She threw her hand out, it was such a nice gift, all that momentum and a limb to grab onto. Matrim's left hand would grab the outstretched limb at the wrist, and as he turned around to face away from Elmira he would pull on the limb, his right hand would grab her outstretched arm as he pulled her forward attempting to hoist her up over his shoulder in a Judo throw of sorts. If it succeeded it would most likelt put Elmira flat on her back, and Matrim would try to retain control of that hand.
If he did he would take his right hand which had previously been used to hold her at the arm and he would grab one of her index finger and pull back on it. "You're attacks.... they lack planning. What were you going for just now?" He asked, rather curious. The fact was he expected more from the girl, but when she proved to be rather typical he became disappointed.
Crap, she's not a good fighter is she.... I should have gauged her strenght.... oh well I can do that later. At least her speed is good. I really wish I could test out her strength though.

Elmira felt herself being thrown to the ground, after making an interesting trip over Matrim's shoulder. Oh yeah, opponents were supposed to fight back. Oopsies. She almost forgot that he would have some sort of response, seeing as he let himself open in the beginning like he was saying, 'C'mon, try and take me down.' Luckily, she was able to catch herself on her back hands and feet, so her spine didn't actually hit the ground, but her body was fairly laid out, only slightly elevated. By gaining control of her positioning, she was able to angle herself in a way that he would not be able to grab onto her hand again, unless he quickly leaned down and grabbed it, though she would probably see that coming from a distance.
"Awww... I thought we were just having fun," she retorted in a playful whine. "I was going to play with your hair AND fight you at the same time. Win win for me." She grinned, pushing off from the ground and leaping onto the balls of her feet. "Oh well. Guess I gotta work on that 'planning' thing you were talking about." As she landed, her body crouched down slightly, her knees bent, and swung her arm forward toward the ground at a slanted angle. While she did so, spinning and gaining torque from the original movement, she pivoted her right foot toward Matrim, creating an attack in capoeira known as rabo do arria. With this, she could enter into an evasive maneuver for future counter attacks while also delivering a powerful spinning kick, assuming it landed. This was a very difficult move to perform quickly, which would be its main downside, yet if it managed to be successful, she could definitely be at an advantage for the next few moments.

The real fun part of fighting a bunch of martial artists in Matrim's experience was how much unnecessary stuff went into it. Were there cool flips and tricks? Yes there were, but in the end nothing could beat the basics, and a spinning kick was overkill, especially when all it took was somebody skilled at blocking attacks or dodging them to turn them against a user. For instance, Matrim would catch the kick at the ankle with one hand, his other hand would press at the bottom of her shoe and he would simply shove against that leg to knock her off balance.
The girl could move, but Matrim could see through a lot of her movements for some reason, and he could definitely beat her on the speed factor. So he had no reason to attack her right off the bat. But he was getting board, "You might want to stick to the basics girly, all that spinning is going to make you dizzy."
If she wasn't thrown off balance, or once she got up after being thrown off balance Matrim would charge, he would do something very basic, but he would put strength and speed into his attack. His right fist would tighten, and it would be thrown into a hook aimed for her chin. He would follow through the motion spinning counter clockwise he would drop down extreme low and shoot his left foot out, sweeping it across to hopefully after the punch, bring her to the ground once again.
In essence he thought that it showed a lot of restraint on his part getting her to the ground again and again but not grappling. Something about getting close to a girl on the ground would probably tempt him, and with his withdrawal symptoms from that drug he took back at 259, he was aching for anything that would release adrenaline or endorphins.

Obviously Matrim was not impressed by Elmira's rabo do arria. It was difficult to pull off, and would certainly not be successful when the opponent grabbed her foot and pushed her off balance. There was something cocky about the way he spoke and acted; maybe it was just because she was more of a novice to sparring than he was, but he acted like he was superior in battle. Well, so far, it proved to be true, yet she didn't see why it had to be rubbed in her face.
"Basics?" she repeated, stumbling back a bit until she could find her center of gravity again. "Wouldn't that be way too expected?" She couldn't talk for long, as she was soon punched in the chin and down on the ground from his extended leg.
"Ugh," she groaned. "That's not 'basics.' That's just mean." If he wanted simplicity, however, she could give it a shot. After all, there wasn't much she could do particularly quickly after falling down like that, so she leaned over and snapped her arms out in an attempt to grab his ankles, which would be a weak point to bring him down with her and possibly suffer in the same manner she had.

Having dropped down to perform the sweep made it easier on Matrim when she pulled on his ankles. His feet slid out from under him but his hands quickly went back and placed down on the ground. If she wanted his feet, she would get them. Matrim would kick his legs out, full extending them to try and hit her. Sadly he wouldn't be able to with all of his force since he was sliding his feet at her rather then kicking full on. Still, enough strength was in it to hurt her. If she let go of his legs he would work momentum by bringing his knees up and flipping up into a standing position, squatting down.
"Things get mean when you start hitting," Matrim said winking over at the girl, "The trick is to just take nothing personally. It's all just fun and games....."
Until somebody gets hurt....

This was getting trickier each moment. As his legs extended when she tried to grab them, she released his feet, seeing no reason to twist her arm from the movement, though it cost her a blow to the head. Ouch.
"Damn, you're beating the crap outta me," she murmured, standing herself up gently and rubbing her head. Good thing she didn't have too many brain cells to kill. "I think it's more fun and games on your end." There wasn't a lot she would be able to do that he wouldn't be able to block, gauging his skill from what she had done so far, and worse yet, he'd probably have a counter that would make her own attacks be used against her. That meant that she had to go fairly easy, or it would somehow have the same impact that she was aiming on him.
She shook her shoulders out, then lifted her arms as if to guard her face and body. Her right hand flattened straight out, and she leaned herself into a chopping motion as she attempted to make a dent in the center of his chest, where many people (though perhaps not Matrim) were vulnerable.

And then the girl was doing some sort of Karate technique, hitting Matrim directly in the chest. He puffed his chest out at it, absorbing the hit and while it stung, it wasn't anything he couldn't get past. She was definitely pretty strong, but he could take a hit pretty well. And rather than use this move against her, he just struck out.
Elmira, now with Karate Chop Action!!!!
While it seemed kinda cheap and mean, Matrim never underestimated the impact of a good sock to the nose, so he threw his right fist forward straight for the girls nose, putting some follow through and momentum into it to try and break the girls nose. Sure, it was a little mean considering girls often cared about their face and looks and could be a little self conscious, but Matrim didn't think of all girls like this.
After that Matrim would simply wait to see how she reacted, he had a feeling that he'd do best to go a little easier on her and just react a bit more to her hits. He didn't want to seriously injure the girl after all... well aside from the attempt to break her nose.

Alright, so the karate chop failed. Matrim didn't seem to care that his chest had been smacked by the side of Elmira's hand. Not that she expected heart problems or something. His defense was just so high that no matter what she did, she would barely create an impact.
There wasn't much time to stand around and think of a plan to actually do damage, though, as his fist was headed straight toward her. Her face! Oh hell naw! She brought up her hands to protect her beloved nose, as if they could catch Matrim's speeding balled up knuckles. Well, they prevented some damaged to the middle of her face, but damn, did her hands hurt.
"Owww! Shit, were you really trying to break my nose?!" She was a little ticked, both because he wanted to ruin her pretty mug, and because her palms stung like a bitch now, so she responded by trying to kick him in the shin.

She kicked him in the shin and he laughed as he hopped back picking it up and rubbing it with his hand. It hurt but it wasn't a developed attack in delivery sense, it was more of a reactive type kick. Matrim was pretty tough and while it hurt he couldn't take her seriously now. "Are you serious?" He asked as he put his foot down, "Would you like a break?" He asked in a baby voice.
"I guess you could call 'time-out'." He said and then started to walk away, "This is boring, call it a draw. If it continues I'm sure you'll break a nail anyway," He called out, leaving the scene, "I'll see you around school."
(OOC: Decided to end this thread since it's been so long. I'm sure you don't mind a draw all things considered.)

[OOC: Heh, I was going to let you have the win, actually, but Ellie won't mind calling it a draw. ^^;]
Elmira snorted, watching her opponent walk away. "Geez, it wasn't even supposed to be a one on one fight in the first place," she muttered under her breath. "How am I supposed to beat one of those buff crazy pillars anyway? I can kick ass, but not his."
She shrugged as she made her way back to her ten-gear. Whatever, she thought, deciding not to talk aloud, seeing as she didn't actually have an audience to speak to, now that Matrim left. He had provided some entertainment for awhile, at least on her end. Apparently he wasn't amused, calling the fight boring. Puh-lease. He was just trying to look cool. And yeah, she didn't want to break a nail. She liked to keep her nails in good condition. Why did he have a problem with that?
Back to bike riding.
[Exit Elmira.]
