The roof of the school was like a sanctuary for Connor. Especially now with the seven day a week schedule, the days were more hectic, and the students were restless. People were more willing and ready to snap at you over the most trivial of things. Connor knew that it was due to the stress and aggravation caused by "the powers that be," and he was contemplating ways to try and deal with the situation. Perhaps there was a way to remedy this. After all, there were many students, and only a few of the color guys. Maybe...
No, the students were too scattered to bond together for a common cause. Maybe a few could be rallied, but was that enough? At Connor's last school he had a voice. People listened to him. But here, he was not known. Not yet. And he didn't want to make waves. Not without having some kind of backing.
He was so deep in thought, he almost didn't notice another joining him. Someone new. Connor hoped that it wasn't someone hostile, though he didn't know until either spoke. For now, he continued his thought train, allowing it to run it's course until he had either come to a conclusion, or it crashed with no solution.
His cane rested next to him on the half wall that formed the rail, and his dark glasses covered his pale eyes, the ones that made everyone but Bix uncomfortable. His gloves hid the scars, and offered limited protection during a fight. As Connor sought peace, he hoped a fight was not in his near future. At least here in the open, there wasn't noise to blur his "vision."

Sara adjusted the crutches under her arms. This... really wasn't the best idea... but eh... why the hell not? Seemed fine to her when she had come up with it. Standing there now, rock in hand, she leaned back against the wall in front of the main office. The glass windows dividing the office from the hallway glinted in the sunlight from outside. No, this definitely wasn't a smart idea. But since when had anything Sara done ever been smart?
She leaned one of the crutches against the wall next to her. All the staff were in a meeting. There should be no one here right now. She tested out her injured knee, her sweat pants loose around the injury. It hurt like a bitch to move it, and her face scrunched up in pain as she hissed out a breath. She fully intended to make this as hard as she could for everyone involved by simply just causing problems... Creating small distractions. Nothing got to people more then the small things. She hoped. It was more that she couldn't really do shit all with her knee like it was. She pulled down her t-shirt, and then drew her arm back...
1... 2... 3...- "HEY"
She froze, her head turning to see who had spoken. And of course, there stood... What was his name? Bruce or something? The bane of her existence... =__= The hall monitor. Why the hell did the school still have a hall monitor? Bruce just liked to feel important... Stupid jerk.
She sighed, her arm dropping. "What do you want?"
"What do you think you're doing?"
He took a step towards her, coming up in front of her, his arms reaching out. Bruce looked strong, but he was nothing compared to her. The rock was in her pocket in a second, gone from sight. She lifted her hand, and simply pressed it to his chest. Her qi activated, a small booming sound ringing through the halls as he flew back into the window she had just been planning to throw the rock through. Perfect. She laughed. Job well done <3
And then she was off, moving down the hall slowly as she tried to move on her crutches. Behind her, came the sounds of Bruce coming to. She looked around, and spotted a door down the hall that wasn't a classroom. Perfect. She limped off towards it as the sound of the hall monitor running down the hall came from behind her. Bugger...
She reached the door and pulled it open, stumbling as she tried to get into the room as quickly as possible. Banging on the door signaled he had reached her, and instinctual, she slammed her fist down on the knob, breaking the door. The flash of triumph died quickly as she realized she had now locked herself into an unknown room.
She turned and realized it led to the roof... =__= Damn...
It took her what felt like forever to crawl up the stairs and reach the roof. By the time she pushed open the door and fell through, landing on her stomach, she was covered in sweat and VERY pissed. She was not a happy camper. Not at all. She laid there for a few seconds, breathing heavily, and then opened her eyes, looking around.
She noticed there was someone else there and wondered why they hadn't come to help the poor injured girl laying on the ground. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the rock in one swift motion. From her position, her aim was bad, but she whipped it at him anyways, the rock flying just to the side of him. "Are you going to help me or what?"

He heard noises from the door that led to the school, and what sounded like someone trying to get up the stairs. Also... was that the doorknob being busted? He wasn't sure. But, someone came up the stairs and fell. He heard the clatter of something else. Crutches. The person was injured. Before Connor had a chance to do anything, the girl screamed at him, and made a motion.
A rock hit the wall next to him, bounced, and went over the side.
Connor was a bit confused. Why was she so angry? He hadn't done anything. Then again, that was what she yelled. He remembered everyone was under stress from the new rules, so he didn't bother yelling back. After all, what good would it have done. Leaving his cane behind, he made his way over to her.
"Sorry, I didn't see you." He extended a hand to help her up, hearing the draw of breath. She was hurt. He threw her arm over his shoulder, and helped her get to one of the spots n the roof. Some kind of box, something Connor had sat on before. "Sit here till you feel better." He made his way back to where he found her, and tapped the roof with his foot. The vibration gave a clearer shot, and he found her crutches, which he also brought to her.
"Here. So, what..." Connor didn't get to finish as the door was busted open, and someone was heading up the stairs. Connor had afeeling this girl had something to do with it, but decided to help. Quickly, he grabbed her around the waste, and pulled her behind the box. He managed to pull the crutches there, too.
He motioned for her to be silent, as he hopped up on the box just as a large boy came up, obviously pissed off.
"Hey, you! Where is she?"
"Where's who?"
"Don't play dumb. This is the roof. There's nowhere she could go! Didn't you see her?"
"I didn't see anybody. Ever."
Connor pointed to his shades, then in the direction of his cane, which he went to retrieve. "I also didn't hear anyone except you." As Connor grabbed the cane, he felt where the rock landed, and picked that up, too. The boy looked at Connor, not wanting to believe him.
"Oh, she's up here. I know. I'll find her, and when I do..."
When his attention was off the entrance to the roof, Connor winged the rock down the stairs, making it sound as if someone was hurrying down them in a random fashion. None the less, it got his attention.
"SARA! You little bitch! I'll get you for this!"
He raced down the stairs, and Connor headed back to the box. "Well, he's gone, but I don't know if he'll be back. At least for now, you should be able to rest up." Connor smiled, sitting on the box again. "I'll assume you're Sara. I'm Connor. Hopefully I can greet you without having you throw something else at me." His tone was open and friendly, and didn't seem to mind her earlier outburst.

She watched him get up and make his way over to her. As he got up, she noticed the cane he left behind. O__________O Was he...? Looking at his face she saw the glasses. -__-" Oh nice Sara. Very nice. Get mad at the blind kid for not seeing you. That was fine, it was better then what she had done to Thirteen the first time they had met. Sara had laughed her ass of at poor, blind, Thirteen for walking into a wall. The thought made her want to laugh again, but she held it in, hissing in a breath as she tried to move and her knee exploded in pain. Well it could be a lot worse she guessed... She could be stuck up here with no one..
He helped her up, and she grudgingly took his help to a box, her arm across his shoulders. She dropped down onto the box, wincing in pain as she bent her knee. God, that burned. Bad. She looked up to him as he came back with her crutches. =__= She was not happy. She was taking help from a blind kid. D< This was not a good thing for Sara!
"Here. So, what..."
Sara froze, her back straightening as the sounds of something coming up the stairs reached her ears. Oh jeez... Only Bruce coulc break through a metal door... Only Bruce WOULD do that to get at one person =_= Jerk.
As she glared at the door, the guy suddenly grabbed her, hauling her behind the box. She let out a startled cry as her knee twisted. Bloody hell D< Her crutches followed her as she rocked in pain, trying to be quiet. That orange guy had shattered her knee. She had just gone through surgery to remove the knee cap, and had it replaced with a plate. That shit hurt D< She was going to KILL orange for that one D<
As he moved away, the sound of the door busting open, Sara couldn't have spoken if she wanted to. Her eyes were squeezed closed as she sat and rocked, teeth clenched as she gently rubbed her knee. God... When this was healed? She was going to kill EVERYONE.
She listened to the conversation going on between Bruce and the blind kid.
"I didn't see anybody. Ever."
Sara paused, her hand moving over her mouth as her body suddenly rocked with laughter. Oh god. That was to funny. She shook with silent giggles as she listened. Even Bruce calling her bitch didn't bother her, she just continued to rock with silent laughter as he flew down the stairs after what Sara assumed was the rock.
As soon as Sara was sure Bruce was gone, she laugh aloud, her head dropping back, the pain in her knee forgotten. The laughs died off and the smiled remained as she shifted to get herself more comfortable. The ground was just fine to sit on at the moment. She turned the smile up to him, before she realized he couldn't see it. She chuckled again, sighing.
"Ya... I'm the bitch. Nice to meet you. And no, for what you just did, you get a pass..." Her voice suddenly turned very serious. "For today."
Ya, she was threatening him. What was he going to do about it? One move, and she would blast him off the roof. Lets hope he was smarted then that >3
"That's was great man. Nice job." She laughed again, letting him know she wasn't going to threaten him anymore... At least not for the moment. The kid had done her a favor. she couldn't have fought Bruce in her condition. He had helped her out. She appreciated that, and she would let him off today. Unless he pissed her off... "What are you doing up here anyways?"

He had heard the stifled laughing. But then again, his ears were overly sensitive. The lumbering moron had gone chancing a phantom Sara, and Connor was glad he had diverted the guys attention. Perhaps now the girl might not scream at him. Once Bruce had left, he heard who he assumed was Sara started laughing. Connor not being shy about his condition helped.
She confirmed who she was, and then... threatened him? He hoped it was in jest, but he wasn't sure. Something told him that if it wasn't for her knee, she could probably put up a really, really good fight. "No problem. Happy to help." He responded to her thanking him. When she asked what he was doing up here in the first place, he wasn't sure if he should tell her. After all, if she was somehow in league with any of the "color freaks," then admitting he was trying to come up with a way to stop the madness might get him the thrashing he was here to avoid.
Suichi's words entered his head. The same that had when he admitted to Bix he liked her. Great risks can yield great rewards, or bring great loss. Connor didn't take those words lightly. Besides, he needed the help of other students if he was going to take any action. What that action would be still had yet to be planned, but still, he needed to start somewhere.
"Avoiding, actually." He grinned. "Too much loud noise makes it very difficult for me to get around the school." His expression change,d though his tone remained open and friendly. "And thinking. I didn't attend the meeting in the auditorium, but I did hear the announcement. Whoever this Mr. Purple is seems to want to cause trouble. Something deeper than just getting the students to riot. I just don't know what it is."
He paused, gathering his thoughts. "I met Mr. Orange, too. Though he seemed friendly to me, something was... off. I may be blind, but that doesn't mean I can't see what's going on. Though ripping up a parking lot and putting in an auditorium doesn't really effect me... you know, not like I'm going to drive any time soon," he waved a hand in front of his face a few times. "But I have a feeling it goes beyond what everyone else thinks."
He sighed, feeling a little defeated. "At my last school, I at least had a voice. People listened to me. I was able to rally and make a little headway. At least before..." he rubbed his hands subconsciously at the thought of the attack. The gang leader that, quite literally, crucified him. The thought always brought back the memory of the pain. Phantom pain it was referred to. Regardless, it didn't make it any less real to him.
He stopped rubbing his hands once the pain subsided. "There was an attack, and shortly after I healed up, I moved out here. Sort of like starting over. The problem is, I have no plan, no voice, and not enough of a backing to do something if I even had a plan." The more he spoke, the more he realized he was at a total loss. "I have no information to go on. The only thing I can do is give others my help and support, and fight if I have to."
Connor hadn't fought here yet, and no one knew what he was capable of doing. The fact was, he was very formidable when it came right down to it. Right now, there was little he had to worry about. He didn't think she was going to hobble over to him and hit him. Not today, anyway.
"So, I come up here to clear my head. I hoped that I would figure things out, but I'm still where I started." He sighed again. He hoped she wasn't on the side of Orange and Purple. If she was, he was going to have to play it off and try to avoid her. But maybe, if she was on the other side, the side Connor was on, maybe things were looking up.

Sara remained quiet as he spoke, listening to what he had to say. She grinned wickedly to herself. It seemed the two of them stood on the same side of the fence on this one. Oh if only Gabriel could hear this one talk. The grin spread. This was good. She could use this. She could use him. She turned her head up to watch him as he spoke. She didn't even utter a small 'mhm' in response to him, she was so intent on hearing any hidden meanings to his words.
He seemed a little tentative as he spoke, as though he was testing the waters with her. If he only knew... She had been kidnapped, released only a short time ago. She had been trained, harshly trained, all to prepare her to bring down people like them. Sara had introduced her own personal goals into the mission they had given her, extending her goal to bringing down anything that gave off the sense of authority. At the moment, it was small. Gangs, pillars... The people interfering in her school. But in the end? Who knew. So long as she didn't have to deal with authority in her little part of the planet.
She chuckled as he finished speaking, leaning back against the box. She liked his sense of humor. People who could laugh at themselves were always great. When she spoke, her voice was light, quiet, innocent... dangerous at the same time. Where he would hide how strongly he felt about it, she would make it perfectly clear.
"I fought orange. Orange was the one who shattered my knee. Stepped on it. You missed one HELL of a meeting in the auditorium. I managed to do some pretty good damage to the purple guy. Threw a lock at the back of his head, made him bleed." Another chuckle left her, the pride obvious in her voice. She turned her head up to him. "They're dangerous. I don't appreciate what their doing. They're a threat to the students... And I'm going to stop them."
She let her statement sink in. She wondered if he was only against the purple and orange guy, or, like her, against this sort of thing in general. He seemed like a leader. She knew in schools like this, his blindness meant nothing. He could be just as strong as she was, and even better fighter, and still be blind. She hated that she couldn't test that theory out... Maybe some other time though. For now, she needed to know where he stood politically within the school.
"The gangs to... And the pillars. I intend to put an end to them." She watched him, everything he did would be an insight into how he was feeling about what she was saying. It didn't matter to her if he didn't agree. What was he going to do? Tell on her? Right. "I've already gotten a small group together. There are plans in motion to fix what needs fixing in this school." She smiled. Sara wouldn't mention it wasn't her with the plans. She was the force though. She was the one who was going to fight. She could call them hers, because they wouldn't happen with out her. "We're just looking for the right tools now."

Sara was bold, her admittance to things that had happened and revealing with pride the side she stood on. Connor relaxed, relief filling him. Her tone even held a bit of joy herself. It seemed Connor had made a decent impression on her. His chosen side was a common ground, and he listened eagerly. It seemed that She was farther ahead of him as well, already having some form of means to an end. There were plans and people, though they still needed more help.
She was against gangs, pillars and all the things Connor hated about these "systems." His expression showed exactly what he felt, which was hope. Not just that they would accomplish this, but that they might let him help in some way or form.
Once she had finished, Connor took everything in from the beginning. He even grinned at what she had done to the bastard that thought more school was a great idea. "I wish I could have been there, on both accounts. I don't know what I could have done with Orange, but I would have loved to hear that purple guy get hit." He chuckled. "Nice."
His expression slowly became serious and the softer side came out. However, there was power in his words, and in his tone. He knew what he was capable of, and he wanted to be taken seriously. He wanted to do what he could. He still considered himself a defender, regardless of being new here.
"Sara, if you're still looking for help, I'm in. We're on more of the same side that you realize. Everything you're trying to take down was what I tried at my last school. I didn't succeed then. We needed more help. But, this time... maybe here, I can do something." He faced her. "Maybe I can gain information. I pick up on things most people miss. That, and at the very least, Orange doesn't take me for a threat."
He grinned. "I met him at the construction of the auditorium the other day. He thinks I'm harmless. I guess playing the blind kid card every now and again helps. I don't know if you have anyone doing this already, but maybe I can get close enough to get some kind of information that may help. And, it may not seem it, but I can fight. I can help on that front, too."
He grinned, thinking that this time around, things might work. He realized though, they may not want him aboard, That he might not be able to pull his own weight. He hoped that wasn't true. "That is, if you guys'll have me."

Sara was very pleased with his reactions to say the least. They pleased her immensely. Seemed they would get along very well <3 She couldn't help but smile. The guy was blind, but she was sure there was something there that could help them. She really wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a really good fighter. He had a good build from what she could see, and in a place like this, you learned not to take things for granted. Look at her. 5'2", and she could hold her own against some of the best.
No, there was definitely something there. The way he spoke, and moved. He knew what he was doing despite his blindness. She took a hard look at him, eying his face as he spoke. He was so serious. He really meant what he was saying. It was obvious. And it made her happy. There were other people out there that would join them. She had been skeptical at first. But this... it gave her hope.
His words... They were so... Serious. There really wasn't another word for it. But under it, it was like he felt the same hope she did. Maybe not exactly the same, considering Sara was technically crazy at the moment, but hey, they were both feeling hope =D Close enough.
"...That is, if you guys'll have me."
She considered him seriously, all her joking thoughts aside. She needed to decide now if she wanted him in. She liked what he offered to bring to what they were planning. But if it turned out he was worthless, Gabriel would be none to happy with her. And neither would her... boss... The one who had kidnapped her. Nope. She needed to make a wise decision here.
He seemed to believe the same things she and Gabriel did. He seemed to want the same things. This could work. But... Maybe some sort of test? Sara really didn't know how to go about doing this part. Some sort of initiation? She eyed his glasses. She wondered what his eyes looked like. Thirteens were orange or something weren't they? She wondered about his. She wanted to know if that serious expression extended to his eyes. Like when people smiled and you could see it in their eyes.
She shifted, turning towards him. She would have just taken the glasses herself if she could have. As it stood? No chance. "I like what you're offering. We might have a use for you... I'm going to be honest, I would like to see you on the team. Take off the glasses. Now." Her expression didn't change as she watched him, wondering if he would do what she said. Her face was utterly serious as she looked at him quizzically. It was a test, and simply to satisfy her own curiosity. And he had better do as she said. Although... If he didn't... He had a mind of his own, which in and of itself was a good thing... She guessed she would just have to wait and see right?

There was a pause, which seemed like forever. There were many moments recently where silence seemed to draw out, make things uneasy, and make him nervous. But, he had been honest, and had nothing to hide, so he remained hopeful. After all, if she didn't want him aboard, she could always say no. He had been dealt a much harder rejection, and he managed to make it through.
It seems though, he would be accepted. She liked what he offered, and wanted him on the team. Then made an order. Something Connor was not used to, and tried to avoid at all costs. His glasses. She wanted to see his eyes? When it was said he had nothing to hide, it was referring to his emotions and intentions. Not his physical abnormalities. Those he hid as best he could.
If he took them off, and she was uneasy with his eyes, he would be turned down. But, if he refused, that could pose a worse situation. Between a rock and a hard place. That phrase finally made sense to him. What to do? Connor didn't like feeling like he had no choice, but such was the situation.
"Um... alright." The nervousness he felt was obvious in his tone. He did as he was told, and took them off. His eyes were shut, but would open soon. "Most people... their uncomfortable with the way they look. I've used it to throw an opponent off guard. I keep them hidden mostly, just to avoid having other people feel uncomfortable around me."
With the brief explanation out of the way, he opened them. They were green, and pale. Dull, without sight, but seemed to be able to see right inside of you. Piercing deep into the heart and soul. He stood there, hoping she didn't react... poorly. But, that was most people. They didn't like his eyes, and therefore, didn't like him. The only one was Bix, the only one he felt understood him at all. It was because of her that he had the courage to take his shades off at all in a non-fight situation.
He stood there, not entirely sure why she wished to see his eyes in the first place, and wondering why she had suddenly told him to remove his shades.

"Um... alright."
Sara watched as he removed his glasses. He seemed really nervous, and she couldn't help but smile at him. That was kind of cute actually. But she was excited that he was going to do it. It was a silly little request, born solely out of her own curiosity. It had been rude, and had probably put him in a really tight spot. But the Sara of today, really didn't care. She wanted to know what his eyes looked like and she really didn't care if that made him uncomfortable.
"Most people... their uncomfortable with the way they look..."
She turned her head to the side questioningly, waiting for him to open them. Well those people were idiots then. They were eyes. They couldn't be that bad. Well... Maybe Sara wasn't one to be making judgments about what might or might not make people uncomfortable, seeing as at this point... Little made her uncomfortable... Not after what she had been made to during her kidnapping...
He finally opened them and she shifted to get a better look. Her first thought was: Oh! Green!! Sara loved green. It was one of the few likings unaffected by what she had been through. They were deep though. It was strange. Almost like he could see you, the real you, without his sight. She froze, holding the unseeing gaze. It was so intense, for a moment she felt like he would know just what she had done during her... training.
It was brief, and then the moment passed. He couldn't know. Not unless she told someone. And she wasn't telling anyone. It was probably only his explanation that had made her react that way. Other then that, they were actually kinda cool. Little made Sara uncomfortable at this point. She no longer worried about the small things that used to bother her, she really didn't care about others anymore. His eyes... They didn't bother her. Nothing did really. When you've killed someone, you really stop caring at that point.
"They're... pretty..." It was really all she could say. There was something about he pale green... She wanted a shirt in that color. Her voice was what would give it away that she really wasn't bothered by them, and hopefully that would put him at ease. But enough of that.
"Well... That was completely unexceptional. On to business. I'm working with a guy named Gabriel. I think you would fit in nicely in our little... group. You seem to want the same things we do. You should search Gabriel out. Tell him Sara sent you. He's the brains behind it all... I'm the muscle... Was... the muscle." She laughed, thinking about her knee. "Soon to be again, once I'm all healed up. Know though... We're not going to be kind about this. I really hope you ok with violence." The sick smile that went with her words would have chilled him to the bone if he could see it. As it was, simply her tone would tell him how serious she was.

His eyes held their effect, at least briefly. After all, it was in a fight that he used that momentary discomfort to gain the upper hand. Occasionally, it worked throughout the whole fight, but that was a rarity. After some time of her staring at him, two words came out of her mouth that shocked him.
They're pretty.
She was the second person to ever find any sort of attraction in his eyes. He was a bit relieved that she wasn't turned away by them. That would have been bad. She told him he would fit in. Fit in... the words repeated themselves inside his head. Connor had never "fit in" anywhere. Even when he had managed to rally students together, he didn't fit in with them. He just had the ability to speak well.
She gave him the name of the one in charge of the group, even making a joke about her knee and having been the muscle. She also hoped he'd be alright with violence. "Well, after everything I learned since being here, I suppose that hoping for a peaceful solution would be foolish." He sighed. Alright with violence? If only she knew what the attack was that he brought up before.
His crucifixion had been the most horrifying thing he had ever gone through. The memory still brought him the pain as if it had happened just the other day, his hands and rib wounds held phantom pain when the memory came to him. The scars were ugly, as ugly as the whole ordeal. He had been made an example of. He wanted to be a martyr, or so the gang leader thought. So,. he treated him as one.
But, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. "I can handle that. And you don't have to worry about being the only muscle. Though, something tells me that doesn't worry you." He grinned. She was so strong, he could tell by her tone, and by the way she moved. Even with a bad knee, she pushed through. She hated that limitation, and he knew that those who stood in her way once she was healed were in for a lot of trouble.
"I won't let you down. On that, you have my word." Connor was honest to a fault, and his tone showed how dedicated and loyal he would be. Hopefully, this group would be a means to an end. Maybe with all of them, they could make a change. Connor knew it wasn't going to be easy. Not to mention he also had his own thing to deal with. But, he'd find balance.
He thought for a moment about asking how he was supposed to find Gabriel. After all, how does a blind person find anyone? But, he wouldn't ask her for help. At least, not to lead him by the hand like a child. No, he would find him on his own. But, at least a description would be helpful. Besides, if this was to test him, he wanted to pass all his own.
"As far as seeking out Gabriel... I'm not asking you to bring me to him. I'll manage to find him. But, a small description might be helpful. About how tall, his tone of voice, where he is likely to be." He grinned. "I may not be able to see, but you'd be surprised how the smallest detail will give something away." She didn't know about his "blind sight," nor was this the time to explain it. Besides, she didn't ask. If she did, he would tell her.
For now, he just waited on the bits of information he needed to find this "boss," and offer his help. He also began preparing himself for any kind of "test" this guy would have for him. Something told him this wouldn't be as easy as saying 'Sara sent me.' He doubted that the boy would just respond with. 'Oh, sure. Come one in. Happy to have you aboard.' No, there would probably be some kind of thing he had to do to prove himself. He'd cross that bridge when he got there.

"I won't let you down. On that, you have my word."
She smiled at his reply. The eye thing was done and over with. They had made it over that hurdle, now they could work together. He had complied, she had accepted. Frankly, it really didn't bother her. She wanted to know about his fighting though. If it wasn't for her knee, she would fight him, without holding back. Test him herself. But she couldn't, and now he would have to be tested by Gabriel. And Gabriel was just as good, if not stronger then she was. Poor kid. It was a relief to know he was ok with the turn things might take for the darker side. She really didn't need a fucking peace lover trying to get in. He better be able to fight to. "Glad to see we're on the same page then. Now help me up."
"I may not be able to see, but you'd be surprised how the smallest detail will give something away."
She would wait for him to take the hand she held out so that she could get off the ground. She would only sit down on the box she had been leaning against, wincing slightly at the pain in her knee as she moved, but at least she wasn't on the ground anymore. She had stressed it to much today, and she was going to pay for it, but that was fine. She had pills to take care of that. Now... How to describe Gabriel... Jeez...
"Gabriel... You'll know him... As soon as you get near him, you just feel the power off him. He's so sure of himself, so... Prideful." She smiled, thinking about it. It was one of the things she both like and hated about Gabriel. His pride matched her own, and it caused some interesting interactions and power struggles between them. "It's in his voice, the way he carries himself, the way he moves. He about 6' 2"..."
Sara continued to describe his voice, and tones. Sara had a number for him, but she wasn't about to make it that easy. She would be watching this boy. She wanted to see how he fared on finding Gabriel himself. If he needed it, she would shepherd him in the right direction. He had potential, and she wasn't about to lose him 'cuz the little blind boy couldn't find Gabriel. And she was interested to see how he handled his blindness. Sometimes, you could learn better through watching then through asking. She would get the chance for questions, now it was time to simply watch.
She finished with a serious look on her face. "Don't underestimate him. He has no sympathy, so don't go to him unless you're sure about this. He won't hesitate to put you to the test. I hope you decide to go through with this though, I wouldn't mind seeing you around." And that, she meant. The guy interested her. "We'll fight one day, yes?" She laughed, missing the feeling of adrenaline. God, she couldn't wait for her knee to heal.

He helped her up, and she started to describe the boy as best as she could, without much of a physical description, save for his height. That should be enough. She warned him, too. He would want to test Connor. That much he figured. The no mercy thing, he could handle that, too. He had already dealt with that obstacle in his last school. She seemed like she would have wanted to test him, and Connor grinned. He did always like a good spar.
She asked him to fight one day, and he nodded. "Sure. Just make sure you're all healed up." He pointed to his eyes. "No excuses. Not for my eyes, or your knee. Though, you don't seem the type to make excuses. I just want you to be in good shape when it happens." He grinned. He could feel her aura. She had power, and Connor wanted to spar with her as well. At least this member of the group might become a friend. The exchange was playful enough. She even said she wanted to see him around more. He hid the blush on his face.
"Well, I guess I'm off then. I have a few things I need to work out, then off to find Gabriel. I'd tell you I'd see you around, but..." He grinned. "We'll meet up later. Try not to get into too much trouble." He grinned again, and headed towards the stairs. He listened, then gave her a thumbs up. "The guy chasing your phantom isn't around. You should be clear."
With that, he waved and headed down.
