[Victor "Break" D'Armond]

"I'm aurora... or thirteen, whichever you so choose. It's good to meet you both!" aurora introduced herself. so thirteen wasn't her real name. "aurora is one of my favorite names, if you don't mind I'll call you that" Victor laughed to himself.

"Victor you sound great" she said. "thanks, I like that you can tune by ear" he mentioned watching her tune her bass.

"So what does everyone play? I know Ryuu plays guitar and I know Thirteen plays bass and synth, but what about you two?" Nick asked.

"Good question... I play guitar and piano, each for several years with some lessons and everything else I play I've just kind of picked up... I can play most brass instruments... and uhh... most string instruments... except asian string instruments" he explained, his azure eyes scrolling around the top of his head as he thought. "as far as guitar goes I'm more of a rythym person, and I can finger pick pretty well, but if we're going for rock and need a strong lead that is not my forte" he said casting a smile and a glance over to Ryuu. he then turned his attention back to aurora.

"Aurora, would I be allowed to play you guitar? since you're playing your bass I might as well hold it" he said. he tried not to chuckle this time considering how much he had been laughing this whole time, they'd think he was nuts if he kept at it.

[Ryuu]

Ryuu saw the guy take the bass and put it on, then picked out a short bass groove, then tried slapping, it worked a couple times but it was sounded very hit or miss, as he told them that bass wasn't his thing, he was more of a singer and rhythm guitarist as he took the bass off and set it down gently against the amp he was sitting on, before asking them if they knew any 'Say anything', or 'Alive With the Glory of Love,' which is what he wanted to sing as he heard the guy's voice get stronger, flashing them a friendly smile. "Hmm, I'm not really familiar with the song, I heard it once before, but that was about it. I'll try though." Ryuu replied, as he adjusted the position of his guitar, before hearing a familiar voice as Ryuu looked up and over at the doorway, and saw Thirteen beaming at them. "Well speak of the devil," Ryuu said, "If it isn't Thirteen." He saw she had a guitar case and bag on her back, putting her slightly off-balance as she walked in and hopped up, telling them she recognized him and Nick, but not the other guy, as she pulled out a maple wooden Schecter Studio 6. Ryuu whistled in awe at it, he heard the sound of someone singing the lyrics from the song he had been playing just now. He then saw a girl stop at the doorway as the guy started singing, Ryuu trying his best to remember the notes for the song as he started playing.

Once the guy started singing, the girl stopped singing and looked over at them, her clothing, it was hard to describe, but damn, he had to give her points for individuality. Ryuu saw her then look over at Thirteen while they played, telling them they sounded good, and asked if she could join as she waved to Nick, who waved back shyly. Ryuu grinned slightly at Nick while he continued to to play, he gave her a quick nod, as the guy finished singing with a lot of excitement. Ryuu heard the girl chime in with the guy, as the song ended, and the girl nodded and placed her bag down before taking a seat near Nick. The guy then sat down and took his pea coat off and draped it over his chair, as he commented on more people coming in and how he got into it, and was passionate about music as he laughed. He then introduced himself as Victor, but told them to call him "Break," as everyone else began to introduce themselves, including the girl, who was named Tash, which was short for Natasha, as Victor commented on her name, saying it was beautiful, as well as telling Thirteen her name was one of his favorite names.

He saw Thirteen manage to get all her equipment down and pull out her bass, she then began to search for something, an amp it seemed, since she plugged her bass into it, and grabbed the stool nearby as well, sitting on it. He heard Nick laugh hard at "Break's" joke, as Ryuu smiled slightly, understanding the joke. Thirteen then complimented Victor, who complimented her back about her ability to play by ear. Well, Thirteen really didn't have too much of a choice, seeing as she was blind. Nick then asked what did the other two play, as Victor told them what he played. Ryuu saw "Break" cast a smile and a glance over in his direction, as Ryuu shrugged his shoulders casually, and then asked Thirteen if he could hold her guitar, since she was playing bass. "Hold up," Ryuu interrupted, as he lifted his legs up off the bleachers, and walked up to the front of the room where a whiteboard was located, and picking up the marker, uncapped it, and began to write on the board, fully aware that Thirteen wouldn't be able to read. Once he was done, he stepped away from the board, letting the others see what he wrote, which said:

"Well, I'm Ryuu, obviously. I wrote down on the board what positions each of us might have, Tash has lead singer, I have lead guitarist and back-up singer, "Break" has back-up guitarist and singer, Thirteen, you have the bassist position, and Nick has drummer, if anyone of you guys don't like the position in the band that you have, feel free to voice your thoughts, and we'll work something out. We need a name. We can't become a band without a name." Ryuu then capped the marker, and stayed standing at the board, as he rested his arms on his Telecaster.

Not the lead singer? oh well, no worries, he liked the thought of this too, and the girl could definately sing so it didn't bother him. "Looks fine to me... I do have one suggestion... two lead vocalists... not on the same song, but like if one of us writes a song we sing it... or if we ever write any duets" Victor said casting a smiling glance to tash. "But if you don't like that idea, thats cool too, I like it either way" Victor said the last words melodically. He then thought up some band names, but stopped considering something.

"I think band names should have a lot to do with what kind of style the band plays... you know, our lyrical feel and what-not" Break mentioned innocently looking around. "I'm really open to all styles, what do you guys want to play?" he asked easily.

[Tash]

Tash had opened her mouth and was just about to throw out an idea when Break beat her to it.

"Looks fine to me... I do have one suggestion... two lead vocalists... not on the same song, but like if one of us writes a song we sing it... or if we ever write any duets"

"I was just going to suggest that, but you beat me to it." Tash interjects. "I would be totally cool with that. I mean, there are just some songs that are going to work better with a guy singing lead. If that ends up being the case with some of the songs then I'd be happy on backup. And from the sound of it, Break's fine if it's the other way around. I think that would work better, to be honest."

It seems like a reasonable suggestion to her and she hopes it goes over well. So far there don't seem to be any objections, but she'll wait and see...

[Ryuu]

He then erased some of what he wrote, and did some adjustments, once he was done, he stepped back once more, letting them see what he had fixed, which said:

"So, Tash has lead singer and will sometimes be the back-up singer, "Break" has second guitarist and second lead and back-up singer. Everyone else's positions are the same. Now, are there any other thoughts?" Ryuu asked, capping the marker once more. Break looked up and down the new roster, it pleased him. "If you wanna be nit picky you forgot that I can play piano... and I think I could work that into a few songs..." Victor mentioned with a small laugh. then looked to everyone else.

"Anything but country," Ryuu replied, "I'm not a big fan of country music, but besides that, I'm fine with anything, though let's not do too much rap."

"I don't think we're equipped for rap, plus I'm pretty white... unless tash wants to" Break joked "nah... I'm feeling more of the rock scene myself, if anyone has anything else they'd like to add though, I don't wanna stop anyone" break explained

[Tash]

"Aw, hell no, Break! I'm only half black, man!"

She protests, sticking her tongue out at him. He's kidding and she knows it, but she feels like giving him a little hell for it. Shit, she gives everyone a little hell about anything she thinks. It's her nature to speak her mind, even if it gets her in trouble.
"Go listen to Hawthorne Heights, punk ass white boy!"

She returns the favor and stereotypes white back. Oops, did she think that? Right back. Her jade green eyes glitter with laughter as she nods in agreement with his last statement: she's more into rock herself.


"No objections to rock: what does everyone listen to? I'm more of a Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doors, Incubus, The Beatles sort of girl, normally but I'm not going to judge anyone else's tastes. How about the rest of us?"

[Nicolas Constantine]

Nick was being silent this whole time, not really minding who played what as long as it sounded good. And as long as he was the drummer, which apparently he was after reading the whiteboard. Nick didn't really speak until Tash listed her influences.

"No objections to rock: what does everyone listen to? I'm more of a Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doors, Incubus, The Beatles sort of girl, normally but I'm not going to judge anyone else's tastes. How about the rest of us?"

"Definitely rock. All of those bands are fine with me, even though I'd probably add some Metallica, Gun's n Roses, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Black Sabbath, etc. You know, the classics. And I don't mind playing metal, either." he smiled.

[Aternity]

"Hoo hoo!"

You'd never take Thirteen for someone that liked rock, but she did. She stopped striking her notes, and actually started to listen for once. A band hm? Well how fun! She needed some kind of hobby, something to do at night, and this might just be the ticket out of her eternal boredom. Yay! She didn't mind her other band members either. They seemed nice enough.

"I like what you guys like. No real musical tastes."

She smiled. She be flexible...

Really though, all she needed was a good practice on what they played...or since she couldn't read music, play arpeggios by ear. Either way was okay, it just means that there probably would never be a written bass part to any of their music. Which was fine. Unless they were good. That would likely piss SOMEONE off.

"Uhh...I can't read music..."

Better just tell them now.

[Ryuu]

"I'll... keep that in mind," Ryuu replied, as he heard "Break" laugh, "Let's not overload and pump your ego up." Ryuu then told him he was fine with anything but country, and maybe rap. Ryuu inputted, as he leaned against the whiteboard, his arms folded across his chest. "Uhh...I can't read music..." "Don't worry about that Thirteen," Ryuu said reassuringly, "Right now, we're just in the organizing stage, we'll figure out something once we hit the performing stage. For now, we just need to get a name down. Any suggestions?"

[Victor "Break" D'Armond]

Break laughed very openly, boisterous and full of humor, it was a pretty laugh. The hawthorne heights comment was hillarious, and ryuu with his guitar hero joke just broke it to a whole new level.

His laughter died down and he listened patiently as everyone named their influences.

"Wow guys..." he said, almost at a loss for words "I really like all the stuff you guys just named... like... all of it... I also like a bit of an indie feel sometimes too... stuff like neutral milk hotel, future kings of nowhere, Danger bears, The sun also rises..." he offered. "lesser known stuff true, but its all good, still if we're going nitty gritty rock, I do love my classics, guns n' roses, aerosmith, led zep" he said, all with a gratuitous nod to Nick. "though I also can't hide, I'm emo at heart, I love My chemical romance" he said with a laugh

[Ryuu]

"We'll work out the details of our music style later," Ryuu said, as he walked away from the board, "For now, I'd say we're officially a band, though we don't have a name yet. I'm leaning more towards calling our band 'Take 5ive,' though if you guys have anything else in mind, I'm open to ideas." Ryuu then walked to his guitar case, and pulled his guitar off, before placing it into the guitar case, and snapped it shut. "If you guys need anything, or just want to play for the heck of it, just give me a call on my cell." Ryuu then pulled his iPhone out, once everyone had exchanged numbers, he placed his phone back into his pocket, and hefted his guitar up, slinging it over his shoulder.

"I now declare ourselves officially a band, and I claim this music room as our practice room. If we ever want to practice or play, come here, because nobody comes here anyways, and we won't get disturbed by anybody." Ryuu then turned, and began to head towards the door, as he gave the others a two finger wave, before walking out the door. It was official. His vision of making a band had come true. It had actually succeeded. Damn it felt nice to have something he visioned actually become a reality. And he had a feeling unlike last time, the others would be very reliable, and wouldn't disappear on him like ninja's. He couldn't help but grin like an idiot, that was how excited he was. A band... He was actually a part of an actual band. Awesome.
