[Ryuu]

(OOC: No worries mon ami.)

The minute Ryuu saw Gabriel grin slightly before he lowered his offense and his guard from the fight, Ryuu stopped circling, and straightened up, his arms now hanging loosely by his side, ready to react should anything happen, as he faced Gabriel. "Yes, I have been working hard," Ryuu replied quietly, "I've been becoming stronger with each passing moment. I've gotten better, but there is still more that I can learn and achieve." Ryuu's training with Emily had paid off a lot, but he knew that there was still a lot more work ahead of him, and he'd be ready and willing to do it. But he also knew strength wasn't everything, a fight could be won merely through strategy.

Of course, a little luck helps as well, but Ryuu didn't believe in luck, he did however, believe in hope. Ryuu wasn't quite sure as to what Gabriel was alluding to, but all the same, he nodded in acknowledgment at him. "When that time comes, I will be much stronger than before, and I'll be ready for whatever comes my way." Ryuu may not trust Gabriel like he did before, but today, there was nothing to be held against Gabriel, he did not attack Ryuu unexpectedly, this spar was agreed upon by the both of them. Anything and everything that could or did happen, wouldn't be held against either of them. What are you alluding to Gabriel? And why do I have a bad feeling about it...?

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel nodded lightly. He needed Ryuu or someone of equal skill for this job he had in mind. Trizen would do fine in his place but since his entry into the hospital Gabriel was worried about the boy's strength and will to go on. The spar here was a testament to Gabriel's motives He wanted to see just how much Ryuu had improved over their separation and apparently it had all been paying off for him. Though no one could know the whole answer to his plans in the end it had to be only him. Alone against the world he knew it and welcomed the pain to seep inside of him. He would have to destroy everything in order to recreate it. Better this time around.

"Will you pardon me speaking boldly for a moment?" Gabriel questioned whiles he paced about the room light toed making little noise to his movements.

Gabriel's figure grew perfectly tall. A hand drifted up to his chin in an inquisitive fashion sculpting the contours of his chin. He was deep in thought but still so very clear headed everything seemed all right. This needed to pay off if not his plan would have to drastically change in order to stay alive.

[Ryuu]

"Speak then, mon ami." Ryuu replied lightly, as he watched Gabriel pace around, his footsteps light, making no sound, as the crowd that had been surrounding them had dissipated the minute the fight came to a close. Ryuu continued to wonder just what it was Gabriel had in mind, and what it was he was alluding to. He saw Gabriel's figure grew perfectly tall, Gabriel towered over Ryuu slightly, as a hand drifted up to his chin in what looked like an inquisitive manner, making him seem deep in thought. Ryuu folded his arms across his chest, as he frowned slightly, wondering what was running through that head of his, and more importantly, what did it have to do with Ryuu, if it indeed did have something to do with him.

"What is it you are thinking of Gabe?" Ryuu asked, his voice quiet but calm, loud enough that Gabriel could hear him, but only Gabriel. No one else could, and considering how loud the gym was right now, that helped the situation, as he watched Gabriel continue to pace around. And what does this have anything to do with me? Just what exactly is it he's thinking about right now...?

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel stopped pacing and his vision rose up to meet Ryuu's eyes directly for the first instant. Now was not the time to show disgrace or sorrow it was to show strength and bold valor. His manner grew serious and less playful and childish. Gabriel grew into a man in the short time standing there. Bold chest breathing upward shoulders locking out dominantly.

"We need to spark Militia once more..." He said straight forward.

Ryuu was never around at the greatness of what militia once was and he probably had little idea of what the main priorities were so it would be hard to call to him upon those morals but Gabriel would gamble that Emily had shared with him enough of her side of the tale. Of Unfettered.

"There was a time much like now, chaos, troubles, mischief. That was why Militia was formed for the sake of the people." Gabriel enunciated proudly as if giving a speech.

"Militia was opposed to the pillars because they sought their meager goals of containment rather than total peace, it is impossible for peace to be dominated by the few but as a collective of many it is by far a more realistic goal do you see?"

Gabriel walked closer in an unthreatening fashion, much like compatriots of the same struggle.

"I need your help, I need Emily's help to bring about a republic of the people to give each of us strength, to give the people of this school a hope at peace."

Gabriel's eyes grew somber and frail.

"Please, don't just stand by and watch this go on, there is so much to be done."

[Ryuu]

The moment Ryuu saw Gabriel cease his pacing, his gaze rising up to meet Ryuu's, Ryuu fixed his gaze directly on him. Gabriel's expression became more serious, no longer playful and childish, it was time for serious business, his chest pointing upward, his shoulders locking out in a dominant position, as he began to speak. Ryuu stayed silent, listening to the words Gabriel spoke, about Militia, about why it was formed, and what it opposed. The Pillars. Ryuu watched Gabriel walk closer non threateningly, much like fellow comrades in the same struggle, fighting for the same thing, as Gabriel asked Ryuu for his help, for Emily's help, to give the people of the school not just strength, but hope for peace. Ryuu's expression stayed the same, as Gabriel's eyes turned somber and frail.

"Please, don't just stand by and watch this go on, there is so much to be done." Ryuu took a moment, pausing, before speaking. "You and I both know there are other ways to bring about peace, not just the ways you spoke of." Ryuu replied back quietly. "Violence begets only more violence, as evident by the events that occurred recently. The Pillars cannot be everywhere to quell every fight that occurs, you and I both know that. But who are we to judge them, when much of the fighting that starts, begins with us, the students? You say you want peace, yet how can peace occur, if the students themselves, do not wish to stop fighting? As it stands, the Pillars seem to be doing the best and all they can, considering they have been reduced to a trio as of late." Ryuu folded his arms across his chest, watching Gabriel with a look of mild curiosity, wondering how he would react to the words that he had spoken."Nothing good will come out of opposing the Pillars with violence. Mass chaos may possibly occur, and students, the very ones you want to help, will get injured."

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel was passionate now. A fire in his gut burned intently, his message had to be gotten across.

"There is already chaos! There is already violence! It is human nature to be that which we hate most, but it is necessary to destroy in order to create." Gabriel said in a fiery voice driven by purity, he honestly believed it was necessary. The same pain, the same hurt would happen over and over till the end of time unless there were people willing to stand and Gabriel would yield to sit till he sought that change out.

"Neutrality is simply another form of appeasement. You cannot hide away from change forever, we can find a way to end this peacefully I promise you I have a way but it will require a bit of distraction from the ends of others... Please I need you to trust me I've found a way."

[Ryuu]

Ryuu continued to stay cool and calm, despite the fiery passion he could detect and sense within Gabriel's voice. "Is it truly necessary to destroy in other to create...?" Ryuu asked in a soft voice, his arms still folded across his chest. "Is there not a way to change what is already here, in order to create something anew?" Ryuu too wanted change, he wanted to finish his senior year and graduate peacefully, but he also wanted to do so non-violently. He hated unnecessary violence, and tried his best to avoid it as much as he could, unless he truly had no choice but to fight.

"Do not misunderstand my words. I want peace and change as much as you do, but I want to achieve it with as little bloodshed as possible. I do trust you Gabe, not as much as before, but I still trust you nonetheless. Please understand that my trust in you has waned because of what Reven did to me, of what he did to Emily. I cannot simply pick my trust up and forget about what was inflicted onto me. I cannot guarantee that Emily will help you, for not even I know the answer to that. There will always be a means to the end, and I simply will not act out in violence to achieve something, I always believe there is another way to achieve what we want."

Ryuu turned and began to walk towards the lockers. "There is always another way Gabe. There are multiple paths that lead to the one single goal, you simply need to find them."

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel flinched at the thought of Emily's scars and then an image of Ryuu's scar in his head. They were to be permanent reminders of his weakness. Now he had the chance to change things. To redeem himself And now the very problem he'd caused was now coming back to haunt him. Ryuu and Emily, great friends and allies in the effort to promote peace but now when the opportunity had arisen they shirked away from the responsibility. It anger Gabriel he needed to fire these changes into full swing lest everything come tumbling down.

"There is another way, but it will require some hardships." Gabriel said with his last bit of rage.

"It will require violence but it will not be quite as bad as the alternative, I need someone to cause a riot on school grounds..." He proclaimed in an oddly calm voice.

Gabriel knew it sounded odd but for some reason he could see in the end things would come to pass. Things would change.

[Ryuu]

The scar. A permanent reminder to Ryuu of the attack he had suffered at the hands of Reven, it would not be so easily forgotten. "There will always be hardships, nothing in life is easy, that much is true..." Ryuu said quietly, noting the bit of rage within Gabriel's voice, "Then if there is no other alternative, one that does not go down the path of violence, then I will travel down the road that has the least amount of violence possible..." Ryuu sighed, it seemed no matter how hard he tried, violence would always be inevitable. It could never be avoided completely, there would always be violence, no matter how small the amount is.

His eyes flashed in mild surprise before returning back to calm at Gabriel's mentioning of someone starting a riot, although it indeed sounded odd, as long as some of the students did not go full-on berserk, it seemed to constitute the least amount of bloodshed possible, though there would be bloodshed nonetheless. Ryuu wanted change, but if the changes required violence, he wanted to go about it with the least amount of violence involved."And what is the alternative? Just to appease my own curiosity." Ryuu asked, his voice still cool and calm as ever. "And does this riot and alternative involve the trio known as the Pillars?"

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel shuddered lightly. He was trying to remain calm, he needed as much. Gabriel took in a short breath it was deep however short lived it was. He needed to get Ryuu on his side here otherwise he'd have a bit of difficulty down the road, but he was afraid if he let the boy close in the end he'd only end up hurting himself. There'd be no end to the suffering Gabriel had to take it all himself and no others.

"I can't tell you... Though I can assure you anything around this scheme will merely end in more violence. I know my promises at this point are nothing but broken lifeless shells but I can give you one assured bit of evidence I hope you can be left with..."

Gabriel sat and pondered for a moment, he needed to trust Ryuu just enough to give him the chance to prove himself but what test would add up to it. With someone so self righteous it would cause trouble to his plans in the end. If only he knew, if only he could understand the severity behind his methods however cruel and unintended they would turn out to be.

"I can just say that I will need to destroy before I can create, this battle will happen regardless of our choices, the only thing we have to decide is which path we can choose." Gabriel faced him again, eyes full and true.

"I'm not going to lie, it won't end peacefully but I can assure you is that when the clouds fade there will be a brighter tomorrow..."

[Ryuu]

"Fine, you can't tell me. That's the least of my worries," Ryuu replied, his arms still folded across his chest, "Yes, you're promises are what you say, and show me. Show what this one bit of evidence you have is." Ryuu frankly, still did not trust Gabriel, for what it was worth. After what had happened, Ryuu had more trust in Emily than anyone else. He wondered though, how much trust she had in him. Probably much more than in Gabriel, no doubt about that. Ryuu was not trying to be self-righteous, he just wanted to go down the path of least violence as possible, that was all. Ryuu may never fully understand Gabriel's methods, or the severity and cruelty behind them. He could try, but there will always be this large chasm between the two of them.

"And I told you my answer already," Ryuu replied, staring straight at Gabriel, who's eyes were full and true, "I choose the path that constitutes the least amount of violence and bloodshed. You say you need to destroy in order to create, and while that is one path, there are many more out there. But does the end result justify the means taken to reach it? I leave you to decide that." Ryuu then walked past Gabriel, heading towards the lockers. "I won't lie, this world is full of violence no matter where you turn or go. I've seen my share of violence, maybe more than a lot of the native students at 42. But if peace can be obtained, then I will do what I must to get it. You'll know where to find me."

[Gabriel Seran]

Gabriel's hand shot out into a secured grip at Ryuu's arm. It was a nonviolent move though it could be misinterpreted as such concerning his glazed over gaze. His lip moved to speak but he took his time to choose the words that would hit deepest. A deep sigh and then he revealed all that would need to be heard.

"I need to destroy the pillars, not for vengeance nor power." Gabriel was never after such weak things he wanted his reign or at least his memory to last, as a creator. "I need to be rid of them so that I may create something that means so much more."

Gabriel's eyes finally locked this time with a deeper intensity than he had ever intended to. Something truthful waited deep behind those eyes. It was driven with purpose and clear intent he wasn't lying, he truly believed in his heart this was right.

"I'm done with this violence, but I'm going to push this one last time for peace..." His eyes shimmered pleadingly, "Ryuu I need people to believe in this, not me but the thing I stand for."

[Ryuu]

Stopping in his tracks, Ryuu slowly turned his head, a look of mild interest on his face, to look down at Gabriel's hand, securely gripping Ryuu's arm, before looking back up at Gabriel, who had a glazed over look on his face, as a momentarily memory of the attack Reven had inflicted on Ryuu before flashed through his mind, making him fear that he would be once more attacked. He saw Gabriel move his lips to speak, but no words came out, Ryuu then heard him sigh deeply, as Gabriel told him of his plan, of what he planned to do, to destroy the Pillars. Ryuu's eyes revealed no emotion in them upon learning this, that he needed to get rid of them so he could create something that would mean so much more. Ryuu's eyes locked with Gabriel's own, as he saw the deep intensity that burned within them. Something truthful, something driven with purpose and clear intent, that showed he wasn't lying, something he believed to be right.

"I too wish for the spiral of violence to end," Ryuu replied calmly, "But trust cannot so simply be regained so quickly, even you realize this. Believe me Gabriel, I still think of you as a comrade. But the day Reven attacked me, was the day my trust in you depleted to a low level." Ryuu looked at Gabriel with sad eyes, as he gently made to shift his arm out of Gabriel's grip. "I am not saying I don't trust you anymore, I am saying it will be hard for me to trust you like I did before." Gabriel had yet to regain Ryuu's full trust at the moment. Taking his stuff from the locker, Ryuu began to head out of the gym. "You'll know where to find me." He repeated once more, as he pulled his overcoat on before walking out of the gym. He had neither accepted nor denied the alliance Gabriel wanted from him, but either way, Ryuu had found out a crucial piece of Gabriel's plan. He then headed towards the subway, pulling his iPhone out as he descended the stairs, and scrolling through his address book, stopped at one of the names before calling, as he held his iPhone to his ear as he boarded the subway.

"...It's time."
