Already had a riot? this was strange, he'd never met seen or heard of purple or orange, but then again, he hadn't been here that long either. "what a drag seems to put it pretty lightly" Victor said, his characteristic grin warping into a strange thoughtful smirk, not exactly sad, but it certainly wasn't happy.
then he realized something he'd never heard before.
"sorry, I know this is probably gonna sound stupid, but whats a QI?" he asked. He knew what telekenisis was, but that other word threw him off.

"I'm not exactly clear on the subject," Sam admitted. She'd only discovered their existence recently herself, and had been even more shocked to find out that she had one. But she didn't know exactly what it was. But she didn't really know any of the basics about it, to be perfectly honest.
"No one ever really explained it to me, but it's something to do with the flow of energy or something in the body... I'm not really sure." She looked to Ryuu. "Maybe you can shed some light on it for the both of us?" MAybe he'd be able to give her a lesson on it as well as Victor.

"You have no idea..." Ryuu muttered quietly, as he saw "Break's" characteristic grin change into a strangely thoughtful smirk, neither sad nor happy. "It does have something to do with the body, but it's a different kind of energy." Ryuu replied when "Break" asked what a Qi was, and Sam told them she wasn't clear on it either, since no one ever really explained it to her. "Maybe you can shed some light on it for the both of us?" "I'd be glad to, but instead of simply telling you about, how about I show you?" Ryuu answered, as he popped the last bit of his lunch in his mouth, and finished his soda off, before pushing his chair back and grabbed his bag. "Follow me." He said simply, as he led the way out of the cafe. He then walked down the sidewalk, heading towards Golden Gate Park. Once he reached it, he would stop at a good place to show them, possibly even spar, and turned around to face "Break" and Sam.
"Qi. It is a spiritual force that flows inside each and every one of us, and is confined within ourself. Everyone has a Qi, but most have yet to realize and discover theirs. That would mean that you, "Break," haven't discovered yours yet, and Sam, I would assume that means you already discovered yours. I don't know what your Qi is Sam, but if you want to see mine, you'll have to make me bring it out. Both of you, if you want to see what my Qi is, you'll have to spar against me, to make me even consider using it." Ryuu would then go into his normal stance, his legs spread apart shoulder-length, his hands held in front of him loosely. "You don't have to fight if you don't want to, but this is a good way to determine just how capable you are of using your Qi, as well as finding out more about it, or even increase your fighting abilities, even if you don't have a Qi yet."

Break followed ryuu as his chair squeaked up and their soft foot steps padding on the slightly grimy cafe floor led them out into the street. a tiny gust of wind, the sounds of the speeding cars, a lofty little idea for a song popped in break's head, save that one for later of course. Eventually they where at a park, and ryuu was explaining about the ever mysterious QI. Break smiled to discover everyone has one, he could only imagine what his was. Then Ryuu dropped down into a stance, offering to show them his QI.
"really...? both of us against you?" Break looked him up and down, he had been wrong before about the often lanky students, but break was definately stronger than this guy, but who knows what he held up his sleeves, especially if this QI was all it was cracked up to be. "alright, I've always loved a good spar." he said, pulling his fists up in the trained way of a boxer. he looked to sam with a smirk, "I dunno know about you, but I'm curious... I wanna see what this is all about" he laughed

Sam watched Ryuu curiously as he stood up, wondering what he was up to. She quickly packed up the rest of her things, and followed him to Golden Gate Park. Ryuu turned to her and "Break," explaining exactly what a Qi was. He turned to her, and she nodded. She'd discovered her Qi, but she hadn't really gotten a chance to put it to any kind of use.
But it looked like she might be getting an opportunity right now. Ryuu challenged the two of them to a spar. She wanted to see what the boy's Qi was, and she could always use fighting experience. She looked at Break and back at Ryuu. Was he serious about a two-on-one? She grinned. "Agreed. Let's see what this punk's got." She said it playfully, but she spread her feet, lifting her hands up to her face in a defensive stance, mentally and physically preparing herself for any sudden moves either boy would make.

"Why not?" Ryuu replied, smirking slightly, "I always like a good challenge, and nothing is more challenging than fighting against two people, especially when one has a Qi." Ryuu saw Victor look him up and down, before being convinced and placed his fists up like a trained boxer, looking at Sam with a smirk, telling her he was curious and wanted to see what this was all about. "Agreed. Let's see what this punk's got." "Damn right I'm a punk," Ryuu replied back teasingly, as he saw Sam go into a defensive stance, "Always have been, always will be." Ryuu then became serious, since he was fighting against two people, he'd have to keep even more of an eye out for anything that could happen.
Ryuu began to focus while regulating his breaths, his eyes closed, before they snapped open instantly, and Ryuu ran at Sam and "Break," controlling his speed which would allow him to stop or change directions at a whim or if needed. He clapped his hands together as he ran, preparing his Qi, but not planning to use it right away. They'd have to work to make him reveal it to them. Pulling his right arm back, Ryuu would launch a right jab at Sam, the speed of his jab controlled, if he needed to change directions on a dime, while keeping an eye on Victor, as he kept his left arm close by, in case he needed to defend or counterattack. They wanted to learn about Qi, well they were going to learn about it the hard way.

Ryuu ran at them, Break could tell he wasn't going as fast as he could, he was controlled, concentrated, he was taking this seriously, hwich made Break smile. He looked to sam for a moment, curious of what she could do to, he suddenly felt a small twinge in his gut as he realized the handi-cap he had in not having one of these 'QIs'. He cracked his neck, the first attack was at Sam, a right jab, once again break could tell this wasn't his fastest, he must be holding back for some reason, Break began to think about it before running around behind ryuu, using the ancient tactic of scissoring and opponent, one ally behind and in front of the enemy to crush him from both sides. Break attacked high, a kick that sailed through the air, showing an impressive amount of flexibility from one of his size, with ryuu already punching at sam the hit would easily land right into the small of his back.

Sam saw Ryuu coming for her, but he wasn't moving at top speed, and she was prepared for the simple punch he threw at her. She put her arm up, using her forearm to deflect the blow, and was bringing up her right for a quick punch to Ryuu's stomach when she saw Break running up behind him. Punching Ryuu would probably make him double over, and likely send Break's foot right into her face, so at the last second she aimed her fist farther up, toward Ryuu's chest. She wanted to activate her Qi, but there wasn't time yet. Merda.
Ryuu was stronger than she'd anticipated, and while she was new to her Qi, it could be at least of some use to her here; making her that much stronger could help just that little bit. But it had to be well-timed. One of the side affects of her Qi manifested itself in a rather physical way, and if she could get the element of surprise on her side, she might be able to gain an edge on him.

His punch blocked by Sam's arm, as he expected, he saw her aim a right punch at his chest, as he pulled his right arm back immediately and brought it up, catching Sam's punch, albeit barely in time though, as his arm was sent towards him slightly, but her punch didn't hurt that him that much. He then saw, from the corner of his eye, Victor come charging at him from behind, aiming to kick him in the back, so to counter this, Ryuu whipped his left arm out out in a defensive position, moving his body with his sudden movement, as his hand grabbed Victor's foot, as he now stood sideways, both his arms had caught strikes from the two.
From there, he would proceeded to shove both his arms outwards, straightening them out, and hopefully, send both Sam and Victor falling backwards, and given that Victor was balanced on only one leg, he probably would be sent falling backwards. Sam on the other hand, probably not, though he could try to shove her backwards. From there, he would surge forward, before twisting his body, doing a 360, so that he was now facing the both of them, bringing his hands out in front, as he watched for movements from the duo, especially from Sam, who had a Qi, he just didn't know what yet. They would probably have to end up working in tandem, if they wanted to beat him, but Ryuu wasn't going to let them win this fight, not without putting up a fight.

Break was thrown back, amazed that ryuu could catch the full momentum of his kick with one hand. seemed like something out of an action movie. He felt the pressure as his foot was thrown, he stumbled and began to fall. Using his hand to catch himself he picked himself right back up to seeryuu had spaced himself away from them, standing them in a triangle with he and sam facing ryuu.
He looked at Sam, knowing that the two of them would need to work together to beat this fighter. he nodded to her, he would begin running in for an attack as soon as she did. 8 limbs where harder to block than 4.
