(OOC: Sorry writer's block ;_;)
It seemed as though many of the 552-ers had migrated to Point Hope afterwards to escape all that drama. It did seem New York was some what the epitome of violence and brutality, or something of that sort. Either way, it was definitely nice to see a familiar face, be able to share the darkest secret you had kept to yourself in a long time and release that stress. Leanne nodded at what Li suggested, and smiled, it was nice to have someone you can lean on.
"Thanks partner, by the way you should introduce her to me sometime, I would love to have some lady friends too y'know!" Leanne paused, "Now that I think about it, I don't think I ever made females acquaintance or friends, except Ryorin, though she was more my rival...Sheesh, you people making me more manly that I thought I'd ever be."
Leanne joked with a with a small laugh.
"So anything special about this school I should now about?"

"Sure, I wouldn't mind introducing you to her," Li replied, tilting his head slightly at her, "And what do you mean, 'you people'!? I happen to think you're probably the height of being feminine, Ms. Ice Queen." Li teased back, grinning evilly at Leanne. "I'd have to agree with you though, Ryorin seemed to be more of a rival than your friend. I mean, based on what I remember, though my memory is slightly fuzzy, the both of you fought over over things, especially when it came to him." Li commented, as he gripped his chin in deep contemplation. Unlike Cain, who had escaped to Point Hope to get away from all the drama that surrounded New York, Li had been shipped there unwillingly. But then again, if he hadn't been tried for his crimes and sent there, he would've never met Alexis, and never become her boyfriend.
So in a way, it was kind of a good thing he was sent there. "There is one thing you should know about this school, that sets it apart from 552," Li began, as he turned to look at Leanne, "Most, but not all of the students here, have a Qi, just like I used to. Some already can use it, others have yet to even discover they have one. I myself am not even sure if I have a new Qi, since I lost my old one. Just be careful if you ever get into a fight with someone, because you can never tell if they have a Qi or not, not until they actually use it." Li shrugged his shoulders casually. "Beyond that, 42 is basically the same as 552. Oh, and stay away from the cafeteria food. I didn't think it was possible, but the food here may be even more potentially fatal than the food back at 552." Li shuddered to add to the effect, before chuckling quietly. "I wish I knew where he was, but unfortunately, your guess is as good as mine. I'm sorry Leanne, truly I am."
(OOC: Lol, why does this feel like Final Fantasy X-2 for some reason? Referring to Cain as "he," "him," hehehe.)

It was like speaking in a secret code or language with all the references to that one person. Leanne took comfort in having someone that understood her and at least had some sort of idea where he had been. And the note about the qi was quite interesting. There didn't seem to be anyone with qi or some kind of inner power of that sort back in 552 so that would be a huge change as well as a surprise. Leanne wondered if she could get a qi herself. And other questions rose when she tried to figure out how qi works, how to train it and possible unlock it. Then again, maybe she just wasn't born with it.
"I wish I knew where he was, but unfortunately, your guess is as good as mine. I'm sorry Leanne, truly I am."
"Don't worry about it." Leanne would say with a small smile before punching Li's arm lightly just out of a whim, "I guess I should be going, I'll catch you around?"
Leanne decided to do some research on Cain's whereabouts just to make sure he's safe, then again she's dealing with Chrynos. Well then off to the second option which was learning more about qis and possibly get some answers.

"Ow," Li replied, as he teasingly pretended to rub the spot where Leanne had punched him lightly like it hurt, when it reality, it barely even stung, "Yeah, I better get going to. I'll see you later then." Li watched Leanne walk away, her back facing him, before he leaned back on the bench and looked up at the clear blue sky, a light breeze blowing his hair back. He didn't know where Cain had gone off to after Point Hope, but knowing Cain, he was more than likely alright, after all, this is Cain we're talking about. The guy is a lot tougher than he looked. Sure, Li had fought him only twice, but those two fights were enough to convince Li just how strong Cain really was.
Leanne too. Both of them were strong. But Li knew that until Leanne saw with her own eyes that Cain was alive and well, she wouldn't stop worrying about him. Li lifted his right hand up, staring at his hand, before clenching it into a fist. Until Cain appeared here, if he ever would, Li would watch out for Leanne, not just because she was his former partner in crime, but because she was also his friend too. Cain, you're lucky to have Leanne worry about you so much, you know that? Don't ever take that for granted. Hurry up and get here, so she won't have to worry about you...
