Eh.. This'll do for now I guess..
Travis was bored, and it usually wasn't a good thing for this senior to get bored. Today though, he was trying to take a different route. Instead of simply walking around throwing his fists, Travis was going to try to enjoy some basket ball. There were a few people sticking to one side of the court, which left Travis with a side all to himself. He wasn't exactly dressed for the sport, but he didn't give a shit. No one was going to tell him what he had to wear!
A pair of jeans and a tank top were what he wore, that bandanna hugged that reddish hair of his against his head, the goggles resting on top of it. Travis' hands gripped the basket ball as he stared up toward the hoops. He'd dropped it down and dribble it for a few seconds, and then look up and immediately shoot the ball toward the hoop.
It would hit the backboard and bounce back. Travis sucked at this game, and it was then he realized that maybe he shouldn't have bothered playing. It had already succeeded in pissing him off more then he already was. With a low growl he'd turn and whip the basket ball off to his left.
It just so happened to be flying toward a student now. And hard.

Cain paced through the courtyard by the basketball court, wearing a simple black shirt under his NYP hoodie and a pair of dark blue denim jeans that fit him quite perfectly. He was wearing his Sapphire Fists too, though for whatever reasons, Cain himself could not contemplate. Maybe cause it was quite a windy day that day and Cain was feeling quite chilly? Maybe. He had his backpack slung over his bag, his right hand holding his right bag strap onto his shoulders, his left bag strap simply hanging by the bag.
He sighed, wondering what to do now. School had ended and he was as bored as hell. Usually, he'd be picking a fight right about now, but this was 42, and 42 was not as active in terms of violence as 552. Picking a fight here would be, as Cain had realised the past few days, quite difficult. Most of the time, it was them picking the fight with him. After all, he WAS still 'Fresh Meat'. Ah, hell, might as we-
OMGWTF?!
Cain found himself being thrown forward as something hit his bag hard, the junior almost falling face flat on the ground had he not chosen to fall on his right knee instead. What the hell? He turned around, noticing the basket ball that was bouncing away from him. He stared at it for a moment, before letting his eyes wander past the sports equipment, finally noticing the red-head whose facial expression of frustration matched the power that had been behind that throw. Thank God Cain was wearing a bag.
He picked up the ball then, dropping his bag. Well, the guy was certainly going to pay for that. He tossed the ball into the air for a moment, preparing himself. And as soon as the ball came back down, he would grab it and throw it back at the red-head.

Bullseye! ..Sorta.
Travis watched that ball fly, and it hit someone. Or well, it would have if it hadn't connected with the boy's backpack. He hadn't intentionally targeted the boy for any reason whatsoever. He just happened to throw the ball, and now things would end up getting violent. Not that Travis wasn't secretly looking for a such a thing. After all, he enjoyed fighting. And it was a whole shit ton better then playing anymore Basketball.
The senior continued to watch as the boy picked up the Basketball and looked toward him. That look of frustration on Travis' face would soon shift into a cocky grin. It was easy to see he was confident. And all he did was raise both arms out to his sides as he simply awaited what he assumed was to come. And the ball was thrown. All Travis did was swing both hands around and clap them together, the ball between them. An audible pop as the Basketball would be decimated between those hands. He'd drop the remainder of the ball, and then begin his dash toward Cain.
Those icy blues would lock upon Cain, and his eyes would narrow as he neared. Though his attack wouldn't be something that most people did. Instead, just as Travis was about to enter into kicking range, his right foot would lift, and he'd stomp it down with all his power. The Basketball court would crack, giving way a bit as he burried his foot for a moment. Almost as soon as it had stomped down, it would lift upward again, flinging dust, dirt and concrete pieces in Cain's direction.

Cain's eyes widened. Did that basketball just pop in his hands? Oh, shit. What did Cain get himself into now? However, instead of looking as worried as he should be, the blue-haired junior merely smiled. Cain never backed down from a fight, no matter how superior his opponent was. He took every fight as a challenge to learn from, whether or not you win. After all, if one won, then he would learn from the experience that the fight had given him. If he had lost, then he would realise his flaws and weaknesses. Either way, Cain would benefit. Not to mention the adrenaline rush that comes as an extra to it all.
Travis then charged, without even a word exchanged. Quick to throw punches, huh? Cain slid his right foot back, arms raised as he waited for the arrival of the red-head. And it seemed that, from the twist at the waist, the man was aiming to use a kick to start off this fight. Cain lowered his defences, waiting for the strike that was to come. However, just as the man raised his leg, Cain found the direction unusual already. What was he trying to do?
The man stomped on the ground in front of him, the basketball court's asphalt ground cracking under the impact. Cain's eyes widened as he glanced up at the man's eyes, noticing the ferocity evident behind them. Oh, damn. Cain retaliated quickly, throwing his right fist forward at the man's face, just as he lifted his foot up, sending projectiles at him. The dirt and dust hit his right arm as the concrete pieces found the rest of his body, being heavier and all, his chest protected by the left arm.
But his right hand stayed on course, attempting to send a square and quick jab at Travis' cheek.

Travis didn't have any plans of dodging, or countering. At least not by grappling. Instead, Travis would let the boy punch him in the face. His head would have been pushing backwards slightly, but it would immediantly snap back into position as his left hand would lift from it's position bent at his side, and he'd look to send a mean hook to the boy's right side. If it connected, which he kind of expected it to since the boy would be pulling that arm backwards, then Travis was pretty sure he's knock the kid off-balance, and toward Travis' right.
All Travis would do then is pivot on his right foot, and send a quick low kick aimed to connect behind the kid's legs. He could have tried to follow up with something else, but he didn't want to get too far ahead of himself. He was still trying to feel the kid out, he didn't seem so bad when it came to fighting so far. But he'd know for sure if the kid had heart after this was said and done with.

And Cain would find his punch finding its target, much to his surprise. He was no idiot. The man was trying to test his abilities to gauge just how serious he would need to be in this fight. Cain somewhat felt underestimated at that thought, part of his grin fading away as he reeled his right hand back, knowing that its success was all but planned. And he soon knew why. With every attack one sends, one would be moving his limb and as a result, a particular part of his body would be open. Travis found Cain's opening.
The attack found Cain's side, the impact knocking the very air out of Cain's lungs, and his lungs against his heart, and his heart against the other lungs. Or at least, that's what Cain thought happened as the pain spread throughout his torso like a wildfire, the epicenter of it all at his side. His right foot was forced off the ground, the momentum behind the punch completely throwing his balance away.
Travis started moving again, however, this time spinning around with his waist sticking outwards. A sweep kick? Cain gritted his teeth. He was caught off-guard here. Reacting quickly and desperately, he leapt off with his left foot, placing his right foot then on Travis' arm as he kicked off, throwing himself away from the red-head, his left hand finally moving to position itself on his chest.
Cain would land on his right foot, facing Travis with his left hand across his chest. At that, Cain tasted a familiar bitter liquid in his mouth. It couldn't be. He only threw one punch!

Travis' left fist connected hard, and it had knocked the boy off balance as he had planned, but the sweep didn't really go as planned, the boy was smart enough to jump up, and he'd even kick off Travis' body to get some distance. The only real problem with what he had done, was that he seemed to think that Travis was the kind of guy to sit back when someone tried to move away. Actually, it was quite the opposite. He loved to put the pressure on people, and this case would be no different.
The boy kicked off him, and Travis wasted no time in rushing forward as the boy moved through the air. So when Cain set back down upon the Basketball court, Travis was already coming in with a planned attack. His right side would shift forward slightly, as Travis' would tuck his chin to his chest, drop his shoulder slightly while it lead the charge. He planned to slam that right shoulder against Cain's body as he touched down.
This kid seemed like he had a lot of potential, at least Travis believed so. With time he guessed with male would rise, who knew what would happen then. But Travis was still well above him, at least when it came to physical ability. As for technique, Travis wasn't able to gauge it yet. He'd have to wait until he saw a bit more of his aresenal. That is, if he had to keep going with this.

Of course, Cain had expected to be shot down while he was in the air, but instead, Travis chose to target him just as he was about to land. And Cain was ready for him, or at least, ready enough to not let him have a clean strike. He had pulled his right arm back the moment he knew that Travis was coming right towards him and as soon as the red-head had come close enough, Cain would snap his right fist forward, aiming it at Travis' right temple.
It would not be enough to stop the man's charge, Cain knew, but at least he had a hit on the man. The only thing that Cain was worried then was whether or not he would be able to handle the shoulder ram. Well, here goes nothing.
The shoulder rammed hard into Cain's chest, despite the make-shift shield his left arm posed. Cain was thrown further backwards than he had intended to, the junior losing all control over his body momentarily. His heels touched the ground first, but due to the large momentum that had been transferred upon him, Cain would find his body being flipped backwards, landing on his upper back then. His body went up into the air for a moment, before letting gravity take him as he fell backwards finally, falling upon his stomach. A grunt escaped him as the blood that was storing up in his mouth spilled through his lips, staining the grass by his chin red.
His chest ached, his ribs probably fractured or so, considering how much it was burning right now. The man was decimating him completely. Cain let out a soft grunt of frustration, placing both hands on the ground as he slowly pushed himself up onto all fours. He looked up at Travis with his crimson-stained teeth barred. His chest screamed, urging him to succumb to the stronger opponent, but the fight had just started, Cain thought, and it was certainly turning out into a fun and challenging bout.
He dragged himself onto both feet, shaky for a moment but was soon able to stabilise himself as he looked up at Travis. First, it was Gabriel. Then, it was Matrim. Stu came after that. And now, Travis? Cain was suffering a losing streak here, and it seemed that this school had an abundance of powerful fighters.
Cain was getting more excited about his stay here in 42.

Cain's punch landed upon Travis' head, and he felt it for sure. The kid could punch, but I was use to taking a shot or two to the head. So I still charged forward with that shoulder and slammed it against him, knocking him away. He was actually surprised when the boy pushed himself up onto his feet. He was taking a nice beating, and still had the heart to get up. Travis could respect him for that. His form would straighten up and relax a bit, hooking his thumbs into the belt loops of his jeans as he stared toward Cain.
"You sure you want to go on? I'll let you off easy if you want."
He was being serious. The boy had done well, at least he thought. He had managed to stay standing for this long. He was strong, and he believe that he had some kind of potential. Travis didn't know his name, but he was good. And he'd have to get it for future reference. He had a feeling this wouldn't be the last time he'd see him.
"What's your name, kid?"

"You sure you want to go on? I'll let you off easy if you want."
Cain looked at Travis. And to think, he was the one who initiated this fight. Now he was asking Cain if he still wanted to go at it? Cain gritted his teeth for a moment, before noticing the bitter taste of blood in his mouth once more. It reminded him suddenly of the time when Leanne had cried while trying to bandage him. Was this worth it? No, it was not. The excitement and thrill of combat had now turned into the sick pleasure of torture. And it was him on the receiving end. Cain sighed. He may be bloodthirsty, but he was no idiot. He knew his limits, and when to stop pushing on them.
"It's obvious who the victor of this battle is. Next time, though, it wouldn't be as easy."
Cain glanced up at Travis, letting out a soft grunt, before a revealing a soft smile, its honestly only hindered by the blood that was on his lips and chin. Despite the beating, the junior stayed on his two feet, now more steady than before as he reached up with his right arm, wiping the blood off his chin. That was an enriching fight, for sure.
"What's your name, kid?"
"It's Cain. And I'd appreciate it if you don't call me 'kid'. I'm afraid, though, I don't have the pleasure of knowing your name yet."
