Reira accepted the card and examined it for a moment. It had his name and number on it. Business down to the finest detail. Taking another lick of her ice cream, she placed the card into her purse and snapped it shut. Hopefully it wouldn’t get lost in there…god knows what a women has in her purse.
“I’ll give you a call then…expect it soon,” she said, getting up out of her seat.
The ice cream parlour they were in was located near her house. It was a good walk, but Reira wanted to walk. She needed some time to think things over. It was something she learned in the past…before she used to just go with whatever, with not once thinking of the consequences. Now she knew better. Call it a precaution.
Taking a few steps, she slid her arm out and let her fingers run over his shoulder as she moved past him. Looking back she gave him a small grin.
“Ta.”
With that, she left Gabriel alone. Reira continued to walk along the side walk, mauling over what her decision would be.
