Memorbelia Forever A small thing. Was what. Their tickets. Could get them. And she smiled. She needed. Nothing large. She wanted nothing. She had to. Protect. From her parents. Knowing that. Whatever she got. Tonight would certainly. Mean the world. To her. She sighed softly. Looking over at him. He seemed thoroughly shocked. That she had been able. to hit every hundred. Perhaps she should. Have hit something else. So that. It didn't seem. So easy. Apparently. He had not seen her. Studying all. The angles. Figuring out. The trajectory. The weight. The slope. The leap. The angle of the board. The position of the 100 slot. Everything. Was all taken into considering. And then. It was plugged. Into a formula. whch gave her. The perfect angle in which. to toss the ball. At a specific speed. the only luck. Involved. Was that her speed. Was right. The first time. "Mathematics." Bix answered with a shrug. "While you played, I studied the angles, tragectory, as well as the slope. All these in a formula give you the right angle, then you need speed. The speed was luck, but with the weight of the ball and the slope it had to be somewhat substancial on it's own. Therefore, I just used knowledge." Liberty shrugged. As though. This was every day. Knowledge. It was. To someone. Like herself. That spent her time. Studying, reading, and learning. However, to him. Maybe not. Still though. It was nice. To really. Be herself. Suddenly, Pine. Grabbed her hand. And led her. To a booth. She smiled though. To think of them. In pictures together. Was something that. She could not. Get enough of. Inside the booth. The curtain. Was pulled closed. So that it was. Somewhat dark. And Pine. Pulled Liberty. Into his lap. A blush on her cheeks. As he slid their card. And the counter began. To tick the moments. Away. Suddenly, his hand loosened. And he began. To tickle her. At first. She resisted. Libery was, and could be. Very ticklish. In the right. Frame of mind. And so. Happy as she was. With this night. Her lips parted. And she began. To laugh. As he tickled her. Only stopping. When the flash. Had gone off. He shifted then. And put himself. In her lap this time. Bix laughed. As his arm. Went around. Her neck. And her arms. Went around. His waist. Leaning in. They looked at the camera. In time for the flash. Soon as it was done. His larger body. Fell of her thin boney one. Bix laughed harder. He got up quickly enough. Looking as though. He was not too hurt. And came next to her. Putting his arm. Behind her. But not around her. Looking up. She saw bunny ears. And copied. Just in time. To smile at the camera. Being stupid. And having so much fun. At the same time. It was then. She was picked back up. Into his lap. Sitting there. His chin on her shoulder. But that was. Not enough. He turned his face. And kissed her cheek. Causing her to blush. Severely. As the flash. Went off one more time. But they had one. Last picture to take. And Liberty turned. IN his arm. Looking up at him. Sitting sideways. Just slightly. Her hand reached up. And cupped his cheek. Her body moved. As quickly this time. As last time. So that hopefully. She would not. Get a picture of. Him pulling back from her. And she kissed him. Her lips. On this. Dancing gently, her heart. More into the kiss. Than the pictures. Though she knew. That the picture. Would forever. Remind her. Of this beautiful date. And this glorious moment. As the kiss broke. Sometime after. The flash had died. She smiled at him. Touching his cheek. With her fingertips. As she let her hand. Fall back. Into her lap. "I am, having a very good time tonight, thank you.. so much for tonight. I cannot remember, the last time I laughed, or smiled so much. I am in your debt." Liberty said this quietly. She hoped. It wouldn't scare him. But it was true. And she felt comfortable. Enough to tell him. She figured that. There was no reason. Why she shouldn't. Be honest. And explain to him. What was going on. And how she felt. Because she did like him. And she was comfortable with him. If it was not obvious. Before it should be. Now.

~NERD!!!!!~ The little voice shouted in Pine's head.
Neither part of Pine was going to dispute the comment. There was no way Pine would be able to mathematically figure out how to toss the ball to get it perfectly in every time. There was also no way he could watch another person play and figure out how to toss the ball for maximum effect. Pine was someone that had to learn via practice and personal trial and error. Pine had figured Liberty was smart but he had no idea she was that intelligent.
"So I guess the next time we play you go first. That way I might be able to get close enough to your score I don't feel bad for playing." Pine said with a small grin before he took her hand and led her over to the photo booth.
After Pine messed around in the first four pictures it was Liberty's turn to take the plate. Before Pine could quickly withdraw from the kiss on the cheek a pair of lips met his own. A hand cupped his face to keep him from escaping. Escape however was not part of the game plan. There was no point, he was having too much fun at the moment to really care. Pine saw the flash but held the kiss a little longer as Liberty attempted to break it off. When it did break she smiled at him and spoke.
"I am, having a very good time tonight, thank you.. so much for tonight. I cannot remember, the last time I laughed, or smiled so much. I am in your debt."
Pine burst out laughing after she said that. He gave her a squeeze and moved her off his laugh.
"You don't owe me anything." Pine began and got up pulling her out of the booth as he did so. He pulled grabbed the pictures out of the machine. "You replaced the two books I was missing and in return I took you out. We`re even...Besides, I`m also enjoying myself so it`s a win win." Pine said and looked at the pictures.
He then ripped two pictures off the strand and handed the rest to Liberty.
"I`m going to keep the one of you laughing and the one of me kissing you on the cheek. The other three are yours to keep." Pine said with a small smile and took her hand again leading Liberty to the prize stand. Pine handed the tokens to the vendor and then turned to Liberty.
"Well it`s time for you to pick your little prize."

Memories && Laughter The kiss. Was held for longer. Than she had anticipated. Not that she minded. No she adored the fact. That he wanted. To prolong the kiss. She continued. To kiss him. Not making it. One sided. But enjoying. The feel. Of his lips. Against hers. And the way. That her body. Seemed to find. A tingling sensation. About it all. And the way. That her heart raced. From the mere touch. Of his lips. As it broke. Her eyes and his met. It was then. That she confided. In him. Her words. Ringing true. He laughed. Causing her to blush. Afterall. She had not. Expected him to laugh. He lifted her. Off his lap. Causing her. To sit beside him. Looking at him. But she rose. A moment later. And followed him. Out of the booth. He told her. That she had. Given him. Replacement books. Returning something. To him that he had needed. And wanted. That this date. Was a way. To pay her back. And so they. Were now even. Her face fell. Some of the hope. Seeping out of her eyes. As she looked down. “Oh.. right..” She had thought. It was a date. Afterall. Her brothers. Had said it was. A date. And her heart. And mind. Felt it was a date. She had not thought. It was a pity date. Or a payback date. Still though. He tore the pictures. And handed her. Three of them. Saying she could. Keep those three. He was keeping these two. She nodded. Noticing he took. The laughter one. And the kiss. On the cheek one. Bix looked down. At the ones. That were in her hand. And she smiled. They would be. Forever important. To her. Her eyes. Looked up at him. And she smiled. “Okay.” He mentioned heading. To the prize area. And she nodded. Taking his hand. She carefully. Put the pictures. Into her pocket. Carefully. So that they. Would not be ruined. By her jeans. They headed. To the prize station. And turned in. The tickets. Receiving a card. With a number. Written on it. That told them. How many tickets. She had gotten. She nodded. And began. To look around. Pine and her hands. Still clasped. She didn’t. Want to let him go. Just yet. Because it was nice. To be around him. And this was a date. At least to her it was. They didn’t. Have much. And Bix. Was one. To stretch a dollar. So she moved. To the cheaper section. And looked through. All the things. There was a blue puppy. With long black eyes. That had. A patch. Over his stomach. That was clear. So you could put. A picture in it. It was stuffed. And a keychain. So she could take. A picture of them. Together. With her no matter. Where she went. Bix picked it up. With a smile. It was worth. Only a bit of. Their points. She looked around. Her hand. Holding the keychain. She wanted him. To have something. To remember this day. As well. Besides. The pictures. He found. A keychain for him. Knowing he had. To have keys. And picked it up as well. But adding the points quickly. She surmised. They had 36 left. So they moved. To the reaaaaly cheap section. She looked over all the things there. And found herself. A cheap. But cute. Blue gemmed ring. That was probably worth. Two bucks. She nodded. And looked over at him. Taking their prizes. To the counter. She cashed them in. And gave the rest of the points. Which was 12. To Pine. “Incase we come back.” Which. She hoped they would. “You keep them.” After that. The couple. Made their way. Back outside. And she looked at him. Stopping him. As she reached. Into her bag. And pulled out. The key chain. It was not girly. It was a square. On it’s side. With the Dave and Busters. Logo in the center. That was it. But it was blue. And she hoped. It would remind him. Of her. “I got this for you, so you have something you can remember it anytime.” She smiled as she handed. The keychain. To him. “Do we head home now?” she asked. Curiously. Hoping. If that were the case. She could get. A goodnight kiss.

Pine led Liberty over to the prize stand and told her to pick. Liberty went looking through the prizes and picked three little prizes, a ring, and two key chains. After cashing in the tokens for the prizes she handed the extras over to him. Pine took the tokens and nodded as she mentioned returning at a later time.
"Sounds like a plan. Next time you can show me how to do that math thing to win massive tokens." Pine said with a small grin and put his left arm around the small of her back allowing his hand to rest on her bony hip.
As soon as they left the building Liberty began to talk. She held out the small square key chain. Pine took it with his free hand and placed it in his pocket. They keys would be attached to it later, after he got back to his room and had time to reflect on the events of the past night.
"Thank you..." He said and kissed her on the cheek.
When Liberty asked about if the night was over Pine had to pull out his cell phone and check the time. It was almost 10pm which meant he had only another hour before he had to back at the home. Considering his recent excursions Pine was forced by his parole officer to adhere to a curfew of 11pm. So as much as he might want to hang out for longer, he couldn't.
"I can't really stay out much longer...So how about I walk you home, or at least to where I picked you up."

Twilight Goodbye Liberty smiled. She could not. Think. Of a better time. That she had. Not in so very long. not since. They had moved. To the new house. Not since her father. And family. Began hating her. And not since. Bix was created. Still though. It was nice. To be appreciated. He mentioned. Coming back. As though. It was something. They would actually do. Which was exactly. What she wanted. To come back. And have more fun. With him. And not another person. So when he mentioned. That next time. She would have. To show him. Her math. So that they. Could earn more tickets. She beamed. That they had plans. For the future. Meant a lot to her. It meant. There was hope yet. That they could. Go out and. Be together. And maybe. They could actually. Develop something. Much deeper. "Sure." His arm. Moved around. Her small frame. Hooking. Around her back. And holding her close. She smiled. As they left. And outside. She gave him. The keychain. Which he put. In his pocket. Fine with her. So long as he accepted it. And kept it. It was all that she could ask. Of him. When she inquired. As to if it was time. To get going. he checked his cell phone. And apologized that. It was indeed. Time to go. For he had a curfew. And so did she. But she had not. Mentioned it to him. She would be. In trouble later. But she cared not. It was all. Worth every second. She got. to spend with Pine. "Would you, walk me home then?" Bix wanted. To spend as long. As she could with him. And her home. Was not far. From the school anyway. So maybe. It wouldn't extend. HIs time any longer. She walked. With him. Towards the school. Which her home. Was past a little bit. And with his arm. Around her. She felt safe. And happy. Knowing that. A good time. Had been had. By the both of them. And not just by her. She hoped. That more things. Would happen. And in the future. Things would develop. for she wanted. To be his girlfriend. But knew right now. Was not the time. To ask. Later. When they. Knew each other. Better. "It's pretty." Bix stated. Looking up. At the stars. That washed. Through the sky. Overhead. The moon. Was half full. giving a soft glow. To everything. Down below. Bix loved the night. She did not. Have to worry. About protecting her skin. Or being burned. Or the rashes. She could. Just be herself. And with Pine. She just adored. Being around him. And knowing. That if nothing else. She had a friend. "do you like the stars Pine?" Bix asked. AS they walked. Towards her house.

"Of course." Pine replied simply to the request. He didn't mind walking her home. If she was close to the school it only meant that he had to walk at a little more of brisk pace to meet his curfew. At a leisurely pace it took Pine 35-40 minutes to get home from from school. He could easily cut that down by ten minutes if he walked at a brisk pace so as long as she wasn't more than ten minutes in the wrong direction Pine was golden. If she were any further he would have to run.
They began to walk through the streets at a pace close to that at which they arrived. They were however walking slower and enjoying each others company. Even if it was almost completely in silence. In Pine's opinion silence was key to any type of relationship be it friendship or more. Sometimes everything that needed to be said could be done so through silence.
The tranquility was broken when Liberty asked him about the stars. Pine instinctively looked up at the sky to see what few stars were bright enough to be seen through the light screen created by the city. In truth Pine had not really looked up at the sky in ages. He had no real reason to. If Pine were in his room right now he'd either be sleeping or working out. The stars meant nothing to him, they didn't bring him comfort in the detention center, they didn't stop his parents from disowning him, and they didn't make the fact he lived in a home any more tolerable. Still, they were kind of pretty.
"I haven't looked up at them in ages...To be honest I'm not really impressed." Pine began before a small smirk placed itself on his face. Pine looked down and over at Liberty before he continued.
"You're far prettier than those stars up there. I'd rather look at you then at them. Not to mention if you want to see something really impressive leave the city and head into the surrounding woods. Now when your out in the middle of no where and look up you can really see the stars..."
They continued to walk and talk a little as they reached the school. Now it was up to Liberty to lead the way.

Home && Goodbyes Bix walked. Her eyes. Looking up. She preferred night. To any other. Time of the day. She was able. To walk. Without. Having to protect. Her skin. She did not. Like to hide. At least. Not from something. She could not really. Control. Like the sun. However. It worked. With her outfits. Because it seemed. That she hid. Her skin out of. Being gothic. As most would call it. And not because. She was actually. Harmed by the sun. There was no reason. For anyone. To have to know. Such information. That could. Harm her. In a school. Like the one that. They attended. "You're far prettier than those stars up there. I'd rather look at you then at them.Bix's blush. Was deep. And she smiled. Thinking. Of those words. And exactly. What they meant to her. She had never. Really been called. Pretty. Or beautiful. Afterall. She was not. Exactly. Either. At least in. most common. Opinion. But Pine was proving. So much differently. She felt. For the first time. In her life. As though she was actually attractive. That she could. Actually catch. Someone like Pine. And perhaps. He might want. To be with her. Around her. And at some point. Date her. As much as she wished. That he would. "I have.. never been called.. pretty before.. thank you." Liberty's voice. Was a soft whisper. As she spoke this. But the blush. Refused to leave. Her face. As they walked. Nor would the smile. Fall from her lips. As they continued on. Towards home. He mentioned. That if she wished. To really see beauty. She would have. To go into the woods. At night. In the middle of no where. "Maybe we should. One day I mean. When you don't have curfew and.. I can stay out late too." Bix offered. "A trip." She had never. Really gotten. To go anywhere. With a friend. And she would like. to go somewhere. With Pine. Someone that she trusted. And someone that. She got along with. Very well. So it would be nice. To really have a chance. To go out. And have a good time. With someone. Especially him. Besides. Alone. In the woods. Perhaps she. Would be able to tell Pine. Things that she. Couldn't tell. Anyone else. The rest of the walk. Was spent. In gentle silence. Walking with their hands. HOlding one another. The thought. Of him thinking. She was pretty. Ran through her mind. Over and over again. And silence. Was nothing. That she was. Afraid of. She enjoyed it. And walking with Pine. Was very nice. They turned. From the school. Heading North. And entered. A small suburb. Somewhat close. There. The first street. On the left. Was her own. And there. In the center. Was the small. Two story house. Where she lived. Lights on. Here and there. But overall. It was quiet. Heading up. To the front door. With him. Up three steps. She smiled at him. Softly. Turning to face him. "I had.... so much fun tonight.. thank you for our date. I hope to see you again soon." Bix looked up. At him. And hoped. That he would. Give her another kiss. Before they went. Because it was. Something that. She loved. And had never. Done before. She hoped. That he could. Give her a goodnight kiss.

It seems Pine's compliment, mischevious in nature, was met with the exact reaction he expected. A deep blush and giant smile appeared on her features. Yet when she spoke it was clear something Pine hadn't intended happened. There was severe doubt that Liberty had looked as she did since she was very young. Actually Pine wondered how long Bix was allowed to exist. How long had blue hair and masked speech hit the real girl? On top of that how could she have never been called pretty?
There were always different types of people with different interests and concepts of beauty. Bix was a goth. There was no doubt that she would fit in perfectly with a group of goths or even emo kids. There must have been one person at least once who thought she was pretty. If not, then she lived quite the sad existance. Pine was not one for pitty and banished any thought he might have had of showing any toward the girl he now walked with.
"D-Don't mention it." Pine said with a slight nervous stutter. Usually if he said such a thing to his psuedo sister he would have been called a name or told off for joking around with her. Yet to Liberty this was not taken exactly as intended, it was taken in a more literal fashion. Pine would be sure the next time he guarded his words more carefully.
"Maybe we should. One day I mean. When you don't have curfew and.. I can stay out late too. A trip."
Pine looked over at Liberty and shrugged. It had been ages since he had been camping. To be fair it had been ages since he had left the city. This might prove to be quite the fun excursion. On top of that being alone in the woods with a girl generally meant other things happened as well.
"Yeah we could go camping...I just have to pass it with my parole off-..." It was about here Pine stopped talking. Generally it was never a good idea to tell a girl about your parole officer.
It was another ten minutes before they reached Liberty's house. When they reached the house Liberty told hime she had a good time and that they should do it again sometime.
"Sounds good I'll see you in school." Pine said and turned around to be on his way.
~The hell are you going?~ The shield asked.
~Home.~ Replied the sword.
~Your forgetting something.~ The shield said in an aggrivated tone.
~Oh, and what's that?~ The sword was beginning to get aggitated.
~The fucking good night kiss jackass! Holy shit son, like fuck'n get a clue. You kissed her earlier you need to kiss her goodbye.~ Snapped the shield.
"Oh..." Pine said outloud without even thinking about it. "I forgot something."
Pine did a full about face, walked up to Liberty and kissed her goodnight. "Goodnight Liberty." Pine said and took off at a light jog.
As it turned out Pine had exactly 25 minutes to cover 40 minutes worth of distance. Sadly Pine had never travelled this area during night and ended up getting lost. It was another 10 minutes before he figured out where he wa and that jog turned into a run. With a minute to spare Pine came upon his street and broke into a fierce sprint.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Was all you could hear as Pine sprinted down the street. Jen had come out to see what the yelling was about and was amazed as she saw Pine clear the five steps to the porch landing and then go sprawling through the open front door.
"You made it! Good job!" Said the home owner who decided now was a good time to go to bed.
"Your 10 seconds late." Jen said as she bent over him with a smirk on her face.
"She wanted a good night quicky and a gentleman must always oblige." Pine said returning the smirk while huffing and puffing.
"Your a pig." Said Jen as she straightened up and began to walk off.
"You know you love it...Oh and would it make you feel better if I told you I was thinking of you the entire time?" Pine was lying, he was thinking of Liberty even now. That did not mean he couldn't have a little fun with his sister.

Goodbye && Trouble The door. She was there. Waiting for him. And he had told her. That once. They were both free. They could indeed. Go camping. And have a good time. He just had to talk. To someone. And she could finish. His sentence. His parole officer. She did not. Ask any questions. For it wasn't her place. And perhaps later. He would tell her. What was going on. But for now. She let it not. Jade her opinion. Of him. For he was still. Very important. To her. As she stood there. he told her goodnight. And then he turned. Jogging down. The stairs and back. Towards the street. her heart fell. Watching his back. No goodnight kiss. Not even a hug. Not a 'hey'. I had a great time. Nothing. She felt. As though maybe. They had not connected. In the way. That she had thought. That they had. Still though. There was nothing. That she could do. If he did not. Want to make that move. Then she could not. Ask him to. Or would not. As the case. May be. Liberty turned. To the door. And pulled out her keys. Reaching her hand up. And was about. To slid them in. When he said. That he forgot something. Coming back. Up the stairs. Towards her. Leaning in. He gave her a quick. Peck to the lips. Before he left again. Liberty smiled. On cloud nine. Once more. And yet she had hoped. For more. But would take. What she could get. "Goodnight!" Liberty called. AS he ran. Into the distance. She turned. Sliding her key. Into the door. And then. Her father. Loomed over her. As he opened the door. She stepped inside. And he glanced at his watch. She knew that she was in. Deep shit now. But the happiness. Of earlier. Could not be tarnished. By even this man.
