When Seung-Ri managed to free himself from the pillar's grasp, he didn't have time to begin circling him. Responding immediately, he stepped in, catching his opponent in the midst of rising up from the ground. Both of his arms thrusted forward, shoving the pillar in the chest while he was standing up. This would throw him off balance and cause him to stumble back; nothing debilitating, but it kept the Korean on the offensive.
An increase of distance between the fighters meant that Seung-Ri wouldn't throw a kick. Not that he was going to in the first place; the original conditions in which he was going to kick his opponent had changed. He was no longer and the ground and was now standing. What was just an observation on the Korean's part became concrete when the pillar admitted to being pissed off, after which the flames from his hands and feet disappeared.
"What were you getting so worked up about?" he asked. While he had intentionally added fuel to the pillar's fire, so to speak, he did not know what ignited the flames. Perhaps it was Seung-Ri's questioning of his integrity? "And you should have kept the flames; you needed the handicap." the Korean added, quickly closing the distance between the fighters with a few rapid steps.
With his right foot leading, Seung-Ri sent out a right hook toward the left side of his opponent's jaw. His left hand remained hovering next to his face. It was not in a fist; it wasloose and relaxed, ready to grab or strike at a moment's notice.

Matrim was shoved getting up, but let it happen, and only stumbled a little. It was just something designed to slow him down a little from the feel of it. Matrim quickly gained his balance as the kid attacked.
"What were you getting so worked up about? And you should have kept the flames; you needed the handicap." The guy said, throwing a hook. Matrim caught the hook in his left hand, he would wrap his fingers around the fist and would twist it counter-clockwise from his point of view. The guy's attacks were a little too easy to see coming. And it seemed that he didn't know a strong opponent when he was facing one.
Matrim's right hand would form into a palm and the heel of the palm would be aimed into a slam, aiming to hit and hopefully break the kids forearm. After this Matrim would send the elbow of his right arm towards the kids neck, his left hand would release it's grasp on the kids fist and be made free to block any other oncoming attack. Matrim kne the kids other hand was free, but he'd be ready for it should it do something. He'd keep himself ready for anything in case he was underestimating the kid.
"Please, if I used them you wouldn't live to remember the humiliating defeat you're about to experience." Matrim was being cocky. The kid was pretty strong, but Matrim was a tough son of a bitch. He thought he could take this kid from what he had seen so far. It all just came down to how tough this kid was, something Matrim would have to find out in time.

Somehow, other fighters always seemed to be able to grab his hands in the midst of a punch; in order to do that, they'd have to keep their eyes on his fist because the movement of the hand is fairly swift. Regardless, Seung-Ri found his right fist captured by his opponent's left arm. However, his arm wouldn't just be hanging limp following the punch, so when the pillar attempted to twist it, he resisted it easily and jerked his arm back suddenly while driving his right knee into the pillar's left ribcage. If the pillar didn't release his hold, he would only get pulled forward, allowing Seung-Ri's knee to dig deeper into his body.
The impending palm strike coming from his opponent's right hand would slap nothing but air, Seung-Ri having taken his arm out of its path when he pulled it towards himself. Either that or he would strike his own arm, since it was pulled into the strike's path when he pulled his arm out of it.
If the pillar continued with his elbow strike, Seung-Ri would thrust his left palm forward and stop it before it reached its target, his strong fingers curling around the elbow and gripping onto it tightly as he pushed the pillar's elbow across his chest and toward his (the pillar's) left shoulder. In unison with this pushing motion, Seung-Ri stepped around to the side opposite to the side he was pushing his opponent's limb: his opponent's right side. He would be standing almost perpendicular to the pillar, and with his right hand free, he would smash his fist into the pillar's right ribcage, or to be more specific, his liver, which would more than likely wind him and cause a good amount of pain, especially if he managed to fracture a rib.

When the twist hadn't worked, Matrim's palm would no longer be aiming at the kid. He was smart enough to react to this kids movements. Not only that but the second the kid pulled on his arm, Matrim let go completely when he saw the kids leg rise to aim towards Matrim's rib cage. Matrim's left hand would react quickly to this, he would grab the kids leg, his attacks were simple enough to see coming. Matrim's hand would be grabbing under the knee cap, and he would push on the leg while his right hand went to work at the same time.
It had been formed into a palm to strike, but at the kids reaction Matrim had seen opportunity. While His left hand pushed Matrim's right hand would perform a palm strike, aiming the heel of his palm for the kids sternum. He was aiming to push the kid down. Matrim's own feet would be ready to act if the kid tried to pull him down with him. Matrim was a wrestler through and through, and he would need a body part to do any move he had planned. Luckily, he would have himself a leg if all went as planned.

Left undefended, his right knee crashed into the pillar's left ribcage with a dull thud. Following the knee, Seung-Ri found his right leg being grabbed by his opponent, something to which he immediately reacted. Wrestling had fine-tuned his instincts and ingrained reflexive responses into his muscle memory when it came to grappling. His right arm grabbed a hold of the pillar's left bicep and pushed the arm up while he forced the sole of his right foot toward the ground. The opposing forces would pry the arm from his leg, allowing him to return to having a solid, two-footed base, after which the ex-pillar would release his opponent's left arm.
Simultaneously as he took his leg back from the pillar, Seung-Ri's left hand reached up and grabbed a hold behind his opponent's neck, sharply pulling his head down toward his chest as he curled his arm inward. The positioning of his left arm interfered with the pillar's palm strike to his chest, causing it to clip the outside of his elbow as opposed to its intended target. The pillar's head was pulled down to make him anticipate a knee coming toward his face, but instead the transfer's right knee shot up into the pillar's left ribcage for a second time. One could only take so many hits to the body before a rib bruised or even fractured.
