Title of the Thread (Nick, Open)

Her face was priceless when she looked at the clock. He couldn't blame her for sleeping through the end of lunch bell. If he were sleeping, he would have done the same, but then again, he wouldn't have cared that he missed class. She got up and stretched and Nick just watched before she turned to him.

"Well, I should probably get going..."[/b]

"Aww, you don't want to sit and chat with me?" he said half-jokingly with a little puppy dog look on his face.

He would have enjoyed her company, but if she left anyway, he would go on to surfing the net like he planned to do when he entered the classroom.

"If not, I'll catch you later!" he would say to her.

[Malix]

"Oh don't give me those puppy-dog eyes!" says Malix in a mock-pleading sort of way.

Now our girl Malix here is torn between the prospect of going to class or staying and chatting, and stands there, clearly conflicted.

She takes her classes seriously and honestly works and studies...something that didn't seem all that common here, which was all the more like a challenge that she wanted to meet.

On the other hand, she was having a good time here with Nick...

Oh so divided!

In the end though, her steady practicality wins out.

"No I really can't skip, I'm behind as it is. Besides, I'll see you again soon!"

She adjusts her bag and pushes her chair in. "Catch you later, Nick," she says and smiles glowingly. Then she whirls, and her hair fans out in a curtain of red-orange, and then she is gone, leaving behind only a lingering hint of her scent, which smells pleasantly like conditioner and fresh air.
