It was early, most of the students that attend Point Hope High were not at the school yet. Steven was here way early though, the buses were not due to arrive for another twenty minutes at least. Most people would be shocked to see a student here this early, unless they were causing trouble. Though he had a legitimate excuse. His computer at home died, which meant that he had to finish his paper at school. And since it was due in first period his only choice was to show up early and finish it up. Thankfully he had most of it backed up on his flash drive, he would have been pissed if he had to start over.
Leaning back the green haired student stretched in the wooden library chair. A loud yawn escaping his mouth before he quickly covered his mouth, looking over his shoulder to make sure the Librarian wasn't glaring at him or something. She was a stickler for people being quiet. Last thing he wanted was for her to sneak up behind him and slap him over the knuckles with her yard stick.
It took him a good ten minutes to finish up his paper, but before long he was standing by the printer waiting for it to print his paper, watching as the paper slowly inched out of the printer.
"Bleh I wish they would upgrade the equipment." He said to himself quietly with a frown. Still, he was done and the buses were not even here yet. Though the halls were starting to fill up with students since a fair amount of them drove. Stapling his paper together and shoving it in to his binder he then walked out in to the hallway, bumping in to a student as he made his way in to the locker. His binder falling from his arms and landing on the ground with a loud thud.
"Fucking hell." He swore as he bent down to pick it up, ignoring the kid who walked in to him, or who he walked in to. Such small details were hardly worth noting.

Long day, too early to be picking fights at the moment but everything could be changed at a moment's notice. Gabriel walked down the halls slowly, inconsiderate and uncaring off what problems followed. He'd been getting some good sleep and the dust of the early morning's rest still clung to his weary dreams. Tired and uncoordinated he walked into a smaller boy messing his organized binder out.
Everything fell to the floor in a cluttered mess, the boy went to pick it up and said something, he didn't pay any special attention to it in particular. Gabriel's gaze lowered to the floor, to the guy's face in a condescending fashion.
"Perhaps you should watch where you're walking..." Gabriel said in a tired voice uncaring
Though indeed he was doing the contrary, hardly awake and not focusing on where he was. He didn't pay much notice as to bother with the kid, Gabriel just wasn't in any particular mood one way or the other, a strange neutral.
(ooc: sorry it sucks rather distracted at the moment)

Oh of course he pulls that line, how cliche.
Frowning as he finished picking up his scattered papers, shoving them back in to his binder. He stood up looking at the larger boy, logic would dictate that causing trouble with someone larger would be a stupid move. The smart thing would be to just walk away without another word and leave the kid to his zombie walk, but he fucking got here before school to do this paper. And he really hated it when act like they are a bad ass. He could guess that the kid could fight, most people that acted that way could. The system lent itself to fighting skill anyway.
It was a question of whether he wanted to swallow his pride and walk away, or engage in a battle of wits with the oaf who knocked in to him. In the end he decided that any physical pain he might endure is hardly worth leaving. He wasn't the type to start fights true, but that mostly meant he didn't throw the first blow, he was more then happy to keep things verbal. It was the majority of the other students that got physical more often then not.
"And perhaps you should pull your head out of your own ass and pay attention to the world around you. Fucking oaf."
He said glaring at the other boy, his binder held in his right hand, he realized he would probably have to drop it if a fight broke out, but he wasn't going to drop it now. That is just inviting something. He stood his ground though, waiting for the other boy to say or do something in reaction to his verbal attack, would he parry with one of his own? Would he walk away from Steven? Or would he just do what most people do and go for violence.

Gabriel looked down with an unconcerned look. Just another pest in the system. The school was like a ventilation system, taking the dirty air and clearing it out but because of foul mouthed bugs like this there was no chance of coming out the other side clean. Time to make some learn manners. Gabriel grinned before flinging his fist downwards without prior signs of an attack he came down from the height of six foot one to only a few feet off the ground. Building speed behind it the fist was an intimidating weapon.
"Seems someone forgot their manners..." Gabriel mocked slowly a she'd move to grab the kid by the neck of his shirt and try throwing him into the wall which would shatter the crowds into a chanting circle of violence, a turbid storm of chaos.

Well it seemed that he was going to be like most of the other masses of the school. Resorting to violence at the drop of a hat. He couldn't say he didn't expect it, the system bred people like him. And because they fought so much they tended to be smart and fast. He wasn't slow, but he didn't really train for fighting. Still, at least he had been ready for something. He sidestepped away from the blow, his body spinning as he did so that the binder in his hand would swing around in an attempt to slam in to the back of the kid's head.
He suspected like a good deal of fights he would end up losing this one, but he didn't care about winning. He would be damned if he was going to be one of those worthless kids that stood and took it like a bitch though. He knew that he only had a few more years left here before hitting the real world. He wasn't about to let his world be consumed by this shit, he was going to have a real life.

Matrim had been recently close by, his glasses caught something out of the corner of them, and he noticed that Gabriel had seemed to bump into a kid. Strange, the kid seemed almost nerdish in appearance standing a few inches shorter than Matrim himself from his appearance, but it seemed as though he could take a hit. Though it was funny to see how fast Gabriel exploded on a kid just because of a smart mouth and bump. Matrim hid from the scene behind a crowd, concealing himself was rather easy behind the few that had gathered.
Things are getting violent yet again...... oh well. I'll watch and make sure Gabriel doesn't seriously injure this kid. Though in the end I've got to admit, it is a little funny. Isn't this the same guy who called the Pillars evil? I bet if I interfered that would somehow make me evil. Hell, if he saw me right now he'd probably say 'you standing there being evil! Why aren't you doing something to prevent students like him from bumping into me!' oh well. Some people just... never learn.
Matrim turned to one of the nearby students that was watching this go on, "Hey, who's the kid with the glasses?" The other kid shrugged at Matrim and Matrim brushed off the kids lackluster response, returning his attention to the scene unfolding.
Let's see how this kid makes out.....

The kid knew well enough to move out of the way of the incoming strike. And with that he followed through with one of his own. The binder would only be blocked by Gabriel defensibly shifting his left arm up to shield it. He didn't flinch from it's effects. He gave a smoothed out glare. And without any other notice he swung about to face him and aimed a kick into the boys gut with enough force to send him to the wall.
"Throwing things about wont get you anywhere..." Gabriel was still building off of what he'd said earlier.
