddenly blocked the doorway, the light blinking out again.
"I am not bald thank you Miss McHallin. We'll have you out in a moment, so I'd like to think I get to keep my job."
Sara was confused, and rightly so. She looked at the girl as the male voice filled the elevator. "Who's that? Who's out there?" Did it really matter though? As long as they got out right? Sara's breaths were coming in pants as she tried to calm herself, both excitement and fear filling her. She continued to try to press herself against the wall, as though trying to sink into it.

Ah, yes, wasn't this going to be fun? They were to be rescued, and all that jazz. It seemed the other girl was having another freak out of sorts. Kate let go the moment the other girl pushed away. No point in holding on, they weren't in some sort of fight at the moment anyways.
"Those would be the guys I texted, who always respond faster than anyone else because that's what they're paid to do. To keep me from bodily harm. You could call them bodyguards, men on my pay."
The blonde offered her a smile, and yet couldn't put any sort of warmth into it what so ever. She didn't really like the girl, so it wasn't possible in this moment. Most of the time Kate could fake her way through a warm smile, but truth be told she was rather... antsy about this as well.
Something was shoved into the doors. Some sort of gizmo to help wench the thing open. They would be free soon. Oh so very soon.

Sara let out a small terrified scream as something was shoved through the doors. Turning her head to see it, she realized it was opening the elevator doors. Slowly, but it was opening.
Sara, in her terrified state of shock stood frozen to the spot as she watched the doors inch open. In her mind, all she could see was freedom now. The contraption forced the doors open enough that she could slip out and she took her chance. Without a second though to her safety, or the other girl, Sara slipped through the small opening. Thank god she was so small.
Outside the elevator, Sara dropped to her knees, her chest heaving as she sucked in air as though she had been suffocated. It was a panic attack. Not the first time she had had one, but still scary none the less. Her hand rubbed her chest as she tried to calm herself, oblivious to the people around her.

The other female screamed and bolted. Kate was scared too, but you didn't see her doing silly things like that. No, she had complete control on her fears and issues, and kept them in hand with an iron grasp. She had dealt with worse things in her life, near death by an elevator falling wasn't going to undo her. The doors were wenched even further open, and a hand shot through with it's palm up. There were scars lining the skin, and Kate knew it was one of her boys by the suit arm and the cuff links. So Miss McHallin stepped forward and placed her own hand in his.
Soon enough she was pulled out of the elevator with all her things in tow, and there was plenty of clapping from the small crowd gathered around. Swan, for that was his name, grinned and took a few bows before turning to his mistress and beginning to check her vitals and such.
Those emerald eyes landed on the girl sitting on the floor freaking out. Her own heart was racing, but there was nothing but cool and calm on her face and body tone. As if nothing got to her at all. She smiled softly at Swan, then back down at Sara.
"You're fine now. If you're system is really freaking out, then I suggest going to some place wide and open, with your feet firmly on the ground. It'll help chase the fear away."

Sara tilted her head up to look at Mara. Her breath was ragged and her heart was beating out of her chest. She needed to get out of here. The small crowd of people wasn't helping matters in the least. Not at all.
Her breath shuttered out of her as she let her gaze fall back to the ground. Getting out of here was easier said then done. But she was right. Sara needed to get out of here. But where to?
She pushed shakily herself to her feet and began to make her way towards the thinnest part of the crowd to squeeze her way out. She just needed to get out of here. That was all. Once she was out, things would be fine. She knew it.
The crowd in front of her suddenly thickened and she froze. Quickly, she turned around and started to walk the other way. Ya... This wasn't as easy as she had hoped.

Yes, a rather large crowd had suddenly had appeared. They had wanted to know what the hell was going on, after all. However, Kate had a buffer. She had her boys. Her hair was put back into place, and everything was settled. If the other female really wanted to get out of the crowd, all she had to do was tag along with Kate's group.
"Thanks boys. I'd like to get out of here now, okay? We can sue the company, this building, and everyone who works here later. Don't let me forget, alright?"
And with that her boys would start pushing their way through the crowd. Soon enough they would be through, and Kate would be heading outside. If Sara was smart enough, she'd follow. If not, then she was on her fucking own. Kate out.
