Ah, there it was. That warm little feeling, the Mediterranean sun and sea feeling he always gave her. Warm and happy and a little and always restless. And suddenly she wasn't so nervous anymore. She couldn't explain what it was or why she loved that sensation so much, but she did and she wasn't about to argue with it. This familiarity was something she could get used to.

They neared the parking lot and Tash lingered for a moment by her Bambino, giving the classic Mustang a fond thump on its vented hood as they passed it.


"Saremo indietro per voi. Prometto, il mio tesoro." She murmurs to it tenderly, then slips her hand softly back into Dominic's and lets him lead the way. His beautiful Audi R8 was a few rows down from Bambino and she smiled at the sight of the familiar car so far away from its home on the Andretti's Palermo estate.

"This surprise you've got planned must be something enorme, isn't it, Domino? Or you wouldn't have brought your orgoglio e gioia with you. Don't think I'll let you forget to spill whatever's up, mio lupo solitario." Tash says with a smile as they walk up to the sleek car. "Which way's your place?"

It was a strange strange feeling for Dom. The kind of strange that is exciting because you know its okay under the current circumstances, but normally it would be frowned upon. That was how he felt about holding Tash's hand.

He knew she would let go to pet her bambino that was okay by him, but the second she let go and patted the hood of the car he became jealous. "Dolare", he thought to himself. Its just a car. Well correction, it was a gorgeous piece of American made muscle with enough horses to make a cowboy jealous. It was a fine automobile and it perfectly personified its owner.

"Bambina, I will spill it all when we return to my new home," Dom said unable to control a smile.

"Oh, and your on the wrong side of the car bambina, its from Europe remember," he said while winking sarcastically at Tash.

She just blinked for a minute, a blush creeping along her cheeks. Of course it was a European car. She'd ridden in this car before. Why that had escaped her......well she wasn't quite sure and wasn't up to trying to figure it out either.


"Oh. No shit. My bad."

She says with a mortified little wince as she makes her way to the other side of the sleek black car. The thing was poetry even when it wasn't in motion. Before she gets in the car she gives Dom's hand a little squeeze and glances up at him as she slides into the passenger seat.

"Really Domino. It is nice to see you. It really is."
