[M.E.] Who Are You Again? (Ryan/ Open)

"Told you so."

Ryan turned his head towards the announcer as a large cake was rolled out. He couldn't help but smile at this. This was his one true contribution to this, besides being there =D!

He turned back to Kate and held out his hand, a large, goofy smile on his face. He was actually really excited about this part. He knew what Kate liked, and he knew she would like this cake. He might be unsure about everything else, but he knew, just KNEW, she would like this.

The cake he had chosen, was simple, but elegant, and beautiful. Just like Kate.



If she took his hand he would lead her over to the cake. Once there he would watch her for her reaction, eager to see what she thought.

A person from the crowd stepped forward holding a knife out to the two of them. He would take the knife with his free hand and wait for her to place her hand over his, cutting the cake together.

He held out his hand and she simply reached out to take it. Her grasp wasn't too soft or too firm, just somewhere in between. Kate wasn't about to use her strength on this boy; no that was saved for other people that deserved to be crushed. Ryan had done nothing to merit that behavior!

She took one look at the cake, and had to admit that it was something she would have picked out herself. Who the hell had gotten the cake? They must have known her better than she thought she let on. Or maybe someone else just had damn good taste, much like herself! Kate smiled just a touch, and when Ryan waited for her to cut the cake with him, she didn't hesitate.

Together they cut the cake, and pulled out the slice they would share as "Man" and "Wife". The cake was white chocolate with raspberry filling, which also struck Kate as odd. It was the perfect combo that she personally had wanted for her own wedding cake. It was almost... creepy? She held the piece of cake up to his lips, still smiling.

Ryan looked down at the bite Kate held out for him. This... Was the happiest moment of his life...

Almost to much happiness...

He felt the slight dizziness behind his eyes, his vision swimming. He closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath, hoping it would pass.

He opened his eyes and smiled at Kate, hoping she hadn't taken that as a hesitation, and bit into the cake. Laughing softly as he pulled away, he did the same for her, holding out the piece for her to bite from.

This simple act made it far more real for him, the hope that this was real welling up inside him, fusing with his intense feelings for her.

As she would come forward to bite into the piece he held for her, seeing her beautiful face as she opened her mouth to bite...

He would faint... "

His vision swam for only a second before everything went black.

BUT

He would faint with a smile on his face, and a look of love <3 He would fall back, away from her, thankfully, and her pretty dress wouldn't be ruined.
